A massive thank you to all the staff for making our Christmas lunch wonderful. We were a party of nine and we were all served together. The food was great, everyone was impressed. We wish you a Happy New Year 🎄

Good food, cozy inside. Got a great seating area outdoors, which iam sure will be great for summers. Food was good, and service on point. All in all , recommend.

The Meadowlark is looking lovely after it's recent refurbishment. All of the staff are very friendly and welcoming. A great place whether dining, drinking or watching sports.

I've been coming here for years but this time it was shocking was for my wife's 40th birthday there was 19 of us all food pre ordered before the day but there was a lot of food wrong that came out my dad's food didn't ever have the pork chop or onion rings or mushrooms on and the festive dinner I've seen better from Iceland was not even fresh turkey it was pretty packed meat not happy with this experience might not be returning in the future but the only positive thing of the night was the 3 girls serving us the food they are a credit

Came here on the 15.12.24 with my 12yr old boy I ordered mixed grill & my lad hunters chicken Food came out after 20 mins, mixed grill stone cold didn't even sizzle on skillet Others were having and was red hot on skillet felt like mine had been standing for some time Meat was dry as leather my boys chicken was dry as a bone Very disappointed in the food, deserts were ok but small portion of pudding for 5.00 not worth the money I'm afraid

We as a family did breakfast with Santa this morning. Santa was amazing all interactive for the children really entertaining. Bit of adult humour thrown in there. We took three children under 7. Colouring writing letters to Santa to then give him which he read out then gift time. Cost £7.99 per child and they breakfast x

I arrived first and was greeted by Callum who gave me a really nice welcome. The food order was taken efficiently and the food arrived sizzling hot in a very short space of time. Callum bought our food to the table and was pleasant checking if we needed anything else. Nothing to complain about except it was a very cold day and we found it rather cold to eat - we would’ve stayed for dessert but decided to go home and have a hot drink to warm ourselves up

I took my nephew and niece for Breakfast with Santa and we enjoyed every moment... We were made to feel so welcome by everyone... Vanessa and Dan in particular were very attentive and friendly and made us want to come back again. "Santa" was brilliant! Non stop fun, happy memories made - THANK YOU!

DO NOT RECOMMEND THIS PUB !!! Went in on the 25th November with 2 of my friends to enjoy some food and catch up. One of said friends had a bottle of pepsi from the shop next door and within 2 seconds of opening and not even having opportunity to take a sip she had the landlady shouting at her from across the bar making hand signals to which she then alerted the owner of the pub and she stated in an aggressive tone “dont think you can come in here and drink stuff in MY pub” and laughed and giggled with another member of staff which is extremely unprofessional behaviour. I was stood at the bar as this all happened the owner of the pub was taking my order and was making comments to me about my friend not knowing i was with them so i asked her if there was an issue i needed to speak to my friend and if she wanted us to leave to which she changed her whole complete attitude towards the situation after i said to her “thats the table that im sat at”. Also, when bringing our order over a member of staff slammed it down onto the table and huffed n puffed n walked off. Not only that but the chips were cold and had next to no cheese on them and were also green. Furthermore, whilst sat talking to my friends there were 2 ladies cleaning a table next to us and one of us glanced over as you do and one of the ladies said “i swear to god if she looks at me like that one more time”. Personally to me that sounds like a threat. I just think that there is a huge lack of professionalism within the business and i think that the staff members need to take into account that they are there to work and not sit around and gossip about teenage girls. My friend who was drinking the pepsi has a history of low blood sugar, is prone to passing out and had just finished work so was exhausted and needed a refreshment. If the employee had directly came over to us and politely explained she doesn’t allow outside drinks then we would have understood but what we don’t understand is the vileness of the whole situation.

Love the refurb, though the chairs around the round table now block the walkway when used. Nice atmosphere and great priced food for what you get. We ate fish and chips and lasagne off the 2 for £12.50 menu. It will remain a regular meeting place for our group of friends.

We came in for a family birthday meal, the vibe as always was friendly and welcoming. We had a table of 12 and we all ordered food. We were served by Sophie and Ella & they were lovely! Very friendly nothing was too much ask. Food was lovely every one all enjoyed their food. Very good night. Loving the new refurb!

Visited this week, the refurb looks lovely, sizzling tandoori chicken plate was great, the haloumi sizzler looked a bit sparce, the salmon salad bowl didn't look like the picture, was basic when it came, however, all tasted good, staff were friendly and helpful.

Got a nice table that i had requested Met on entrance by a friendly member of staff who showed me to our table Service was very good Discount on the bill, 25%, was very much appreciated Enjoyed the real ale, Hobgoblin, which was nicely kept

I went here on 9th November with my family. I do not recommend this place. Three of the meals were cold and mine did not even arrive! I ordered a child's meal which was a burger and the bun was so hard my little one couldn't even eat it. When we told the waitress about the food she rolled her eyes and huffed and puffed at us. This waitress then cried twice! When speaking to the manager she was also quite rude initially and told us that we should be the ones to apologise for making her staff cry. Nothing nasty was said to the waitress we just told her the food was cold and she was very unprofessional in how she handled it. Yet we were told by the manager that we needed to apologise to her waitress. We reserved a table and it had a table number written on the reserve note and that is the table number we ordered our food to. However we were later informed after receiving the cold meals that it was not the correct table number on that note so our food went to the wrong table. The manager did apologise in the end and gave us some money back. However her initial response to our complaints was rude and unapologetic and even told us we were the ones who should have been apologising! Not how a manager should be acting and running a restaurant. She also told me that I did not order my food and that's why it did not arrive when I did order my food with my children's food! Will not be returning to this place again. Absolute shambles.

I attended this place for my 50th birthday meal with my family of seven, can’t believe the experience we had. We pre booked a table on line for originally 1.30 but had to change it for o'clock as one of my family were running a bit late, we turned up and was seated not long after which was great. We went to the bar and ordered our drinks and food for table number 21 which was stated on the reservation label on our table and also had our booking name on it. But was told it was table number 6 which made me confused as I tried to explain to the manager she was getting really hi rated with me . Ok they were really busy so we expected a bit of a wait which wasn’t a problem at all but when the food did eventually come it was cold and tasted horrible. We called the waitress over to tell her and all she done was huffed and puffed and give us a really bad attitude. I went to talk to the manager which was also a bad experience, she really needs to sort out her manager skills and also needs to learn how to deal with customers. Yes she did give us a refund eventually but the whole experience was terrible and really ruined my day I was so embarrassed for me and my family. It has just had a full refurb which is really nice but seriously now I wouldn’t recommend this place or even think about visiting it again. This used to be our local not anymore.

Sat in the restaurant side where there is now a tv in addition to a number of TVs the bar area. This has made it awful. It worked well in the past as it was open plan if you were eating you could keep away from the sport. The speakers in in the dining area were playing football commentary. I don’t go out to eat with my family to listen to that. This has spoiled what used to be a nice place to eat. We have eaten there for years with family, we will give it one more chance but if the football in on next time it will be last time. There is no need for football in the dining area there are clearly defined areas for eating and football use them as such. There is absolutely no need to have the football blaring out in the dining area. Ruined a nice place to eat. Food was good staff were good but noise absolutely shocking.

Went here today for my brothers 50th for a meal the worst experience ever all the food was cold and the staff was really rude about changing it and one of the meals didn’t arrive total night mare . It’s had a refurbe need to think about getting new staff in that can handle the job . And the chief needs to learn how to cook hot food don’t recommend this place at in total disaster.

Caitlin who served us was very friendly and welcoming. We were served quickly without queuing and got a table straight away. She even came up to us later and offered us table service so we didn’t have to go to the bar. Fantastic service Caitlin!

Booked a birthday party and left a phone number but when we went to take balloons place was shut and no one answering and a note on the door closed due to unforeseen circumstances. Well I’m sure all your phones work to call us. Thanks for nothing

Good Fish & Chips very reasonable price £10:50 for 2 meals

My husband and I had a lovely meal here I had been previously in the week with my friends and the meal was delicious So my husband had the sirloin sizzler and I had the chicken breast sizzler Both were delicious, my Mediterranean vegetables were cooked to perfection We then had the Eton mess sundae, so refreshing on a hot day We also had 2 pitchers of Long Island tea, delicious. We have only just discovered this pub even though it is on our doorstep The twin girls are so friendly They have just begun breakfasts So Friday mornings here we come

Went here after my daughters graduation on Tuesday 2 for £11 deal was great for us and the food was good the skin on fries were cooked perfectly.

Food was horrible. DJ on at 5 so no one can hear themselves think. No cutlery given no condiments given. Accused of sitting on someone else table by the staff, staff not friendly, that's why. Logged a complaint 3 weeks ago no one bothered to get in touch

I popped into Meadow Lark with a friend and her baby. We visited here a while ago and enjoyed our last visit so we paid another one. On arrival it was relatively quiet. We were served straight away and they catered to our specific dietary requirements. We ordered the 'chick' burger it was amazing, served with skin on fries. Definitely worth a try. The pub was clean and the bathroom facilities were clean. Staff were easy to talk to and served food quickly. We also ordered the dessert too. Definitely recommend going as it was fab.

Amazing good, the new menu is great, full of choice. You can easily choose something different everything you go. Our food was plentiful and tasty. Never had a problem with food whenever we have been. It was busy but didn't mind waiting for the food as we know it is worth waiting for. The staff were friendly and we always have a laugh with them.

We went to the Meadowlark for something to eat and watch the football. The food was great came quickly we got served at the bar in turn, and again quite quickly considering it was quite busy. Staff seemed to be enjoying themselves, beer was good and choice was aswell. Great time except for the football result

The last twice I have visited to eat with my husband we have had the pleasure of being served by a lovely young girl named Tamzin. The food she served to use was lovely, presented excellent and very well cooked, no complaints at all. The service received was also excellent, good food served with a smile and politely makes a massive difference. We will definately return.

Hi Ness, this is something we don’t normally do is complain, on Monday 20th May 2024 we attended your pub which we have been a regular for 20 years but we were very very disappointed as we were refused food bang on 8pm… it’s only occasionally we pop in on a Monday night we did not know that the kitchen shut at 8pm there are no times displayed and normally if the kitchens are going to close earlier a member of staff would normally come over and ask us if we are having food, we also noticed that a regular was refused food too at 7.50pm, we would value your thoughts on this matter? On another note went to the ladies toilets which was disgusting and toilet roll being held up by pink string photo attached. Many thanks

I never have a bad meal here and the service by everyone is always excellent.

The staff were very friendly and efficient the only thing they can improve was the table needed wiping and the toilets weren’t very clean but to be fair they need up grading the food was hot and cooked well good quality

Our first visit - perfect! Didn't book - just turned up - 6 of us - and decided to stay for lunch. Plenty of seating available and easy to find a table for six. Food was good - two meals for £11.00 - and a good range of choices; I had the Lasagne and garlic bread which was excellent - and my husband had the gammon egg and chips - both presented well, and tasted good. We took our time - chatted before we ordered, and after we'd eaten - never felt that we were being rushed to vacate the table. All the staff we saw were smartly dressed and looked happy to help, engaged in conversation etc and asked about any allergies when we were ordering food - always good to have due diligence. Plenty of parking on their own carpark - and the toilets were clean and presentable, with good handwashing facilities. The pub is absolutely 100% accessible too for anyone having challenges with mobility. All in all, a great first visit - we will be back. Thank you ... 🧡

I think it’s absolutely disgusting what you have done you are running the pub into the ground locals not coming in anymore and to top it off not allowing kids after 9pm now. Wouldn’t be so bad but not even put it on facebook. Never seen it so empty on a Wednesday night. We will be looking for somewhere else for our family nights out you even change the kitchen opening times when you feel like it. If you want to get high on the smell of weed then the meadowlark carpark is the place to be. It needs sorting out, it's bringing the place down. It's not the pub owners fault but maybe CCTV will sort this problem out. The amount of cars I've seen pull up alongside another car, a quick passing over of goods through the window then speeding off.

Went for a family lunch yesterday, we have three children ranging from 9 - 2. As it was lunch time on a Saturday we did anticipate it being fairly busy, which it was. It's also family friendly so we expected other children to be present and potentially quite noisy. Which it was. We opted to order via the QR codes on the table which took us to the website. I believe you can go to the bar and order in person if that's what you prefer but human interaction isn't my vibe so I'm glad this was an option, and it was easy to navigate and pay. The staff we did interact with were polite and friendly, we noticed my partner was missing a portion of onion rings and our server came back with them very promptly. The food was lovely, portions were generous. Our youngest child had a little kids serving of tomato pasta and it was quite a big portion for £2.99. My only gripe with the food is that my sirloin steak was overcooked, I requested it rare and it arrived pretty much well done. I was pretty hungry so I didn't bother complaining, and it was still tasty enough but it was also served on a blisteringly hot cast iron skillet so I'm wondering if that affected it. My partner also ordered steak and they were cooked perfectly to his liking and served on a proper plate. We both opted to have the beef gravy with our steaks and it was absolutely gorgeous, if you like gravy I highly recommend it. Overall it was a nice meal out, will definitely be visiting again soon. (Toilets were also lovely and clean!)

Me and my family always go to the meadow lark for food and it's always amazing. Recently I had my engagement gathering there and I couldn't thank the staff enough for everything they had done for us ❤️ they decorated our tables and chairs and made us feel extremely welcome and special, I couldn't have made the day as special without their help ❤️ I 1000% recommend here ❤️

Very noisy place, too many disruptive children. We came as a group of 4 and was seated on a less than adequate table, it was Mother's Day though but it wasn't overly busy and there was other bigger tables available and not reserved. The food was simply a pub meal served on a cast iron skillet, nothing special. I did enjoy the salmon though, it was cooked nicely. Our food came before our drinks which made no sense whatsoever and we had to ask as they had all been offered together. Would I return? Probably not but it was nice to experience somewhere different.

Staff confused because we ordered 2 lemonades with a coffee and tea for 2 people. The burger I ordered was well over cooked and hard to chew. Staff were polite and friendly enough but I won't eat the food again. Just didn't enjoy the experience at all.

The Management Should Not Allow People To Queue In A Line This Situation Just Creates A Bad Atmosphere When The Regular Visitors Just Head To The Bar Corner And Get Served Also Ideally People Wanting To Order Food Should Have A Different Till. NOT A VERY GOOD RUN PUB

The starter was nice , the main was nice apart from the chips being warm not hot and onions boiled not fried. And one dessert missing off menu . But staff and cleanliness were 5/5 Need chips hot

Decent enough food and a clean enough pub had the chicken curry I was impressed for a pub.

Just popped in no reservation, we had a voucher to spend from Christmas. Really really good food , we ordered loads of starters. I would definitely recommend, the only thing was what time the kitchen closes , it needs to be more clear .

Been here twice in the past week for the sizzler meals with Groupon deals. Have to say they were fabulous. First time I had the salmon and then had the Jerk chicken skewers. The mushroom starters were fabulous too. The meals were served fairly quickly and the staff very pleasant too. We will return soon!

Booked a table for a date night only to be told there was a 2hour wait for food, Really didnt expect this after a table was booked. Very disappointed.

Poor service, menus items not available. Parts of dishes missing stale naan bread, no apologies don't seem to care anymore, been going down hill for months. Complain and they argue back, might never go back to our local

The food was good but not as described on the menu. Staff rushed off their feet and confused. 4 of us at the table 3 had finished food before other arrived. 2 dip and cluck no cheese or gravy. Eton Mess no meringue and nothing like one on the next table. After Eight dessert substituted with dark chocolate. These issues were all brought to the attention of staff but we felt so sorry for them as only young and not their fault so said we would just eat what we had been given.
