Lovely family meal. Super food, friendly staff and a warm welcome. Enjoyed it immensely.

A lovely experience for the entire family group. There were a range of touches that made the experience extra special, the activity packs entered all of our children (3,8 & 9) The ambience was excellent and meeting Santa was a great experience, the elves made it extra special for our youngest who got stage fright. The food was excellent but the portion sizes weren’t great, all 3 of our children were still hungry (as were the adults) but pacified by the biscoff biscuits which came with the coffees.

We walked in and must admit did worry as was packed (3pm sitting) & I initially thought ‘blimey this is going to be a night’ However ! To be fair to the place, they handled it really well, there was loads of well trained staff and we were served and seated straight away! The food was fantastic as always and a great wine selection… fab visit thank you

Food just isn’t as good as it used to be and yet more expensive! Such a shame. Wish it would go back to home cooking and less centralised kitchen the quality has suffered.

Lovely place but food very over priced and not value for money. Chef, please do not try to reinvent the wheel, the prawn cocktail is not that, should be advertised as tempura prawns not prawn cocktail. Marie rose sauce makes a prawn cocktail not the halfpenny sized dollop served. No flavour to it despite the fancy description on the menu. Awful. I ordered the steak pie, flavours and portion perfect. However the base of the pie was like concrete and couldn't be cut with a knife or fork...obviously not fresh and must have been resting for a long time for the crust to become inedible. No one came to ask how we found the food, just to get another round of drinks. To be honest if it wasn't a works do and I have paid for it myself it would have gone back to the kitchen. Disappointed to say the least..

We called in for a Coffee & a Pot of Tea. Great service & quality Tea & Coffee. The biggest surprise was the price - far cheaper than most establishments. Very impressed!

A really disappointing visit. Waited 30-40 minutes between starters and mains, then the food arrived cold and inedible. The rare steak had obviously been left under a heat lamp and came out medium and all the sides had dried out. We also sat for most of the meal with empty glasses as no staff bothered to see if required more. Will not be returning in a hurry.

We had a 60th birthday in the private room which was ideal for 14 of us. Ellie our waitress was fantastic and could not do enough for us - thank you

Very disappointing meal. Rude male server, indifferent staff. Food, Turkey roast and beef roast both quite tasteless. Roast potatoes that a steak knife couldn't get through, hard broccoli and parsnips. So disappointing, overall not a great meal. We won't return and I'd recommend the sister pub The Board Head, always super friendly staff and excellent food.

Visited numerous times for all sorts of occasions, whether your looking for a family meal, large party or a romantic meal out the Swan with two necks never disappoints. You can always expect a warm and friendly welcome with a great atmosphere. The food and service is second to none with a continuous high standard time after time. There's a great selection of high quality food and drink to choose from with very reasonable prices. Our server Harriet was so attentive and ensured all our wants and needs were met at every opportunity. If you've not tried this place, go, I guarentee you will not be disappointed. Thanks again for another great experience.

The food and service is very good and we went for the Sunday lunch menu, our food arrived without the extra of cauliflower cheese, after 5 minutes I asked for it and a very disappointing half dish of "bits" of cauliflower arrived, I can only assume they had run out and we got the leftovers in between making more as I saw another table with one and they had a full dish of proper florets, pretty disappointing for £6 but the rest of the food was very nice. If you want the set menu, be sure to ask for the original menu back as not all of the dessert menu is included in the 2 or 3 course price so you end up paying extra.

Sunday lunch , service was so slow.. we had to keep reminding the staff re drinks orders. The main course took nearly an hour to arrive after our starters were cleared. The food was tepid, had to be taken back to the kitchen. 2 of us requested no mash but we got mash. The beef was tough, roast potatoes hard and dry. All in all very disappointing.

Great food, great place for a date night. Service was top quality too. We were served by Josef who was very attentive and ensured our glasses were always full!

Decorations and overall atmosphere of the establishment was very welcoming and comforting. The staff were very friendly and continued to ensure we were happy and had everything we required. The food was high quality and absolutely delicious. An excellent variety and very unique dishes. The treacle glazed fresh bread with whipped Guinness and marmite butter was most excellent and not like anything we have ever had before.

Chicken was dry but they did cook me some more which meant I had to eat after everyone was finished. Both of my sons were not able to eat the burgers as they were so dry. I had to take them else where to eat after The staff were very nice. However due to the quality of food I won’t be eating again at this restaurant

Very good service and the food was well presented and delicious. The only negative was the broccoli was undercooked on the belly pork dish. Very busy for Saturday lunch so I would definitely recommend booking.

Been here 2 or 3 times for evening meals. Love the ambience of the place and the staff are friendly and attentive. Unfortunately my biggest problem, and which stops me going more often, is that there is an extremely small choice of gluten free options. We decided to try out the Traditional Sunday Lunch for a change. Unfortunately I was not able to have this as the only option was only to have the accompanying vegetables. There was no option either for dessert (this is from the Sunday Lunch Menu) Extremely disappointing considering such a great brand. A lot of other pubs are catering much better for Gluten allergens.

Took my posh parents to this restaurant and they were amazed. Food was incredible and service was on point. My favourite place in Staffordshire.

Went out for a family celebration and enjoyed food and drinks. Quite expensive for drinks and meals and some of the meals were disappointing.

Lovely surroundings, nice food however chips on meal tepid, meal generally only just warm enough. No check back during meal to report these issues. The person who cleared the plates didn’t ask how our meal was either. Disappointing visit won’t be in a hurry to return. Asked for service charge to be removed and still not asked if there had been a problem. Waiter seemed disinterested in general.

A fantastic early evening meal. The food and service was excellent and we felt well cared for and catered to throughout. Our server Pascal was phenomenal all throughout our meal.

Fantastic service, pascal was exceptionally attentive, food was absolutely amazing. We popped in on a lunch time and were pleasantly surprised, we will definitely return!

We went the swan in March of this year for an Anniversary party Josef Jones organised us having a private part as there were over 20 of the family. All the meals were very good no one had any complaints the tables were set out really nice. We had fantastic night would definitely recommend it to everyone. Staff were lovely.

Service was a little slow taking food orders, and after ordering a second drink i had to ask where it was! And it must have been waiting on the bar because the young lady brought it more or less straight away after asking, because I’d been wait quite a while up to that point. Didn’t seem enough staff working/ waiting on tables for the amount of people dining .

Josef served us on Sunday 27th October and he was absolutely wonderful. He was attentive polite and went above and beyond. He’s a credit to paragon. Thank you

This is our favourite local restaurant. We have regularly frequented it since its opening. The meals and service are always excellent. The staff recruited are always friendly, well presented and efficient. Our particular thanks goes to our regular maitre d’ , Pascal Briquet, who always ensures customers are served efficiently. We went for something to eat on what was a very sad day for us and Beth our server put a smile on our faces she was so lovely. The food was fabulous although they had run out of tiramasu so we will have to go again.

Overall 5 stars, quite delayed with service but that isn’t the fault of the waitress. We have been served a couple of times by Beth so it was lovely to see that she remembered us. Beth is always very happy, always smiling and very polite. Beth is always happy to help with any queries or issues and resolves them with ease.

Walk in for 2 people . Had beautiful Sunday lunch. Only negative was ran out of cauliflower Cheese, however I may have struggled to eat it anyway. On looking at receipt when returned home I did get charged for this.....Will teach me to check the bill before paying

We went for Sunday lunch and to taste a couple of cocktails for my daughter's upcoming Wedding there in November. The meal was exceptional and we all enjoyed it even the tiramisu afterwards. The Plum negreo cocktail wasn't very nice though so we took that off the wedding menu and replaced it with another. Other than that no complaints .

Everything was top notch from arrival to us leaving. Food fabulous Staff, very polite, very accommodating and took time to talk to customers We will 100% return Everything spotlessly clean An absolute credit to all of your staff

I’ve had some disappointing meals here before but I tried the new Thai curry menu and it was really good. My partner had the pan roasted chicken supreme which was also good .

Beth was a very good waitress we would be happy if she served us every time.

Absolutely dreadful from start to finish, in the little time we actually spent here. Between our starters and our mains, we were literally in here for about 30 minutes. It's like they didn't want us to spend our money, super rushed, water walked off in the middle of me trying to order more drinks and ask for a break between meals. Mains came out within 10 minutes, spoke to the manage regarding the problem who apologised and then never followed up on the issue. We were then virtually ignored until we tracked them down to pay the bill. Awful, go to the boarshead.

The Green Thai Chicken was delicious but the helping of rice was very small and we were charged for the extra portion we requested . Likewise , the ice cream was lovely but the scoops ( 2 ) were tiny. Luckily I don't have a huge appetite but those who do might be left somewhat peckish!
