The best restaurants serving British food in West Midlands

Well done to Toby what a pleasant lad nothing too much trouble . Friendly kind caring manner from two ladies very much in need of a smile a bit of banter and lovely food . We will definitely return 😌

Had abit of a mixup on the order but phoned the restaurant and they sent me what i did order if im honest im shocked they did being as it was so close to closing time excellent service

Never had a problem, always good service. This was true with the owners at that point. I went in a few months ago, I guessed by the fact that there were quite a few people waiting for food that it was under new management. The wait was about 10 minutes, I think it was a Friday and they were completely unprepared, disorganised and were not communicating with each other like a team should. When one customer finally got his food he said as he was leaving "You've just lost a customer." Subsequent visits, they seemed a little better. Tonight, it was not busy at all. I ordered my food and paid. The dude went back to finishing another customer's order who arrived to pick up about a minute after I did. The customer got her order and left. I expected him to start mine, nope, he grabbed a skewer with meat on out of the thing with the holes and went in to the kitchen and returned with it in a bowl. While this was going on his colleague returned from a delivery and proceeded to grab her drink and something to eat, there was a little bit of conversation, I'm guessing about what he was doing and what I was waiting for. She then asked me did I want sauce and salad on burger? To which I said yes. I had to remind her about the Cheese and she forgot to offer me Salt and Vinegar. But then again so did I. Soon after I got my order and left. I was there for about ten minutes. The dude looked like he was in no hurry at all. He looked over at me at one point I guess to make sure I was still there, and did say it would be another few minutes. They need to be faster, be better organised and prioritise better. Deal with the customers in the shop first, they're your main priority, your bread and butter then deal with the delivery orders. In the time I took them to complete my order a snail could've successfully made it across the road.

Really enjoyed the breakfast, lovely fresh ingredients and well presented. The staff were very friendly and efficient despite it being very busy. Lovely setting, nice location.

Been stood here for about 10 mins whilst writing this review currently watching not one but three members of staff completely ignore me. Didn't even get a "I'll just be two seconds" just completely blanked :)

Great place for family to visit for food and soft play. Soft play area very clean and team are welcoming both of our children had an amazing time

miserable staff behind the counter and the prices are ridiculously expensive, £4.95 I just walked out, use to be my regular stop and I would also purchase extra ad ons, sorry, but if their overheads are getting expensive they should just close down as no one will pay these sort of rates for an average pasty shop

Although there was an issue with the card machine, this was luckily working when we ordered and I'm glad we stayed as we had an excellent breakfast and probably the best pint of Abbott Ale which I've had including Greene King pubs here it's usually mediocre. Brilliant visit to this Wetherspoons on this occasion.

A warm and welcoming pub, fantastic food quality, we had an evening meal and full English here. The bar atmosphere is great & there is a lovely beer garden with stunning views, we enjoyed the selection of well kept beers on offer. We stayed for 2 nights, the room was so comfortable, clean, well set out and met all our needs. This is a perfect location for for walks into the hills, the 3 counties show ground, and all things Malvern. We hope to visit again this year.

Visited this pub today for the first time in quite a long time as the food had become somewhat expensive. We were initially surprised to find a revised menu since our last visit, with prices much more competitive, so we decided to order lunch. We were somewhat dismayed however, when on asking to swap peas for baked beans on one fish and chip meal, we were told that “beans will be £1 extra”. Given that beans are already available as they do breakfast pretty much all day so don't have to open anything especially, and we weren’t adding an extra ingredient, merely swapping one for another, this appears pure profiteering. No pub we visit ever charges us extra when we make the same request with them. Rather than waste the peas we ordered the dish without them even though it was tempting to take the dish as it came and just leave them on the plate to be thrown away. The meals were adequate, befitting of the price, but weren’t the greatest; the chips on my meal in particular looked like the bits left at the bottom of the pack, with few measuring more than 1" in length. But with such a petty attitude we probably won’t visit again any time soon.

Poor meal,overcooked and dry chicken,supposed to be filled with brie but it was so overcooked the cheese had all but disappeared! Roast potatoes were rock hard and veg was tasteless! Certainly cant recommend eating at this place.On a lighter note the pub was nice and warm and the staff quite good.

Had some drinks with my friends, was served by Lauren at the bar and she was lovely, friends had fun too, definitely coming back 👍

Great value food. Home made, freshly cooked and really tasty. Service was friendly, quick and efficient. Would recommend
