Great place to grab a snack, great pasties, love the one with Stilton in, so fragrant and a good strong cheese used. Love the cake treats as well. Always friendly staff

Pasties are good although sometimes a bit overdone, service not the best though can be pretty pushy and rarely acknowledge with a hi or good morning

The food was OK, it fitted the moment. I'm not sure it was the best ever, but outside of Cornwall, it was OK.

Guy serving was rude. Pizza was labeled up incorrectly (big food hygiene no no) and when attempting to point this out was dismissed by the male serving. Female then corrected signs. Food was poor (it's usually better then Gregs) all cold and nothing seemed freshly cooked

Come here almost everyday for the traditional cornish pasty. Delicious 10/10 one of the best pasties I’ve ever had. Can’t have enough

Very rude man behind the counter. Didn’t smile, spoke to us like he didn’t want any customers at all. The pasty and sausage roll we bought were just about ok, but I wouldn’t buy another one. Quite tasteless and cold.

My husband is currently suffering from food poisoning after eating a chicken tikka baguette purchased here on Saturday. He said it had been warmed up, but was not hot.

Really poor service, slow, rude and got my order wrong. Returned home to find my jalfrezi slices were cheese and onion. Won't bother to return.

I found that the man who served me was the most rudest I have ever experienced, there was not a thank you or please. When I paid he said go outside and we will bring the coffee to you. Ok it's a small shop. It's just the way he shoved my pasty out of the way in other words go out, the pasty was extremely cold, I will not go in there again. Just horrible and disgusting attitude towards clients

The staff were not very attentive when I called in. The beef and Stilton pasty was quite good though it could have done with being a bit warmer.

I took my Irish partner here whilst we were visiting from Australia for a REAL Cornish pasty and he rated it a 10/10. I have been and tasted many items from here when I visit family in the uk and have found the food amazing. I used to live in Cornwall so know what a REAL Cornish pasty should taste like.

The pasties are good, maybe not quite the best in the world, as the sign says, but pretty close.

Sadly, (as they looked great) the doughnut was very stale and the meringue was solid and collapsed into a mass of powder. My meringue obsessed husband compared it to a superb meringue in Loule, Portugal and gave it -1. If you're ever in Loule try Pastellaria Charlotte, the cakes are always fresh.

Ordered through just eat, took ages. Food eventually arrived, and was burnt, if there holding food to keep warn at least send it out in an acceptable way not burnt. I blame both just eat and the venue, I won't be using again.

Rude staff! No eye contact, no please or thank you. They didn’t even acknowledge that my payment had gone through, he just walked away from the counter.

Had a Traditional Cornish Steak Pasty, and it was perfect. Great amount of steak and some pepper, and pastry was tender. Delish Also lovely service.

Just round the corner from Greggs which had a massive queue outside at the time and I am now really wondering why there is not an even longer queue outside of this shop! The pasty was great, I had the chicken bacon and chorizo one however there were so much more to chose from. The staff were kind, it was reasonably priced especially when compared to other pasty shops and it was quick and easy for such a delicious meal. Why go anywhere else?!

People comparing this place to Greggs have smoked one too many Marlborough lights. This is my favourite pasty shop outside of Cornwall. Well worth the money.

The Vegan sausage rolls are great (I estimate I've had over 200 of them). The staff are friendly and always working hard so there is never much of a wait.

Expensive pastries, not much meat to be seen

Always a good range of sandwiches and pastys choose from at good prices.

I would give them 3.5/5 the pasties are ok, decent amount of meat but they are way overpriced imo, I like the fact they got this shop in Weymouth too I go there visiting friends & sometimes buy from there as well, it's a shame the other bakery closed down a few years ago in Worcester opposite the old Argos, but they were only charging £1 a pastie probably why 🤷‍♀️ *Update - now £4.25 for a basic pasty, won't be buying from here again I could have a meal at wetherspoons for another £1

I purchased 2 large steak and ale pasties at the Worcester bakery they looked so appetising I love cornish pasties but we were so disappointed it was just mainly potatoes not much meat and dry as can be with hardly any taste surely a mistake was made in the preparation of these I would not recommend them at all not worthy of the cornish name

Slow service, rude staff and dreadful coffee and not a full cup very disappointing

Went into shop and said to family they have more in here not knowing there the same as in window and server said behind counter sarcastically there all same so I ordered 3 and asked if I could buy a box to put them in as it’s very hot today and are driving back to codsall and would keep them cooler longer and he replied there only for big orders so asked if he could wrap them in foil he point blank said no so I said your not being very helpful his reply was no I’m not .what a very rude (SERVER)) and his co worker laughing I hope your company reads this and it’s all on your camera for them to see my son-in-law couldn’t believe the way they spoke to me ( will be ringing to speak to company owners

WOW everytime I'm in town. Just taste for yourself well worth it.

Service is awful. It’s not the customer fault that you hate your life because you’re working on a bank holiday. Also, the pastries are overrated.

The food is great here and the staff are friendly, I hadn't got a baguette in a long time and the member of staff who served me remembered what I had the last time I had ordered one.

A good selection of pasties, I had a "beef & Stilton" very very tasty.

This place offers decent pastries but not as good as they say to be, to be honest Greggs won’t be any worse than this place in term of taste and the three stars is that they don’t even warm it up for you when I came at a time where majority of it is gone, but this place offer authenticity that the person serving you(that served me)has what seems like Cornish accent and had a friendly attitude(like when I forgot my student ID he still offered me a student discount)

The traditional meat and veg pasties are mass produced junk ! If I was a cornish tin miner or farm worker and was given one of those to take to work, my other half would be in the divorce courts. I can only assume that 5 star reviewers on here have never had a tradional hand made pasty from a proper cornish pie shop. These have dreadful pastry, very little flavour, and mine was sold to me almost cold. Rubbish is the best word I can find for these I've made a note NEVER to buy from one of their numerous, 'overnight delivery by truck', outlets ever again .

MrDW had a large sos roll, I had the small, he had the meringue, whilst I had a chocolate Brownie. This was wonderful for a snack, & more than adequate. Good prices for quality bakery, all bagged & boxed up nicely, & we only paid just over a fiver. Really friendly staff too. Highly recommend!!!

Smells and looks great but thought it was an average luke warm Cornish pasty. Ordered the medium and got charged for a large! Probably a honest mistake and it was quickly corrected but think I’ll pass next time :(

Cornish pasty was ok. Nothing special and only luke warm. Salad box was small and limited in variety.

It's a shame that most of the pasties we got were either just a little warm or actually cold as they would probably have been tasty otherwise. Looking at other reviews it looks like we were unlucky but I'd be unlikely to try them again.

Its ok for what it is but not really something to shout about i was expecting something a bit special but its just average..a bit more expensive than Greggs so not much in it.

Superb pasties and sausage rolls available here. Vegan pasty and vegan sausage rolls are just awesome. They do a range of meat pasties such as lamb and mint. As a non meat eater I cannot remember them all. Shop always well attended with customers. Well worth going to when in Worcester.

The queue outside gives the game away. If you want a quality product Get to the back of the queue.

Went to buy a cornish pasty to trat myself for the day, after taking one bite i was quick to realise i was not given what I asked for at all. Completely disappointed and an utter waste of my money.

I ordered the lamb and mint pasty,the worst pasty I've ever eaten, would of been delighted if I had ordered a potato pasty as that's all that was in it.I would of been better off eating a Ginsters pasty,the only thing these pastys have in common with proper pastys from Cornwall is the price,disgrace.

Glad to find they have reopened. This place delivers what it says on the sign. Nice pasties and a few sweets for a light lunch. Restricted entry re covid you may have to Que outside but no real hardship

Can't Knock the food, all the staff are lovely, except for the extremely rude gentleman with the tattoo sleeve on his arm, I purposely don't go in there when he's working, because I feel like being treated as a human being that day. Again food is excellent and all the other staff are fantastic

Our family used to love the veggie sausage rolls, so much so that I used to take a few batches up to Scotland. Now the recipe has been changed to vegan, it's just not the same, so I don't go there very often any more 😥

Normally pretty good for traditional pasties, but had their Turkey and Cranberry pasty today......big mistake as it has the consistency of mashed potato throughout with the same taste. No meat, no cranberry berries???? Whoever chose this recipe needs to go back to basics, starting with putting some ingredients in? I assume it was all blended into one tasteless mush?....but it's anyone's guess. Real disappointing and would have returned them if I was still in Worcester, but as it was we had to "chuck" them (excuse the pun). Do better...a festive treat is was not!

Lovely selection of pasties and fresh rolls or sandwiches made to order. I had a Brie and cranberry sandwich made with lovely fresh bread.

Amazing food and great customer service

I visit this store whenever I am in Worcester shopping, sadly only for or five times a year. On every visit the food I purchased has been tasty and well cooked and the staff have always been friendly and helpful, of course I suppose this depends on how you approach them. I would heartily recommend this shop to anyone

Wife insisted on trying a pasty as never experienced them before in her life. Does not intend a repeat performance - just not for us I am afraid.

Whilst visiting the city centre during lunch at the cricket we discovered this fantastic little shop. I had a Jalfrazi (sp) pasty and my wife a traditional pasty, both of which were plentiful and delicious

Absolutely furious. Spent over £6 on 2 pasties. The assistant was sarcastic and full of himself. We have just tried to eat cheese and mushroom pasty only to discover they contain meat. Not good for veggies. We dared to ask him a question about the cheese and mushroom and feel he gave us the meat one because we questioned about the content of the pasty. I'm really really annoyed. I expect better. We were visiting our daughter in Worcester and will live over 50 mile away so impossible to take back. Bakehouse please free to contact me to describe the assistant as I'm sure he could benefit from further training. Not an happy customer at all
