This lady is rude with no customer service skills. She got my order completely wrong, ruining the surprise I had planned for a partners birthday. I messaged her asking what happened with the order and she didn’t reply for days. I messaged her again telling her I’d leave a bad review if she didn’t respond with a reason why the order was wrong, and why she has continued to blank me when asked about the order. She then called me being very rude down the phone saying all the things that were right with the order, but saying nothing about getting anything wrong. She just took my money and ran with it! giving me something I didn’t ask for. No offer of a remake, or a refund or even some of the money sent back. Unbelievable. Go elsewhere for your cakes, avoid this woman.

Ordered two birthday cakes in July, they were both amazing! The most delicious cakes! Everyone commented on how delicious they were and had so many people ask where they were from. Thank you for making two celebrations extra special!

As always when buying from Milly and her staff you are met with staff who are knowledgeable on their products and happy to help and there is always service with a smile. The goodies are always delicious, whether it is the cookies, brownies or cakes that I decide to go for I am never disappointed. Keep up the good work, Milly!

Cakes-a-Daisy has always been one of my favourite places for a treat so when they released their Easter menu I was so excited and they did not disappoint. The cupcakes were delicious, beautiful chocolate cakes which had the best toppings! And the Biscoff filled Easter egg was genuinely one of the best things I’ve ever had, so yummy and tasty! One of the best places to head for a treat, I’d recommend to anyone 🍰😍

I ordered a cake for my mums 60th. It looks absolutely incredible. I have had numerous cakes made from Cakes-A-Daisy and I’m always happy with what I get, hence why I keep going back 😃 I have also been to an old school dessert night which was amazing. 🍰

Ordered a cake for my Moms 50th and they adapted it to the tee of what I asked for. When we went to the store to pick the cake up all of the staff were really friendly and helpful and we didn’t have to wait long for the cake to be boxed for us to go. We even had a cake from the counter to eat on the way home. The cakes were delicious! We will definitely be going back again!

On Thursday, I had to have my second Covid Jab at Great Wyrley. Having stayed for 15 minutes to make sure I hadn't grown another head, We decided to recover from the experience with a nice cup of tea/coffee and a slice of cake. Julie had been there before with her daughters and had had a good time. On arrival, we duly donned our masks and entered. To be greeted with the sight of some beautiful cakes on display, Now usually, I know what I want , but this time there was a lot of mouthwatering choice. Having made our choice we were directed to go down a side entrance to a lovely little garden with a few tables each under an awning. Drinks were served promptly and the cakes were divine. We will defiantly go there again very soon.

CAD is just amazing, every week the counter is stacked with the best cakes, brownies and cookie dough I've ever seen & eaten. The staff are brilliant, friendly and helpful. The owner is a total inspiration & an enabler (every week, I promise myself I'll have a week off & I never do...!) As long as the shop is there, I'll be visiting (nearly!) every week.

Loveeee the cakes from here! Portions sizes are hugeeee. Can easily last a few days on one slice of cake! Tastes amazing! The mega chocolate traybake is insane! So is the chocolate orange cakeYet to try all my other goodies but I’m sure they’ll be just as delicious

I’ve been visiting cakes-a-daisy for a good few years now and each time I’ve always been satisfied. Staff are always so friendly and happy to help I’ve never had any issues and the cakes taste so fresh! The portion sizes are huge well worth value for money. Highly recommend to anyone!

I’ve ordered some items via post and also picked up fresh items. All were faultless. Taste amazing and also extremely reasonable costing (in fact the fresh waffles and cookie doughs are a lot less then anywhere else locally and have a lot more topping)!From following their Instagram page you can tell how much love and passion goes into the baking.I can’t believe from reading some of these reviews that anyone has felt it acceptable to criticise lack of stock when they visit / try to order online. To expect a small business to make an excessive amount of stock that they could lose money on would be unrealistic. The fact that they go out of stock quickly is also a reflection of the amazing quality of food provided.It is safe to say I will continue to order from Cakes-A-Daisy and will be recommending them to family and friends as they are 100% the best at what they do in this area.

Ordered a birthday cake from Cakes-a-Daisy back in Jan 2021 and have to say Milly & the team are absolutely amazing. Due to personal circumstances I couldn’t go fetch the cake and emailed them to ask what my options were. Milly called me straight back and she arranged for it to be delivered (may I add I live quite local to her). She also added some extra treats too that I wanted. She was so caring and asking all sorts and if I needed any help with shopping etc.The cake, omg it was amazing.... and tasted the bomb I left everything to her and the team as I love the creations they make. And I can’t wait to order again, have recommended cakes-a-daisy to loads of people.Thank you for the lovely cake and also the amazing customer service, even the after call to check it was ok and asking how recovering was going! Ordered a personalised cake for my partners birthday. Good communication and got exactly what i’d asked for. The cake itself was delicious, looked amazing and still tasted just as good up to a week later. Would absolutely recommend to anyone and will definitely come back again, especially for the little treats on a Saturday.

I have dined inside and also preordered many birthday cakes. My nan was 96 at the end of March and to try and make a second lockdown birthday special i preordered a fresh strawberry and chocolate drip cake. She was completely over the moon. There is always a good selection of various treats. All of the staff are warm, welcoming and helpful. The owner has faced so many new challenges over the pandemic but you can clearly see how well she has adapted and even grown a successful business in the hardest of times. It's wonderful watching a small local business go from strength to strength.

I work at Amazon In Rugeley - 2 ladies at work where raving about the cakes. So I thought I would give it a try.. The brownies (vegan) are so tasty! Honestly they are a taste sensation! & the doughnuts are simply the best too.. I ordered 2,000 in total - A split of Vegan Brownies and Doughnuts. For our associates as a thank you and they all enjoyed them and the feedback was hmmm lovely.. Thank you Milly, Lynn and all the team! We will be back for more!!

I have been to to shop on a Saturday on a number of occasions for their amazing weekly counter and it was my first experience with them that made me love them. They stayed open until 3pm instead of their usual time of 2pm as there was still plenty of amazing stock available. I didn’t get to the shop until 2:50pm and not once did I feel rushed or pressured to hurry with my order so they can shut up shop. Milly served me and she was just so amazing- so kind, full of smiles, telling me all the details I wanted to know about each product available and reassuring me that I can take my time in choosing what I wanted to purchase. Honestly this made me fall in love with her and i have been obsessed with Milly ever since. Just seeing how dedicated she was to ensuring I had the best experience possible and you can see the dedication she has for her business and her customers. Milly you are an inspiration and I wish nothing more than even greater success for you. (And thankyou for blessing me with the best blondies I’ve ever had!)

Always a fantastic service I’ve been having my granddaughters birthday cakes from Milly since they opened I’m always late ordering because I forget. But they never let me down I get at beautiful cake every time. I’ve been for afternoon tea here and picked up cakes for my work colleges.A 5 star service and 5 star cakes can’t recommend them enough.

I absolutely adore this place, set in the pretty little village of Cheslyn Hay, it’s a little slice of heaven for all your bakery treats. Milly and the team are welcoming, warm and friendly and you are instantly put at ease. They go out of their way to make sure you leave happy and we can never wait for Saturdays to come so we can go and fetch our treats for the weekend! Check out the company Instagram account, it’s informative, funny and extremely honest and you always know what’s coming up on counter so if you are coming from further a field you can plan in advance, definitely our families happy place!

Had the black friday deal, ready for Christmas week we had 2 trays for this week the malteaser traybake which was really nice except wasn't a fan of the buttercream but that personal preference for me it tasted like I was just eating butter I prefer it sweeter. Then ordered brownie unfortunately found it overbaked and dry. It was Christmas and I know they will of done 100's of orders so may of effected the quality. If I had paid the full price £20 for the tray I would of had to let them know but only paid £20 for both trays and was just enjoying Christmas. Also had a large blondie tray for end of January. I originally ordered it with buttercream but messaged on Instagram at the time and was replied to in a pleasant manner and was a quick reply, they were able to change my order and take the buttercream off. The blondie was ok but have had better ones in the past but was worth the £10 I paid . Overall if I'd paid the full price it would of been too expensive for the quality of the products except the malteaser traybake which was a winner.

Only been to cakesadaisy once due to trying to keep healthy and fit but I only live round the corner from this shop and I can honestly say it looks so welcoming, Millie is an absolute Diamond . From being a mom to running a business and never failing to make an amazing product. Please people support these small businesses. ❤️❤️ Carry on the amazing work babe xx

Had a birthday cake made a while back for my daughters birthday, cake was amazing and out of this world. Follow them on social media, the stuff the shop produces is amazing, love to see what’s on the counter each week! Popped in on few occasions on a Saturday after my daughter finished football, sadly games aren’t played local to shop anymore so I don’t pass it ! I have many experiences with cakes-a-daisy, dating back to when they first opened. Mostly as a customer but also as an interviewee in 2020. Milly the owner is wonderful, always friendly and welcoming if you go in as a customer and made my interview the most comfortable interview I've ever had. Every cake, brownie, tray bake or cookie dough I've had from there has been delicious too. My only criticism is that the way they work things now feels alot less personal than before and it's harder to get hold of anything, but they are doing their best with the coronavirus pandemic and manage to keep their social media followers updated on their plans as much as possible. 100% recommend a visit or order!

I had picked up a cookie cake not long ago from cakes a daisy for my boyfriends birthday, it was unreal! So many of us enjoyed it and It was just what I asked for, I wish I ordered two! I have been on other occasions on a saturday to collect some bakes off the counter and they just continue to be creative and so yummy, Milly is brilliant and the reason she has so much success is because she knows what people want and has amazing customer service as the rest of her team! Keep up the amazing bakes girl!

Started following in the first lockdown and never managed to get my hands on a postal box however I live locally and was very excited when Milly re opened for take away! Been a fair few times now and have loved everything I’ve ever purchased! Highly recommend the Blondies (any flavour Milly does they’re so good) and I highly recommend warming them up for a few minutes and they just melt in your mouth! Service has always been fantastic with friendly staff even when they’re busy they’ll always have a quick chat! Can’t wait till you can re open and I can come have a coffee and cake!

I’ve brought from cakes a daisy a few times and family members have had birthday cakes from there. There cakes are lovely and high recommend and I can’t wait to visit when lockdown is over.I had a minor issue with delivery via APC, which I emailed and was this was rectified straight away by Milly and her b letting me know what was going on. Customer service was also 5*.

I couldn't recommend this shop enough. When they were open, I could take my kids there for a treat, meet friends for a catch up over cake and every time, it was a fantastic experience. My youngest even screamed in delight once when he saw his milkshake coming. Once good old covid hit, Milly and her team went above and beyond to keep the service going. She's constantly keeping her customers updated, she offers them chance to put ideas forward for the counter, she offers the chance for people to reserve items beforehand if they can't make it when the shop opens. She even offered her own recipes before the shop reopened for Saturday counter. How many small baker's do that?Her treats are generously priced, I wouldn't say expensive at all for the size you receive. The girls are always so happy and nothing seems a bother to them. They're always happy to have a chat, talk to the children, make time for every customer even when it's busy.They've all got families, Milly especially is running this business and being a mum so yes, she has a human reaction and gets stressed. But then she sings to you all or opens with a "hey goys". I've never seen a more interactive shop over social media, there's constant updates and it's amazing. Food is amazing, girls are amazing, 10/10 recommend just, be careful...you'll gain a dress size!

I’ve been to Cakes-a-daisy on many occasions since the shop first opened, everytime the staff are friendly and accommodating they go out of their way to make sure that it’s a really enjoyable visit.The cake!!!! What can I say they are amazing always, I can guarantee, you will know what you are ordering when you walk in and will come out with more than anticipated because the decision is just to difficult to make when they all look so incredible. Millie also made my wedding cakes, before my wedding got to the end of the night the cake was gone I mean every bit, everyone complimented on how amazing they were. I don’t know what’s wrong with people these days! I have ordered from Milly for the past couple of years with absolutely no problems. So because she owns a business you can’t use your social platform to explain how you’re feeling? I for one have struggled over the past 12 months with my mental health, like I’m sure many others have, and seeing Milly’s posts makes me feel like I’m not alone. Everybody likes to express their “perfect” lives on social media and it’s refreshing to see someone like Milly actually being transparent and a genuine person like the rest of us.Anyway....enough of that! Her cakes on the other hand are to die for always lots of choice and every time I go in the staff are always friendly! Your biscoff millionaires are my personal favourite Milly has made cakes for my sisters 40th and moms 60th, the latter which I picked up on Saturday. My mom absolutely loved it and her cakes are always so light and packed with decorations! Don’t stop being you, that’s what makes your cakes so special

I have ordered postal, been to the shop and queued on a Saturday, ordered for collection on Saturdays and placed orders for birthday cakes and celebration slabs. Cakes always taste amazing! Service is always fantastic. Price is really reasonable.. especially for birthday cakes. Every time I have phoned or messaged, I always get a polite response. Amazing! If you haven’t tried anything from here then you need to!

I ordered the signature box from the website for collection (I think they’re for delivery only) Millie went above and beyond to make sure that I was able to collect the box, even though it was my fault! (Covid save) Brilliant communication by email and phone, very friendly.Best cakes around! Bakewell slice are delicious. If you can get to Cakes-a-Daisy do so you will not be disappointed.

I have visited the shop pre covid but during covid I have received a delivery from an online order, collected an order from an online order and have also been able to order for a future event the staff are always friendly and helpful! On a weekend when the shop is open the Instagram page shows what is on the counter days in advance and is always updated (whilst they are busy) to let people know what they have left! Amazing friendly ladies! Can’t wait for my next order.

Absolutely amazing. The owner is authentic, honest and true to herself. Her cakes are A-mazzzzing! We travel from Stafford at least once a month to treat ourselves! Personally, I don’t understand the negative reviews about ‘ranting’ or being rude. 100% would recommend.

After ordering postage I decided to visit on Saturday counter amazing cakes as before like my parcel but I have to agree the owner comes across very demanding arrogant. Like tells customers not contact on certain days good job cakes are good tho but she needs a holiday after watching Instagram.

Cookie dough is UNREAL, everytime it is online always order and never had a problem. A weekly/monthly cookie dough box would be amazing 😍😍😍

Cakes-a-daisy's cakes and bakes are incredible! Always are! Never had an problems and I've been a repeat customer since Milly opened the store!Having made cakes myself previously I understand how stressful and how much time, effort and hard work goes into making just one cake let alone the amount everyone at cakes-a-daisy make everyday! I also understand that, given the current pandemic, they are working tirelessly to try and provide for as many as possible. Working with the general public is very tasking currently as it seems no matter what you do people just want to complain. If I want cakes I understand I might have to call 10 times to get through but I get it, THEY ARE BUSY! Milly is running a small local business and they are not available at everyone's beckon call 24/7. Stop treating small businesses like Tesco! They do not have hundreds of staff on hand 24/7 to answer every call or reply to every message instantaneously! You are receiving a very personal service, your food is made with love and care! Not factory produced. Everyone is preaching about "being kind" but currently no one is being kind! Just be patient with them! Personally I love when Milly posts on social media because quite frankly, a lot of the complaints are just downright silly! Everything these girls make is fantastic, the proof is in the pudding (pun intended!) People queue out the door and down the street in any weather because they are that good! Unfortunately manning social media and emails is a full time job in itself, they make it clear not to try to order via social media, pick up the phone! Reserve and order what you want! Be prepared that they do run out of stock, THEY ARE NOT MASS PRODUCED Well done ladies, you all do a fantastic job! Keep up the amazing work and hopefully normality will resume! And remember, when you read negative reviews just think of all the times you yourself have had fantastic service? Did you write a positive review? Most likely not... but If you have had a negative experience, you are far more likely to complain about the bad than praise the good, that is something we as the British public are very good at - moaning!

Through lockdown, we have been ordering online (look out on C-A-D facebook for when you can order!) and they have always arrived the next day, as stated. Cakes are well packed and dont get smashed about in their box which is great. Only a small amount of plastic used too, which is great as the rest can be recycled.The cakes are delicious, hands down the best we have tried and the cookiedough is perfect. Well worth the price.The shop is always well stocked and updates are available on social media as to what is for sale and stock availability go avoid disappointment. A well run business!

I have had several cakes from cakes a daisy and I have to say they are simply the best. I ordered a Valentines Day box and no fault on Millies part, the box was not delivered by the courier company. I sent an email to Millie and she called back so apologetic. She then drove a box over to my house. Way beyond what she needed to do. I have nothing but good things to say about her and her cakes. She is a small business trying to survive in unprecedented times and she is doing an amazing job. I would recommend her cakes to anyone. Visited cakes a daisy as I'd been meaning to go for a while and I love local. Was greeted and advised where I could stand in line with social distancing. Hand gels available to use. Only 1 other customer in shop. Was served by the lovely Milly. She was very friendly and professional and thanked me for my custom. Got home ate my cookie dough and it was amazing! So much there i had to share it with my 3 year old and normally I hide away . My partner had a bromine stack and he said it was really nice too! Will be revisiting and would recommend

I have been to cakes a daisy a few times, I had there Christmas afternoon tea a few years ago and was so lovely and staff (I think it was the mum) was so nice! We have been a few times recently and some cakes we’ve had have been quite dry and I find quite expensive at times I understand your paying for the experience and time but some cakes can’t be justified. Also it would be nice for some cakes to have fresh cream insteadOf buttercream all the time. Some staff have appeared quite rude and impatient but it’s understandable in the current climate things are difficult for everyone. I’m 50/50 we have had lovely cakes and lovely experiences but sometimes it’s hit and miss.

Honestly the most amazing cakes I have ever tried, the cake our decorated so lovely and you can see the time and effort that goes in to themthe staff our so friendly and welcoming. When ordering my birthday cake over the phone Milly was so helpful and so honest! She told me to go for the small option as it sounded like it suited me best, I know a lot of place would of tried to of sold me a larger one so they are making more money, loved the honesty, I won't be going anywhere else for our celebration cakes. :)

I ordered a cake for my partners birthday off the website. I accidentally put the wrong date in for collection. I emailed to explain this and I had a quick response to say that was absolutely fine.When I got to the shop to collect my little boy had fell asleep so didn't have hands free to carry the cake. They said to save waking him they would bring the cake to my car. Nothing was to much trouble. The cake was decorated beautifully and just what I had asked for. The cake tasted amazing and the service was fantastic.I would highly recommend and will definitely be back and order again.Thank you. X

I ordered a blondie/ brownie box online for next day postal delivery and they did not disappoint! My boyfriend and I thoroughly enjoyed every last mouthful! Every Saturday I debate coming to the shop for a cookie dough pie but I'd be there every week . Postal delivery was also very prompt, my order was delivered at 9am the next day. The products were well wrapped and very fresh. I would most definitely recommend! I must also add...I'm not normally one to write reviews but as I've scrolled through a few of these I've noticed most lower rated reviews are concerning stock availability and prices etc which in the current climate business owners are desperately trying to keep their businesses afloat so it concerns me that people are taking to social media and TripAdvisor to write a bad review about a small business trying to earn a living? If your issue is with stock availability there is a reservation service or you can queue early in the morning before they open. I don't really think that the stock availability is their issue if you're arriving near closing time? They're items are baked for that day, why would they waste time and money on supplying lot's of stock that may not sell? Personally I don't think their prices are that high either as the portion sizes are very generous. If you're ordering online for next day delivery then there is obviously going to be a higher charge for postage. Makes sense in my head anyway Well done I think you're doing a great job!

Iv followed cakes a daisy on social media for a long time but never been able to visit as abit too far away for me to travel. I was amazed as we was in lockdown and Millie decided to do postal drops for me that was amazing as it gave me a chance to finally try her amazing brownies. As stated I follow the shop on social media and every Weekend Millie has the shop open on Saturdays for takeaway service and always without fail she keeps people up to date with what is available. I must say her brownies are the best and get cakes always look amazing.

I have ordered from cakes-a-daisy on a few different occasions and have visited the shop on Saturdays on several occasions over the last year too. The large birthday cake she made for me was amazing, the large cookie and cupcakes I had for Valentine’s Day were also delicious and not forgetting the Mother’s Day cupcakes I had just last weekend. Every time I have visited the shop I have always felt welcomed and never had a bad experience while there. Staff are friendly and helpful. I generally keep an eye on social media about what will be on the Saturday counter and then phone up to reserve and collect later in the day. I have had two postals and a counter collection. Her brownies/blondies are to die for and they don’t last long in my house. I even have to hide them from my kids and hubby. Even attempted making my own Oreo brownies by following her IGTV method and they were amazing. I enjoy watching her Instagram stories daily and seeing the products she makes. Once everything is running back to normal I will visit your cake shop and bring my friends along. Keep doing what your doing and ignore the negative reviews xx

This business is amazing!!! I love the products, I always manage to get an order when they do stock drops. If I ever have any questions I always get a reply. I even get extra goodies sometimes in the post, which I love so thank you so much, I honestly can’t shout about this company enough! You really do stand out from the crowd, your products are one of the kind!! They cater for every need xxx

I’ve used cakes-a-daisey several times now over the past couple of years to order cakes and the service I’ve received is always first class, I can’t fault any staff member that I’ve come into contact with and the cakes are always AMAZING!! Milly’s now providing a postal service due to covid and also a take away service on a Saturday. She really does go above n beyond to please all of her customers by continually asking what we’d like to be on the weekly menu-that’s what you call service to me. I can’t wait for the shop to be open again properly so that we’re actually able to sit in again and enjoy the service properly! Keep up the good work Milly, you’re doing a fantastic job.

We started going to the shop in the second lockdown, staff were always friendly and ques went down quickly. We ordered my brothers 21st birthday cake during Black Friday offer and we’re unsure on dates as his birthday is New Year’s Day but when I went in the following weekend Milly was so lovely and helpful! Your cakes are amazing! Can’t wait for lockdown to be over and sit in the shop x

I have been buying products from cakes a daisy since I moved to the area 5 years ago and I only have good things to say about this lovely shop. I probably go once a month for one reason or another, I don’t need a big excuse to go, any excuse will do! I have bought birthday cakes, valentines gifts, brownie slabs and before lockdown I visited for afternoon tea several times. I also used to take my little one to a playgroup where all the cakes were supplied by cakes a daisy. The social media content from this business is informative and (if you actually read properly) you can find out everything you need to know from the highlights. I have never had any problems with ordering (except if it was my own error and even then they were lovely and sorted it for me) and I have never had any problem with contacting them during the hours that are clearly stated they are able to be contacted within. The boss of this business has 2 children and a life alongside her business which (despite what she may say) looks likes she manages brilliantly. Her staff are gorgeous and are always friendly and work really hard. But most of all the cakes/brownies/cookies and ALL of the other goodies on sale are delicious!! No one is perfect, but who wants to be perfect, it’s BORING. So get down on a Saturday (during lockdown) and support this amazing business because it’s nice to be nice!

Been coming here since it opened always enjoy eating in with friends and family , redvelet cake and cookie dough pie is to die for, since the pandemic hit I have visited for takeaways on Saturdays every few weeks and had postal orders a few times in the first lockdown . Always fantastic yummy cakes and never had an issues , staff are friendly and helpful even had a fre hot drink back in march 2020 when I mentioned I was a nurse whilst piddling up some cookie dough pie and brownies for the kids. I had a private function booked for April 2020 which has had to be put back but owner had been very helpful and has been very accomodating with rescheduling and offering to refund our deposits if she isn't able to accommodate us nearer the time , always had a friendly and helpful response from her this lady is a mom and doing her best to keep her business going and staff employed in the hardest of times. Try what yummy goods she has on offer and you will see for yourself and won't be disappointed .

Ordered some delicious pastries, homemade sausage roll and pesto and tomato pastry made by momma cakes a daisy. They were absolutely delicious. I also ordered some cookie dough pie which was to die for. I absolutely love Millie. She is so helpful and friendly. We can't wait till the shop opens again so we can sit in and eat the famous afternoon tea. I would recommend everyone to go and try because you won't resist.

I have been a customer of Cakes-a-daisy for many years, I try and get over for my weekend fix every week or as often as I can. I can honestly say the girls in here are always so professional, polite, friendly and always go above above and beyond for their customers. Milly the owner is such a beautiful soul and I honestly cannot fathom any of the negative comments on here as in all my years I have NEVER experienced anything of the comments I have seen on here. The girls always update on the stock during the weekend via the social media platforms, we get updated on what the que is like and have numerous updates on when the online stock will go live. For the people saying there isn't enough to reach the end of the day there is only so much they can possibly make to try their best to see it through all day, its a business at the end of the day of course they will try their hardest to make as much as humanly possible for the sales its not a personal vendetta against anyone!! The cakes and bakes are amazing, they are all made fresh for the days they are open and everything in the weekly stock drops arrive in the post perfectly and as fresh as they day they were made. It's fast and easy to make a cake order for a celebration and they always go above and beyond anything you could imagine. I will continue enjoying my weekend treats and I honestly really look forward to seeing all their smiling faces on a Saturday! Keep up the amazing work Milly and Co, I for one would be lost without you all and please don't change the way you interact with us all on your posts ❤

Milly has gone above and beyond this past year to develop her business and make it work through the pandemic! As I can only imagine this would of been hard work to completly adapt but it's been lovely to watch Milly not only expand her skills but to grow the business in ways that maybe wouldn't of happened if it wasn't for lockdown. We've collected items on Saturdays and had deliveries via APC both avenues are of really high standard. Always posts on social media ways of contact, stock that's left and what is dropping on the website and what time. She deserves every success and following. Cakes-A-Daisy is one of the best bakeries in the Midlands!! The owner is helpful kind and welcoming and nothing is too much bother for her. The weekly Saturday counter is the stuff of absolute dreams filled with everything and anything. The shop is well organised and safely run given Covid-19 and the owner does everything in her bath to alleviate any anxieties and support her customers. If you are looking for the scrummiest of baked goods visit Cakes-A-Daisy!!!

During the lockdowns I have had many postal boxes and left over stock from cakes a daisy which have all been fantastic. They are well packaged and quick delivery iv even had extra stuff put in which is very nice. Milly does the most crazy flavours you can imagine and they are well worth the price some of the stacks and tray bakes are huge. We are too far to visit so I'm greatful to be able to get some goodies via post. Milly always keeps her social media updated on when stock is available and what she will have in-store on a Saturday along with prices. She's also updated when things have sold out on Saturday which iv never know places to do. She has so many videos and posts about how things work, where to park ect which is fantastic and very helpful. Milly is doing fantastic juggling the shop and being a mum. Being a mum of 3 myself I know it's not easy. I will definitely be getting more goodies when she next does a postal drop.

Amazing brownies and blondies! I've only had postal orders due to lockdown restrictions but will be popping over as soon as Boris allows us to!Just to add the way this business has adapted over the last 12 months. The owner always asks for suggestions for the counter, always posts available now items and takes genuine feedback on board! Gutted we don't live closer so we can get cake more often x

Cakes are absolutely insanely good! Milly and the team ALWAYS help and always keep social media up to date even when they get ridiculously busy of a weekend! (Which shows how great the cakes&service are!!) even if theres anything left, socials always updated with a online shop upload and posted out SO quickly!!! Have been going there for months now and NEVER once had a problem! ALL the team are amazing!!!!

So I don’t usually bother with reviews, but today I noticed Milly having some grief from other cretins & thought I’d put the world to rights again! So I ordered a cookie box for collection a couple of weeks back. Oh my lord- heavenly! The creme egg baked cookie bar & Nutella cookie dough slab thing was my absolute fav. Definitely polished off the whole box myself though. Milly was ace, she replied to my IG message (despite me being well aware she may not as she’s made it perfectly clear in the past they don’t always respond on the socials) & she gave me a time I could collect from the store within minutes of me asking. She’s always super friendly and bubbly. Keeps all her customers in the loop regarding stock and uploads to the website (usually a Monday at 9.30am). She’s always super honest and will let people know when she’s doing admin and likely to respond to emails. Cakes a daisy is a wonder, and the bakes are to die for! She’s doing a great job during this pandemic. Kudos

My first visit was when they celebrated 20k Followers due to working weekends. I totally disagree with the recent reviews, all of the staff including a little girl greeted me politely and made me feel very welcome collecting my order considering how busy it was! Everything run fantastically due to the current circumstances and was more than happy with the service! I have since been back and enjoyed some lovely cakes and doughnut collab ! I absolutely love and would 100% recommend!

I unfortunately have never had a cake from here, but all my friends have always said how fabulous the cakes are. I ordered a cake for my Mom and Dads 50th wedding anniversary. Unfortunately this was March 2020 and lockdown happened. Instead of keeping my deposit they called and asked if I wished to have it back, I did have it returned. I will in the future book again when all of this is over. Thanks to everyone for their great communication. I wish you all the best for the future xx

Came to collect a cake I ordered back in the jan sales, first time collecting from the shop and the owner was very professional and had my order ready to collect. Can honestly say it was the best cake I’ve ever ate and the fillings and toppings were jam packed super happy with your service and always service with a smile :)

Most welcoming shop, owner is productive with showing stock on social media. She shows real life as a business owner/single mom and her work and cakes reflect nothing other than hard work and dedication to her love for baking. When the shops open for seating in, its always calm and welcoming. Saturday she updates regularly to say what stocks left and the amount of people on her stories so happy to get their cakes is testament to how good her cake is! Milly yours an amazing business owner and even better cake maker. I had a friend at end if life care whom had specific dietary requirements and although it was pretty last minute she was so specific in making sure the afternoon tea was suitable with no issues about changing it all around and was so approachable to ask for these changes. She is always really approachable when it comes to customer requirements.100% recommend visiting and they have a lovely garden area for when the sunshine arrives and we are allowed out again!

I have to agree with all the negative reviews about attitude and customer service it is completely ruining what is a great business. The cakes are fantastic but I just feel the unprofessional ranting on social media by the owner is just ruining it and quite frankly I don’t want to spend my money there anymore. People are entitled to voice a structured negative opinion without being ranted about on social media. Customer service is shocking what business in 2021 doesn’t reply to messages on social media ! I totally understand they are busy so employ someone to do admin ! It is so frustrating when communication isn’t consistent which it isn’t from them such a shame. Please be more professional and more organised

Ordered an afternoon tea last weekend and whilst myself and my daughter really enjoyed it, we were slightly disappointed to see that the cupcakes were missing. On the website and on pictures, the afternoon tea box is marketed with a cupcake, therefore it is slightly disappointing to pay £20 to not receive every element. I wasn't angry but I felt the need to express my concern to Cakes A Daisy, which I did rather politely. She then came back and said to come back to the shop the following weekend for a box of cupcakes free of charge, to which I then expressed my thanks and appreciation for. All was good until I went to the shop today and the cupcakes weren't prepared and ready for me to collect, as apparently I didn't respond to the offer. I explained that I had replied and even read out the text message but from that point onwards I felt as if the tone had changed and the attitude from the lady became rather defensive, almost as if I was an inconvenience and in the wrong. Comments like 'I didn't think you were coming' and 'you didn't reply to my message' were remarked repeatedly. Of course my tone had changed due to the disappointment of making a special journey, to a shop that isn't local, to not receive what I was promised; it was very disheartening. Other sarcastic comments like 'I've said I'm sorry haven't I' were also made. It was all extremely awkward. At the end of the day, I was the one that was inconvenienced by getting an afternoon tea with an element missing, I then had to make a second trip over to collect my complimentary cupcakes for them not to be there. Furthermore, it was very silent and awkward in the shop, as previously stated, the lady was really defensive and made off comments/ excuses rather than just saying 'I'm really sorry I completely forgot'. To be fair, though, I did come away with 2 cupcakes and some traybake but nevertheless this was just put together last minute to shut me up it felt, they weren't specially prepared ready for me to collect, just a case of 'winging it' I would say. Not taking away from the gesture, I appreciate the complimentary items I received in the end, I just don't appreciate feeling uncomfortable in a situation which should have been fairly straightforward.There was people behind the counter and people in the queue and I just felt a bit stupid trying to protest something when the text message was there in black and white. Felt like an inconvenience and trouble for going to collect something which I was quite clearly offered to make up for another mistake. This could have made up for the afternoon tea mistake but has instead made me even less likely to return to Cakes A Daisy in the future. All that was needed was an apology, not a tense exchange in front of everyone.Even if the woman (I apologise, I don't know her name) didn't notice my reply to her message, she should surely still have some cupcakes on standby just in case. Felt like she was hoping I'd forget.I also appreciate that times are difficult right now and this business might be rather busy, but please treat me with a bit of respect and don't insult my intelligence, if I said that I've send a text message then that's that, don't argue about something that is rather evident.Also, just like to add, my daughter had organised the afternoon tea as a birthday surprise so she was extremely disappointed as well.Food is great and I would recommend but the customer service needs improving, in my opinion. What happened to the customer always being right?

Having been so excited to visit Cakes-A-Daisy from following all through lockdown and ordering multiple postal boxes, I was a little disappointed with the service when I was in the shop. The lady who served me was a little rude and made me feel like I was inconveniencing her by being there. It's difficult to hear over the counter when the staff are behind a screen (which affects lip reading due to reflections on the screens) and there are other people in there talking loudly, so when asking for something I misheard after apologising that I couldn't hear properly to be told "thats what I just said" seemed a little bit of a stand-offish way to respond to a customer. I'd hate for this to be a common thing to put customers off returning because I support Milly and her positivity. (Just to add there wasn't a huge queue waiting either, there was approximately 2 people behind me when I came in).

Ordered a mixed box online which cost £18 plus 4.50 delivery so 22.50 in total! The box contained 4 v small slices of brownie/cookie bar. That’s 4.50 per slice of cake each! That is just shocking for the size of them. I won’t be purchasing again sorry. Other bakeries I have on Facebook offer a postal service for much less! £13 for the same product including delivery. Surely others must feel the same way! 22.50 for 4 small slices of cake. You can get a good 3 course meal for that.

Absolutely love this cake shop. I’ve never sat in but I have bought plenty from here. From ordering cakes, tray bakes to picking counter cakes for a weekend treat. Staff are always super friendly and the food is amazing! Would always recommend.

I've visited Cakes a Daisy various times over the years it's been open and have always been very happy with the quality and service. This review however is with regards to a one off Covid delivery special the shop organised back in March. I came down with suspected coronavirus in March and was in bed for a good two weeks. I saw Milly advertise that she was going to be doing socially distant doorstep drops for people who couldn't make it out during this time, so I rang up and ordered myself a blonde tray. The girl in the shop couldn't have been kinder (especially since she could barely hear me as I'd lost my voice!) and Milly personally delivered the goodies to my door. They didn't have to offer this service, but it made a pretty sad poorly gal very happy. The blondie was ridiculously good - I was still eating it 5 days later and the quality was still banging even then! Thanks for the, as always, amazing service and food! X

Always use Cakes a daisy when we can and absolutely love all of the products they do. When there is a "Drop" to order online i do think it is a tad expensive for nearly £19 for 4 brownies but other than that cannot complain about the service, staff or products. Regular Customers.
