The venue is great. We were looking for somewhere with a playground for lunch. It’s people that provide the experience though, Kristi offered a tab without asking, set up the table inside whilst we were focused on our 4 children playing safely outside, automatically withheld the kids pudding and provided them promptly when I returned for a coffee and settled the tab. Burgers were recommended and worthy of recommendation. Great service, nice playground, reasonable prices.

Just moved to the area and tried this pub for first time. Sadly we didn't enjoy our meal. Food, in our opinion, was poor quality, and pretty tasteless. Our table was really grubby as were the toilets. Zero atmosphere. The last visit for us. Not to our taste ☹️

Came in for food around 5pm with family and friends. Needless the say the older staff member was rude, ignorant and kept walking away from people waiting the bar. Made everything seem as if it was all too much hard work, practically like a huffy teenager stamping around. And it wasn't even busy otherwise I'd have had some level of empathy. Won't be returning. Food was ok, kids enjoyed the play area.

Came to look at a new house, stopped for food, drink and games of pool. Nice pub and friendly staff.... food was really nice

The outside furniture could do with a spring refresh and the pile of horse manure adjacent to the patio would be better placed under the garden shrubs. Coffee not bad.

Beautiful place. We had a family Xmas meal from Xmas menu. Lovely cooked 3 course meal was displayed fantastic. Then there was a kids Xmas party to follow witch all kids loved and wants to attend again. Staff were very welcoming definitely recommend as a family spot. Thank you again

Was looking forward to having lunch here. Have passed by so many times but was disappointed with the quality of food. I had the chicken ham leak pie the pastry was tough and could hardly find any ham. Exchanged the mash to chips and had to pay and extra £1.50, never had to pay this in any other pub I have eaten in. My sisters mash honestly tasted like Smash for those who remember it. Not a great first experience unfortunately.

Having been to this pub previously to be told during food serving hours they had stopped serving we decided to give it another go, why bother, a half empty establishment at 3pm on a Sunday who stated as you walk in food serving hours, listening to a young lady ask for a child’s dessert for the bar staff to abruptly say no, we ask if a meal is available, guess what we walked out yet again If you want a pub that says it serves food during the day but doesn’t then The We Three is the place for you, how does it survive, positively The Druids in Llanferes was more than accommodating and the Turkey with all trimmings was exceptional

Took my family to eat there on a Saturday night. We arrived at around 7.15. Went to order drinks and the guy behind the bar was snowed under. He got my drink totally wrong. I asked him if they were still serving and he said yes. We found a table and started looking at the menu. Then around 7.30 he came to us and said the kitchen is now closed. The service is shocking. Would not recommend this place at all.

Lovely pub and decent play area for kids

First occasion took my family and was turned down as said was full. Which I understand. Second occasion I took my family again we waited nearly an hour for food and eventually had to go. We landed up taking our food with us. Then on a Saturday night at 7.30 we went again. Got our drinks and about 15 minutes later the guy came and said we have stopped serving. I literally couldn’t believe it especially for a Saturday night and at that time of the night. Absolutely terrible service. I will not ever step foot again in this pub. Management need to change. Word of advice especially over weekend get MORE Bar staff. You are loosing customers. Would I recommend this pub …. Sadly not.

I was very impressed with the Loggerheads, as they sell draught alcohol free larger, which iv not seen anywhere else. Had a couple of pints, and it tastes great.

This pub looked nice driving past so we popped in to break the journey up, it’s just a chain restaurant. Bit of a dive really. Nice enough staff, not worth the price and burnt, inedible food. There was also a delay but the waitress did keep us updated. We’d drank our drinks by the time the food had come.

Excellent night out, Jordan was very nice and served us promptly and efficiently. Most enjoyable night.

Friendly staff, plenty of TV’s, food was very good and no delay. Steak and Ale pie was excellent and Singapore noodles were tasty

Nice pub this. Good beers, looks great but food lets it down. Quality is not quite there and portions can be lacking. Food always hot but there is alot of stuff out of the freezer and fried. Compared to a Harvester or a Toby, they can't compete IMO. I eat elsewhere simply for value for money and presentation.

Just had lunch at the loggerheads oh dear we had the small plates, but oh dear when they say small they mean tiny, dolls portions. It does say on the menu small plates not starters £15 for £2 worth of food .

Bit of a mixed bag. Nice friendly staff. I had the vegan burger which was ok and the chips very nice. My wife ordered a white brie and cranberry baguette. It was listed with bacon but nothing knocked off for not having the bacon and when it arrived it was on the cheapest white bread you could imagine. Not the baguette asked for. No point asking for the baguette as my food had arrived. The waitress who took our order double checked it was for a baguette at the time. £7 for a poor white bread sandwich is not good value.

Nice Pub , beer is very pricey though. This makes me go less.

Must have been past hundreds of times, decided to stop and give it a try. Easy parking, not too busy. The barman was very helpful, good range of drinks, prices reasonable, food superb! There's a play area outside that several kids seemed to be enjoying. Would probably have stayed longer, but got tired of the racist ranting of a customer on a nearby table. That's England for you.

Very disappointed, turned up tonight for food before normal cut off time 7:45. We were told the kitchen had closed early at 7:30 tonight, bar maid said she would ask to see if they would do some more food. The answer was NO, only when I looked at my watch when we walked back to the car it was only 7:33. I mean really it must of just been 7:30 when we asked if they were still serving.

After a walk in Burnt Wood, this was just what we needed. Quick welcoming service. Excellent meals, red thai curry and fish and chips, butty bach and guinness were good. Would call again if in the area.

Went for a meal today,lovely pub grub,with one grandchild. We last lived in Loggerheads 25 years ago and are returning to live here in a couple of weeks. Years ago we never came here,didn't want to but definitely will be back with all 4 grandchildren probably 5 as another due in a month. It was lovely and our lady who served us told me about her training,didn't need to know but impressed. Grandchildren will love this place and probably our last move before we retire a lovely place to come. Relaxed .Many thanks

Had tea at the loggerheads this evening! 6 th of may, staff very friendly and helpful, food was not good! Onion rings you break your teeth on,the lettuce was disgusting! All black and well past it's sell buy date, should have never left the kitchen,chef! Should have seen it! Was professionally not charged for the meal.

A beautiful pub with warm friendly staff. Made us feel very welcome after our 6 mile walk. We did not eat in their but the food looked and smelt delicious. Will definitely go back

We recently had a Family get together where family came from the North and South. Justin and Harriet organised a superb evening for us all. Food and venue was great. Thanks guys !! Highly recommended

Went last Wednesday and enjoyed the 50% off main meals offer in September (only mon-thurs). My partner had the vegan garden burger which she said was nice and actually had flavour. I had the double rump steak. It was fairly good as were the chips. However I asked for my steak medium-well and it came out very well done. I don't mind well done steak so it was just about okay......but don't think the cook understands what medium- well actually means!!! The server did say the pub was a Heineken pub and part of a chain........be warned the kitchen does NOT do anything home-made....it's all brought in ready prepared.

Called in for lunch with 5 friends yesterday. As we entered there was a friendly greeting from Harriet. While taking our order, two from our group had previously had the "All day Breakfast", and without looking at a menu asked for same. Harriet explained that this had been removed from the menu due to the owners deciding not to offer sausages in any dish. Harriet offered to ask the chef to make a breakfast without sausage. This was accepted and enjoyed by both. All others in the group were pleased with their food. It would have been much easier for Harriet to allow another choice to be made, and I feel that this is worth highlighting. Harriet is a credit to your team

We booked for a celebratary family meal on Saturday 2nd October. It was booked by phone on 30th Sept. We were asked by Justin who I presume was manager, for a full list of the food we wanted. This was done and supplied. The guests on the list had travelled from Lancaster, Lichfield, Market Drayton and even 2 from Hamburg totaling 8. We arrived on time and asked for our table. To our disbelief the barman said there's no food and he looked in a tatty book and asked who had taken the reservation and we told him Justin. He said I'm Justin and we informed him that he must have booked us in. We then remonstrated with him as to what he was going to do about it, as he could have called us and told us there was no food. He said the chef had gone sick and he himself had been busy arranging his 4 yr old childs birthday. We reminded him he only had to ring us and we coul have found somewhere else. He seemed at a loss for words as some of our guests were becoming irate at his incompetence and complete lack of empathy at us having to find somewhere else to celebrate on a Saturday night. He didn't even offer us a drink as we had travelled quite a distance to meet. He just sort of stood there out of his depth and waffled. This could all have been avoided by telephoning to say we could not be provided with food.

This is our local and we have never had a bad experience here, The beer is good, the food is good, and the staff are good. Lot of negative reviews on here that i do not understand.

A friendly local pub. Good quality food from an extensive menu was cooked to perfection. Nice range of drinks. Altogether a pleasant find.

Great pub meals in a nice atmosphere

Hadnt called here in a very long while but was passing and Nice environment with clean tables etc . Justin at the bar took my order and chose Scampi and Chips with Garden peas. Very generous helping of Scampi and chips and aq Cappuchino. All was very appetising and prompt service and tasty. Justine checked all was to my liking which is something of a rarity now for some reason Was all reasonbly priced Would definitely call again Service was very good and food nice and hot!

A brief visit turned into a welcoming reception, nice place and locals, I'd certainly visit again!

This establishment provides both indoor or outdoor catering for clients. Having read previous reviews we were somewhat hesitant but alas our experience was much better than expected. Great menu selection, cheerful and helpful staff. Our selected choice of food could not be faulted and in fact it was a pleasure to be presented with crisp and very fresh salad side dishes

Drover 30 mins to visit this place with my missis and 2 kids... booked 3 pm turned up at 2.55 pm ... to be told half the menu was not available no chicken etc ... really ?? Fathers day and half menu not available... sorry...

Visited today, for Father’s Day meal, husband and two teenage boys, no chicken, steak or gammon, one of us trying to eat healthy so literally not much else to eat. Husband had the fish platter and cod was raw, complained to waitress, another gentleman came...

Lovely Wednesday lunch with friends not seen since before the 1st lockdown, Covid has a lot to answer for.

Such a brilliant experience! Food was spot on,can't fault it,tables fat enough away from others to have privacy if desired. Staff extremely helpful and welcoming. Second time I've been here and plan to come back again. Staff, please keep up the civil , polite service you ladies provide. Well done. 10/10. I highly recommend this place!!!
