The chicken and chips were all cold and very very dry like cardboard it was over cooked.

Some days in and off. The kebab is most of the time great here tho

Gave us disgusting old pieces of chicken. Avoid going here

Fantastic chippy and kebab shop. Great choice. Traditional fish and chips, scallops and fresh roe. Clean and friendly atmosphere. Good customer service. Do home deliveries. Recommended.

Ordered 3 fish and chips 2 of them in good quality one taste awful smelly old fish uneatable, called them and said will ask the chef no one calls me , poor customer service.no apology at all im a regular customer for a long time here will mo longer order again poor customer service

food was not ready at collection time

Tried to place the order on Olivers website, had a message stating 'we are not accepting orders for delivery right now, we are still available for collection'. So we decided to use just eat to order. long story short we ended up with duplicate orders, so sent one back and was told 'not to worry'. upon calling Olivers the following day they told us to chase just eat for the refund. The issue is with olivers and they tried to dodge blame when their website mislead us into ordering twice. disgrace

The food is great. Staff are friendly. What more can one ask for?

The chips where hard and i couldn’t get them off the paper and the scallops where soggy and all the batter fell off them. In all horrible .

Chicken tikka in the pitta was burnt and dry didn’t expect this from them as I had collected the week before and the quality was much better. Have taken pics I didn’t even eat it all abs it got binned

I ordered 6 different kebabs and I have to say the meat was as dry as a bone and tiny bits. I wouldn't ever order kebabs from here again.

The quality of fish and chips poor the fish was dry and the batter was thin and flaky not traditional at all and it cost £10.50 very disappointed Takeaway is a luxury these days. Also they seem to have a problem with following the special instructions I asked for plenty salt and vinegar and I got salt little vinegar. When your in the food business little things like this make all the difference.. but it's all about the money these day. Last time I purchase fish and chips from here.

We have used Oliver's quite a few times now. We hadn't been back for a few months due to the service we had last time we visited. The ladies in the shop do not make you feel like you want to be in there . The food I was always happy with until last night we had pizza and chips and the meat and chips. The food was cold and the chips were just hard and just inedible. I won't be returning and wasting anymore money for poor service and poor food

Food wasn't nice at all chicken was overcooked and rock hard, chips were vile mainly just got crispy ends makes me not wanna buy from here again so disappointed

My food was out of the packaging and cold, chicken burger was cold and bread had a piece of green stuff on it. Really disappointed.

Ordered for takeout and specifically put in the notes no onions and no red cabbage on the kebab and it turned up cold and instead of not putting them on they only put onions and cabbage on it so I couldn’t even eat it and the chips were hard and tasted stale , would not order again!!

Food was on the cold side and chips were slightly undercooked. Portions were all smaller than normal. A bit disappointing this time round

Both fish and chips arrived perfectly on time however all items turned up only slightly warm , and the chips looked as if cooked hours earlier , that will teach me to order in advance for a specific time (1 1/2 hours } I can only assume that they have been traveling around Birmingham most of that time ?

Always used Olivers, didn't have a bad experience til Friday 17th November, paid £40 for Five meals, pizza overcooked and cold, mixed meat cold and a hair found in food! Phoned shop to try and resolve issues, I assumed I was speaking to manager, he apologised and offered to rectify when we ordered again, fast forward to today Friday 24th November, had to order direct over the phone, food came to £47, they offered to reduce to £40!! Not happy with this as food was terrible the week before I suggested £20 off, they suggested £12 off, we agreed, then we couldn't pay over the phone we needed cash!! Didn't have cash so needed to drive to cashpoint! Food arrived with items missing, got on the phone they apologised again and would send food out ASAP. The food was terrible again, cold mixed meat, rubbery fish. Delivery driver arrived and said we had to pay for missing items! I explained it was not our mistake it was theirs! He called his manager and passed phone to me, I politely asked his name, he had a really bad attitude saying "why do you need to know my name", I stated the food was terrible again this week, he started shouting and told me to go F@#k myself! I passed the phone back to the delivery driver, then I retrieved the food he just brought and said we wouldn't be ordering from Olivers again. Don't know if the establishment has changed hands but will never order from Olivers again.

Food was okay. Battered sausage had very little batter and was burnt and Pukka pastie was microwaved in its packaging so was sloppy when opened. Chips were good though and other food ordered was nice. Just mine then.

Usually order on Deliveroo, but went in today and collected, ended up with a stale cod which was probably sitting there for hours😡not good considering the price.

Giving one star for my order tonight I went to Oliver’s after 12 hour shift , did my order and they give to wrong food totally and only found when I got home so try calling few times no answer from them and the food went in the bin

Please be careful when ordering from here, my son found a metal staple in his pizza,. Farah if this was her real name found this funny her response was will Tell the pizza guy to be careful and continued to call me darling when I asked her not to!! Use to be our favorite place for pizza, will never order from here again.

The food was nice until I found a strand on a females hair in my kebab meat and chips.I called up the shop to sort the situation they told me to come back another time to get free kebab and chips however shouting over the phone why would I go back to there to get more food when I found a greasy strand of hair in my food

Screen shown delivery driver picked up order at 6pm. Arrived 6.20pm. Food gone into the bin because it was luke warm. Never again. Attitude from lady who was on the phone wasn't great. I got super annoyed and had to put phone down. What a waste of money! Never again. It was quite obvious that my delivery was after a few drops. No consideration for warmth of food.

Just had Kebab meat and chips from here very expensive and piss poor food. Totally a waste of money there are alot better chip shops about . I will not be going here again .

Food was good... however they forgot a sauce and the one they sent spilt out over the 2 drinks cans inside the bag they put them in. When I called to explain what happened the boss apologised but was not going to replace the spilt sauce or cans. At 50p a sauce that's quite cheeky. After some back and forth he agreed to send another fresh drinks and sauce... he came 1 can short and the driver argued he must bring the soiled cans back at my loss so I ended up taking one of the cans full of sauce out and scrubbing it in the sink while my food sat there going cold... annoying.. if anything goes wrong with your order just don't expect a helpful or reasonable solution let alone anything complementary... it was extremely petty and ruined my dinner tbh

This is a great local chippy. Nice friendly staff and their food is to die for. Portions are generous.... Highly recommended. Yum!

The second time I've ordered food from Olivers, quinton I have to say the food was fab. Batter on fish amazing, chips really good, won't go anywhere else when want chippy. We'll impressed.

Asked for extra salt and vinegar, came with non at all. Asked for sauces didn’t get any. Wouldn’t recommend, as they messed up my order.

We ordered food from them and they took the money and said it would be delivered the next day but we wanted it that night so we called and they blanked us there was no warning or nothing before we paid that it couldnt deliver that night

I ordered a kebab, asked for salad arrived with no salad and the pitta bread hadn’t been warmed through so a thick cold pitta - was very disappointed, kebab meat was also hard and dry so must’ve been the end of the night leftovers. Complained to just eat as soon as it arrived but didn’t seem to care so asked me to write a review

To b honest would not order again food was cold and seemed jst warmed up chips were hard and for a large piece of fish very small and soggy batter definitely not fresh and a yellowish colour not a nice white for the fish ..the fish looked more like a battered sausage than a light piece of fish .
