Lovely staff and a great pint! Food was fantastic too, plenty to choose from. Clean tables and floor as well. I was served by a few different members of staff, I think one was called Ashton (young lad) and the other Kim (young blonde woman). Quick friendly service and I'd definitely be back again!

Really nice family place to go the only negative thing is you have to go up to the bar yourself to order. As well as been my local place it is a really good place to go.

The atmosphere is lovely when entering the pub. Option of inside and outside where everyone is friendly. Staff are very polite. Children are welcome and good choice of food options for variety of needs.

Just leaving the place now, went with partner got 2 tomahawks and 2 drinks ordered at table though app, 25min-30min later food came but still received no drinks? Said to the young lad still not got no drinks he said were busy bare with us and walked off, I looked at the bar not even busy then seen the lad doing the drinks himself, came over with drinks eventually. we both said thanks, he just walked off, table next to us with another couple who we don't know, looked and said that's rude in it me and my partner said we know yea, didn't even say sorry or nothing. Smile and a sorry would of been nice

Food was average at best, only had a burger but it was tough and was a bit of a mess with sauce all over the place Reserved a table to arrive and it had 3 blokes sat in it and they left all their dirty glasses and tobacco crap on the table If I'm honest the place was a bit of a dive I would avoid in future

Food was good but chips could have been warmer. Service was excellent. The choice of food was good. The toilets were very clean and well maintained. Tables were clean and well not sticky as you find in some places.

Enjoyed the whole experience, food tasty, good variety- portions a little small all 6 of us agreed but I think this maybe to keep the prices down. Nice experience though.

I've only been here once, despite it being the closest pub, as it doesn't welcome dogs. I took the grandkids, who wanted to go to McDonald's. I had a mixed grill, it was decent. My 6 year old granddaughter gave it the ultimate compliment, " I never knew pub food could taste so good", and has asked for a return visit.

Can't say I've tried any of the food in years so can't really comment, however, great pub for some good reasonably priced drinks!

Visited yesterday and was served by Kim who was very polite and helpful with the sizzling app. Thank you Kim will be coming back soon. Also the mixed grill was amazing and steak cooked perfectly.

Went with my family got there no heating working waited 45 minutes for our meal wasn't up to there standard was very disappointed we come twice a month even breakfast

It was the last Friday before Christmas so a great atmosphere, great for groups of workers, cheap food and very reasonable drink prices

Food was good but service was not so good very slow, meals came out at different times it would have been nice to eat together

I was looking forward to the traditional Christmas meal with my wife and friends at the Potters Wheel. All bookings were made from the available Party Menu 3 course, priced at £16.49. My chosen main meal was described as " FESTIVE TURKEY The Christmas classic Served with Cumberland pig in blanket, pork,sage and onion stuffing ball Yorkshire pudding roast potatoes Brussels sprouts, carrots cranberry sauce and gravy. Sadly the main component, Turkey was anything but turkey,and resembled a poor substitute and not the usually delicious meat served at Christmas time. Ok the other components of the meal, even the charred pig in blanket were acceptable. I was informed by the management that unfortunately all similar eating venues were supplied with the same "turkey" my reply was that if I had known the the real stuff was not to be had I would have chosen differently.,and she apologised.

Not great really tables were sticky, ordered chips they were good but took nearly an hour and its not like it was even busy. Staff took time to serve rather talk to each other than doing thier jobs. Will not be coming back anytime soon.

Good value food and lots of choice

First time dining here as i was invited by a friend for her birthday. great food (especially the chicken stacker burger!) and great staff who can't seem to do enough for you. The manager was great and made sure we had all we needed. I will be using this place again. It's definitely my new favourite spot

Dirty tables and cutlery disgusting food macaroni cheese like plastic kids meals awful eaten out in a lot of places this has to rate as one of the worst

Came out for an impromptu meal with my mum. Ordered our meals and drinks from the table, which was seamless. Food was good & arrived quickly.. The table was incredibly sticky so we asked for it to be cleaned. The member of staff cleaned it promptly and we were very grateful although after it dried it felt tacky again but the worst part of the visit was the wooden floors were so sticky, our feet just stuck to it. I appreciate drinks get spilt, but I'm sure they can be cleaned so customers don't stick to the floor. We will always return here, we've been visiting for years and enjoy it but we've never visited and found our feet sticking to the floor!

I went for my birthday with my daughter and the barmaid totally blanked my daughter she was serving everyone and she just looked at my daughter then looked away so we left, I was supposed because we have used the pub before and not had a issue but will not be using it again.

They’re great when celebrating birthdays too, always go above and beyond to make sure everything is lovely for birthday boy/girl. Meals always very good, hot & tasty and good value for money. We've been going to the potters wheel for many years. Food isn't always great if I'm honest but sometimes it is. Its recovering well after Covid and its always pretty busy.

My work friends and I went for tea here, lovely staff, friendly and very helpful, really good choice of menu, reasonably priced, good atmosphere.

Wouldn’t recommend, kept waiting at the bar whilst ignored by staff, witnessed others being ignored at the bar, breakfast came out incomplete with the butter for the bread under the egg so completely melted, coffee was cold. Fair to say we won’t return

Not been here for a few years but popped in today for lunch. Had the sizzling Tandoori chicken skewers and they were absolutely delicious. Cleanliness, service, atmosphere and staff were first class. Will definitely be coming again

Came for food with my boyfriend, our server was Niamh, very polite and a very kind hearted person. She made our experience x10 better and is a massive credit to your team. Staff very friendly, & informed. Venue was busy, but delivery of food, didn’t take too long. Reserved table, had a ticket, with my Christian name on, & time I booked it for, which I believe, is a nice touch.

To be honest needs new bar staff obviously not even trained right when trying get served waited for 10 mins at the bar trying get girls attention while she rolled a fag then went on to serve other people after. Won't be returning
