Yates's in Newcastle-under-Lyme

Had an absolutely beautiful full breakfast. From fast service on ordering at the till to being served, was great. Katie and Zara were very friendly, took time to chat and made sure we had everything we needed, nothing was too much trouble. My sister found the latte here the best in town. A big shout out to Jordan in the kitchen for our breakfast absolutely delicious and filled us right up. Thankyou to the three of you we need an afternoon nap now 😁

Went out as a uni social absolute class fur the area. Few bevs, nice atmosphere will plan on our crawl route again. Staff are also very welcoming

Came here after slug and lettuce cancelled our table at the last minute and we have had an absolute fantastic evening! Matt, our host was incredible and nothing was too much trouble! Avoid the slug and lettuce and come the Yates! The food was exceptional too!

We popped in with friends, a good cheery atmosphere. Unfortunately, the floor was so, so sticky all over the place. Doormen & barstaff, very pleasant.

Matty, Junior and Nikola all amazing ! Came for a works Christmas party and nothing was too much trouble. Helped us with everything from drinks to song requests :) amazing service.

Yates is a great place for food and I particularly enjoy the full English breakfast and the burgers and lattice fries. It is good value for money.

Delicious food made by Jordan. The ladies behind the bar were great. Kirsty, Harley and Krystal were all busy bees looking after the customers. I’m following a healthy eating plan and it’s great to see that they cater for alternative dietary requirements.

My meal was fantastic, the atmosphere was nice, found the staff to be pleasant, but I want to give special mention to Lucy who was very helpful and quite charming. Definitely recommend.

Ordered Saudage and mash... mash tasted awful. Definitely made from SMASH. Took me Back to when I was forced to go camping. Music too loud. Even with "mash" coming out of a packet and kettle we had to wait. If it was somewhere nice I would understand as the food would be made to order.

Good cheap food , great value for money , would recommend if you want a nice quiet breakfast. The staff are nice and friendly especially the tall bald one .

On this occasion we did not have food but the food that was being delivered at different tables looked lovely, a good selection of drinks available and the atmosphere was good. But the pub in general needs a deep clean including toilets.

Jo and tash made the best steak I've ever had, great atmosphere would recommend.

Brad and katie were brilliant throughout our whole evening. Always asking if we needed anything and very prompt on service. Brad also went out of his way to be able to sort us a table for the england vs netherlands euro game. The food was brilliant and great price. Looking forward to returning again

We had some lovely food cooked by Krystal and Jo. It was hot and tasty. The new menu is a lot better than the old one, there’s lots that I would like to try. The bar staff are always lovely and friendly and nothing is ever too much for them.

Today I was served by Lucy and Zara at the bar, the service and attention to detail was impeccable when I was putting my order in. They were very polite, well spoken and friendly young ladies. They brought the condiments, drinks and food order over with a bit of banter. The food was absolutely delicious, I would definitely eat here again.

Had such a lovely evening here, Tobias on the bar helped me pick out my meal for the night and recommended a lot of good deals to me. The food was cooked perfectly and the pub was clean and well kept.
