Carvery was missing half the items as they had “run out” but we wasn’t made aware of this before we spent £77, they offered us 10% off due to the missing items then proceeded to say they couldn’t put the 10% off on the desserts the manager on duty at 4:10 pm had a serious attitude problem and the way she spoke to us was not acceptable I will never be stepping foot in here again customer service is appalling all the staff seemed like they didn’t want to be there and made us seem so small I wouldn’t go there

Popped in for a drink, and the guy at the bar was nice and polite, but it really isn't a pub.... it's a carvery restaurant. The one ale that was on offer (Wainwright's Gold) really was less than average, and the Pinot grigio wasn't great. At £13 for the 2 drinks, it was pretty pricey. We didn't eat, but the food on display looked OK-ish. If you like a good beer or wine and some nice food, in a bar/pub with a bit of atmosphere, sorry, but I honestly can't recommend it.

As always the staff were incredibly helpful and patient. The table we wanted to sit at was the only one with plates and food left on it. Staff immediately cleared and cleaned it for us. Food was really good value for money. Great place to visit

Popped in for lunch on Christmas eve. The fries served were covered in black bits from the dirty oil in the fryer. I mentioned this as I'm Coeliac and concerned the fryer had been used for something else. The bar staff checked and said it hadn't but the chefs should be ashamed of themselves for sending fries out that had been cooked in such dirty oil.

First time booking Christmas Day dinner. No choice of meat given and the meat on the plate was not good at all. Vegetables looked and tasted like they were cooked 3 days previous. The tables were sticky and dirty. A good thing was the young lad serving us. He was brilliant and for that we tipped him. Norton Grange also gave us a large container for all the food we had left so we could take some back for the dogs!

Good meeting up with family at Norton Grange today. It was a lovely atmosphere the food was good but could have been a bit hotter. The service was good, all waiters/waitresses were very friendly and pleasant. We had the seasonal menu, Christmas roast with all the trimmings. Thank you.

The Norton Grange was serving due to their breakfast with santa whilst we were passing and they kindly let us come in for breakfast before the place was open :) Food arrived to our table in about 10 minutes yet was still fresh, portion sizes were absolutely amazing and they offered a takeaway box for us to take away our leftovers as I wasn’t expecting the large breakfast to have so much for the price it was! The staff were so friendly, joyful and attentive I can only say we will 100% be returning

Probably the worst carvery we ever had.nobe of us could stomach the very dry turkey or ham. Sprouts looked old and not very tasty. The cauliflower cheese was brown. Carrots were OK and the parsnips.ok peas ok.my pigs in blankets were the worst i have ever eaten. My grand daughter had one little taste of what she had on her plate spit it back out. So we ordered a burger same again. The bottles of wine £22 are more than of what you can buy in evesham . Sauvignon Blanc £17.99 Zinfandel £15,49. Strawberry fields We spent around £220 -£250 certainly not worth the the price. There was a couple arguing at he carvery maybe same problems as us.we will not be going back there ever again. Terrible food & expensive wine. Try strawberry fields good food good atmosphere and £13 for a bottle of wine Did get the price wrong on wine as there was a pint of beer.but everything else I said is 💯 accurate. Out of our group of 4 adults one child we thaught it was best that only I would leave feedback. Otherwise you would have had 4 bad reviews. The wine is cheaper in the other pubs. Norto grange price (Bottle Zinfandel bottle of Sauvignon Blanc 1 beer 1 lemonade. £56 )

We as a family of 15, 8 Adults and 7 children have just experienced breakfast with Santa. As you first walk in ,it was a little confusing as what we did or where do we sit or what happens. However Santa was there as we approached the seating area and really made us feel welcomed especially the children. He interacted well with the children and the Adults . We then had our breakfast brought to our table and you went to the bar for drinks. The food was lovely and good amount. (Set menu). Afterwards Santa collected our children to give them a lovely gift (not going to spoil the surprise). Her there was plenty opportunities to have photos with Santa by the christmas tree and sleigh. It was my grandaughters 7th Birthday and Santa led the Happy Birthday song. Then Sarah the manager came and asked for our feedback as it was the first time the event had taken place. We gave our input and she was more than happy taking on board our few negitivities. Sarah said our suggestions would be incoporated into next year's Christmas breakfast. On the whole the children loved the experience and that's what it was for. They had attention from Santa , they had a lovely gift. Enjoyed family time and it was a lovely build up to the Christmas celebrations . Food was lovely. Few niggles isn't there always ,confusion when entering. Set menu. Refreshments were separate no Tea / coffe with breakfast. Butter placed on hot food so just oil. Lack of Christmas decorations .Tables not decorated so didn't really grab the essence of a Christmas theme. But overall I would give it 7 out of 10. Santa was excellent. Gift excellent. Children were very happy. Customer service was good. Sarah was lovely and she promised to address our feedback within her capabilities. So I promised to go back next year and looked forward to the inprovements. Small details could make it magical. I would like to end this by saying Thank You we felt very welcomed and the children loved it .

We went to the Norton Grange 15th Nov en-route on our way home. The pub was empty so plenty of free tables. I had a carvery which was awful, the meat was dry + chewy. Only beef + gammon available both were very dried up. The rest of the meal was not nice I ended up leaving most of it. I got 50% off but not worth spending the other 50% on it. My husband had the smothered chicken. The chicken was dry + only 9 chips, over cooked tomato, 1 onion rings. Very poor quantity I thought it was a child's meal. Overpriced for what u get. Would not recommend to anyone.

Had a carvery lunch at Norton Grange today, somewhat reluctantly after a poor experience in the summer....pleasantly surprised to find it outstandingly good!Gorgeous, perfectly cooked & generous portions from beef and gammon joints and a wide choice of vegetables which were well cooked and beautifully presented. The new head chef has made a massive difference to the food quality and it is unrecognisable from what was on offer a few months ago. Prompt and friendly service and a relaxed atmosphere. Spread the word, the Norton Grange is back!

Came as a party of 8, for Birthday celebration, the young man was very polite, and even let us more tables to one that had lighting above it. However the menu has now changed so much & many of the old favourites were no longer available for younger people. When the food arrived the steaks where not cooked to how had been requested, blood in well done steaks. All the little garnishing has disappeared like abit of salad with breaded mushrooms, very basic presentation. The staff were the best part of the evening sorry to say this place has gone downhill, the drinks are expensive, you have offers on spirits but charge almost as much glasses of coke, which is a shame as we are locals.

We went there for our tea( dinner if southern). I had the spacey burger and wife got medium carvery. While eating her meal she had to remove numerous small flies From her food I reported this to the person behind the bar She apologised and explained they were having a problem with drains on the property but the attempted repair failed. She took the plates away still apologising but at no point were we asked if we required partial refund due to one of the meals being left Sorry but this is unacceptable customer service. We have not been here for a few years, so thought we would give it another try. Shame to say not a good meal unfortunately. For a Saturday evening it was very quiet. The Carvery looked dried up, so had a meal off the menu. Sadly items overcooked, some of the garlic bread was rock hard, mixed grill only the sausages were not overcooked and the peas were grey, guess they had been on the carvery all day? Could not hear waiting staff when trying to discuss issues due to the live music, but they did not seem interested anyway. Such a shame.

Great ending to a long day. A good meal was needed and a good meal we got! Had the kiddos with us, 4 and 8 years old. All meals were good, children completely polished theirs off. I was pleased to find I could double up the chicken on my southern fried chicken burger and what a scrumptious burger it was. Hunters chicken was also thoroughly enjoyed. Finished with puddings which again were polished off. Main reason for leaving review however is the absolute top notch service from Amarion, he served us at all occasions of the evening and even checked in at table. Great representation for the pub!!

There was an organised bikers night which made the place buzz with people and low key outside music which s good to see the space being used and people coming in. The menu looked really nice, but the standard of the food wasn't good enough. We deliberately came after the lunch rush for the carvery, but what was left was overheated by the lamps and there were very few roast potatoes left. The turkey was dry and the 'slices' just crumbled before the server could put the on the plate. The staff were all very young and a bit clueless, apart from the red headed girl behind the bar, she was a bit more with it and chatty. My son enjoyed his burger so it wasn't a complete waste of time. It's a nice looking pub from the outside, but the decor inside is very dated and in need of an overhaul

Carrots where rock hard, beef was un edible, gammon was burnt,Yorkshire pudding dissintergrated into dust, mash potatoe had a hard skin over the top !! We went to the carvery counter at 12:10pm (40 minutes after opening). There was only one other couple in the restaurant at the time. When we arrived at counter we were very surprised to see the meat which was very dry and, in my opinion, was left overs from the day before. The beef was 2 inches left at the of the joint, the turkey not much more and the gammon was so dry it was turning brown! The server attempted to cut the beef and it was painful to watch. It was impossible for him to cut a slice because it was too small and also he was trying to cut it so thin. He even commented "oh dear it is just breaking up". The turkey was very similar. What we ended up with was shavings which were very dry and inedible. Indeed my husband was just given the end of the beef joint as it was impossible for the server to carve and it was all fat and he left on the plate. We did point out to the server that it was not good but he continued to give us what was there. The stuffing was a few crumbs in the bowl which were very dry and served to us by the carver and also inedible. The majority of the veg was luke warm and the roast potatoes looked like they had been there a while. We did complain on the day and just told "oh sorry". We have regularly visited this restaurant in the past but was very disappointed in their response when we highlighted the issues. Overall an awful experience

Refund was given after 10 mins and a lot of back and forth because they couldnt find the manager (we had seen the manager come in and sit at the back with an indian take away 20 mins prior). Honestly dissapointingly slow and poor quality. Staff seem to have no idea what they are doing. Seems more like a staff hang out spot than a resturant. Shame to see it go downhill as used to be beautiful.

Worst carvery we have ever had. Most of it was inedible. Gravy was cold, so asked for new gravy. They bought out the same gravy, still cold. Yorkshire pudding was crispy and crumbly like ash, roast potatoes were rubbery, stuffing was like a rock. Meat was half decent. Service was slow and shocking, quite rude. Wish we had read the reviews before we visited and wasted money here.

The staff were nice but the food and drink was not so, the chicken burger was greasy and very little flavour the rice with the curry was very dry, the beavertown ale and morreti were borderline fizzy and very little to no flavour at all, such a disappointment when I remember the Norton for good food etc many years ago.

Absolutely awful from start to finish.... made to feel unwelcome, a nuisance for complaining about our food , service and poor quality of food..... the staff are very poorly trained and have no idea of proper customer service or care. We went for a birthday celebration today, we have used the pub on many occasions previously for family get together and today was my daughter in laws birthday, there were 11 of us, we asked to be sat outside as it was a nice day.... we had booked.... this was an issue. There was no organisation of staff, their manners were appalling, our parry were greeted by the chef at the carvery saying "what?".... We complained that our food didn't come together, there was an hour between the 1st dish coming out and the last one being served..... the food was very poor quality, the steak was inedible, the burgers were pink, veg was over cooked and cold, the salad garnish was limp.... We tried approaching the "duty" manager Milly to complain, she was not interested, didn't know how to handle the complaint and was clearly well out of her depth as a "manager.", no genuine interest or apology or anything of a resolution was offered, we suggested a couple of complementary desserts would be welcome.., but she said she didnt know anything about our complaint and staff had not said anything.. despite us having spoken to atleast 4 different staff members, Lucky We did manage to get some of the food refunded by another member of staff... the staff were just following each other around like sheep.... didn't appear to know what they should be doing, it's clearly very poorly run and the actual main manager was no where to be seen....even though I asked totally oblivious to anything going on in their pub. We were not the only ones complaining... there must have been 10 other customers complaining about the food, staff, service....lack of it, poor quality and value for money. ... that must tell you something, and I am sure the amount of refunds will be a clue too!! It was a shame to be honest we have been on previous occasions and it's always been fine.

Awful food, horrendous service. Wasn't even busy. Carvery was really poor and the server didn't seem to know carve meat. My 81 year mother burned her hand on a serving spoon because the carvery heat lamps were too high, hence dried out veg.. The manger will respond post, however they cannot justify the level or quality of food or service they advertise.

We had a very poor experience. The service at the bar was very slow, and there were no soft drinks available on tap. We were charged an extortionate amount for two cans of lukewarm Pepsi. It got worse from there. Two of us ordered a carvery and the others ordered from the main menu. Despite being told that the staff would let us know when to go up to the carvery, this didn't happen and then this meant that half of the table had finished their meals while the others still queued up for the extremely slow carvery. The carvery meals were very poor quality- it was disappointing. When we asked who was in charge, the staff member didn't know who the manager was! Instead, a young man called Amari came to our table and offered a refund. My husband went with him to the bar, only for Amari to change his mind about refunding the two meals. Instead, he refunded only one meal even though it was clear that very little food had been eaten. We subsequently found from another member of staff that Amari was not the manager- he was the son of the owner of the pub and didn't seem to know what he was doing. This explained why the service, food quality and overall experience was so poor. We now have to email Marstons and complain. We will not be going back.

Poor staff attitude. A certain staff member decided to argue over the other side of the bar whilst serving another customer that the lasanage does include garlic bread but as I had paid a £3 charge to add chips it meant garlic bread would no longer be included, however the menu does not state this. The attitude of the member of staff was appalling he must of stood there and argued with me telling me I was wrong and he was write for over 5 minutes. Will not be returning again, expensive and dead and definitely not worth the money!

Live review at 19.25pm 2/8/24 Booked a table for 7 adults & 3 children to celebrate my 36th wedding anniversary. The staff were really polite & courteous. I asked if the bacon was smoked & was told yes so decided on another meal to be told they could supply un-smoked. After placing the order the server informed me that there would be an extra charge for the un-smoked when questioned they would not back down so order changed & £0.40 refunded. To top that 1 of our party ordered the lasagne (that came with garlic bread) she ordered chips at an extra charge of £3. When the meal came there was no garlic bread. When asked was told if you had chips you didn't get the garlic bread? After arguing they finally agreed. The manager needs to have a bit more about him £140 spent .....will not be returning

My friend and myself meet at Norton every month for a catch up. In previous months things had gone down hill a bit under the previous manager. However things are changing! We met last night and had a lovely meal. Some of the staff are being trained which is fine ( we all have to learn) and the manager is lovely. A great evening. Give it a try.

Nice food at a reasonable price. Just wish the service was a little quicker. I will definitely be back though, worth the wait.
