Staff was wonderful and definitely need a pay rise. Dealing with a man and a knife 🔪 there honestly needs security at this pub. WE DID NOT FEEL SAFE HEAR. I personally wouldn't visit Hear or Dudley again. Not a safe place to be. As I say the staff was wonderful doing a fantastic job in trying to protect customers but it honestly needs security

Food was lovely and hot, even the peas 🙊. Service was spot on my only issue.is with the ladies toilet and this is no reflection on wetherspoons but on the 'ladies' that had used toilets.

Popped in today 30/11/24 3pm, service not great, the bar staff more interested in talking to each other than focusing on the customers. The management needs to step up and change this. They sell pints on tap sometimes, but you usually have to have your choice of beverage topped up to the full amount as some of the staff have not been trained to pull a full pint it would seem.

We had a good meal , was a couple people in in but wasn't too busy at the time i went . Thursday 11am late breakfast . Staff were friendly enough prices was sensible and food was nice 🤙

Ok pub but in desperate need of a refurb!!!

Staff were really friendly and service was excellent. The food and drink is very good value for money and is cheaper than most other Wetherspoons. The traditional breakfast was tasty, served hot and exactly how I ordered it. I would recommend this Wetherspoons to others.

Having gone in with a friend for a cuppa and catch up, ended up ordering food - as you do! Refillable coffee is always a no-brainer, food was as to be expected for the price, no frills, palatable etc. The surprising thing was that given how busy the pub was and food orders were being continuously placed, the staff coped admirably with a steady stream to and from the kitchen and minimal waiting for drinks (as my friend would attest to)

Staff pleasant as always, disappointed that a beer advertised on the app was not on, it was still advertised as being on while I was sat in pub with a different beer. ☹️

Good friendly atmosphere and quick service

The food was pretty nice but that refused to accommodate my 12 wheelchair bound cousins

The tables aren't always cleared away very well and usually need wiping down even in the middle of the day when it's not as busy, but food can be pretty quick to come and well presented. We did find the servers and bar tenders to be far to chatty on our last visit and had to wait a fair while just to have them turn around and take our orders.

I think it's the best pub around Dudley. Just luv to drink in ere. Got a good selection of ales. Great bar staff and always red hot food on a hot plate served to your table. Cracking staff love them all. They even got my mild on sale here. Ruby mild it's just outta this world and all for 99p a pint of worthingtons...

Enorme, muchísimas mesas. Tal vez no tan típico pub si eso es lo que buscas. Sobre todo restaurante. Buena sopa de tomate

Staff are amazing, going back for a weekend, Perry Barr is my home but this is second on the list.

One of The chefs here cooks steaks really well. If you ask for medium rare, that's exactly what you get, never over done. Better than a lot of the speciality steak houses.

Current promotions make this venue an absolute must, with full English breakfasts from £2.25, pints from 99p and unlimited hot drinks £1.04. It's simply unbeatable. Usual Wetherspoon plus points: private alcoves, charging points at some tables, huge selection of food and drinks at great prices if you choose wisely. Food is hot, good quality and is brought within minutes. Plentiful selection of guest ales and cider. The staff are ok but not over welcoming/friendly unless you're a known local. Disabled toilet. As with most 'spoons, the tables/menus are often sticky so I take a couple of cloths! Overall, 5 stars. It's a no brainer compared to other venues.

Cheap prices on drinks and food. They always have some kind of deal on food. Great atmosphere too.

I liked this pub which was clean and inexpensive. Staff were cheerful. There were some fantastic food offers today but it was too hot to eat. The pub was nicely air conditioned, however.

7. Probably eat here abit too much but can never mian at the prices. 6. Breakfast again, good as always. 2 orders for the same table but the order that went in second came out first. Leaving us waiting another 10 mins for our order to come out. 5. BREAKFAST good as always. Staff always happy to swap out the things i dont want a the breakfast for things i do. 4.Quick bit of lunch. Cant complain everything came as ordered. Nice quick service when using the app. 3.Freedom breakfast no more... swapped eggs for toast, swapped the bacon for maple bacon, swapped tomato for extra beans and a sprinkle of grated cheese topped it off. Delicious. 2.Service was ok apart from I got my breakfast, another table at the other end of the room then got there's then, finally our table got the rest of our food.. baring in mind we got asked if everything was OK with our food in the middle of this.. not really as one of us didn't even have food and I was being polite, while mine got cold waiting for the other to come out. 1.Even when we answered no were still waiting for another breakfast he said, I know, I'm getting it now 🤦🏾‍♀️

Typical Weatherspoons with good breakfast options and their free refills on tea and coffee. The beer selection was, as usual, very comprehensive. We visited for a late breakfast. It was hot, wholesome, and served by friendly staff.

went to this wetherspoons and it's absolutely awful we went to the bar to get food I ordered and small cold chicken wrap and didn't get listened to and instead got charged for a large and didn't get a drink even though it's included and they wouldn't give it to me as I said I didn't want one but then I changed my mind and went up to the bar and explained but they wouldn't give me the drink.don't recommend coming here.

Happened a few times now, no Carling available in a Wetherspoons is not good management!!! When it is available the price changes from one week to the next, very poorly run pub

The barman with red hair is really rude. He doesn’t smile and doesn’t acknowledge you when bringing food or drinks over. I couldn’t care less if he doesn’t like me for some reason but it’s basic customer service skills to be polite.

Good clean carpet and pub, as normal toilets are on another level , downstairs here. Good clean coffee machine area and bar. This spoons is a long narrow pub sloping down to a kind if a sun room, big windows etc and street with a parking area opposite. Great pub

So the bar is great, staff are great and customers are great! BUT the food isn't great, had a burger which was very VERY dry! But they are perfect for drinks!

Went there with work colleagues, our first time, we've been too several Wetherspoon pubs , layout the same, staff friendly and on the ball, well cooked food. On our list to go regularly

Probably one of the best Wetherspoons locally! Friendly staff and disability confident. Very rare you have a problem when you go in there.

I was in here saturday night before easter and there was a guy wearing fake clothes got a big head like a tic tac causing abit of trouble heard they banned him 😆 good 👍

Full moon In Dudley was exactly what you would expect from a wetherspoons, reasonable priced food and drink, and that familiar decor. Typical patrons and that little bit of an in-between atmosphere could be great but it's just OK. Had the mixed grill which is always a great choice , and a pint so can't complain especially for the price.

Was really shocked sat down at a table for 10 mins no other bags/coats there to be told food and drinks had allready been ordered at this table. No apology even though we had ordered food had to move tables. Was not aware that bar staff seem to reserve tables for certain customers. Food portions very small food not outstanding. Quite outdated and grubby. Needs a refurb some very drunk overly noisy people.

Was quiet, drinks a little slow service wise but friendly a d apologies for wait. Food was hot and good.

Great service a lady with darker hair served us , was problem with the food but she sorted it out for us , made sure everything was good till we left . We really appreciate the service as it was amazing !

Nice traditional Wetherspoons but didn’t feel to have the same selection of ales from others I have been to. The whole place could do with an update but that’s most of these pubs now.

Didn't eat here stopped off for hot chocolate after a very cold Remembrance parade. Due to the parade the pub was very busy and there are only 2 hot drink machines in the premises, I alone was doing 6 drinks so kept one machine busy for a few minutes, but then one machine ran out of chocolate and the other coffee! Would only probably return for a similar reason.

This is always a good place to stop for a drink or a drink and a meal. The meals always come hot and taste great. For the price you can't go wrong. The only little issue I have is the toilets need more regular cleaning as they do smell somewhat and door disinfected more often as fingerprints everywhere. Also hand sanitizers always empty.

I went there with my sister on 22nd September (my birthday)! She come down specially; i told her about this place that the food was great (Especially the fish n' chips)!!!😊 she really enjoyed it! !!😊

I’ll be honest the staff here are quite friendly cause I’ve been in other Wetherspoons across the country some of the staff in those ones can be rude miserable and don’t acknowledge you when bringing over food and drinks. Some of them have attitude with you so I’m quite impressed with this one! Only downside is you have drunks swearing and kicking off at staff. Me and my friend had 2 guys which I assume they’d been drinking that had tried to make fun of us and laughing at us which we just ignored as they’re looking for a reaction…

Great place for quick service friendly staff and clean environment.

There are some nice staff there but you're lucky if you get any acknowledgement or decent service from the bald guy in the white shirt. He looked at me, poured my drink, set up the card transaction and took the payment without saying a word. I was friendly and polite when ordering, but was instantly made to feel unwelcome for no reason. Disgusting and ignorant service from an industry that is struggling to rebound after the pandemic. Two stars for the decent staff who work there.

Unfortunately the cellar was being refitted while we were there, so no draught beer was available. Tried some of the ales, which were good and great prices. Didn't eat here. Toilets could do with a few quid spent on them. Would recommend a visit 👍

Don't come here often but unlike a lot of other weatherspoons the food comes out cooked, tasting great and completely fresh. Definitely recommend over any other in the Dudley and Merry Hill area

Visited 22/4/23 this place was very busy and it wasn't even 12pm serving lots of breakfasts families out enjoying time together.

Eggs was over cook but over all wore a bad breakfast

5 stars, this was the best quality value steak meal i have had in any restraunt anywhere. Including a great choice of drinks.Cut above the rest.

Food was cold again, don't know why i bother. Foul language from customers it should be a place where you can eat and have a drink.
