Was really looking forward to our first experience at marcos as I love my steak!🥩 The greeting was okay not wowed, drinks service was good But the food wasn’t great a 4/10 experience I had the prawn cocktail starter which had no flavour and could tell has been standing in the fridge for some time not freshly made! The steak I ordered looked good but came out luke warm and there was no taste to the steak wasn’t juicy and full of flavour just okay. I’ve had much better at miller and carter. For the price of a £170 bill I wasn’t happy. I was disappointed with this as it was a special occasion for me and my wife I had to pay extra for a window seat aswell which wasn’t great views so if your reading this don’t do that 😂👍 Took me over 10 mins to get my bill when looking around there was loads of staff just talking I expected better experience from a restaurant with the marco name

Visited on a Red Letter day voucher.We had an excellent lunch.It was worth paying the extra to sit by the window,both having previously, lived in Birmingham.We enjoyed picking out buildings and watching the sky change and weather systems coming in.The afternoon tea looked very generous,so i was glad we chose to have lunch instead.

Waiting for our room after early check in visited bar on 25th floor and asked about gluten free options on menu as I have coeliac. The bar person named Marius checked the bottle in question that was listed on drinks menu but pointed out that the bottle itself did not specify gluten free and on checking further did contain barley … opted for Apple 🍎 and Raspberry fusion instead but really impressed that he checked this in advance and prevented what round have been an unpleasant reaction. 10/10 Marius for excellent service and welcome to Hotel …

Great place to have an afternoon tea! They made a mistake about vegetarian instead of pescatarian but solved the issue at the end by giving us some extra salmon sandwiches. Service charge was added without notifying us, which my friend wasn't very pleased about. Other than that. A lovely place to go.

For all the hype this place gets I was disappointed. Sadly no knowledge of gluten intolerances by our waitress, could just manage gluten free bread. Scarce options for gluten free and it was so noisy in there, I didn't find it a great first experience. Dress code says no trainers, but loads of people were wearing them, so it's not as exclusive as it makes out. I got asked for feedback by the restaurant and no one followed it up so clearly they are happy with the service they provided to me, I won't be returning. Best thing was the view out the window!

The view is all this place has going for it. The food was okay but nothing to write home about. You will find better offerings downstairs in the miller and carter. Steak was not cooked as requested and still not up to standard when brought back. There was a small hair in my partners mac and cheese which was swapped for a fresh one once our waiter was informed. But the biggest let down was the service. We asked for water upon being seated which never made it to our table. We also asked for more wine after our starter which also never made it to the table. Definitely felt like an afterthought dining here and although the view was spectacular I can't see myself returning. The average but still tasty food (minus the hair) didn't outshine the service here.

I would say our afternoon tea experience was at best average. We were expecting so much more with such a well known chefs name over the door. As previous posts the sandwiches were underwhelming, and tasteless. The best part was the scone, and tea.we left the mass produced looking cakes. Our waiter however was lovely-im sorry i cant recall his name. Overal i think the venue is resting on its laurels due to the celebrity name and lovely views-however, the resturant we thought looked a bit tired and looks like needs a revamp.

Beautiful location amd some of the staff were pleasant. Starter was delicious, but the quality of the steak was very poor for a fine dining steakhouse, and it was not cooked as requested. Most people in our party did not eat their steak, as it was that bad, which was incredibly disappointing. The most disappointing part of the evening was the attitude of the manager and his colleague. Both were dismissive, defensive and rude. They had absolutely no customer service skills and lied about events on the night. I've received better customer service at McDonald's. I would not recommend this restaurant for the attitude of the staff alone.

Had dinner here tonight, nothing like it used to be. Walked in & it was more like a nightclub & felt like we had to shout to each other across the table. I asked for my steak to be cooked medium/well, it more of less walked to my table it was that raw. Then we had a birthday surprise cake & staff started to sing happy birthday at our table but it wasn’t our birthday it was the lady next to us. We ordered dessert and they came over saying it was a chocolate brownie but it was a sticky toffee pudding. The list just goes on of errors throughout the night, never will return again.

I bought the afternoon tea via Virgin Experience Days for my husband,s birthday. What an awful experience it was. Lack lustre atmosphere, tasteless sandwiches, stingy pot of jam for 2, sliced cakes ( unknown contents) instead of individually made, dry scone. The staff member was unaware of what decaf coffee was and brought tea! Then to end the whole experience off we have both been up in the night with severe food poisoning! 😒. I will not be returning or recommending this place.

We visited Marco Pierre White in Birmingham for a 40th birthday meal with a group of 18. Unfortunately, it was not a pleasant experience. The food was underwhelming—overly fatty, bland, and tasteless. For a high-end restaurant, we expected much better quality. To make matters worse, one of our guests paid £90 for a round of shots, only for Brian, the manager, to accuse us of recieving these when we hadn’t after one of the guests asked where they was. His attitude was rude and unprofessional, which left a sour taste after what should have been a celebratory occasion. It’s disappointing to see such poor service and unappetizing food, especially for a special event. Wouldn’t recommend it to anyone looking for a memorable dining experience.

My last night in the UK, this place was highly recommended by some really nice people I met while here, who apparently addressed the restaurant as their first choice! However I didn’t really experience the fine dine experience but a rude server who served me brown burnt bread no butter even, and as a person of colour I found this very insulting knowing brown burnt bread isn’t their complementary touch! Then when requesting to speak to the Mangaer she came across very defensive using her hands to speak with an attitude. Hopefully as she claimed it was, no one else of colour needs this sort of “mistake” happening to them!! HAPPY BLACK HISTORY MONTH ✌🏽

We visited for afternoon tea and, unfortunately, it didn’t quite meet expectations. The tea arrived lukewarm, and the sandwiches were underwhelming—some even tasted stale. We were given just one small pot of cream, which felt a little stingy. Despite having around 20 staff members, the service was slow. The tea and food were served before the prosecco, and we weren’t offered any additional sandwiches or drinks. That said, the atmosphere was lovely, and the views were stunning, which somewhat redeemed the experience. Overall, I’d give it a fair 7/10. Also, a service charge was added—are we in London?

The place is that down, it became a joke. Last time we ve been there, waitresses swapped our stakes and no one told us until we realised it ourselves eating it half way though and complained. Then waitress came and just swapped our plates lol how respectful was that move ""! This time I had a voucher from virgin experience for 2 people saying it's valid on any day Mon-Thurs except Xmas and valentine day. So we booked a day before valentine's - thursday 13th. The place doesn't answer phone calls at all, so eventually I had to email them a day before the visit to confirm our booking. In reply I received a phone call saying I can't use my voucher because it's valentine's day. But it's not, it's the 13th. Well, it's company policy I've heard 10 times. They don't bother breaching trading standards to sell for what it's been advertised. I didn't get why we can't use our voucher when it's written on it we can. Also I got some lies from the staff over the phone. Regarding she sent me an email with an explanation, but the only email I received from the place was a booking reminder. So I had to cancel my booking one day before valentine's day leaving me with no chance to book elsewhere. Nasty experience. I would rather bin the voucher than go to the place.

Marco Pierre White Birmingham Afternoon Tea A very pleasant afternoon tea with friends at the MPW at The Cube, Mailbox, Birmingham. The views are great and the restaurant nicely decorated, and the service was good. There are a couple of changes since we last had this 2 years ago, in that instead of the normal cake tier we were given two wooden blocks with the food on, which blocked our view of our friends for most of the meal until we placed the cakes on a plate and removed the wooden blocks. Also previously we had proper cakes and these were cake slices. Still we enjoyed ourselves and we did use our £60.00 voucher for £100.00 value, which again has changed over the years when it was £50.00 for £100.00 during Black Friday event. The standard Afternoon Tea price is £24.95 per person, and you can add to that as well. It is also difficult for hospitality at the present and it was very quiet on the Tuesday afternoon when we attended. Regards Gary Saunders

Waited 30 min for someone to take our order and actually had to call someone to do this. Once we did order the food came relatively quickly. I ordered a medium rare steak and received a medium one. The view was nice but that's about it. We did inform our waiter about the wait and he did apologise but the whole experience left us not waiting to go back.

We visited the restaurant with a gift voucher which I had received for Christmas. The views were amazing even though we chose not to sit by the window. For our starter, we had bread and whitebait, both of which were delicious. Before we had finished our starters, our mains were already on the table, which made the meal feel very rushed. We both ate a ribeye steak for our mains. Both steaks were cooked to a perfect medium-rare. My only complaint is that the steaks were both very gristly and felt like a fairly cheap cut. This was slightly disappointing but it was generally a nice meal which we both enjoyed. When the bill came, we had been charged for the peppercorn sauce, which we had initially been told was included. The waitress was very helpful and removed this fee from the bill. Overall, it was a pleasant meal and made for a nice evening.

The dining experience and customer service were severely lacking. Firstly, one of the waitresses inadvertently spilled water on our table. Secondly, I had informed the reception desk that this booking was for my wife, as we were here to celebrate her birthday. I inquired if they offer any special birthday promotions, and she assured me that she would relay this information to the manager and manager will organise nice birthday wish message on the table Despite my request, they did not bother to offer us birthday wishes. Therefore, I am uncertain whether any special measures were taken to accommodate our occasion.

If there was an option I would give zero stars. The arrogance of staff explains the decrease in rating of the restaurant. Cancelled the booking via email at 15:58, 2 min before grace period expired. Tried to contact via phone to confirm the attendance, unfortunately unsuccessfully. When came to the reception desk at 16.00 have been told that table is gone and they are fully booked. Poor customer service. Do not recommend.

I booked a table after having a 50% off mains email come through. It states it’s on till 6. My table was booked at 6. They was running behind and moved my table booked to 6:15 even tho I had a confirmation booking at 6:00. They would not honour the 50% off. 1 manager did the other manager didn’t. I’ve not been her in a few years and I won’t be in a rush to go back, the place is a rip off. I told them I was going to leave a review and they didn’t even care

I recently visited this restaurant and was very disappointed with the service. Here’s what happened: They brought out our main courses while we were still eating our starters, which felt rushed and disorganized. Nobody asked if we wanted drinks, and they didn’t clear the empty glasses we had on the table, leaving us with five cluttered glasses throughout the meal. While my son was still eating his main meal, they started clearing plates, which made us feel uncomfortable and hurried. No one came to check if the food was okay at any point during our visit. To make matters worse, they brought the bill while my son was still eating, as if they wanted us to leave quickly. I asked to have the service charge removed from the bill because I was unhappy with the experience. The person I assume was the supervisor (dressed differently) agreed but didn’t bother asking for feedback or showing any concern. Overall, the service was unprofessional and inattentive, leaving us feeling rushed and unvalued as customers. I wouldn’t recommend dining here if you’re looking for a relaxing and enjoyable meal.

When we arrived we were taken to our table for our afternoon tea. The waitress asked about I tolerances and allergies and we both said no butter on our sandwiches and my sister said that she had an allergy to garlic and chocolate. This had never been a problem before in other establishments including the Savoy where we last had afternoon tea. My sister said she could eat the sandwiches and scones. Staff of varying levels came to see her to say that because of cross contamination it would cause a problem. She was then asked to sign a disclaimer which gas never happened before and was very embarrassing. At this point and we are half an hour in, we had no tea or prosecco. My sisters fizzy arrived but not mine. The head waitress came out to say that the chef was refusing to serve my sister afternoon tea despite her signing the waiver. Still no tea and we are three quarters of an hour into our experience. My prosecco arrived and we were offered a very limited menu for a 2 course lunch which she had to go with. I still had the afternoon tea which arrived long after my sister got her food. We eventually had tea. The afternoon tea consisted of dry sandwiches, a macaroon and 3 cakes I could barely eat and a scone which didn't seem that fresh. Towards the end of our 2 hours we were offered more tea but service was definitely lacking. I paid for our window seats and was told that they had waived the service charge. Frankly I would have argued the service charge anyway as we had had such an awful experience. Would I eat there again, definitely not. It was not worth the money. My sister and I love to go for afternoon tea, high end and low end and this was the worst.

This place is overrated Me & my girlfriend celebrated our anniversary here hoping for some really good food and drinks We were quite disappointed. I had a simple burger + fries -> difficult to find the entrance to this restaurant -> £5 Per person charge if you’d like to sit by the window -> no music playing, all I could hear was people talking -> the window seats were really close to other people -> if you ask for sauce you will have to ask multiple times as the pot they give out is tiny, and they only fill it 1/4 full -> meat was dry -> meat had multiple hard gristle pieces inside -> fries were ok -> Drinks were ok but I expect better for the price -> 1 cocktail is £14 -> free happy anniversary “desert” (It was “happy anniversary” written in chocolate with a strawberry cut in half and a small chocolate brownie cut in half) -> how can a Chocolate Brownie + Strawberry taste weird ? - it tasted stale / old 2 burgers, Fries 4 cocktails Total Price= £120 (price does not reflect quality at this restaurant) Will not go back here again, I wouldn’t recommend it to anyone either.

It’s ok.. but the service is a bit slow and the workers don’t seem to know what they’re doing. At the end, we were given a service charge on top of our meal, this is not required so we got it removed. A service charge?? For 2 people. Then we had to work out our own bill as they don’t have the system to work it out and the staff cannot do that. The food quality is poor too. Not worth the high price. I would however recommend the Afternoon tea which was pleasant.

Table was booked for 8pm came 20 minutes early on a Monday night 23rd Dec. Quiet. Was waiting over 5 minutes to get acknowledged let alone served! Failed to get served. Got to our table had a nice meal excellent. Our red wine arrived a little late but was forgivable as the food was awesome. Finished the meal was great and the waiter's were great. My biggest gripe. 9.45 the bar closed 2 days before Christmas. Wasn't aware of closing time. Was waiting at bar to be served at around 9.58 bar man was rude. Was standing there again for about 5 mins before he acknowledged me. Came today 22/12/24 for a family Christmas meal, 8 of us dined at 4pm-6pm. The Restaurants decor is lovely but the whole experience left us very disappointed. The atmosphere was flat and for nearly an hour no background music until I asked why not? My roast chicken lunch was a small, dry, overcooked chicken leg. I would have expected at least chicken breast meat for this level of restaurant. Some of the ladies toilets were blocked and only a couple of them in use. I really expected more than what we got today. Very disappointed with the whole experience. I will be sending an email to the restaurant.

Had a Christmas work party, Robert was a perfect floor manager, we are a big group (15 people) and had a couple hiccups but he was amazing with sorting everything out and making the night amazing, after lunch we hit the bar where Andre was absolutely fantastic, attentive, charismatic and went out for the way to make our evening amazing! Overall being honest the food was not the best, that being said being in hospitality myself I know that Christmas can be a stressful time and the who team made up for any issues, to be specific Robert made sure that any issues wouldn’t disturb our night! Our waitress Amara was super attentive, kind and made sure we were happy, our drinks were full and we were having a great night Andre was making the perfect cocktail, making sure our drinks were always topped up! I would 100% recommend coming for any occasion!

Turned up for 12 pm birthday reservation at 11:50am, to be told can you wait aside because we don’t open to 12. Then be waiting till 12:05 and off our own back go back up to check in. THEN when seated for 40 minutes not one member of staff came over to see if at least we want any drinks. Absolutely crap service. Won’t be coming here again

My friends and I attended the restaurant for our 60th birthday celebrations.. We arrived on time and were told our table wasn't ready and sit near the bar or in the chill area.. We sat in the chill area, it was 5.45pm... We waited and waited and after an hour my friend went to check out what was happening... We were told they had forgotten us. Ten minutes later a young lady came to fetch us.. By now we were very hungry. We were not given an explanation why we had waited for over an hour to be seated. Staff were very polite and friendly. I ordered medium rare steak and chips... When the steak came it was like a micro steak.. Definitely not med rare.all through.. Not consistently cooked.. Tasty chips. 0Fish and chips were tasty. Christmas dinner also tasty as per my friend. Nice ambience. Polite staff Overpriced and slightly disappointing. Just waiting an hour to be seated set the standard

Great view of the city. Nice atmosphere. Comfortable and clean. Limited menu. Staff were attentive and friendly. My medium rare steak was a bit overcooked but OK. Soup for starters and caramel Eaton mess for pudding, both were very good. Excellent bar service with good selection of cocktails. Toilets were a bit basic. Nice enough, but a bit overhyped for what you get.

Yesterday (30th November 2024) we had a booking at Marco Pierre White Steakhouse for afternoon tea at their Birmingham location. One of the guests attending is Coeliac and cannot have any cross contamination or eat items with may contain. Because of this we are always vigilant and take the time to do our research prior to booking a reservation. On the Marco Pierre website it is advertised that “Gluten Free Alternatives available with a minimum of 48 hours notice”. With that in mind we decided to book (done back in August) and put clearly on the booking that one gluten free afternoon tea would be wanted. On arriving at the venue (all looking forward to the christmas themed afternoon tea!) we were told to just let our waiter know that a gluten free afternoon tea would be wanted. The waiter did ask if there were any allergens and we responded with just gluten. The waiter said no problem and left us to enjoy our glass of bubbles. A few minutes later our waiter returns with a piece of paper and biro. The piece of paper was a waiver asking for the coeliac in the group to sign away that any cross contamination and allergens from the food provided was not at the fault of the restaurant. Never in the 20 plus years of going to restaurants with a coeliac have I experienced the need to sign a waiver. You are a restaurant that is providing a service. You should not be putting the responsibility of your mal-service onto your customers. The waiver was not explained to us on arriving at the venue, on the website, via email correspondence with the restaurant or on sitting down at the table. This piece of paper is so in-personal, was given with such a lack of decorum it left us speechless and to an extent was a humiliating and embarrassing encounter for the coeliac who only ever wants to feel seen as different. When asked why this was needed we were told the same thing over and over again by our waiter, the manager and the senior manager, that this was their process. It only came to light when we pressed them why the waiver was needed that the food provided within the gluten free afternoon tea in fact had bought in items that had may contain. To me this means that the chef ordering the advertised gluten free items is in fact knowingly ordering items that in fact are not totally gluten free. This is unacceptable and false advertisement from the Marco Pierre White chain. We will not be returning to this chain and would not recommend this chain to any coeliacs.

Unfortunate circumstances and poor service made the experience a one to forget. For back story this booking was for a proposal and was booked over a month in advance. We were stuck in gridlock traffic for over an hour and unfortunately meant we were considerably late. The restaurant cancelled our booking and couldn’t get us another table (totally understandable, while disappointing) we were forced to sit on the terrace which was actually quite nice, good view and was heated so wasn’t a bad experience honestly. We had to ask a waiter to come out to us to take our order. We ordered our mains and starters to come out together. Our starters never came out the mains did and the food was good. We asked about the starters but after waiting a few more minutes we asked for the bill. The starters then came out shortly after but we decided to leave them and left

nice place with an absolute beautiful view and me and my family are a regular here. however, today was my mothers 40th birthday and they completely ruined it. booked for 4 people at 5pm, came at the right time and keep in mind there was lots of space. they didnt even set up our table and told us to wait. we told them we wanted to cancel and started to argue with us! instead of saying sorry they decided to seat a non-reservation table who was behind us!!! absolutely ridiculous!

Had the worst experience from the get go. We we're running 20 minutes late due to traffic, when we arrived our booking had been cancelled. We were then asked to wait another half an hour which we we're happy to do so. Returning to the reception we asked if we we're going to get charged on the cancellation which the girl said no, she will make a not that it wasn't our fault. We then stood there waiting while she seated other guests, she returned an asked what we were waiting for, we said our table that had been changed to a different time that we have been waiting for, she then said that we asked her to cancel this table, which I then explained that I had simply asked to make sure I wasn't getting a cancellation fee from the table that they had first cancelled. She then went on to tell another member of staff that we had asked for our table, this wasn't the case and I tried to explain again, but unfortunately wasn't getting through to the inexperienced girl they have on reception. We received no apology for them being at fault from any member of staff not even the manager. They could clearly see we were very upset as this was a special gift from someone for my partners birthday, he has never been to this restaurant and will definitely not be returning. My partner has worked in hospitality for a very long amount of years as he is head chef and has never been spoken to the way he had by an assistant manager. The way both of the staff spoke to us as customers was very degrading and rude to the point that I sat crying at the table and none of the staff acknowledged it but were able to point it out to other members of staff as when we spoke to the manager he said he was aware of this.

I think the atmosphere and the food are fantastic. Was a bit disappointed with the amount of time they took to bring out food, considering we pre ordered food. On top of that, they had to check everyone's orders over, although they had the orders printed out on everyone's seat. Other than a few hiccups in service of food, the service was great and caring. They showed a lot of attention to our dietary needs, which showed their care for their customers. Therefore, I am leaving a 5-star review despite a bit of dissapoint, because sometimes being patient brings out a better and more pleasant meal.

The steak was cold. Not just mine , but 3 out of 6 at our table. Chimichuri sauce was the worse I ever tried , didn’t finish it. Obviously the cold food will go for the service as they need to make sure that the food arrives on table at the right temperature. The view is nice but the music is the same as the bar , not music to dine but to laud music to dance. Definitely not value for money as is not a cheap please . I don’t think I recommend the place at all. Maybe for a drink.

I visited the restaurant for a friend’s birthday, Disappointing Experience I had high expectations for Marco Pierre Steakhouse but, unfortunately, was very let down. The service was incredibly slow—even though the restaurant wasn’t very busy, it took almost 30 minutes just to get water and place our orders. When the food finally arrived, it was lukewarm at best, and my steak was overcooked and dry despite ordering it medium-rare. Also I had a ribeye steak which was 2/3 of fat. For the price, I expected quality sides, but daphinoise potatoes where very buttery.To make matters worse, our server was inattentive and hardly checked on our table, leaving us with empty glasses for most of the meal. He seemed that he was rushed. Overall, Marco Pierre feels overpriced and overrated. There are far better places to enjoy a quality steak experience. Wouldn’t recommend it and won’t be going back. The only thing worth it was the views.

Booked vegan afternoon tea as have an egg and dairy allergy. Was repeatedly served meat and dairy, I told them numerous times I have an allergy it’s not a lifestyle choice. Waitress didn’t seem to know that salmon and cream cheese were items I couldn’t have. Repeatedly told the clotted cream was vegan and after asking for the fifth time they actually said it wasn’t. I actually felt too scared to continue to eat. I have emailed a formal complaint three times and have yet to receive and response at all. Avoid if you have any allergies as they aren’t taken seriously

We had the set menu as part of the voucher experience. Very limited choices to choose from this menu. The butcher’s steak was very rare even though I ordered medium, it wasn’t rested and blood was running from it, it was completely inedible I literally couldn’t get my steak knife through it let alone try to chew it and digest it. The waitress was very rude slamming down the cutlery and had an abrupt manner like she just didn’t want to be there. No apologies for the quality of the service or food (needless to say we removed the discretionary service charge), such a poor experience and I will never come here again or recommend it to anyone.

Like many people we visited to use a gift voucher, ours was for 2 courses and prosecco. Charging extra to sit near the window sets the scene for how the visit is going to go. Bit disappointed to be seated at a table with crumbs and salt on, hadn't been wiped properly since the last customer. The menu choices were quite limited but we expected that. The starters were of good quality and flavours. Included in the voucher is a small 6oz butchers steak with surcharges on Sirloin, Ribeye or Fillet. We both took the sirloin upgrade and the steak was cooked exceptionally well, although mine was on the fatty side. The chips provided were odd, several weren't really cooked inside and had the texture and coating of a frozen chip, surely a chef wouldn't put their name on a restaurant using cash and carry chips? Service was mostly good except a drinks order going missing for a while. The automatic tip added isn't just on the extras and drinks, but the value of the voucher too so is quite high. Overall the 'free/gifted' lunch cost an extra £50. Toilets are rough with broken taps and adverts on the walls like a motorway services. Hard to tell what level they're aiming at with the mixed levels of quality throughout. Overall a good experience but not the level I'd expect having dined at other chef branded venues. Without the view it's hard to see what stands out here.

Lovely restaurant with great views of Birmingham, food and atmosphere. Great choice for my birthday. Elina provided impeccable service initially but I think she either went on break or finished her shift and service went downhill from there. The restaurant was not busy but it took half an hour for puddings to be served after clearing our plates, we had to prompt it as it felt like we had been forgotten about. Would of been 5 stars had it not been for that.

Came to MPW with moderate expectations, what we got didn’t even come close. Firstly have to say it was 2/5 and not less, not because of the food and not because of the staff, it’s purely because of the views and the terrace. The whole experience was in a word Loud. We came and were seated in the restaurant but it genuinely felt like eating dinner in the middle of a club dancefloor. Who has a live DJ in a restaurant at 5:30pm in an open plan room, MPW that’s who. If we would have had warning we probably wouldn’t have booked, in the hope other days were quieter. We didn’t get a drinks menu and had to ask twice. The person serving either couldn’t hear or wasn’t listening. Food was ok not terrible not special. The bill was wrong but easily rectified though despite it being a terrible experience the service charge was still on it. I know we could have asked for it to be removed but quite frankly we wanted to leave ASAP and given we were gifted a voucher it wasn’t much to pay. The guy serving was quite abrupt but Tbf suited us because it made the experience quicker. Would we come back? Only for someone’s birthday or if they gave away free earplugs to wear during the meal; If for a birthday meal would probably bring my own.

This is the first time that we have encountered SNOBS Birmingham. I was expecting it to be a dive because it is a late night bar! I cannot express how fabulous this bar is! The bar staff today remembered our drinks after only 1 round! The staff were friendly, hospitable and just all round friendly. We are in. Our late 50s. We will definitely make this a place to revisit next time we visit Birmingham. Thank you staff 01/02/2025. You are truly the best 👌

This used to be the best fish & chip shop in the area, sadly that’s no longer the case. Paid over £15 for what was supposedly a ‘large’ fish & chips. What arrived was a thin strip of fish, this place is clearly cutting a fillet in half & selling as 2 portions, it wasn’t even served in one piece as had been broken upon serving. The attitude of the serving staff was appalling - just shrugged her shoulders & walked away. Don’t waste your money here - it’s a poor imitation of its former self.
