Patrick, Callum and Georgia made today's visit very enjoyable. Quick service at the bar, then we sat.down. Some of us (9 in group) ordered via the App and others went to the bar to order. All the food came out to us together and all were piping hot so that was.well organised too. They came to check all was good then left us to eat and chat together. All in all a lovely day. Thanks

We use to have our meet ups at another venue but after going here the community group have found this to be go to place staff Callum, Patrick & Georgia have catered for every need Brilliant food 👏

Female bar staff not knowledgeable about products.... she thought red wine is kept in the fridge and told us a product was out of stock when it was on the bar behind her. Also requested a shandy and she did a pint.

Been a few times and really enjoyed it. Sadly was very disappointed this time. They got our meals mixed up..i had the chicken and beef Sunday deal.it was awful the Yorkshire pudding was soggy veg and mash cold Poor porttons and the pigs and blankets looked undercooked. Had the bsked alaska trifle after.will not be rushing to go back.

Further to this your staff are in dire need of training. Scruffy pub on the outskirts of town and the bar service in the bar area was shocking. Security staff patrolling the pub on a Sunday afternoon.....tells you a lot about the type of pub you are entering (29/08/21 @ 17:30).

This was my second visit this week, on Monday I was with friends and had lovely meal. On Saturday I was with my husband and sister-in-law and I think that I was in a different restaurant. The service was awful and the food was disappointing, my husband and sister-in-law's meals were delivered but mine didn't arrive so I went to to the bar to ask about it. I was told that because I had ordered a vegan meal they need to search for "a flag" to attach to it to warn about possible allergies and that they would bring it to the table when they found a flag. I had not ordered a vegan meal but my choice didn't include meat. I can't understand why they consider a meat free meal to be more likely to be ordered by someone with allergies surely anyone with allergies would know to inform the restaurant of their allergies.

Came here for birthday celebrations, Katie was an excellent waitress, constantly checking on us and very polite.

Everything at this pub was fantastic. Will be returning in the future.

Came in and had the main menu deal 2 meals for £11.99. had 2 mains 3, 1 pudding and 2 drinks for under £25. I had fish and chips which was really nice, my daughter had chicken with bacon and cheese, cheese and bacon were a little overdone so ended up removing some of it but chicken looked nice and juicy, came with fries and a couple of onion rings, had I known I would likely have bought a side of onion rings and they are her favourite but with having a pudding I thought better of it. Ended with chocolate fudge cake and ice cream, another favourite. Left very full and it being 8pm when we arrived it was fairly quiet, left at 9.15 so was reasonably quick however I did wait at an empty bar for some time, a few people in front of me too. Only negative I can think of were the waiting to order and the overdone cheese. It wouldn't put me off coming back. They have different deals every day and the 2 mains deal is Mon to Fri though there is a Saturday deal and a Sunday dinner offer too. Is a nice local place that I like to have an evening meal with my daughter at without breaking the bank.

It was rather cold when we visited. It was as if the air con was on during a super cold day! So it ruined the atmosphere and the food also came out cold. But it was lovely food despite that! Always good options and the prices are great too! It’s great that there’s a separate area for the actual ‘pub’ side so any sports being shown doesn’t ruin the atmosphere or make people feel uncomfortable. Only other thing is when asked for a small glass of Coca-Cola they said they only do a large. So it ended up being wasted. Which was a shame.

Recently had the Beef and Ale pie and it was delicious. Reasonably priced, can’t complain.

We had a family meal here for my son's 13th last night. I'm giving 5 stars mainly for the service as I didn't book the correct amount of people (I actually under booked by 8/9 people as I obviously can't count 🙃), we were already a large party without the extras and they accommodated us with no problem, even though they were already super busy with it being a Friday night. The bar staff and food servers were so polite and helpful and the food was great. They also brought my son's cake out with the candles sorted for us and when they saw me cleaning up after cutting the cake, they told me to leave it to them, which I thought was really nice of them (although I still got a lot of it up as I felt rude). So a massive thank you to all the staff at the Cherry Tree, we had a great time!

Came in for my niece's 20th birthday, the team was absolutely amazing! Especially Callum who went above and beyond always. Atmosphere was amazing all night as they had karaoke on, will definitely return!

We visited this evening as a family of 5 - 2 adults and 3 children. We really couldn't fault anything, the food was enjoyable and reasonably priced, food came out quite quickly even though it was very busy, staff were all helpful and friendly especially Calum who went above and beyond.

Came here today with my partner and my daughters (14-2-25) we were seated very quickly and the food was lovely apart from my daughters burger bun was so dry it was crumbling but we only mentioned it as my daughter couldn't eat it, we didn't complain just made an observation. About 15 minutes later the waitress came back to apologise we said there was no need it wasn't her fault and she said to say sorry she would bring out an extra brownie with ice-cream for free. I said it's ok but we accepted. All in all a great place , great staff and great food

Our server was named ebony! Lovely girl very polite and helpful. The food was delicious I’m not sure if it’s new staff and chef but I have been eating here for years the food normally leaves us feeling bloated and not very enjoyable but my visit today was very different! Great presentation and tasty food. Even managed to fit in a dessert! Will be eating here a lot more from now on!
