The only complaint I have is that it wasn't made clear to us that you paid to sit by the window £5 per person. I believe that it should be made clear to the customer. Everything was excellent.

I booked a table after having a 50% off mains email come through. It states it’s on till 6. My table was booked at 6. They was running behind and moved my table booked to 6:15 even tho I had a confirmation booking at 6:00. They would not honour the 50% off. 1 manager did the other manager didn’t. I’ve not been her in a few years and I won’t be in a rush to go back, the place is a rip off. I told them I was going to leave a review and they didn’t even care

Food and front of house was fantastic. Only let down was a rude member of bar staff (bar tender)needs some customer service support as his attitude was off putting and demeaning .

I recently visited this restaurant and was very disappointed with the service. Here’s what happened: They brought out our main courses while we were still eating our starters, which felt rushed and disorganized. Nobody asked if we wanted drinks, and they didn’t clear the empty glasses we had on the table, leaving us with five cluttered glasses throughout the meal. While my son was still eating his main meal, they started clearing plates, which made us feel uncomfortable and hurried. No one came to check if the food was okay at any point during our visit. To make matters worse, they brought the bill while my son was still eating, as if they wanted us to leave quickly. I asked to have the service charge removed from the bill because I was unhappy with the experience. The person I assume was the supervisor (dressed differently) agreed but didn’t bother asking for feedback or showing any concern. Overall, the service was unprofessional and inattentive, leaving us feeling rushed and unvalued as customers. I wouldn’t recommend dining here if you’re looking for a relaxing and enjoyable meal.

When we arrived we were taken to our table for our afternoon tea. The waitress asked about I tolerances and allergies and we both said no butter on our sandwiches and my sister said that she had an allergy to garlic and chocolate. This had never been a problem before in other establishments including the Savoy where we last had afternoon tea. My sister said she could eat the sandwiches and scones. Staff of varying levels came to see her to say that because of cross contamination it would cause a problem. She was then asked to sign a disclaimer which gas never happened before and was very embarrassing. At this point and we are half an hour in, we had no tea or prosecco. My sisters fizzy arrived but not mine. The head waitress came out to say that the chef was refusing to serve my sister afternoon tea despite her signing the waiver. Still no tea and we are three quarters of an hour into our experience. My prosecco arrived and we were offered a very limited menu for a 2 course lunch which she had to go with. I still had the afternoon tea which arrived long after my sister got her food. We eventually had tea. The afternoon tea consisted of dry sandwiches, a macaroon and 3 cakes I could barely eat and a scone which didn't seem that fresh. Towards the end of our 2 hours we were offered more tea but service was definitely lacking. I paid for our window seats and was told that they had waived the service charge. Frankly I would have argued the service charge anyway as we had had such an awful experience. Would I eat there again, definitely not. It was not worth the money. My sister and I love to go for afternoon tea, high end and low end and this was the worst.

Having had a very poor experience of MPW restaurant in London, we were very pleasantly surprised with the quality of the Birmingham experience. We had afternoon tea with champagne.Lovely food, great views and good service. Will be back

This place is overrated Me & my girlfriend celebrated our anniversary here hoping for some really good food and drinks We were quite disappointed. I had a simple burger + fries -> difficult to find the entrance to this restaurant -> £5 Per person charge if you’d like to sit by the window -> no music playing, all I could hear was people talking -> the window seats were really close to other people -> if you ask for sauce you will have to ask multiple times as the pot they give out is tiny, and they only fill it 1/4 full -> meat was dry -> meat had multiple hard gristle pieces inside -> fries were ok -> Drinks were ok but I expect better for the price -> 1 cocktail is £14 -> free happy anniversary “desert” (It was “happy anniversary” written in chocolate with a strawberry cut in half and a small chocolate brownie cut in half) -> how can a Chocolate Brownie + Strawberry taste weird ? - it tasted stale / old 2 burgers, Fries 4 cocktails Total Price= £120 (price does not reflect quality at this restaurant) Will not go back here again, I wouldn’t recommend it to anyone either.

Where to start well the menu as according to the staff it hasn’t been updated until new year, no specials, actually nothing interesting on it. Waiting 15 minutes to be asked for a drink, tough steak and no atmosphere “marco im sure your better than this “

I have eaten here a long time ago, and wasn't impressed, but that was a long time ago... Since then I've popped to the bar for drinks a few times, but never stayed too long as a little pricey. However, for views, terrace and something different as you bar hop, it's worth a visit. I'm planning to try the food again, so will update my reviews in time...

It’s ok.. but the service is a bit slow and the workers don’t seem to know what they’re doing. At the end, we were given a service charge on top of our meal, this is not required so we got it removed. A service charge?? For 2 people. Then we had to work out our own bill as they don’t have the system to work it out and the staff cannot do that. The food quality is poor too. Not worth the high price. I would however recommend the Afternoon tea which was pleasant.

We had the 2 course festive menu and left feeling full and satisfied Generous portion sizes and great flavours The views are amazing from everywhere in the restaurant The outside terraces are gorgeous Toilets were clean All staff are very friendly, professional, and polite It took a while for my moijto to arrive, but it was well worth the wait it was a classic Give yourself time to get down in the lift as you are on the 24th floor

We had an excellent meal. Thr steak the starters were worth the bill. Food from starters to dessert with MPW signature. The bar however killed my overall visiting experience. Table was booked for 8pm came 20 minutes early on a Monday night 23rd Dec. Quiet. Was waiting over 5 minutes to get acknowledged let alone served! Failed to get served. Got to our table had a nice meal excellent. Our red wine arrived a little late but was forgivable as the food was awesome. Finished the meal was great and the waiter's were great. My biggest gripe. 9.45 the bar closed 2 days before Christmas. Wasn't aware of closing time. Was waiting at bar to be served at around 9.58 bar man was rude. Was standing there again for about 5 mins before he acknowledged me. How is MPW top floor on cube in Central Birmingham charging 99.95 per head on Xmas day which is fair enough but it's bar is closing at 9.45pm 2 days before Xmas day? And it's bar staff are rude and can't acknowledge guests especially after spending 180 quid on a food bill? Marco sort it out!

Reasturant was nicely designed. Service was mediocre food was not worth the money at all.

Came today 22/12/24 for a family Christmas meal, 8 of us dined at 4pm-6pm. The Restaurants decor is lovely but the whole experience left us very disappointed. The atmosphere was flat and for nearly an hour no background music until I asked why not? My roast chicken lunch was a small, dry, overcooked chicken leg. I would have expected at least chicken breast meat for this level of restaurant. Some of the ladies toilets were blocked and only a couple of them in use. I really expected more than what we got today. Very disappointed with the whole experience. I will be sending an email to the restaurant.

Had a Christmas work party, Robert was a perfect floor manager, we are a big group (15 people) and had a couple hiccups but he was amazing with sorting everything out and making the night amazing, after lunch we hit the bar where Andre was absolutely fantastic, attentive, charismatic and went out for the way to make our evening amazing! Overall being honest the food was not the best, that being said being in hospitality myself I know that Christmas can be a stressful time and the who team made up for any issues, to be specific Robert made sure that any issues wouldn’t disturb our night! Our waitress Amara was super attentive, kind and made sure we were happy, our drinks were full and we were having a great night Andre was making the perfect cocktail, making sure our drinks were always topped up! I would 100% recommend coming for any occasion!

Came down for some drinks and it was amazing service and loved the DJS music created an amazing atmosphere. I’ll be sure to come back again.

I visited yesterday at the Birmingham restaurant. Quite frankly given it was my 50th birthday meal the quality and presentation of the food was well under par. I’ve had better food at M&S cafe! We also ended up with stomach upset issues following our visit. Will not be returning

Standard for a 'high end' restaurant. Little too expensive but was nice. Views are pretty.

Turned up for 12 pm birthday reservation at 11:50am, to be told can you wait aside because we don’t open to 12. Then be waiting till 12:05 and off our own back go back up to check in. THEN when seated for 40 minutes not one member of staff came over to see if at least we want any drinks. Absolutely crap service. Won’t be coming here again

My friends and I attended the restaurant for our 60th birthday celebrations.. We arrived on time and were told our table wasn't ready and sit near the bar or in the chill area.. We sat in the chill area, it was 5.45pm... We waited and waited and after an hour my friend went to check out what was happening... We were told they had forgotten us. Ten minutes later a young lady came to fetch us.. By now we were very hungry. We were not given an explanation why we had waited for over an hour to be seated. Staff were very polite and friendly. I ordered medium rare steak and chips... When the steak came it was like a micro steak.. Definitely not med rare.all through.. Not consistently cooked.. Tasty chips. 0Fish and chips were tasty. Christmas dinner also tasty as per my friend. Nice ambience. Polite staff Overpriced and slightly disappointing. Just waiting an hour to be seated set the standard

Great view of the city. Nice atmosphere. Comfortable and clean. Limited menu. Staff were attentive and friendly. My medium rare steak was a bit overcooked but OK. Soup for starters and caramel Eaton mess for pudding, both were very good. Excellent bar service with good selection of cocktails. Toilets were a bit basic. Nice enough, but a bit overhyped for what you get.

Really enjoyed it and a lovely atmosphere

Yesterday (30th November 2024) we had a booking at Marco Pierre White Steakhouse for afternoon tea at their Birmingham location. One of the guests attending is Coeliac and cannot have any cross contamination or eat items with may contain. Because of this we are always vigilant and take the time to do our research prior to booking a reservation. On the Marco Pierre website it is advertised that “Gluten Free Alternatives available with a minimum of 48 hours notice”. With that in mind we decided to book (done back in August) and put clearly on the booking that one gluten free afternoon tea would be wanted. On arriving at the venue (all looking forward to the christmas themed afternoon tea!) we were told to just let our waiter know that a gluten free afternoon tea would be wanted. The waiter did ask if there were any allergens and we responded with just gluten. The waiter said no problem and left us to enjoy our glass of bubbles. A few minutes later our waiter returns with a piece of paper and biro. The piece of paper was a waiver asking for the coeliac in the group to sign away that any cross contamination and allergens from the food provided was not at the fault of the restaurant. Never in the 20 plus years of going to restaurants with a coeliac have I experienced the need to sign a waiver. You are a restaurant that is providing a service. You should not be putting the responsibility of your mal-service onto your customers. The waiver was not explained to us on arriving at the venue, on the website, via email correspondence with the restaurant or on sitting down at the table. This piece of paper is so in-personal, was given with such a lack of decorum it left us speechless and to an extent was a humiliating and embarrassing encounter for the coeliac who only ever wants to feel seen as different. When asked why this was needed we were told the same thing over and over again by our waiter, the manager and the senior manager, that this was their process. It only came to light when we pressed them why the waiver was needed that the food provided within the gluten free afternoon tea in fact had bought in items that had may contain. To me this means that the chef ordering the advertised gluten free items is in fact knowingly ordering items that in fact are not totally gluten free. This is unacceptable and false advertisement from the Marco Pierre White chain. We will not be returning to this chain and would not recommend this chain to any coeliacs.

Afternoon tea and views were great

Unfortunate circumstances and poor service made the experience a one to forget. For back story this booking was for a proposal and was booked over a month in advance. We were stuck in gridlock traffic for over an hour and unfortunately meant we were considerably late. The restaurant cancelled our booking and couldn’t get us another table (totally understandable, while disappointing) we were forced to sit on the terrace which was actually quite nice, good view and was heated so wasn’t a bad experience honestly. We had to ask a waiter to come out to us to take our order. We ordered our mains and starters to come out together. Our starters never came out the mains did and the food was good. We asked about the starters but after waiting a few more minutes we asked for the bill. The starters then came out shortly after but we decided to leave them and left

nice place with an absolute beautiful view and me and my family are a regular here. however, today was my mothers 40th birthday and they completely ruined it. booked for 4 people at 5pm, came at the right time and keep in mind there was lots of space. they didnt even set up our table and told us to wait. we told them we wanted to cancel and started to argue with us! instead of saying sorry they decided to seat a non-reservation table who was behind us!!! absolutely ridiculous!

After reading negative reviews i was not expecting to be pleasantly suprised...friendly staff ...great food

Had the worst experience from the get go. We we're running 20 minutes late due to traffic, when we arrived our booking had been cancelled. We were then asked to wait another half an hour which we we're happy to do so. Returning to the reception we asked if we we're going to get charged on the cancellation which the girl said no, she will make a not that it wasn't our fault. We then stood there waiting while she seated other guests, she returned an asked what we were waiting for, we said our table that had been changed to a different time that we have been waiting for, she then said that we asked her to cancel this table, which I then explained that I had simply asked to make sure I wasn't getting a cancellation fee from the table that they had first cancelled. She then went on to tell another member of staff that we had asked for our table, this wasn't the case and I tried to explain again, but unfortunately wasn't getting through to the inexperienced girl they have on reception. We received no apology for them being at fault from any member of staff not even the manager. They could clearly see we were very upset as this was a special gift from someone for my partners birthday, he has never been to this restaurant and will definitely not be returning. My partner has worked in hospitality for a very long amount of years as he is head chef and has never been spoken to the way he had by an assistant manager. The way both of the staff spoke to us as customers was very degrading and rude to the point that I sat crying at the table and none of the staff acknowledged it but were able to point it out to other members of staff as when we spoke to the manager he said he was aware of this.

I think the atmosphere and the food are fantastic. Was a bit disappointed with the amount of time they took to bring out food, considering we pre ordered food. On top of that, they had to check everyone's orders over, although they had the orders printed out on everyone's seat. Other than a few hiccups in service of food, the service was great and caring. They showed a lot of attention to our dietary needs, which showed their care for their customers. Therefore, I am leaving a 5-star review despite a bit of dissapoint, because sometimes being patient brings out a better and more pleasant meal.

If you're looking to experience great food at a decent price in beautiful surroundings, look no further...... You don't need to be gourmet experienced. You just need to visit Marco's in Birmingham.

The steak was cold. Not just mine , but 3 out of 6 at our table. Chimichuri sauce was the worse I ever tried , didn’t finish it. Obviously the cold food will go for the service as they need to make sure that the food arrives on table at the right temperature. The view is nice but the music is the same as the bar , not music to dine but to laud music to dance. Definitely not value for money as is not a cheap please . I don’t think I recommend the place at all. Maybe for a drink.

I visited the restaurant for a friend’s birthday, Disappointing Experience I had high expectations for Marco Pierre Steakhouse but, unfortunately, was very let down. The service was incredibly slow—even though the restaurant wasn’t very busy, it took almost 30 minutes just to get water and place our orders. When the food finally arrived, it was lukewarm at best, and my steak was overcooked and dry despite ordering it medium-rare. Also I had a ribeye steak which was 2/3 of fat. For the price, I expected quality sides, but daphinoise potatoes where very buttery.To make matters worse, our server was inattentive and hardly checked on our table, leaving us with empty glasses for most of the meal. He seemed that he was rushed. Overall, Marco Pierre feels overpriced and overrated. There are far better places to enjoy a quality steak experience. Wouldn’t recommend it and won’t be going back. The only thing worth it was the views.

Went for our meataversary. Great night. Knowledgeable, attentive but "in the background" staff..special thanks to mohammed who knew the menu and ingredients inside out. Super atmosphere. But didn't see our hero, Marco 😔. Maybe next time.

Booked vegan afternoon tea as have an egg and dairy allergy. Was repeatedly served meat and dairy, I told them numerous times I have an allergy it’s not a lifestyle choice. Waitress didn’t seem to know that salmon and cream cheese were items I couldn’t have. Repeatedly told the clotted cream was vegan and after asking for the fifth time they actually said it wasn’t. I actually felt too scared to continue to eat. I have emailed a formal complaint three times and have yet to receive and response at all. Avoid if you have any allergies as they aren’t taken seriously

We had the set menu as part of the voucher experience. Very limited choices to choose from this menu. The butcher’s steak was very rare even though I ordered medium, it wasn’t rested and blood was running from it, it was completely inedible I literally couldn’t get my steak knife through it let alone try to chew it and digest it. The waitress was very rude slamming down the cutlery and had an abrupt manner like she just didn’t want to be there. No apologies for the quality of the service or food (needless to say we removed the discretionary service charge), such a poor experience and I will never come here again or recommend it to anyone.

Sadly the food was largely inedible. No one queried why I hadn't eaten anything or asked if it was ok. It's tatty at the moment and not the friendliest place. Good location. Nice views but not for anyone with vertigo.

Ambience was great and food was reasonably priced and delicious. Music from the bar is a tad too loud. Elina our server was amazing. She went out of the way to make sure we have a great experience and we really appreciate that!

Avil was serving us and he was fantastic, very attentive and friendly. Booked for Sunday lunch which website allowed us to do and then when we arrived was told it had finished. This is why I have given 4 stars as shouldn’t have been allowed to book this option. Food was beautiful thou and enjoyed the cocktails for cocktail weekend.

Like many people we visited to use a gift voucher, ours was for 2 courses and prosecco. Charging extra to sit near the window sets the scene for how the visit is going to go. Bit disappointed to be seated at a table with crumbs and salt on, hadn't been wiped properly since the last customer. The menu choices were quite limited but we expected that. The starters were of good quality and flavours. Included in the voucher is a small 6oz butchers steak with surcharges on Sirloin, Ribeye or Fillet. We both took the sirloin upgrade and the steak was cooked exceptionally well, although mine was on the fatty side. The chips provided were odd, several weren't really cooked inside and had the texture and coating of a frozen chip, surely a chef wouldn't put their name on a restaurant using cash and carry chips? Service was mostly good except a drinks order going missing for a while. The automatic tip added isn't just on the extras and drinks, but the value of the voucher too so is quite high. Overall the 'free/gifted' lunch cost an extra £50. Toilets are rough with broken taps and adverts on the walls like a motorway services. Hard to tell what level they're aiming at with the mixed levels of quality throughout. Overall a good experience but not the level I'd expect having dined at other chef branded venues. Without the view it's hard to see what stands out here.

Came to MPW with moderate expectations, what we got didn’t even come close. Firstly have to say it was 2/5 and not less, not because of the food and not because of the staff, it’s purely because of the views and the terrace. The whole experience was in a word Loud. We came and were seated in the restaurant but it genuinely felt like eating dinner in the middle of a club dancefloor. Who has a live DJ in a restaurant at 5:30pm in an open plan room, MPW that’s who. If we would have had warning we probably wouldn’t have booked, in the hope other days were quieter. We didn’t get a drinks menu and had to ask twice. The person serving either couldn’t hear or wasn’t listening. Food was ok not terrible not special. The bill was wrong but easily rectified though despite it being a terrible experience the service charge was still on it. I know we could have asked for it to be removed but quite frankly we wanted to leave ASAP and given we were gifted a voucher it wasn’t much to pay. The guy serving was quite abrupt but Tbf suited us because it made the experience quicker. Would we come back? Only for someone’s birthday or if they gave away free earplugs to wear during the meal; If for a birthday meal would probably bring my own.

The rooftop view is fantastic, offering a beautiful ambiance, and the staff is warm and welcoming, making for an enjoyable experience overall. However, the food could be improved to match the quality of the setting and service.

Disappointing Atmosphere, Great Food We had high expectations for our evening at Marco Pierre White Steakhouse Bar & Grill in Birmingham, as we booked the restaurant some time ago to celebrate my partner’s significant birthday. Unfortunately, from the moment we arrived, we were met with a shock: incredibly loud music blasting in the entrance area at 5 pm! We had to wait around 10 minutes to be seated, right next to the speakers, and the music was so loud that the Maître d’ could barely hear us when she finally came over. It was surprising and frustrating—why would a high-class restaurant have club-level music at 5 pm on a Saturday evening? Once we were seated, our waiter, ZaZa, struggled to communicate with us due to the volume. When we ordered drinks, my partner’s classic martini tasted anything but classic—it was overly sweet with a strange lemon syrup. Fortunately, ZaZa was incredibly friendly and switched it out without hesitation, and the replacement was spot-on. However, my bottled lager arrived without a glass, which I had to ask for from another waiter. The food, however, was a highlight. My scotch egg was perfectly cooked with a delicious mustard sauce, and my partner enjoyed her French onion soup as much as her daughter loved the baked Camembert. Our main courses were also excellent; the steaks were cooked to perfection, and we couldn’t fault the quality of the dishes. In summary, the food was great, and the service from ZaZa was excellent, but the atmosphere left a lot to be desired. The overpowering music overshadowed our celebration. The restaurant needs to decide if it wants to be a loud music club or a fine dining establishment. If it’s aiming to be a quality restaurant, the volume needs serious adjustment!

Lovely restaurant with great views of Birmingham, food and atmosphere. Great choice for my birthday. Elina provided impeccable service initially but I think she either went on break or finished her shift and service went downhill from there. The restaurant was not busy but it took half an hour for puddings to be served after clearing our plates, we had to prompt it as it felt like we had been forgotten about. Would of been 5 stars had it not been for that.

Had the Sunday lunch which I can only describe as average. Meat was lovely and tender, Yorkshire pudding fantastic, however food was luke warm and the roast potatoes came out looking like they had been dipped in a fryer for a few minutes to give a boiled potato a bit of colour. Accompanying Veg was also overcooked and disappointing. Was looking forward to experiencing a quality cooked Sunday roast especially after waiting 45 minutes for our food to be served. To finish on a positive note, the service we received was exceptional and the young lady who served our meal was friendly, attentive and professional.

Having visited this restaurant many times and found the experience great, the latest visit (15/10/24) was appalling. Lack of staff and left waiting for 15 minutes to be seated in a restaurateur that virtually empty. The food was terrible and had to be sent back and there was no apologies for management when they recognised the bad experience had by myself and overseas colleagues. The experience was terrible and not keeping of this restaurant. Very poor!

Such a wonderful place to go for a special treat. The afternoon tea was wonderful and as we used a buyagift it was very reasonable too. Too many cakes so we had a takeout which was wrapped expertly. Views are amazing and worth the little extra to sit in the window.

We travelled a long way to experience the food at Marco Pierre Whites. At a glance under low lighting you might think it is glamorous, it’s nice but quite dated, needs a revamp, tired from the heavy footfall etc. new carpets would cheer things up somewhat, amongst other changes. The starter choice was mussels, butternut squash or a plate of beetroot with crumbles of goats cheese and walnuts on. Swapping out half the plate of beetroot for salad would of helped a little, but a simple veg soup or something like a pate would of at least meant I could of found something I could eat, who wants a full plate of cold sliced beetroot ?? The draft beer also ran out before I got to order a pint meaning I was paying £11 a pint for two bottles instead, not ideal !! Mains were very nice once we upgraded to the sirloin, very nicely cooked. Overall not what I expected and would struggle to return. Staff were all in there game, well done to them, they didn’t even disturb us while clearing the table, which I found excellent. We felt with a revamp and a better choice of starters it could be as good as it probably once was, don’t be put off, the steak was very nice 👍

Excellent food, fantastic,attentive service. All spoiled by the volume of the music.....far too loud and being a deaf person who wears hearing aids, I was excluded from the conversation at my table. Take a leaf out of Wetherspoons book and do away with the moos music, you don't need it.

Went for a birthday meal. We waited 45mins for the food. I asked for medium rare steak and the steak was rare and very fatty. Onion rings not cooked enough and very doughy tasting. The atmosphere was very loud couldn't have a conversation with my husband. The toilets were not very clean.

I went to dinner for my boyfriend birthday. The place is elegant and cozy, with a beautiful view. The food was good, but unfortunately they forgot to bring the surprise dessert to sing happy birthday to my boyfriend that I had requested by email. I liked it, but it was marked by a detail that would have made all the difference.

Music was a bit loud... can't fault anything else... food was amazing.

Had organised dinner by our company. The food was amazing and quite good amount. The view from the 25th floor is definitely adding up to the experience. Staff was friendly and food was coming quick. Everything was smooth. Not sure about the prices as it was prearranged.

Had the worse meal I've had out in a long time at MPW Birmingham - with Virgin Experience Voucher basic meal was a scraggy piece of chicken and boiled spinach (for some inexplicable reason) - salad was a small bowl of chopped rocket - horrible. with the extra side orders Bill came to £49 for two people. I've had far better pub meals. Surely with your name you could do better? Yours faithfully Alistair Davies

Great value amazing load to do for families

Little or no Gluten Free options, Staff pleasant but limited knowledge of menu, particularly GF. Food was okay, venue looking tired in places.

Eight of us have just enjoyed the most delightful, exceptionally tasty meal from the '1961' Summer menu. All seven of my birthday guests thoroughly their MPW experience. It was definately a good choice of venue for my celebration. After drinks outside on the balcony we enjoyed the culinary delights that followed. We all recommend what we chose between us:- A glass of prosecco, the warm sour dough bread (the salty butter just melted into it) and the Beetroot & hens egg starter. Also thoroughly recommend the Chargrilled Chicken Supreme with a side of chips (I can not begin to describe how delightful the spinach was!) and the Butchers steak with an extra side of buttered green beans & toasted almonds (again just amazing flavours). Followed by chocolate & vanilla ice creams or Poached seasonal fruits (I have never had a dish of fruit as tasty as this, I had to spoon every last drop of the light syrup). Everything about the meal and service was superb and of course in beautiful surroundings.

WOW what a fantastic location! Amazing view from the dining area. The food was very well presented and delicious. Service was excellent and very courteous and we totally enjoyed the whole experience.

Restaurant tour this was the final stop and having a full meal helped. The steak was medium rare but was well undercooked, tough, not seasoned and couldn't digest the meat. The chips were nice.

The food was good, however not many halal options. Our waitress Elina was excellent as she wasn’t constantly coming over interrupting but she always came at the right time. She even did a little happy birthday plate for my fiancé despite me not even asking before hand. The atmosphere is amazing. 8/10 overall from us.

This spot is great for a dinner with your hubby or friends. Nice drinks. Good food and Elina was very professional, friendly, helpful

We had a full English breakfast each, cooked and presented beautifully ( I deducted a point, as my poached eggs were hard) breakfast buffet bar was well stocked, choices of fruit juices, teas and coffees. Staff attentive and polite. Very impressed, this breakfast was above average.

My step daughter brought myself and her dad a virgin experience 2 course meal with prosecco and the food was amazing I had the steak I asked for it to be cook rare and it was cooked to perfection and for pudding I had the chocolate ice cream and that was delicious the prosecco was very nice aswell the staff where brilliant didn't really have to wait long for my food would I go back again most definitely thinking about treating my bestie to the afternoon tea thank you to the staff for your services today 10 out of 10

Mediocre food and below average customer service. Me and my partner both ordered steaks, cooked as medium rare. They came out being medium well. After sending them back, the supervisor came over with the steaks and said it was the light difference that made them look like they had been cooked more, and suggested we shpuld have them back. He didn't introduce himself by name or seem apologetic. We had trued our steaks before sending them back so this was not based solely on colouring as he assumed and rather laboured the point on, but rather the texture and flavour. The blue cheese sauce had also curdled and split. Eventually, we received replacement steaks but they were nothing special in regard to taste and one was rare, as opposed to medium rare. It's a shame because this was our first visit, and after having an amazing visit to their branch in Swansea 2 years ago, we had high hopes. We were using a voucher for the lunch menu, which is very limited.

I do not recommend. I got a table literally in a flower, to sit by the window I had to pay extra £5 per person. when I did this, I was given a table near the kitchen where I could hear cuttlery banging against each other every now and then, even though only 3 tables were occupied throughout my stay. tasteless appetizer. to get a good Steak I had to pay another 15 pounds and it was ok. Additionally, the restaurant included water for 3.50 and service for 10?! A much better restaurant, I recommend it is TATU where the pleasure of the dinner itself are much better.

Walked in for a quick dinner on a Friday night. The view was stunning, the seats comfortable and the mood was nice although the music playlist that was blasting loudly was horrible, full of non copyrighted covers of pop songs on max volume. Our waiter was pleasant, however did not seem to know much about what is on the menu, or cocktail list. I asked about the specials, of which he had no clue what they were. I also asked about set meals to which he replied 'he doesn't know if they are served today'. Perhaps some more training is needed there.... We ordered two courses for £16 which was a very fair deal. However, the Mediterranean veg salad that came in was stone cold, bland and soggy. The main of steak, chips and gravy was actually not bad. The star on the plate was the peppercorn sauce - it was delicious! I did notice though that all the plates coming out of the kitchen were ALL garnished with the same micro herbs and cherry tomatoes. And I mean ALL. Felt very lax. I ordered a seasonal cocktail that was really medicinal and unpleasant. I then kindly asked for a replacement, to which they did. That was kind of them. I got a drink similar to a mojito. Average at best. All in all, good views, horrible music, uninspiring cocktails, good chips and excellent peppercorn sauce. The guest experience could be better in my opinion...

We came along to MPW with a voucher for our anniversary, while not strictly relevant to the review booking with a voucher was very tedious and long winded The restaurant itself is very nice with amazing views all round (you have to pay extra for a window table) and the quality of the service is second to none However you are reminded that you are a voucher booking and you only get the voucher menu which only has three starters (cold soup, roast vegetables and beetroot) three mains (ravioli, steak or chicken) and three desserts which I can't recall I will say you have a glass of prosecco included but this can be swapped for an alternative but the coffee is awful The meals are fine, nothing wrong with them but nothing stand out. The steak was cooked just right and the ravioli was good but the sauce was rather bland As mentioned the service was excellent and the atmosphere was also really good so while not a glowing review we are unaware of what the normal menu or food is like and we were reminded that we were in voucher table Can't really recommend, nothing really wrong with the food but nothing brilliant either so 50/50

We came here on the 31/7/24 for my wife's birthday using a red letter day voucher, 2 course meal for 2 with prosecco, we were greeted politely by a waitress who escorted us to our table and given our choice of drinks which was red, white or rose, no prosecco. We ordered our main course which was butchers steak, tomatoes and chips, it was cooked lovely and was enjoyable, then we had desserts, I had the cheese board which half way through eating it I discovered a grey hair sticking out of the chuckney, I called the waitress over to show her which she was very apologetic for and offered to get me a new cheese board which I declined, put a right dampener on the whole experience. During our meal not once did anyone come over and ask us if everything was OK with our food(except when I called the waitress over to complain about the hair). No apology off the manager or anything. We felt like 2nd class citizens because we were using a voucher instead of cash, obviously because they knew we weren't going to spend anymore money in there other than the voucher value but that wasn't necessarily true because if we'd have been treated better we would've stayed and enjoyed a bottle of wine there. They need to realise that a voucher is cash and everyone should be treated the same, we saw the waitresses going over to other tables and pouring their drinks for them but we had none of this service. We definitely won't be recommending this place to our family and friends and we won't be visiting here again ourselves.

My husband and I went for our anniversary meal. The whole experience is very nice, relaxed atmosphere and far reaching views. However, my fillet steak was undercooked. I asked for it medium and it was definitely rare. They replaced it with another which was fractionally better, but still medium rare and also quite fatty. I expressed my disappointment to our very friendly waitress and she said she would pass it on to the manager. Quite frankly I don’t think he was bothered, he looked over at the table but didn’t make any effort to speak to us. I had hoped he would at least try to make amends by a reduction in the bill or a complimentary glass of wine, but unfortunately not. You would think that a restaurant which calls itself a steakhouse would be able to cook a steak correctly. I would recommend not choosing steak to eat at the steakhouse!

Very poor food, particularly comparing to Hawksmoor which is similarly priced, and where I have eaten in the last month. The steak I had was old and gamey; a horrible flavour. I also didn't get what I ordered....which was the fillet steak special, just a plain steak and chips. It was overcooked versus what I asked for. I then had the summer pudding special; nothing like what it should be; more like a Tesco Value pudding. There was virtually no fruit, gelatinous bread, and a sickly over sweet sauce with what little fruit there was. I'm staggered Marco PW has his name against this quality of catering having remembered / dined at the incarnations from Harveys etc. If I was not with a group of friends, I would have made more fuss at the time on Sunday evening.
