A cosy, unpretentious pub, we ate here on 3 occasions during a week's stay nearby and experienced a warm welcome and friendly and efficient service each time. The menu has plenty ofl choices, including vegetarian/vegan options and we enjoyed all the meals we had. There was also a good choice of drinks on offer, including 2 locally brewed cask beers. Would definitely return on future visits to the area.

Had a lovely 2 nights at The Wyche Inn. This isn't a luxury hotel but a country pub, that said our room was spotlessly clean and the views were spectacular. The staff were friendly and helpful with plenty of ideas and tips. Parking is a bit snug but otherwise it was a nice pub, good beer and good food, breakfast was a lovely cooked full english but they catered for the Vegetarian in our party and also the coeliac. Location means you can just walk round the corner and onto the Malvern Hills Have already booked for next year

A kids meal was £9 pounds !!!!! £9!!!! I expected the jumbo cod fish fingers to come out and be very bloody impressive for almost 10quid for a kids meal, but no, it was one greasy frozen deep fried cheap fish finger, the cheapest chips you can get and beans.... also £4 for a bowl of cheapy chips is in my eyes too much... I expect premium chips for that, not the slop you would get from a kebab van. I thought about complaining but what is the point? And we were hungry. Is it the fact that the Tories and brexit have destroyed the country so much that an independent pub must serve up crap produce at top prices in order to survive? Or is it just greed and and poor choices from this particular establishment?! Who the hell knows? DO NOT BRING CHILDREN HERE IF YOU DONT WANT TO REMORTGAGE YOUR HOUSE AND BE DISSATISFIED you get 2 stars because the beer was good ! Rant over, but surely admit you cannot justify £9 for a crappy kids meal

Situated up in the Malvern Hills and very near the Herefordshire and worcestershire border, there are almost unparalleled views here. Happily that's not the only reason to make it all the way up the hill. Impressive food (can recommend the beef chili enchilada, and my partner and son enjoyed their meals too) and also a great selection of local ciders. In fact a better cider selection than I've seen anywhere else locally. Friendly vibe and excellent service too.

I booked 2 rooms for my family to stay at. They liked it. Said the views from their rooms were amazing. One of my guests said the shower wasn’t that great and the bathtub was too small to bathe in, but it would suit a child or short person. Negative - Next morning when I went there with the intention of saying goodbye to my family I found the lady very standoffish with me; I’m 52 years old and don’t appreciate being told to make sure I’m quiet as there are residents still sleeping!

Booked for 6 as part of a family hills walk after seeing a local friend post who I know to be a real foodie singing praises. The most perfect day walking the beautiful hills and stopping off for what was an exceptional roast lunch. Piping hot, generous portions, delicious home cooked roasties (that’s often the bit that can disappoint in a pub but it absolutely did not), well cooked veg, loads of extra gravy, speedy service, I could go on and on… rounded off with a lovely local Ledbury and Hereford Ale. Really wanted the pudding as they were proper English puds but just too full with a few miles still to walk. Gonna do it next time! Will definitely be back. I have bitten my tongue for too long. The pub could be excellent. It has decent beer, okay food, darts board and a quality jukebox. The bar staff have always been and are still relatively friendly and accommodating. The issue I have, and have had for years is the rudeness of the Landlady. I, and many others, have been made to feel uncomfortable when giving the pub business. I have never felt so bad for parting with my money. She is clearly in the wrong industry! Her customer service is shocking. If there is another reason for her rudeness then I must apologise however I hope she reads this and changes her ways. The pub has so much potential.

Ive used this pub a few times for food and its always been average and reasonably priced. However, not friendly and if you have children do not bother. They have a no child after 8pm policy even when quiet. We are local and had guests from Australia. We tried to book at 745 but they were adamant they wouldn't accomodate us. Strange as happy to take our custom other times. All because someone was rude last year with children which probably was a sign of a bad customer but have banned children anyway. My daughter who is well behaved was devastated and we went elsewhere and will also be taking our custom elsewhere in the future.

We were ushured to the bottom bar, where 2 groups were playing pool and making a fair bit of noise. Decided to not order the food, and had a pint and left. Born in Malvern been to many of the pubs , this pub has great views and traditional feel / some what tired interior. Been a couple of times , and had good experiences ! so I thought I would have my Birthday Lunch also my step - fathers Birthday lunch at this pub , when I arrived my mother had already ordered a couple of minutes before , she had ordered the steak and kidney pie ! not realising that I don’t like kidney , so I approached the bar to kindly ask if I could change my meal , first I saw the barmaid who didn’t want to answer had no authority just said it was ordered 15 mins ago very abruptly , then another man I assume is the chief or kitchen help was rude , then a dark haired man who I said it was my bday lunch and could I change my meal was extremely rude ! Distasteful , awful customer service said that’s not my problem! Had a aggressive manner not helpful at all think he was the Landlord. Like as if they couldn’t change my meal it’s only warmed up anyway , and totally rude , I don’t know why they were in the Malvern Gazette! they lost out on at least £50 lunch and also hospitality is 0 . Healthy hike uphill to have steak night on a Tuesday. Steak was really good, I like rare and got what I ordered. View over the Malverns was brilliant

As the title says this is our second visit to this charming B&B. If it's stunning views and comfortable surroundings your after then this is the place for you. The breakfast is a winner provided by the owners who obviously take great pride in what they do. The rooms are comfortable and have everything you would expect from a hotel costing more. We had evening meals a few nights and the food was excellent. All in all a great stay, well worth it.

We wandered in at 2 15 pm and ordering food wasn't a problem. Mostly walkers with their dogs. Friendly and plentiful staff who knew their job and understood wine. They also had tabasco. Tick tick. We had double cod and chips which came with a plentiful side salad. A busy buzz but getting a table wasn't a problem. Lots of people sat outside. Plenty for vegetarians.

It's high up on a hill which makes for great views fro the front door but difficult parking. There was a choice of a number of cask ales and cider and the listing in the CAMRA Good Beer Guide is surely deserved. The food was good quality pub grub with ham and eggs and fish and chips amongst the choices of our party. There looked to be a fine range of vegetarian options. The service was pleasant and efficient, and we all felt that we had made a great choice by coming here.

very welcoming staff and efficient. The rooms were well equipped clean and comfortable. The breakfast had a variety of cereals and the main menus were as good as four star hotels. The evening meal was good and reasonably priced. A comfortable and informal stay means that we will readily consider staying again if we can get in! Many thanks to the staff

We were staying in a cottage at the bottom of the hill and were recommended this pub by the people we collected the keys from. We walked up the 'Pixie Steps' which are possibly the longest and steepest steps cut into a hillside I've ever encountered. Next time I'll probably drive and just have soft drinks. It's a very pleasant free house with some decent real ales on tap, a friendly welcome and above standard pub food. I had an excellent steak and my wife was impressed with the Fish Pie - often disappointing in other pubs but packed with fish here. Will return when we visit the area again next year.

My wife and I decided to stopover on our way to a family celebration. After a 246 mile drive we ordered a couple of drinks and relaxed before going upstairs to room 1. The bar is welcoming, and we sat with our lab and watched the beautiful pub dog stare at his toys. This is a true dog friendly pub, with people bringing their dogs in quite regularly, ans sitting down to eat. The views across the valley are sensational and merit a second look. Leaving the bar we moved upstairs to our room to wash before dinner. Room 1 is small but with that stunning view I mentioned. Mesmerising. Try spotting the train. Now the Snow White reference... the thing that is 2 ft wide by 2 feet deep and 3 feet long is a bath for her dwarves... and here was one of them in room 1... I tried pulling myself up to my 5' 6"" I struggled, and the only way to fit is to dangle your left leg out of the bath and your right leg up the wall.... it's so unusual in design I think perhaps the architects were with wine, and raided Snow whites House for the baths... never seen anything like it, and probably never will again. Bath Fail... and so to the bar for a couple of steaks and a bottle of wine which were adequate but no more.... met a couple of ladies in the bar and chatted about rescue dogs from Spain and lady officers in the RAF... Breakfast was good, and the staff very congenial... I left feeling very puzzled about that bath... what and where were they designed for before the architects stole them???

What can I say? Fabulous location, great views, handy for running the Malvern Hills, and decent beer. On the downside: When I got back form my run and needed a bath I discovered I had a room with a comedy bath. It is so small I could sit in it with my legs up in the air! I gave up and had a shower – that never got above luke warm! Bit disappointing when I needed a hot bath/shower. Dinner finishes early and I had a pie (one of the days specials). It wasn't a pie to speak of with a tiny bit of limp blackened pastry drowning in sauce -so a more accurate description would have been filling in a dish. The pastry was just a horrible soggy mess that I couldn't eat (and that's saying something). The chicken was tough and clearly reheated. Breakfast wasn't too bad. However – would I stay again? Maybe for the location. Will I eat there again – no never, and I would strive to avoid room 3! To be honest, I have stayed here before and so none of this was a surprise (well apart form the bath). It's basic and it is what it is! I cant fault the staff who were all very helpful and nice.

We went for a meal with some friends on one of their specials nights - this was curry night. We had some starters but the breaded mushrooms were more bread than mushroom and tasted a bit Brake Bros. One of the party ordered a steak which was OK but the pepper sauce did not appear to have any pepper in it. The lasagna was a hefty portion with loads of meat but not much pasta and very little sauce. Now for the curries - our only advice would be if you want a curry, go to a curry house ! The portions were big, good quantity of meat in them and served with chips, rice and a nan bread which is too much but the sauce was thin and did not ressemble proper curry sauce.. The prices are not bad especially considering the portion sizes and the service was excellent. The atmosphere is quite good as it's only a bar but it's position almost on top of the Malvern Hills is splendid. Very limited car parking but plenty in the road

The menu was poor, their had been no changes since we stayed last year. My husband ordered the risotto, he didn't expect to have to pull sticks of heards out of his meal.

After having a lovely roast at the kings head we sat in their garden having a drink. Really unprofessionally the manager came over from the star inn and asked us to join them because ‘the drinks are cheaper’ Maybe but the live music is awful and your pub is empty - we now know why. So rude. Really unprofessional and an awful attitude to have towards another local business Absolutely no business coming from our large group who would have happily spent money behind the bar.

Came for a family Sunday roast. The beef was to die for, as was the rest! Staff really friendly, all in all a lovely chilled atmosphere and I would absolutely visit again!
