Rose Avenue Fryer in Worcester

Just been there for a tray of dried up chicken meat cost of £8.50 which was totally inedible,disgusting food stay away thrown straight in the bin.will definitely not be going there again

This chippy is poor. The fish is discusting and soggy. They don’t grill the burgers but fry them. Well over priced for the food. Don’t recommend

Not sure what the other reviews are about. But, the staff tonight were plenty and very polite. The portions are just right for the price. Glad to finally get back to this place since reopening.

Really bad customer service ,staff seems really racist , and most of time only one staff member at front (male) doesn’t not speak English really well ,we always have problem to oder easch time we viste ,, even some of my friends said same ,, Owner need to give a think about this matter, otherwise there are another chippies doing great ,

It was ok, wouldn't have ot again

I only get chips at the chippy, so as far as they go, their portions are very generous and not greasy or undercooked like other places. Me and my boyfriend can share a regular between us. Value for money and friendly staff.

Went to get chips as a treat for my sons 9th birthday tea, placed my order paid then realised I had been overcharged. Questioned what I had been charged compared to what was on board and told I was wrong I said the prices are misleading and we had the same meal before and it didn't cost that it cost same as board to which the man said what do you expect me to do. The man then threw £3 the difference between the 2 at me. Crap service, rubbish staff.

Very nice but not the best in Worcester

This place is amazing, freshly cooked and generous portions. We always opt for the minifish platter with either sausage or pie. It's enough to happily fill the stomach of any hungry human and the staff are always friendly. It can be a bit hit-or-miss on the kebabs at times but I've never had a bad piece of fish...good job guys 👍👍

Depends who’s on Sue is excellent and quick knowledgeable service she provides always But both Guys struggle with Everyday English & last 3-4 times I’ve had southern fried chicken breast which I ordered & paid for from them, then when I’ve got home & I’ve 2/3 times not been chicken breast but a hard dry drumstick 🍗 & the other 2 occasions it was chicken breast but with plenty of bone on underside & it was almost like it had been cooked dinner time and then put back in heater for evening as it was as dry as a bone 🍖 even my dog turned his nose up at it. This is getting extremely frequent lately which is a shame as it’s lovely when actually cooked and got the correct amount of southern fried coating on. One last thing, it would help also if the 2 men smiled occasionally or had manners and learned how to say please or thank you as were lining there pockets, but a please or thank-you doesn’t cost anything does it. Keep up the good work though to sue she’s part of the fixtures and fittings.

We think as a family that this is the best chippy locally..even have scratchings...yum! Chips always fresh..

The friendly staff make you feel important. The food is very nicely presented. they are always very helpful advising on best choice of food.

Had battered sausages twice from here and each time I've been really ill the next day. Wouldn't recommend and won't be going back.

Service is a bit slow even when the shop is empty as staff are either chatting on the phone or talking too each other. There isnt any smiles to welcome you but when it comes too taking your cash they smile then. Once you open your food the chips and really greasy and fish really boney.

Food is all good never had any bad food from there and the price is ok

The food is very rubbish and not worth the money i spent wish i had gone else ware staff are rude as well and look down on people will not return
