This is a great local Chippy. The staff are friendly and welcoming. The restaurant is clean, bright, and modern. The quality of the food has always been very good and consistent. Highly recommended over other Fish and Chip shops in the area.

The food was fantastic even my brother loved it and he pinched all my onion rings i only got one oh well but in all the fish was white as white and the chips were not oily at all just like i like it and my parents and sister in law loved it too

the chips looked like they were old. the donner kebab was hardly any salad on it. Noone enjoyed it what a waste of £34.00.....

I'd rather have it early than late, that way the food is hot

Food tasted nice but wasn’t enjoyable as far too cold, and we only live 3 mins away, wrap wasn’t folded closed on one end so all the kebab meat and salad was spilling out either end and had to eat it with a fork as it was too messy to fold back up as the wrap was very thin and kept breaking

Extremely poor service, overcharged for small order. Manager refused to refund the difference which left a stalemate. I then asked for a full refund which was refused with anger from the manager. Staff did not know the pricing. I will not be visiting again and have had to request a refund via my bank. I would urge you to use alternative options.

very fast quoted 50-70 minutes so we'll happy with that but the food felt old like it was re heated chicken was dry, fish was definitely re cooked as were the chips sorry we were very dissatisfied

Unfortunately last two orders food have arrived cold. Never used to be a problem, not sure if driver is now being loaded with multiple orders but cold chips really are no fun.

If I could give it a 0 I would the food was not fresh AT ALL. The pasty was rock hard. The fish was stale save your time and money and go to kfc next door.

It cost me £21 for: large bag of chips, small portion of fish and chips and donner meat with salad - very expensive! Also the fish was drenched in oil dripping off hands - could not eat it and the chips were dry tasted like 3 day old chips - the doner with salad did not taste right and was more salad than doner - charged up £1 just for pot of small curry sauce when the other chip shop round the corner you can get cone of battered chips with curry sauce for 99p!! won't be ordering again.

Normally good food but today the fish was overdone and dry. Batter was not good and feel paid £18 for chips and curry sauce.

On the app it said they was still preparing my order and that it was an hour wait yet 30 mins later it said the same thing yet the driver was her I am impressed with time the food was very good will definitely order again

I love Oliver’s. They are the best and there pizzas are the best I have ever had.

A very nice fish and chip shop next to Hagley Road. I don’t think the items are halal however fish and chips are and fried in their own oils. Fish is huge and chips are tasty (if a tad less than needed for the size of the fish). Staff are very friendly. Never had a disappointing order. Large fish and chips are about £11.

Had a takeaway here so I’ll give these guys the benefit of the doubt in their service and atmosphere. The burger that I ordered however, smelt like it had been left out for days and then refried. I ordered 2 single double cheeseburgers and a portion of strippers that outside of delivery and Uber charges was £16 which is ridiculous for a takeaway as horrible as that. Worst £20 I’ve ever spent!

Extremely rude woman who seemed to be one of the heads of the business. Demanding I hurry and choose. Rushing me and making me pay before I tell her my full order. Implolite and won’t be returning.

food was not ready at collection time

Tried to place the order on Olivers website, had a message stating 'we are not accepting orders for delivery right now, we are still available for collection'. So we decided to use just eat to order. long story short we ended up with duplicate orders, so sent one back and was told 'not to worry'. upon calling Olivers the following day they told us to chase just eat for the refund. The issue is with olivers and they tried to dodge blame when their website mislead us into ordering twice. disgrace

Chicken tikka in the pitta was burnt and dry didn’t expect this from them as I had collected the week before and the quality was much better. Have taken pics I didn’t even eat it all abs it got binned

I ordered 6 different kebabs and I have to say the meat was as dry as a bone and tiny bits. I wouldn't ever order kebabs from here again.

The quality of fish and chips poor the fish was dry and the batter was thin and flaky not traditional at all and it cost £10.50 very disappointed Takeaway is a luxury these days. Also they seem to have a problem with following the special instructions I asked for plenty salt and vinegar and I got salt little vinegar. When your in the food business little things like this make all the difference.. but it's all about the money these day. Last time I purchase fish and chips from here.

We have used Oliver's quite a few times now. We hadn't been back for a few months due to the service we had last time we visited. The ladies in the shop do not make you feel like you want to be in there . The food I was always happy with until last night we had pizza and chips and the meat and chips. The food was cold and the chips were just hard and just inedible. I won't be returning and wasting anymore money for poor service and poor food

Food wasn't nice at all chicken was overcooked and rock hard, chips were vile mainly just got crispy ends makes me not wanna buy from here again so disappointed

My food was out of the packaging and cold, chicken burger was cold and bread had a piece of green stuff on it. Really disappointed.

Ordered for takeout and specifically put in the notes no onions and no red cabbage on the kebab and it turned up cold and instead of not putting them on they only put onions and cabbage on it so I couldn’t even eat it and the chips were hard and tasted stale , would not order again!!

Both fish and chips arrived perfectly on time however all items turned up only slightly warm , and the chips looked as if cooked hours earlier , that will teach me to order in advance for a specific time (1 1/2 hours } I can only assume that they have been traveling around Birmingham most of that time ?

Always used Olivers, didn't have a bad experience til Friday 17th November, paid £40 for Five meals, pizza overcooked and cold, mixed meat cold and a hair found in food! Phoned shop to try and resolve issues, I assumed I was speaking to manager, he apologised and offered to rectify when we ordered again, fast forward to today Friday 24th November, had to order direct over the phone, food came to £47, they offered to reduce to £40!! Not happy with this as food was terrible the week before I suggested £20 off, they suggested £12 off, we agreed, then we couldn't pay over the phone we needed cash!! Didn't have cash so needed to drive to cashpoint! Food arrived with items missing, got on the phone they apologised again and would send food out ASAP. The food was terrible again, cold mixed meat, rubbery fish. Delivery driver arrived and said we had to pay for missing items! I explained it was not our mistake it was theirs! He called his manager and passed phone to me, I politely asked his name, he had a really bad attitude saying "why do you need to know my name", I stated the food was terrible again this week, he started shouting and told me to go F@#k myself! I passed the phone back to the delivery driver, then I retrieved the food he just brought and said we wouldn't be ordering from Olivers again. Don't know if the establishment has changed hands but will never order from Olivers again.

Food was okay. Battered sausage had very little batter and was burnt and Pukka pastie was microwaved in its packaging so was sloppy when opened. Chips were good though and other food ordered was nice. Just mine then.

Usually order on Deliveroo, but went in today and collected, ended up with a stale cod which was probably sitting there for hours😡not good considering the price.

Please be careful when ordering from here, my son found a metal staple in his pizza,. Farah if this was her real name found this funny her response was will Tell the pizza guy to be careful and continued to call me darling when I asked her not to!! Use to be our favorite place for pizza, will never order from here again.
