The best restaurants serving British food in West Midlands

Came for a family Sunday roast. The beef was to die for, as was the rest! Staff really friendly, all in all a lovely chilled atmosphere and I would absolutely visit again!

The Lancia Montecarlo Consortium met here for a lunch and 45 of us were treated to great service and great food. Our visit was prearranged with Charlie (a member of staff) who made sure that everything was up to the standard that she had promised. All our members have been very complimentary. This is one of our favourite places to eat in the local area. Dinner last night was superb, as always. The menu was varied and catered well for all tastes. The food was exceptional - they have a great chef! The staff are always friendly and do an excellent job. We look forward to our next visit, very soon.

Love this restaurant. Use it for personal as well as business and it’s always superb. The daytime/Prixe Fixe is such good value during daytimes and what I love is they are not small portions! The cod loin is delicious as are a whole host of other dishes. Goats cheese is unbelievable too. Drinks are also good value and an excellent choice of wines and spirits. All in all, it’s a cracking restaurant with really warm and welcoming staff. Nothing is too much trouble, even at the busiest times. Special mention to Tonya as she is excellent and very friendly & warm. A real credit to you. Keep on doing what you’re doing, well done guys & thank you.

This once was our favourite place for a carvery. Booked a table for 24 when we arrived it was for 22 the plastic cover on the carvery defeats a carvery it's ridiculous and slow service we all ate at very different times. Claim it's for hygiene the person serving had some dirty tshirt on and the girl was flicking her hair behind the screen I get it's hot but take the plastic screen down for God sake and let customers help themselves definitely will not be returning as its the 2nd bad time we've had now and it's quite an expensive carvery for the service. Very disappointed our whole table were disappointed. Also why put the sauce at the beginning of a carvery? Have to push back all through the queue to get to sauce

We had a very enjoyable meal today. The food was great and lovely customer service by Luke. He even brought our dog some treats over. We look forward to returning again.

Food was very good we had the chicken enchiladas and chilli. The only complaint was the chilli portion was on the small side compared to the enchiladas. The staff were very friendly and quick to take our order. The pub was a little cold so we sat next to the fire (very cosy).
