It's a very well run pub the manager is hard working and so are the bar staff,great atmosphere we drink there regularly food is very good, a great pub to be in

Been here a few times now , we went last Sunday and despite there being having to wait for food it was served perfectly , meals were great and our party really enjoyed it , staff are always friendly and the manager is always helpful

We visited to celebrate my grandsons 22nd birthday on 7/5/25 @ 5.30pm Lovely food, and what made it special was that Amanda who served us could not do enough for us. Best waitress ever.

Adam is a fantastic bald man. Abbie is cool, she’d be cooler if she knew the answers to the crosswords. Luke’s a geezer tho. Lilly’s quite cool tbf

I wish I could have gave here 5 stars as all the working staff (and the female manager) were absolutely lovely. food was pretty good too! what completely ruined it us was the male manager. his attitude was so sour and unwelcoming. place probably needs to sack him, we felt uncomfortable despite everyone else being so lovely. i feel sorry these lovely people have to work alongside such a miserable manager

Friendly staff always happy to serve you

Always a great place to eat. Cheap but quality food. Nice seating area inside and out, baby high chairs and crayons for little one. Sat outside in the sun. Friendly atmosphere watching the 10k race. We will be back again and have been a few times over the years.

I've been here previously about 18 months ago. This is a great wee pub with a fantastic choice of drinks. Next time I'll definitely eat there because the menu looks great

Awful. We got there and there were only one couple having coffee and a small family finishing there meal. The service to stay was good. The meal was awful. I had Hunters chicken. The chicken was over cooked, hard and dry on top. My husband had chicken mix, also dry and hard. My grandson had the kids Pasta with carrots. The carrots were soggy and the pasta was dry and hard. During the meal I asked what the constant ear piercing beeping was, to be told it was the oven in the carvery. The waiter then cleared out plates, then all the staff went to look at the Yorkshire puds that were burning in the oven. Wtf, said one person, as they started to discuss the puds... loudly and the fact that the measurements for the puds had been guessed! After 25 mins, I asked where our desert was and that I couldn't understand what was talking so long as we were then the only people in the restaurant, 3 mins later out desserts came out. The air was full of a hot smell of oil. I left the restaurant fuming. Never again. No wonder it was empty.

Lovely experience. Proper home cooked food, no cutting the corners. Presented perfectly, 3 different dishes all amazing, 4 person table. Proper sized plates of food. Staff member inspoke with was lovely, overall incase very pleased. Atmosphere was good, locals seemed a happy bunch. Even though it was a hot, sunny night and it was busy. There was place to park and didn't wait for long to get a drink. We are coming back here again Thanks
