Pleasant pub. This is a normal weatherspoons pub that serves good food for the cost, staff are Pleasant and there is plenty of choice when it comes to seating whether you want to be inside or out. Toilets are where you expect in a weatherspoons (up the 4 flights of stairs and through 15 doors) but they are tidy and clean.

Not really for us but couldn't find anything better in the area. Cheap and cheerful.

Popped in for last min meal on own, ordered mixed grill, which was better than i expected. Was busy with drinkers, tables were on need of a wipe

If I could give the staff a minus 1, I think it would be too much. Understandably, the bar was busy as it was a sunny Friday afternoon..stood at the bar in a queue only to be over looked as the bar girl Meg decided to serve people infront and behind me because they were her "regulars". A customer noticed this and called her out on this on my behalf. Rather than apologise and take accountability for her wrong doing, she decided to become sarcastic and rude towards myself and the lovely gentleman who stepped in for me.. Now because I challenged her at the bar, she clearly decided to have a conversation about this with her colleague infront of me (the young girl with the double nose piercings). As myself and my friend was leaving, I went up to the girl with the nose piercings to ask a simple question about the food, she clearly had a grievance with me as she was very dismissive and rude. At that point I just walked off. The pub and the food itself are great but the staff need an attitude transplant because they have no form of customer service whats so ever! As business owner myself, I'd of put the 2 girls in back of house as they do not meet the requirements to serve front of house! They spoilt my experience and i left with a bad taste. With all that being said, the lady with the dark hair and the lovely unusual name is an asset to you public house, give her a raise!

Great menu, big venue in a popular location, but there is nothing special or unique about this place, the food was ok but the décor could maybe do with an update.

Enjoyed a light breakfast. Pub was well presented, clean. Staff friendly. Washroom facilities good.

No parking available. Have to go upstairs to toilets

I ordered a double American cheese burger the cheese didn't come melted and I could just take it if the burger bu itself and tye bacon was freezing cold like the just took it out of there freezer it also has given me food poisoning

Need a refurb.. painting shoddy.. leak stains all over.. floor by the bar so sticky would pull your shoes off

So it was bank holiday weekend, yes me and my friends have had a drink but we wasn’t drunk, and they said we couldn’t come in but they let other people in I’m sorry but thats not right in my eyes

One of the girls was very rude. I asked for a straw and she throwed them at me... she literally threw them. Really dissapointed!

13th may I visited the establishment, got refused an alcoholic drink as I didn’t have ID which is understandable. But when asked for a refund they refused. And didn’t offer to change it for a soft drink. The food was ok but the bacon was cold and the tomato looked about 2weeks old. Used to love this pub as I live around the corner but stopped coming in as always seemed to be some kind of issue. No ash trays outside either which is a fire hazard would suggest getting that sorted. Around 2pm tables were dirty with plates and dirt, floor staff don’t seem to exist here, maybe more training needed? Worked for spoons before so I know that training procedures are usually pretty good. Maybe new staff? And I don’t think the hourly toilets checks were done either as was a mess. And a bag of what seems to be coke on the floor. Anyway, it is a nice looking place unfortunately has dropped off in recent times. And a convenient location.

Service was slow which is very unusual but they did explain why. They ran out of carrots but didn't mention this when ordering our foo to y No toilet paper in the three out of four toilets, plus all hand creams where empty in the ladies

Bit smaller than a lot of JDW locations but has a reasonable sized outdoor seating area, which I would use on a warmer day. Drinks were cheap, and locals were very friendly.

Very quiet in there but it was midweek , garden lovely for the kids all fenced off

Great place in terms of value for money. The food is good for the price you pay. The staff are all friendly. The only thing that let's the place down is the atmosphere on Friday and Saturday evenings - I avoid those two evenings like the plague! Other than that, it is worth a visit.

Food is hit and miss here. Sometimes it's nice, the majority it's crappy and it's like the food is warmed up in the microwave. Great place if your just wanting a drink and a natter. I wouldn't however recommend the food.

Upped their game. More efficient staff now for this very busy pub. Mixed ages. Great meet and greet place. No loud music great for chatting with mates.

It's wetherspoons, so filled with the cream of Wednesbury as you would expect, food really basic.. ham from a cheap packet of sandwich ham, otherwise, service was good, & poured a Guinness properly.

A typically nice weatherspoon pub, if you like the easy going friendly set up you will love this. Big pub, huge selection of drinks, full menu available, staff friendly and hard working,

Could do with a spruce up but not a bad place.

Good staff in a Weatherspoon's that is looking a bit tired. The carpet has been replaced. However, now the pub just needs a lick of paint to brighten the place up. The Aircon is always on full blowing cold air in the winter, making this pub a cold place to sit so customers sit in coats and jumpers .The pub has a great selection of real ales and now with a suggestion box to ask customers to choose "your favorite" ale. Food prices are excellent, and the quality and service are quick.

First drink of the evening . Male bar staff chose blatantly to serve a group of females that had just come to bar while we had already waited & watched him bottle up . When my partner who is deaf so sounds louder than most raised concerns we were refused to be served . The female bar maid Izzy could see we had been waiting & the manageress refused to listen to our concerns but truly hope she watches back CCTV to see how unfair our treatment was . I understand that it’s difficult to see who is next but even when we said we were first he continued to serve the female group individually . My partner was too embarrassed to say I’m deaf that’s why it seemed like his voice was raised & the manageress just didn’t want too listen

Nice pub but need to clear tables more quickly flies and wasps over tables also people smoking in non smoking area not just cigarettes but weed shame cause it's great location.

Food is always lovely, and comes out really quickly. The staff are always helpful and polite.

Food arrived cold an hour after order. 30 mins more for drinks ordered same time. Complained politely- don’t want to upset people who are going to warm your food! Deputy manager just shrugged & glared! Not a word of apology/ explanation! NEVER AGAIN!!!

Nice place to grab some food and drinks with your mates on Friday evening.

Absolutely disgusting food was mouldy when my brother went and then the drinks had mouldy fruit inside and the manager was rude and disrespectful and said its not dog friendly and told us to leave never going back again.

Great breakfast and when I ordered decaf tea they gave me a mug with 2 teabags so I could refill. The food was brought out really quickly too. As the Terminator said: "I'll be back"!

Good food and a nice selection of ales

Very popular booza cheaper than west brom spoons and that tells you a difference story.

A warning to all those disabled people who are tempted to dine here... avoid the place!!! The ground floor "Disabled" toilet is open to all, even those without a "radar" disabled key.. The toilet seat would not stop up, so the men use it without putting the seat up, so if you are desperate .......don't forget you wellington boots, and waterproof lower garments.

Smaller than the average Wetherspoons. Food was nice and hot, no parking but there is parking not far away, tables need to be cleaned more regular.

It's been ages. I wanted to visit this weatherspoon branch. Overall, it's a reasonable place for its atmosphere. Extremely busy and parking is a nightmare if you don't know the area.

Another weekend another breakfast in wetherspoon. I can’t live without it,you have to try to understand. Cosy place for kids and families

It's a split level 19th century pub conveniently located along the High Street area... There are plenty of indoor and outdoor seating Service staff are welcoming and lovely during our visit It's also a very popular gathering place for the locals

Nice set menus and offer nights for the meals Good table app system Loos recently need more work from last visit . Coffee refillable and tap water both neat self service options My favourite aspect is beer garden that brings light and joy come day and night hours.

Classic British pub, much fun, good memories

The bellwether first impression was a usual wetherspoons, same carpets same set out and same menu. The choice of beers selection is very good. Unfortunately that's the positives of this place, it's not very clean, very sticky tables and staff would walk past tables and not give it a clean. The food we ordered was awful, slightly undercooked and the centre was doughy, chips were nasty, shame as chips are usually amazing from the spoons and poor quality steak. The 😮 shocker for me was going to the toilets and they have cameras near the urinals. I can see it is probably for drug control but it seems like the angles it positioned, well it's questionable. I don't think I will be going back to this wetherspoons.

A great selection of cask (real) ales. I like the staff, very friendly. If I lived closer this would be my local. I ended up having two meals there 💪🏻along with plenty of beer 🍻. Great time! I look forward to visiting again 🎉

Had a mixed grill , struggled to cut any of the meat with the steak knife , never asked how I wanted the steak or if everything was good like they used to, very disappointed, will not be going there again for food . The staff sat shatting at a table, no one behind the bar.

Meal wasn't very good as fish was overcooked and the custard was watery. Will not go their again Very disappointed.

I like Wetherspoons pubs ,but this was a right mess ,went in good Friday and expected to be busy but there was food on the floor plates on tables and waited about 5 minutes to get served for a drink ,not enough staff for the time of year 😞 others better.

So apparently regulars can have there kids in there past 9 but new comers cannot. Absolute joke.

It has its good and bad points! Some of the staff can be friendly and I don’t find that in many Wetherspoons so fair play. On the other hand if you don’t wanna make my cocktail don’t leave me hanging on 9 minutes after the order where I’m having to come and ask for it. Just say it’s late and give me a refund. Still waiting for my refund on those two chocolate caramel brownies you didn’t have.

Great pub, great food, my only gripe was there was food on the floor all around our table, but on the whole I like the place.
