The Interceptor in Sandwell

I used to love the food here but today not happy lasagne was over cooked chips was cold and the garlic bread cold ... Waiting at the bar was a wait too. Looks like no staff very sad today maybe different cook on a Tuesday as I love eating here usually

Location was great. Service was good, good looked and tasted amazing. I did have to clean my own table, and there was a noisy family behind allowing their child to scream, and ignoring the noise.. absolutely not the venue fault but staff could have asked them to calm the child down .

Staff where absolutely lovely and approachable food was just genuinely of low quality cheap prices but McDonald’s would been better come here after day out for little ones birthday !x staff sang and brought cake out which was lovely but food really does need looking at as would happily come back but not for food !x

Food is lovely, I had the curry, partner had the 6x small burgers and chips, kids had off the children's menu. Only problem is, is the portions were way too small. My sons had about 6 chips on there plate and I didn't have many more. Edit: came again a year after portions are still the same. Very little.

Sam was very helpful and found my Nephew’s missing puzzle piece much to his delight. Craig and Tammy provided excellent service and were very friendly. Excellent value for money with the £20 family deal.

I recently had the pleasure of dining at a the Interceptor, I was served by the most delightful ginger lesbian. She was not only a master at serving up delicious food, but she also had a fiery charm that added an extra kick to the whole experience. I had told her our party had not been here before, and she guided our experience and gave great advice on what food I would enjoy most. From the moment she took my order, I could tell that she had a passion for pleasing her customers. She is clearly very skilled with her hands as she paid great attention to detail, and handled the hot plates with such finesse. This coupled with her sharp tongue and quick wit, she continually kept the party entertained, ensuring we were satisfied with our experience. What really stood out was the way she interacted with her fellow staff members. The camaraderie and banter between them added a fun and playful atmosphere to the pub. It was clear that she was not only a skilled server, but also a valued member of the team. Overall, I would highly recommend stopping by this pub for a meal served up by this fiery redhead. Trust me, you won't be disappointed. Just be prepared for a dining experience that's sure to leave you craving more, I will definitely be returning.

We had perfectly cooked steak with sweet potato fries mine medium and daughters rare the guy that brought it was a lovely happy guy only thing if anything was no peppercorn sauce but I had the Caribbean sauce and that was nice

I would like to say the staff are very friendly and are very kind HOWEVER!!!! It first took 40 mins for me to even order my food and drinks with only one lady behind the bar they need to hire more staff behind the bar as the wait time is ridiculous. After I ordered my food I decided to visits the bathroom where I used the stall only to see the entire stall soaked in urine and the inside of the toilet and seat looked like it was covered in brown sludge (which I think everyone knows what I am talking about !!!) Not only that I waited another 40 mins for them to make a cheeseburger which was dryer than the Sahara dessert on a scorching day which I struggled to swallow My burger was burnt and the cheese looked like playdoh that was mixed with other colours and the onion rings were so soggy it tasted like a wet napkin. The staff member also did not know how to serve a pint with the biggest head I’ve ever seen I was going to tell her can I get another one except she was outside having a cigarette instead with no other staff members to be seen Overall the place is conveniently located at new square so I understand why people would go to the interceptor but why they would eat and drink is beyond me. I don’t want this place to close as I know this can affect a lot of people having a meal but the area managers really need to go back and revamp how to attend customer service and the quality of food they are serving!

We have been coming to The Interceptor now weekly for a few months and we can not complain one bit. The service is incredible and the staff are very welcoming and friendly. Especially Lynn, she always goes the extra mile to ensure we have everything we need. She is a credit to your team!

Spent a lovely afternoon at the West Bromwich interceptor. We ordered the keema stack and mac and cheese. Both were delicious would definitely recommend. The bar staff were brilliant they doubled checked with the chef to make sure our dietary requirements were met. Overall a nice afternoon with good food and great staff.

The quality of the ingredients of the breakfast were clearly cheap bulk buy rubbish, that was then cooked poorly. The service was lacking. Not a fan of this pub from the couple of times we've eaten here.

The new team leader was very helpful with assisting me in ordering my meal, despite being new she has a good understanding of the business & the chef Taylor has a very keen eye for food always delivery a very tasty dish :)

Came in for a Sunday dinner and it was lovely Charlotte and Hannah were great in the bar and Craig and sam served our food and kept the restaurant tidy and clean. Our Sunday dinners were beautifully made by rach, Dave and Taylor.

We come here every Saturday morning for breakfast. Though we have also ate at other tines of day. The staff are always friendly and helpful. The food is reasonably priced too. In West Bromwich I'd say this is the most family friendly pub, and well placed in The Square. If I compare this to say a Wetherspoon for value and quality of meals, I'd definitely choose this place.

It was a lovely experience to visit a pub that had a veg menu with more than 1 choice. And to see salad on a plate that was fresh. The fish and chips was lovely. It was nice to see the proportion of fish to batter was just right without it floating in oil. Our first time at the Interceptor. Will visit again. The price was reasonable too.

Awful spot to enjoy any meal. Just picture informing me that you don't have any straws for a milkshake and a chocolate drink after it has already been preordered and paid for. And showed no remorse or say sorry.

i had a splendid time at the interceptor i was served by a wonderful hostess named Anaiya she made me feel welcome and always had a smile on her face, she was quick on her feet when answering my questions about the food to accommodate for my allergies. The food was delicious. When i finished my food Anaiya recommended a few puddings and which would best accommodate me. After i had eaten she checked back on the table to ensure everything was okay with the food and the table was cleared very quickly. Will definitely be coming back, This was a memorable experience and would definitely recommendi

We came in as a family of 6 for lunch and everyone enjoyed their meals. We would highly recommend the Crispy chicken sandwich and Korean burger.

The food was ok. The drinks were reasonable and the atmosphere was nice. We would go again. 2 for 1 burger night on a Friday. If I paid full price I wouldn't be impressed, but for a cheap night out it was definitely worth it. The desserts were huge as always.

The waiter is absolutely fantastic always takes his time to talk to you and askes if everything is OK Maybe you could change your bread as it fell apart while I was eating my sandwich other then that the food was fantastic as always

So I took my mom and 1 year old daughter for lunch today and was utterly disappointed with my daughters meal. I ordered her, fish fingers, mash, and veggie sticks. The presentation wasn't too bad but my mom tried to cut the fish fingers into pieces and struggled. They must have been deep fried as it was a challenge to get the fork to pierce it. Once opened, there was hardly any fish in them. The veggie sticks weren't fresh. Luckily the mash was decent and my daughter ate all of it. After this experience, I won't be dining there again but if you wanted to go and grab a drink, the atmosphere isn't too bad.
