Disgracefull. Ordered a pint of IPA, it had a very acrid and off taste. I questioned this at the bar and was told by the guy who served me that he was unable to confirm if it was Off as he could not taste it ??, he then went on to say it was a new barrel but as there were no bits evident in my pint he considered it to be fine and told me that he had served what I had asked for and was not prepared to pursue the matter. What a disgrace, would never visit this pub again.

Took forever to get served, despite being the only one waiting, because the barmaid was too busy scoring the guys at the bar out of 10, no I'm not kidding. Then go to the bar again at 10:40pm to be told "no more", no last orders called, haven't even closed yet but not even time to get one more half in because she 'hasn't clean yet'. Been past recently and they'd closed early so not surprised at tonight. Next time I won't even bother and will walk a bit further to the Eagle or heroes, absolute waste of my time and money. Shame because it's a nice spot

Popped in here for a drink while in Worcester. The young woman behind bar with short blonde hair. ( think she was Eastern European ) was the most miserable person I’ve ever come across no manners what so ever. Took my pint back as it was flat. She gave me a very odd stare and just huffed abit then changed it. I never seen her smile at anyone she was serving. No thankyou nothing. Spent most of her time on phone sitting down behind bar. She really shouldn’t be working with the public !! Oh and the toilets where disgraceful !! This was mid afternoon and very quiet so doubt this was done in the day. Yiu could smell them as you walked up the stairs to them. I’ve been in Cleaner public toilets.

Fantastic! Drinks The drinks were served quickly, in clean glasses by Sam. We had espresso martinis (tap ain’t great but at least they have the option of cocktails) and pints which were what you’d expect! Service We were served at the bar in the Swan by Sam on the Saturday evening. Sam’s service was quick, really efficient and really friendly. Venue The venue is clean, really lovely in its decoration and the toilets were well stocked and cleaned. It’s disabled accessible, with seats with high backs and toilet facilities. Let’s talk about the food first; The Swan hosts Smokin Brads on the grill where Brad(I assume) fires out Worcester’s best burgers at will. Our whole gang went with various burgers from the wide selection and everyone left with a big smile. I had the bacon cheese and loved every juicy bit of it closely followed by the crispy fries. Amazing! Try the chicken wings if you dare very tasty, but damn hot! The bar takes it further, with cocktails for every taste and a selection of gins that included a few I’d not tried, which is normally unheard of. Trust me bruv, The Swan and Smokin Brads is well worth a visit!

On a day trip to Worcester we walked past here and noticed it said it was dog friendly, which was perfect for us. We sat in the beer garden where there were shady or sunny tables to choose from. The service was great and our food came in a paper bag all packaged up and labelled so minimal handling of our meals in these COVID times. The food was delicious with my 19 year old declaring it the best burger he has ever had. Would definitely visit again!

Tasty burgers and friendly service. Social distancing was well managed by the staff. If coming for the food, then it's because you like tasty beef in your burger / brisket roll. Burgers are generous but not huge. (I wish I'd ordered the chips on the side.) Guessing it's a rock pub so probably a different atmosphere in the evening in non covid times. More of an adult venue. Definitely no suggestions that 'sport' might be shown.

We booked in advance, especially given the restrictions on numbers and the place was very busy on arrival. We were greeted warmly and quickly seated. We chose the brisket bun and blue ox burger with hand cut fries and jalapeño slaw. The meat was very tender, the fries crisp and the slaw had a nice kick without being too spicy. If we'd been a bit hungrier we'd have definitely liked to try some of the other sides. Although limited in choice, the ales on offer were in good condition. Service from our waitress was very good, although the person behind the bar when we went to pay could have been friendlier.

Pre booked for 3 for lunch. Food nice, though didn’t enjoy the service. It was quiet & sunny. Walked through the large empty pub to the garden at the back. There is no other way to leave, though with the order you have to do pay up front. And then again as you go for further drinks. Just not something I’ve come across before in Worcestershire restaurants. It felt very much like pay up, eat up, go & we don’t quite trust you not to do a runner. Notwithstanding the fact there were only 4 occupied tables. The 4th were told for 2 of them as no booking they couldn’t fit them in for lunch. It wasn’t busy. So nice food though ambience & service make it a no second visit for me

New Street is one the oldest streets in Worcester - obviously - and contains many of the cities finest wonky Tudor buildings; many now home to a variety of pubs and eateries. The Swan, having recently undergone a "rebranding" and, I suppose, change of management/ownership occupies one such historic sight although the grey-painted brickwork on the exterior facade (Victorian) hides the Tudor interior quite well.

I'll be the first to admit that I didn't really want to eat here - I wanted Thai food but the rest of my party wanted pies. Sigh. I really didn't want a pie. I didn't really fancy anything on the menu but settled for a blue cheese burger and determined not to moan too much (made much easier by the fact that it was cheap and not going to break the bank).Well let me tell you I couldn't keep quiet about my food - it was absolutely delicious, so delicious that eating the last mouthful was a sad moment. This was no run of the mill burger, I can tell you and I'm looking forward to eating there again. The rest of our party had pies - enormous stonking great big pies which would have widened the eyes of even Desperate Dan. I'm told they were fine pies. As for the ale? Suffice it to say that I ended up driving home because I'm not a beer drinker and that made the beer drinkers very happy. It has been suggested on occasion that I'm a picky mare but even I couldn't find fault. I'll definitely be back. Thank you.

Very disappointed, large pasty very bland, filling was very mushy & lacking in flavour. Not very good customer service: shop was empty but staff were busy chatting/socialising with each other..would not recommend. Very expensive for the quality of items purchased. will not use again
