The best meal I've had for a good while! Lovely staff who knew the menu and wines available. Contemporary but warm atmosphere in a lovely setting. Good choice of fish, vegetarian and meat based meals well cooked and presented. Try the dauphinois potatoes - they are amazing!

Great choices to tempt any appetite, with a varied selection of cuisine. Everything we tried was delicious with a real attention to detail. The cocktail selection was likewise varied and tempting, and I recommend the zombie rum punch and the limoncello basil martini. It's very close to the Dorothy Clive garden, should the walk make you a bit peckish!

Excellent lunch with attractive and interesting menu. Give the fajitas a go!

We really enjoy this place, everything is just so good and right.

The only flaw was the awful music playing loudly. Not nice dinner background ambiance. The constant thumping gave me a headache after two courses. Couldn’t stay for coffee which was a shame as the food and service were perfect.

A superb, stylish, cosy modern ambiance with warm, friendly and inviting staff. My Mum and Dad kindly took me there for a birthday meal and the entire experience was delightful. The menu was so good I found it extremely difficult to make a choice but when I did, the food arrived in a timely fashion and was absolutely delicious. They clearly have an excellent chef/team of chefs because the standard of the food really was excellent. Each course was of an exceptional quality and was certainly able to justify the price range. The white chocolate cookie dough with caramelised bananas, ice cream and toffee dessert was, in both mine and my Mum’s opinion, one of the best desserts we’d tasted in a long time. Truly divine. The staff were the epitome of professionalism, attentive and friendly; willing to engage in a bit of banter as well as providing excellent service. I can’t recommend this restaurant enough. It’s well worth the money.

Great food as always, service was slow until we asked to be served

Visited in February 25 as a party of 10. Overall, it was fine. We were well looked after and the atmosphere is fairly good. Food was OK- not amazing. I had a red Thai curry with pretty dry chicken but it was nice enough. Another member of the party sent a sticky toffee pudding back for being ‘rubbery’. We also ordered sea bass, salads, steaks and these went down well. Overall the food was probably the weakest element, but for a family meal it was acceptable. Surprisingly nice gents toilets.

Lovely place to eat. Very modern and great atmosphere. The food was amazing, however as a vegetarian I didn't have a big choice here. Couple of salads, risotto or quiche. I would expect something more creative than that. I ordered a potato salad with halloumi and it was delicious but I would love something to choose from. I believe even Thai curries are not vegetarian but please double check when you there. From what I've heard they use meat stock to prepare them. However if you're a meat eater it's definitely a place to visit.

Have been here several times and always enjoyed the food until this last visit. My wife’s roast potatoes were black and the insides were mush. My dauphinoise potatoes were also burnt on top and quite dry. Helpings were good size and starter to share was amazing but mains not up to Paragon standards. Will stick to Boars Head and The Broughton in future, sorry Swan with Two necks a lovely venue but kitchen is letting you down. 2 other tables near us both had complaints with there meals.

Great food and the service was attentive

Waited 2 hours for my steak main course and it arrived stone cold and was asked if I’d like it reheating ?! Valentines night was ruined because my partner ate his dinner whilst I waited for my to come back. Plus we couldn’t go for a drink afterwards as the pubs were closed. My meal was knocked off the bill but it didn’t compensate for a 2 hour wait and a wrecked valentines night. I felt a Gastropub should notice that people had been waiting a very long time. We had to ask where our food was 3 times.

Firstly the front of house staff were attentive and polite. Unfortunately the kitchen doesn't appear to have the capacity to serve the venue seats. So there was a long wait for food, although the food temperature was acceptable, it could have been warmer. We were also seated in the teepee outside, unfortunately the heating stopped working for a period and it became unbearably cold very quickly. I wouldn't choose to dine in the teepee in the winter months. We didn't know we would be sitting in teepee until we arrived. So it wasn't a brilliant experience!

Always choose the Swan with two Necks when we celebrate. The whole team go out of there way to treat you as a special customer.

We booked for a valentines meal, and loved it! There was a slight wait to be seated but we felt that was to be expected on a busy night in any restaurant, especially when we had a late booking anyway. The food was amazing, even if a little slow, but again it happens. The best part was our waitress. Unfortunately we didn't get her name, but she always served with a smile, even to other customers who perhaps weren't as understanding of the delay. My husband and I enjoyed the opportunity to spend time together in a lovely setting! So thank you, and we can't wait to come back!

We booked the private dining room to celebrate my mums 65th birthday, the service and food was fabulous from start to finish. Everyone in the party thoroughly enjoyed every course, cooked to perfection, flavoursome & plentiful. A big thankyou to the servers too, who were all fantastic.

A warm welcome, terrific food and great service. The seating in the well planned and decorated restaurant is comfortable and there is always a good “buzz”. The are some interesting (and delicious) innovations on the extensive menus and the presentation is elegant and attractive. Always a pleasure to dine at The Swan with Two Necks, lunch or dinner.

We came across this on a fluke and decided to try it. It looked busy but they still managed to find us a table. The staff were friendly, plenty of food choices and lovely atmosphere. Our food was delicious and well made. We were so glad to have found this place to stop at. Would definitely return.

Really great experience, loads of space in the car park, the service was brilliant. The muscles on the lunch menu were not good. The steak sandwich was lovely and so was the Ham. We had a blast and recommend the swan with two necks lunch time menu especially. The prices at lunch time are lovely 😍 I added pictures of the car park for those that are worried about parking, they have a huge carpark. Professional service, they keep your name for future bookings, very organized company.

Came for an early valentines meal, and it did not disappoint! Harriet who looked after us was amazing, and the food was incredible!

Overall a pretty poor experience. Arrived at 5pm for a pre-booked table. Was told on arrival there was no Sunday dinners left. Told 5 minutes later there was Sunday dinners but they had no mash and no Yorkshire's. We picked from the main menu to then be told they were out of half of that too. Service was poor and very slow. Yes they were busy but 2 hours for mains is a joke. And to then have a service charge added to the bill and food that we didn't order...I don't think so! This was subsequently removed from the bill but shouldn't have been there in the first place. Food was mediocre. I've scored it a 2 star as they market themselves as upper market and the prices reflect this. But to leave £140 lighter and still hungry is ridiculous. A pit stop on the way home to cure the hunger was required. Overall the food is overpriced for what it is. I won't be returning again so I would give it a swerve and go to one of the better dining places nearby.

We reserved a large group table for over 20 of us in January 2025. Really easy to organise and pre order our food and despite the many changes to orders the team at the Swan with 2 Necks were fantastic. On the night the food was delicious and served in good time and they even hosted us in a private area. Could not ask for more and definitely will be returning back

Brilliant food in a lovely environement

A wonderful venue for a special lunch party. Everything was perfect! Having the Polo room gave just a nice bit of separation for our guests.

From entering the Swan, the staff were extremely polite and courteous. It was warm, clean and beautifully presented. The service was prompt but not pushy. We asked if we could order a main meal, a kilo of mussels, to share, as a starter. No problem, it was delicious. Our mains too, we're lovely. Coffee was Luke warm, but exchanged with fresh hot coffee. They pub was busy, Friday lunchtime, but we were not rushed. Excellent experience 👏

First time here lovely setting we were in the wig wam outside was lovely to and warm good food good service.

Menu was appealing and catered to most tastes and appetites. Food was well presented and tasted wonderful. The staff were welcoming and polite. Only drawback was one guest of our group received well cooked food however, served lukewarm/cool which was most disappointing especially given the price. Suspect this was a one off due to the unusually cold weather and not their usual standard given the other reviews.

Disappointed, after multiple recommendations and receiving a £50 gift card for Paragon group, we decided to go here instead of the Red House. Although the food was great the service was pretty bad. We had to ask for our drinks three times and received them halfway through our main course. We had asked to swap an item on the sharing starter which resulted in them removing said item with the new one and charging us full price for the sharer and the addition. We also had to ask for sauces that were missed and our steaks were cooked opposite to our requests. On top of all this, they added more food to the bill that we didn’t ask for, once they removed this and added our “£50” gift card, it only removed £40. At this point I was too tired to even try and reason with them so got up and left. The worst of it all was that neither staff member we dealt with bothered to smile and were too eager to cut us off when speaking. What a shame, it could have been a great experience, at least the food was delicious.

Delicious food. Glad we checked the bill...... charged over £13 for two portions of truffle oil parmesan fries.....we upgraded with our main meals, as they came with fries....a few pounds extra each I would expect, but to be charged for two portions of them at full price.... not great service to be fair....

Our experience was fantastic, not a fault. However, a table of four people near the back of the restaurant ruined the atmosphere near the end for everyone around them. This was at roughly 11pm yesterday (31st). The way this 'adult' was speaking to the waitress was despicable. I surely hope you don't allow people like that back into your lovely restaurant. People do not deserve to be spoken to like that, regardless of the issue at hand, when they are spending their time working instead of spending it with their own families on NYE. If this feedback is received directly by the restaurant, I hope that the waitress didn't let it affect them too much. It was very clear from the get-go that this entitled customer hadn't been taught the basics on how to speak to another person before.

Returned here many times but NYE was disappointing. Table booed for 8:30, arrived at 8:25 to be told 15 minute delay. 25 minutes later we were seated. Staters arrived at 9:40pm one was the wrong choice so I ate mine alone. This was removed from the bill, fair enough. Mains arrived at 10.35pm and by this point I’d gone past eating. Think my face said it all when my £25 steak arrived (see picture) think everyone was tired and it was literally thrown on the plate. Steak was ok but a little under cooked for Medium as requested. The chips were ok but when tipped into the plate it was clear they were from the bottom of the frozen bag as they were all scrag end bits. Needless to say we did not order desserts. Bill with 2 drinks each was £116. (£11 deducted for starter) Couple next to us also complained as the service was just shockingly slow. Clearly over booked as the place was rammed. We also heard lots of charges being knocked off bills on the tables around us. The waiter was very polite and helpful just run off his feet.

We came for our anniversary and received exceptional service. We were greeted with 2 glasses of prosecco and a card from the team. There was hardly a wait between courses and the food was lovely. Would definitely recommend.

Christmas Day We dined as a family of five on Christmas Day. The atmosphere was lovely, the staff were exceptionally polite and patient and we enjoyed our meal. At no point were we rushed which was a pleasant surprise. Having paid for and ordered food and drinks weeks ago, we just ordered a few extra drinks. We were surprised to find a £30 service charge added to what was already a very expensive meal. As it was discretionary we asked for it to be removed and gave a cash tip. The annoying thing about it was that if we hadn’t had the extra 4 drinks we would not have had a bill to pay therefore no service charge.

It was just a quick drop in for a coffee, but after seeing the menu we had a snack. A beautiful place and dogs are very welcome

Waitress Ellie was very polite friendly and helpful, and her service was excellent. however after finishing our starters the Wait time for our main courses wa 45 minutes which I feel is unacceptable. Other people who arrived after us, their food was arriving before ours. We asked about this and were told there was a problem but not sure what. We asked for a complimentary drink which we received and when the food did finally arrive it was excellent.

A lovely experience for the entire family group. There were a range of touches that made the experience extra special, the activity packs entered all of our children (3,8 & 9) The ambience was excellent and meeting Santa was a great experience, the elves made it extra special for our youngest who got stage fright. The food was excellent but the portion sizes weren’t great, all 3 of our children were still hungry (as were the adults) but pacified by the biscoff biscuits which came with the coffees.

We walked in and must admit did worry as was packed (3pm sitting) & I initially thought ‘blimey this is going to be a night’ However ! To be fair to the place, they handled it really well, there was loads of well trained staff and we were served and seated straight away! The food was fantastic as always and a great wine selection… fab visit thank you

Food just isn’t as good as it used to be and yet more expensive! Such a shame. Wish it would go back to home cooking and less centralised kitchen the quality has suffered.

Lovely place but food very over priced and not value for money. Chef, please do not try to reinvent the wheel, the prawn cocktail is not that, should be advertised as tempura prawns not prawn cocktail. Marie rose sauce makes a prawn cocktail not the halfpenny sized dollop served. No flavour to it despite the fancy description on the menu. Awful. I ordered the steak pie, flavours and portion perfect. However the base of the pie was like concrete and couldn't be cut with a knife or fork...obviously not fresh and must have been resting for a long time for the crust to become inedible. No one came to ask how we found the food, just to get another round of drinks. To be honest if it wasn't a works do and I have paid for it myself it would have gone back to the kitchen. Disappointed to say the least..

A really disappointing visit. Waited 30-40 minutes between starters and mains, then the food arrived cold and inedible. The rare steak had obviously been left under a heat lamp and came out medium and all the sides had dried out. We also sat for most of the meal with empty glasses as no staff bothered to see if required more. Will not be returning in a hurry.

Very disappointing meal. Rude male server, indifferent staff. Food, Turkey roast and beef roast both quite tasteless. Roast potatoes that a steak knife couldn't get through, hard broccoli and parsnips. So disappointing, overall not a great meal. We won't return and I'd recommend the sister pub The Board Head, always super friendly staff and excellent food.

Visited numerous times for all sorts of occasions, whether your looking for a family meal, large party or a romantic meal out the Swan with two necks never disappoints. You can always expect a warm and friendly welcome with a great atmosphere. The food and service is second to none with a continuous high standard time after time. There's a great selection of high quality food and drink to choose from with very reasonable prices. Our server Harriet was so attentive and ensured all our wants and needs were met at every opportunity. If you've not tried this place, go, I guarentee you will not be disappointed. Thanks again for another great experience.

The food and service is very good and we went for the Sunday lunch menu, our food arrived without the extra of cauliflower cheese, after 5 minutes I asked for it and a very disappointing half dish of "bits" of cauliflower arrived, I can only assume they had run out and we got the leftovers in between making more as I saw another table with one and they had a full dish of proper florets, pretty disappointing for £6 but the rest of the food was very nice. If you want the set menu, be sure to ask for the original menu back as not all of the dessert menu is included in the 2 or 3 course price so you end up paying extra.

Sunday lunch , service was so slow.. we had to keep reminding the staff re drinks orders. The main course took nearly an hour to arrive after our starters were cleared. The food was tepid, had to be taken back to the kitchen. 2 of us requested no mash but we got mash. The beef was tough, roast potatoes hard and dry. All in all very disappointing.

Decorations and overall atmosphere of the establishment was very welcoming and comforting. The staff were very friendly and continued to ensure we were happy and had everything we required. The food was high quality and absolutely delicious. An excellent variety and very unique dishes. The treacle glazed fresh bread with whipped Guinness and marmite butter was most excellent and not like anything we have ever had before.

Chicken was dry but they did cook me some more which meant I had to eat after everyone was finished. Both of my sons were not able to eat the burgers as they were so dry. I had to take them else where to eat after The staff were very nice. However due to the quality of food I won’t be eating again at this restaurant

Very good service and the food was well presented and delicious. The only negative was the broccoli was undercooked on the belly pork dish. Very busy for Saturday lunch so I would definitely recommend booking.

Been here 2 or 3 times for evening meals. Love the ambience of the place and the staff are friendly and attentive. Unfortunately my biggest problem, and which stops me going more often, is that there is an extremely small choice of gluten free options. We decided to try out the Traditional Sunday Lunch for a change. Unfortunately I was not able to have this as the only option was only to have the accompanying vegetables. There was no option either for dessert (this is from the Sunday Lunch Menu) Extremely disappointing considering such a great brand. A lot of other pubs are catering much better for Gluten allergens.

Lovely surroundings, nice food however chips on meal tepid, meal generally only just warm enough. No check back during meal to report these issues. The person who cleared the plates didn’t ask how our meal was either. Disappointing visit won’t be in a hurry to return. Asked for service charge to be removed and still not asked if there had been a problem. Waiter seemed disinterested in general.
