Just wanted to share my lovely experiences at The Trumpet Corner Tearoom. I'm always made to feel right at home. It's a really charming tearoom with genuinely welcoming and attentive staff. They make sure you have everything you need. The food is delicious, fresh and tasty plus they offer a gentle coffee blend. The cake and pasty selection is yummy! Everything on the menu seems thoughtfully prepared with high-quality ingredients. My recent evening visit with friends for the speciality 'Harvest Supper' was delicious, everything 'Harvest' on the menu - great food and services with a wonderful ambience. Trumpet Tearooms are a little gem, I’d highly recommend to anyone looking for a friendly spot with excellent food, coffee & cake. Can’t wait for my next visit.

Wow we went as a family of 5 and we ate first then played 10 pin bowls. The staff were so friendly and the service was really quick. We all ate different meals and they were all spot on. Decent sized portions and hot! Would definitely recommend and will be visiting again. Thank you so much.

Not a welcoming pub, staff including management could do with attending a course in customer relations. The young girl behind the bar almost threw the menu at us. The lady ( late 60’s grey bob wearing glasses) I assumed was the landlady is evidently in the wrong career was very rude and condescending. The whole of the pub could do with a good clean. Don’t look at the floor if you eat there and the tables are so sticky. There are far better pubs in Bridgnorth for example The Castle a little further up the road is a lovely friendly pub. It appears we weren’t the only ones that had had a bad experience another couple that followed us out felt the same.

We had a lovely stay - only stayed b & b but breakfast was lovely - our room was amazing - perfect no faults at all - can’t wait to go back - we were there for the cookery school ( tapas) whole thing was brilliant - looking at more courses. Staff were all friendly and couldn’t be more helpful - Tracey you’re a star ! So helpful. Thanks everyone for a lovely experience - would recommend.

It was fairly quiet with diners at the time of our visit. Service is well organised. When it comes to the food it's easier to say what was nice than wasn't. The good stuff which tasted fab was the turkey, cauli cheese, roast potatoes and roast carrots - virtually everything else was average I'm afraid, including the beef and gravy. The pork balls and Yorkie puds were poor. Peas were starting to get discoloured. The meat portion overall was a tad on the small side for a large plate. Verdict: not as good as the old carvery which ended in July 2023, but still not bad.

As a family of four plus partners we were excited to try Stoneaged for a Birthday meal at 8pm on a Saturday night. Points of note below: - We were allowed to sit down and order drinks before then being told there was no fillet steak available; very disappointed. - Two of us that were going to have fillet decided instead to share a chateaubriand. Then told there were none of them left either. - Informed they had 1 t-bone remaining, rump and ribeyes. - Long wait for food even though there were 5 chefs on staff and only 2 waiting staff, who were ran off their feet but provided an excellent service despite the challenges they were facing. - A pizza that had less taste than a frozen tesco pizza. - Two orders of cheesy garlic bread that looked completely different, one overcooked and one undercooked. - Eton Mess with no fruit in it. - Chocolate sundae for which was just chocolate ice cream and cream. The saving grace of the night was the lovely Amelia who dealt with the circumstances amazingly. We’ve been told they are under new management so hopefully this will get better.

Outstanding, simply outstanding. You think you have grasped the concept of ‘depth of flavour’ and then you get to sample their roe buck consommé and it opens up a new world of taste experience. The monkfish could not have been more perfectly cooked. All of the staff were knowledgable, passionate and friendly whilst also being efficient and skilled….. quite a feat to pull off successfully. The wine pairing is most definitely worth a punt, if you are lucky enough to have a designated driver….traditional but with a few curve balls thrown in.

This pub is one of the winners in the shake up of Stourbridge pubs entering the 2025 Good Beer Guide. Everything you would expect from a Black Country Ales house - large selection of well kept, fresh cask ales; comfortable seating; smart decor and efficient, friendly service.
