Didn't like the chips were a bit to dry ,but everything else was great.

Went here after my daughters graduation on Tuesday 2 for £11 deal was great for us and the food was good the skin on fries were cooked perfectly.

Food was horrible. DJ on at 5 so no one can hear themselves think. No cutlery given no condiments given. Accused of sitting on someone else table by the staff, staff not friendly, that's why. Logged a complaint 3 weeks ago no one bothered to get in touch

I popped into Meadow Lark with a friend and her baby. We visited here a while ago and enjoyed our last visit so we paid another one. On arrival it was relatively quiet. We were served straight away and they catered to our specific dietary requirements. We ordered the 'chick' burger it was amazing, served with skin on fries. Definitely worth a try. The pub was clean and the bathroom facilities were clean. Staff were easy to talk to and served food quickly. We also ordered the dessert too. Definitely recommend going as it was fab.

Amazing good, the new menu is great, full of choice. You can easily choose something different everything you go. Our food was plentiful and tasty. Never had a problem with food whenever we have been. It was busy but didn't mind waiting for the food as we know it is worth waiting for. The staff were friendly and we always have a laugh with them.

We went to the Meadowlark for something to eat and watch the football. The food was great came quickly we got served at the bar in turn, and again quite quickly considering it was quite busy. Staff seemed to be enjoying themselves, beer was good and choice was aswell. Great time except for the football result

The last twice I have visited to eat with my husband we have had the pleasure of being served by a lovely young girl named Tamzin. The food she served to use was lovely, presented excellent and very well cooked, no complaints at all. The service received was also excellent, good food served with a smile and politely makes a massive difference. We will definately return.

Hi Ness, this is something we don’t normally do is complain, on Monday 20th May 2024 we attended your pub which we have been a regular for 20 years but we were very very disappointed as we were refused food bang on 8pm… it’s only occasionally we pop in on a Monday night we did not know that the kitchen shut at 8pm there are no times displayed and normally if the kitchens are going to close earlier a member of staff would normally come over and ask us if we are having food, we also noticed that a regular was refused food too at 7.50pm, we would value your thoughts on this matter? On another note went to the ladies toilets which was disgusting and toilet roll being held up by pink string photo attached. Many thanks

I never have a bad meal here and the service by everyone is always excellent.

The staff were very friendly and efficient the only thing they can improve was the table needed wiping and the toilets weren’t very clean but to be fair they need up grading the food was hot and cooked well good quality

Very good service and excellent quality food

Our first visit - perfect! Didn't book - just turned up - 6 of us - and decided to stay for lunch. Plenty of seating available and easy to find a table for six. Food was good - two meals for £11.00 - and a good range of choices; I had the Lasagne and garlic bread which was excellent - and my husband had the gammon egg and chips - both presented well, and tasted good. We took our time - chatted before we ordered, and after we'd eaten - never felt that we were being rushed to vacate the table. All the staff we saw were smartly dressed and looked happy to help, engaged in conversation etc and asked about any allergies when we were ordering food - always good to have due diligence. Plenty of parking on their own carpark - and the toilets were clean and presentable, with good handwashing facilities. The pub is absolutely 100% accessible too for anyone having challenges with mobility. All in all, a great first visit - we will be back. Thank you ... 🧡

I think it’s absolutely disgusting what you have done you are running the pub into the ground locals not coming in anymore and to top it off not allowing kids after 9pm now. Wouldn’t be so bad but not even put it on facebook. Never seen it so empty on a Wednesday night. We will be looking for somewhere else for our family nights out you even change the kitchen opening times when you feel like it. Been coming in the pub since it’s been open never seen it so family unfriendly Message sent The Meadowlark the place is going downhill

If you want to get high on the smell of weed then the meadowlark carpark is the place to be. It needs sorting out, it's bringing the place down. It's not the pub owners fault but maybe CCTV will sort this problem out. The amount of cars I've seen pull up alongside another car, a quick passing over of goods through the window then speeding off.

Went for a family lunch yesterday, we have three children ranging from 9 - 2. As it was lunch time on a Saturday we did anticipate it being fairly busy, which it was. It's also family friendly so we expected other children to be present and potentially quite noisy. Which it was. We opted to order via the QR codes on the table which took us to the website. I believe you can go to the bar and order in person if that's what you prefer but human interaction isn't my vibe so I'm glad this was an option, and it was easy to navigate and pay. The staff we did interact with were polite and friendly, we noticed my partner was missing a portion of onion rings and our server came back with them very promptly. The food was lovely, portions were generous. Our youngest child had a little kids serving of tomato pasta and it was quite a big portion for £2.99. My only gripe with the food is that my sirloin steak was overcooked, I requested it rare and it arrived pretty much well done. I was pretty hungry so I didn't bother complaining, and it was still tasty enough but it was also served on a blisteringly hot cast iron skillet so I'm wondering if that affected it. My partner also ordered steak and they were cooked perfectly to his liking and served on a proper plate. We both opted to have the beef gravy with our steaks and it was absolutely gorgeous, if you like gravy I highly recommend it. Overall it was a nice meal out, will definitely be visiting again soon. (Toilets were also lovely and clean!)

Table booked for 20 people , food was served quickly, all warm and tasty and reasonably priced. Friendly staff.Only miner whinge is the Stella lager wasn't the best, The Guinness was spot on.

Has a homey feel to it...love the breakfast and also thier salmon grill is to die for. Nice place and it's a regular for me.

Me and my family always go to the meadow lark for food and it's always amazing. Recently I had my engagement gathering there and I couldn't thank the staff enough for everything they had done for us ❤️ they decorated our tables and chairs and made us feel extremely welcome and special, I couldn't have made the day as special without their help ❤️ I 1000% recommend here ❤️

Very noisy place, too many disruptive children. We came as a group of 4 and was seated on a less than adequate table, it was Mother's Day though but it wasn't overly busy and there was other bigger tables available and not reserved. The food was simply a pub meal served on a cast iron skillet, nothing special. I did enjoy the salmon though, it was cooked nicely. Our food came before our drinks which made no sense whatsoever and we had to ask as they had all been offered together. Would I return? Probably not but it was nice to experience somewhere different.

Staff confused because we ordered 2 lemonades with a coffee and tea for 2 people. The burger I ordered was well over cooked and hard to chew. Staff were polite and friendly enough but I won't eat the food again. Just didn't enjoy the experience at all.

The Management Should Not Allow People To Queue In A Line This Situation Just Creates A Bad Atmosphere When The Regular Visitors Just Head To The Bar Corner And Get Served Also Ideally People Wanting To Order Food Should Have A Different Till. NOT A VERY GOOD RUN PUB

Just popped in no reservation, we had a voucher to spend from Christmas. Really really good food , we ordered loads of starters. I would definitely recommend, the only thing was what time the kitchen closes , it needs to be more clear .

Been here twice in the past week for the sizzler meals with Groupon deals. Have to say they were fabulous. First time I had the salmon and then had the Jerk chicken skewers. The mushroom starters were fabulous too. The meals were served fairly quickly and the staff very pleasant too. We will return soon!

Booked a table for a date night only to be told there was a 2hour wait for food, Really didnt expect this after a table was booked. Very disappointed.

Poor service, menus items not available. Parts of dishes missing stale naan bread, no apologies don't seem to care anymore, been going down hill for months. Complain and they argue back, might never go back to our local

The food was good but not as described on the menu. Staff rushed off their feet and confused. 4 of us at the table 3 had finished food before other arrived. 2 dip and cluck no cheese or gravy. Eton Mess no meringue and nothing like one on the next table. After Eight dessert substituted with dark chocolate. These issues were all brought to the attention of staff but we felt so sorry for them as only young and not their fault so said we would just eat what we had been given.

Had a very disappointing, being polite meal tonight 9.12.23.ordered gammon off ultimate plates .food came quite quickly straight away noticed onion rings and some garnish missing.spoke to a young lady serving who said she would sort this out.on returning to table looked at gammon and it looked very undercooked so spoke to same lady who took meal away when food came back gammon in my opinion was cooked how it should have been to start with but where rest of meal had been put while it was being cooked who knows because everything else was pretty much cold . The last meal I had here the almost identical thing happened,don't think there will be a third.

I arrived first and was greeted by Callum who gave me a really nice welcome. The food order was taken efficiently and the food arrived sizzling hot in a very short space of time. Callum bought our food to the table and was pleasant checking if we needed anything else. Nothing to complain about except it was a very cold day and we found it rather cold to eat - we would’ve stayed for dessert but decided to go home and have a hot drink to warm ourselves up

We'd asked for a quiet table, they offered us a quiet table in the corner or gave us other choices which was great, the food came in good time, piping hot and it was lovely, a great meal. I'd looked through local menus before booking and Meadowlark had the most appetising menu and it didn't disappoint.

So I went there for a pork belly and there was 10 of us and all our food was cold and I was meant to of hade a sizzler but mine wasn't doing that it was cold so I told the women and she said sorry its because theses 10 of u thats why we can't make it sizzle oh its because they forgot to spray it with water!! Woooooooow never again

The staff was so rude towards my family because someone on the same table had the wrong meal so when asking for the meal that was ordered the female staff member began to argue and swear at my family member. Absolutely disgusting behaviour. I will never visit the pub again.

2 hours waiting for food on a Monday night. Complained via the online portal and not heard a thing! This was 2 weeks ago. We live very close but won’t ever go again! My loaded surf and turf wasn’t sizzling nor did it have a tomato or onion rings as per the menu! Inedible food! Vile atmosphere with people drunk and swearing and drugs being used in the toilets!! Needs to be closed down and new management bought in asap!

Would have easily given 5 🌟 but the crumble wasn't available. Was looking forward to having that.

Arrived with a friend around 4 pm. Was told as we sat down that the kitchen was closed for an hour. We said OK we would have a drink while waiting. Waited an hour then asked at the bar if the kitchen was open now only to be told that we could only order food if we had pre-booked our table. We had sat there for an hour drinking, expecting to be able to order food. If we had been told this from the start we would have gone somewhere else to eat instead of wasting our time.

Got there at 3.45pm & met by a barman who told us the kitchen was closed for an hour. No problem. Ordered drinks and waited for another person to arrive. At 5pm went to order food to be told it was prebooked tables only for food. I spoke to the original barman who told us the manager had changed the rules, yet nobody told us and we'd ordered drinks we actually didn't need. I told him I wanted to see the manager so I could make a formal complaint. Manager never came. Place not even half full so no excuse of being too busy. As now seen by the reply from Vanessa the manager, her break took priority over customer service and taking 5 minutes to apologise. Not even sending someone else on her behalf whilst taking her break. I fully understand the situation you were facing but where does the customer come in all this? Poor!

Great place, good choice of ale, lager, cider and wines. Large choice of food. Quiet booth areas and party areas. Highly recommend.

God value for money, had 40% voucher for main meal. Food nice, was busy in there but staff was all friendly and helpful getting us a table.

Ok friendly staff not busy food reasonably priced..food came quickly..burger raw in middle and fish slightly under cooked Won't be going in the future Ok so I've tried it today again some what changed maybe new management much nicer I have fish chips and peas came out in good time Food piping hot 🔥 my only grumble was the oil needed changing in the fryer for the chips lot of black bits from other cooked food I've have changed my rating to coincide with this Price for 2 fish and chips one coke and one double rum and coke just over £20 so quite good value too

Attended for my 70th Birthday Celebration Family meals.

2 for £10.50 option was reasonable in size...fish and chips...obviously freshly cooked. The place is pleasant, not too closely furnished and staff were very helpful. Outside space is impressive. Lovely
