Superb service...really good food

I was anxious about coming as I had just broken my ankle but the staff were very accommodating, giving us an accessible table near the door. The service and food was all very good too.

Served by Sam L who had a fabulous awareness of Neurodivergence and made our visit really special. Thank you lovely lady. Food was amazing too xx

Wow, this place has certainly turned around from a year ago. The ambience, the service, thanks to the amazing Sam, despite being run of her feet, was efficient, polite and so professional. The food , we had the Lamb Shank and the Pie of the day, both were outstanding. We give it 10/10 and highly recommend. Maybe another waitress might take the pressure of the other staff members, just an observation. Thank you and we will definitely be back.

My wife and I went here for a late lunch with her nieces from Australia, and we had top quality service from sam.l and the rest of the team who work hard at the nightingale 👏👏my pizza was wonderful and I had to take some home as it was a very large 😁😋thanks again 😃

Sam L our waitress was outstanding, helpful, friendly and caring even though she was rushed off her feet in a very busy restaurant. Unfortunately the food was very disappointing and not up to the usual standard (we do visit often). The food was overcooked as if it had been standing for a while, missing items and unappetising appearance.

Food was great. The ambiance was lovely. Ciara our waitress was really polite and attentive. Would recommend. Allows dogs which is a bonus.

Had a lovely Sunday lunch. Food was well cooked. Lovely traditional pub atmosphere but what stood out was the friendly professional way all the staff conducted themselves. Ciara was our main server and she was faultless and we'll deserved a tip.

Had a lovely meal .Nadine was really nice and friendly. We had money off mains voucher and a gift card which was no trouble to use at all . I had the sea bass which was beautiful my husband had the steak sandwich followed by crème brûlée and fruit crumble. I would highly recommend and will definitely go back

My wife and I went to the Nightingale last night for a meal. We were served by Georgia who was lovely in every way. The pub has a friendly atmosphere and the pub itself is spacious but cosy, I can imagine it would be lovely at Christmas with the open fire going. The food was delicious. We will definitely be going there again.

Was recommended the nightingale from a friend that said it was lovely food and a menu to suit everyone's needs. I arrived to friendly staff and was shown to my table right away, lots of choice on the menu and many choices for drinks at the bar. The food was amazing and a good price for such good quality and care. Highly recommend this to any occasion or age group. 10/10

Food was very. My grandson loves it

This was our first visit but definitely not our last ! We loved the variety of the lunchtime menu, the interior of the pub is really well designed and decorated and we realised how local it is. Our2 course lunch was served quickly, the food was hot and lovely and our service from Sam L was brilliant. Thank you, see you soon.

Hadn't been here for ages but, prompted by a voucher, 3 of us had lunch. Good and friendly service, such is quite rare these days. All 3 of us enjoyed our choice of food, Chicken Caesar Salad, Sea Bass, and Chicken Pie. Nice to have the option of coffee with mini pudding. We will return. Sadly, we've now had 2 poor visits in a row to this once reliable restaurant, hence reduced star rating. Steak pie with tough, poor quality meat, chicken and pancetta pie with no pancetta. Chips and vegetables served cold, slow service, cold espresso etc. No longer on our regular list, sadly.

Nice pub, disappointed with the gluten and wheat options, even what they offer they cook with the other food when it should be kept separate, staff where not over helpful, just feel like your a problem,

**Rating: ★★☆☆☆** We've dined at the Nightingale Inn on Evesham Road several times in the past and always enjoyed our visits, but our experience today was quite disappointing. The service was lacking, with the staff member who brought our food appearing rather disinterested. We had to ask for condiments, which should have been provided automatically. As for the food, it was a letdown. The lasagna seemed like it had been frozen and lacked the freshness we'd expect. The steak sandwich was both chewy and overly crispy, and the chips were undercooked. Even our Labrador, who usually loves beef, refused to eat the lasagna, which says a lot about the quality. On a positive note, the garden setting remains lovely and provided a pleasant atmosphere. However, it's disheartening to see the overall standards slipping at a place we've previously enjoyed. I hope the Nightingale Inn can make improvements, as it would be a shame to see it continue on this downward trend.

I have came here before and the food was good and it was a nice atmosphere but this time the food was not very pleasant and our server seemed like she didn't want to be there she rolled her eyes at us and was rude. So unfortunate that such a nice place isn't very nice anymore.

Slow service. Undercooked peas. Only one real ale working.

Disappointed that the lamb wasn’t available, as 4 out of 5 from our party would have ordered this. However, overall food and service was good. No steak and ale pie as well.

Nice looking pub but service was really poor. Took ages to be seated, left waiting at the door as staff members walked past various times. Drinks and food were slow to come out. A few times when extra drinks, condiments or an additional order was placed the staff members seemed annoyed, at one point a female staff member tutted and rolled her eyes. It wasn’t particularly busy, servers seemed like they didn’t really want to be there which made for a bit of an uncomfortable setting. Shame as it’s a pretty looking place with good potential.

Food was OK pie was dry. Don't come here if you ar hungry taken nearly 1 hour to get food. It wouldn't of been to bad iff they was busy

Food was delicious and good portion sizes. The atmosphere was noisy due to a large party right next to us making a lot of noise. Service was good apart from them bringing mains before taking starter plates away.

Disappointing starter little sauce too dip bread, Main bass excellent though Shortbread biscuit not good must have forgot sugar no resemblance of being a biscuit Surroundings, sat by window dirty, holes Plugged with tissue needs a bit of redecorating

Slow on drink service, we waited an hour for food and when my lamb arrived it was extremely dry...not impressed and i won't return!

A family meal with excellent table service, friendly staff and excellent food… booked a table in advanced as seated very quickly, our waitress was very friendly and efficient with taking our orders, food was excellent and large portions. Definitely worth coming here for a meal as either a couple or family meals

Had a very long relaxing lunch with my family yesterday, the food, the Guinness, and the staff were all excellent. I wish this fab pub was within walking distance from my house.

Lovely restaurant decor, wonderful outside covered eating area, nice welcome ambience, good food menu and wonderful member of Staff who attended to our needs.

Had the burger..looks impressive but tasteless and cheap meat. Very disappointing. Service was great, very friendly and efficient. Could be a great place if the food was better quality. Won’t be going back due to that.

Lovely interior, lots of different seating areas. We went for lunch on a Monday, so not overly busy. Staff all very friendly, food good with a lot of choice.

First time here in a long time and we were welcomed by staff in a warm and friendly way. Food and drinks were adequate if a little expensive for a country pub.

Friendly staff, however, our meal took longer than expected to arrive. When it did arrive I had to find a waitress to bring additional mushrooms etc that were forgotten. My wife's lamb was badly undercooked and almost raw. The waitress did offer to take it back and cook it some more but we declined as we would now have to wait in order to eat our meals at the same time. The tenderstem brocoli on the menu, mysteriously turned into soggy green beans on arrival at the table. All in all it was a birthday meal that disappointed us.

We were in the area, & popped in on a Saturday afternoon, asked a member of staff [lola] if a table was available & she quickly allocated us to a table & took our orders. The quality of the food was superb , Along with the atmosphere of the pub. The service from lola [brilliant] the food is exquisite & the atmosphere was lovely .we will definitely be back & will be telling family & friends to go & try it as its definitely worth a try

Unfortunately a very poor experience, I had to ask to have a menu then I had to ask for our order to be taken when the meal arrived I was given pork instead of lamb and had to wait for the Lamb to be cooked, the vegetables were hard and over cooked and found it very difficult to cut the roast potatoes, I asked for a drink three times before it got to the table and twice for the bill witch I finally paid at the bar. Not going back.

Had the chicken and leek pie, one of the nicest things I have ever eaten.

Very let down my husband booked here for a surprise birthday gift. Starter was ok but tasteless , had Hunters chicken for main course when it arrived I could see it looked burnt , it was so burnt that I couldn’t even cut into it all I had was a rock hard , I informed waitress who replied it is crispy I’m sure she could see all the hard dark brown bits , I ate the chips & the couple of lettuce leaves.My husband’s gammon wasn’t nice he left half.We asked for a reduction in the bill the only thing that was offered was the cost of the two drinks deducted from the bill , my birthday was spoilt & a £60 bill , we will not be returning no wonder it was so quiet in the restaurant.

Called in for Sunday Lunch with the idea of a roast. Lovely greeting by the staff, then things started to go downhill. We were shown to a table which was totally unacceptable, straight by the till and the exit or entry to I presume the kitchens, plus it was so dark you would have needed a torch to read the menu. Asked to be moved, no problem another table was cleaned for us. Ordered two roasts but noticed garlic potatoes (an English roast with garlic whoever thought that one up) so asked for plain new potatoes, no problem the lovely waitress said. My good lady has a problem with garlic you see. Move on 5 mins when the waitress returned to inform us unfortunately the gravy has garlic in it and as everything is cooked in the same utensils there may be traces of garlic in other produce, this was the point we decided to eat elsewhere. Why a small amount of plain gravy could not have been made I have no idea (ever heard of gravy granules, gravy in 2 mins) surely a bit of customer service and everything sorted. I understand and agree with your alegie awareness, 5 stars to the waitress for being concerned however that didn't help our need for a roast lunch or should I say Vintage Inns didn't help in our hour off need. I write this not as a complaint as I'm sure the food would have been great however a table should never be that close to tills and doors, 1 star for the table position and maybe the menu people should realise that some people just like simple Sunday roasts and a plain roast offered as an alternative. Didn't particularly fancy anything else. I'm sure we will visit again when I've got over being Mr Grumpy but not for a roast unless my comments raise concerns and an alternative plain roast is on offer.

Sunday lunch was perfect. I had the turkey and my Husband had the chicken Schnitzel. Very tasty. Lovely, laid-back atmosphere. Very enjoyable.

Our group of three have lunch at The Nightingale regularly. We cannot speak highly enough of Sam L who looks after us beautifully. We couldn't ask for a better experience and definitely return because of Sam. We enjoy a very good light lunch and pleasant surroundings.

On our way to Bowbrook campsite, meeting point for 2 motorhomes. Did a bit of research and seen good reviews so booked for birthday lunch. Really nice

Came here on the way back home from a day out. Fanatic place! Passed it many times but didn't realise how beautiful it was. Had my little girl with me and was welcomed. Food was brilliant in my eyes each to there own depending on how snobby you are but this is right up your street good food!! I rate this place and will be coming back to me and my family great!!
