Came in for a few drinks with work friends. I was served by Nay at the bar. She was very lovely and friendly. She couldn’t be more helpful when I was struggling to decide what to order for pudding. 10/10 customer service from her :)

Come here a few times a year to meet up with friends. The staff have always been pleasant and polite. Food is lovely we can relax and chat whilst catching up.

Just got back from a truly awful experience here. Quiet pub, but an hour wait for food after ordering. Steak that's gone beyond food to becoming part of a deconstructed leather jacket. Inedible salad made with the scrapings from the back of a fridge drawer. Mash that had a deeper connection with window putty than potato. And an (un)sizzling plate loaded with peppers with that just-defrosted freshness you only normally get from leaving your freezer door ajar overnight. Don't know why we tried again after last time. Shan't again. Four years ago: It's not the first time we've had bad service here. But, it was quiet and we were hungry. Still, we waited 20 mins in a queue at the bar to be told they don't have a kids' pasta dish. So, trudged back to my table to ask kids for alternative. They wanted Mac and Cheese. Went back to till. Asked for Mac and Cheese. They don't have that. Apparently, they didn't have grated cheese. Then, they checked whether they had sliced cheese even. They didn't. Their menu is probably 50% reliant on cheese. To run out of cheese in any pub in West Brom is sacrilege. After 40 mins of toing and froing and consoling 2 tired, hungry toddlers, we abandoned. Rubbish.

The food was absolutely amazing and the atmosphere was lovely,not loud at all on a Thursday night.But our waiter Sam was lovely and checking in on us all the time and asking if we were OK or did we need anything so tonight meal was absolutely amazing.

Staff are friendly but tables are so sticky. One of the barmaids didn’t acknowledge us when bringing a drink over. Tables need to cleaned properly. They’re so sticky that it hurts to lift your arms off the table. Yeah you’re probably thinking don’t put your arms there then well it shouldn’t be an issue in the first place. I know it’s the 6 week’s holiday but that shouldn’t be used as an excuse for dirty tables.

It's OK before 12 forget it after if you just after a drink. Your waiting in line with people ordering food they need someone on the bar area all the time. Plus a bit over price but it is on the town senter

Thanks to the chefs Taylor and Dave, the food was amazing. We had the cheeseburger quesadilla, it was delicious and was such good value for money. And we had the offer on the childrens meals, making it so affordable for our family. Big thanks to Sam too for being a wonderful host.

Popped in here for breakfast and was pleasantly surprised they did a Mega. Service was happy and was swift and the food was great. Good value for £10 cappuccino and an extra large brekky. New fave now when I’m in town!

Terrible food again here, the last time I came here the quality of food was poor but I thought we would give it another try, I'm sorry we did because the food was awfully and the service wasn't much better, the place needs a good clean aswell. Tables were dirty and just a general stale smell to the place. We spent over £60 for two of us and I expected it to be better.

Incredibly poor service. Not enough staff. One till taking both food and drinks orders leading to a long queue. Many people served after me and the adjacent tables received their food while we were waiting but no explanation for this was given when asked. Two other customers I met at the bar had refunds (one for missing parts of their order, the other cancelling due to how long it was taking). I was told it would be 45 minutes which was fine but an hour after that I asked for a refund and left. The kids were happy to have Greggs instead but it’s not easy to find GF food for me on the high street. The whole experience was very disappointing.

Excellent value for money very tasty table service by Sam was 5star and the chefs Hananh and Tammy prepared the food to high standard we all enjoyed our breakfasts

Had a lovely meal, service was of excellent standards, food was amazing, veggie lasagne was the nicest I’ve had at a pub. But mostly I want to shout out to our waiter Sam he was so lovely and friendly, and gave us an amazing service, will defiantly be back and please let him know how happy we was with him today, a credit to your team for sure. We came here for breakfast today and couldn’t have been happier with the service from Sam, he went above and beyond and was alway around if we needed him! The food was great as well, i had the mega breakfast and barely managed to finish it! Excellent all around 👌🏻

It was delicious and was hot and ready to go, the service was also very quick, the atmosphere also was very calming and nice, which gave us time to talk and eat at the same time not being too rowdy or too quite

Myself and my partner visited on Sunday 14th. I ordered the roast turkey dinner which promised a piled high plate of goodness and a side order of cauliflower cheese. What came was shockingly bad. A tea spoon of what tasted like powdered mash, a few frozen roast potatoes, cold veg and one piece of very poor quality turkey. The cauliflower cheese was also awful. I had 2 small mouthfuls and left the rest. I complained but just got an apology. Avoid this place like the plague.!!!

Have just visited the hungry horse in west bromwich at the new square shopping centre. We had food and drinks and the service was good both at the bar and table service. We were served by sam who was outstanding. He took the to speak and made our stay a pleasure.

I came here recently and i had the worst experience ever.First they didnt give me any plates , second my pasta was freezing cold and i also ordered a wrap there was nothing in the wrap except for my chicken .I also noticed the whole time i was there the table next yo ne was not cleaned at all, overall horrible experience would definitely not come back.

Had a lovely relaxed meal lunch time on Saturday. Although it was busy, it didn't feel crowded or too loud. Service was excellent, staff were friendly and attentive. We would come back again.

Booked a table with me and some friends to have a nice catch up meal as I haven’t spoke to them in a while, the food was amazing, the bar staff are very friendly and their manager, Kyle was very friendly, I will definitely go back there

My first time in the Interceptor for over two years, and I have to say it was very nice, and much improved. I recommend the Wednesday special curries, and my nephew had steak which he says was wonderful. Staff were very helpful too.

The food is absolutely delicious and I love this recipe for dishes. Really love it!!!

Tables where sticky and the floor was covered in food for the whole time we was sitting. Chairs are covered with dirt. It was quiet no more than 3 other groups siting. Toilets stinks and floors all sticky looks like nobody was cleaning for a while. I used as well baby changing/disabled toilet so baby changing table I clean before because it was so dirty, floors sticky and full of rubbish and wipes. Been second time here and nothing changed. Will not be going again.

Ordered using the GreenKing app. Could clearly see my drink order being displayed on the screen infront of the 2 bar staff with a counter. Reached 20minutes before I lost my patience and had to order at the bar. Lady was rude and didn't even apologise. No words were exchanged just a sour look like she had been biting a fresh lemon for the last 20 minutes.....maybe that's where all the lemonade went. Bad service would avoid in future

Food was great. Super special breakfast was just enough to keep us going until lunch time and at a great price. Less than you pay in a supermarket cafe.

Atmosphere was okay, wasn’t loud or such. Ordered a drink, off the app which took 30 Minutes and me going up to the bar to even get. Food was just about warm but didn’t taste great, was more mushy. Never plan to return.

Had breakfast there 26th May. Warm welcome and friendly service from the guy behind the bar and also the waitress who served our food. Food was good and well worth the money . Been to a few Hungry horse establishments and never met staff as keen to please their customers as this place. Well done all
