Snobs Bar & Grill in Birmingham

A bit disappointed tbf, I asked for a pint of apple juice to sober up and was told “I’m not aloud to serve you pints” so you can give me a pint of lager but not soft drinks? Doesn’t make sense to me at all

You can pre book tickets online or pay at the door. The stairs going up can cause problems when you're drunk. There's 3 rooms of music and 3 bars to choose from

Our new favorite place is Tbilisi, what you accomplished is something truly special, the environment is cozy, not too big, not too small, the candles, the tables by the window, the music not too loud. Snobs is just a place where I could see myself going multiple times, either with friends to have a drink and catch up or with my partner to have a romantic evening while we try the cocktails and share some appetizers, even if you want to have a full dinner they have amazing pastas. I would highly suggest to try the cocktail Hyppolita, it was our favorite, the cocktails you see on the pictures are AI IA, Hyppolita, Green and Milk Kingdom.

Supposed to be an indie club, but isnt

This snobs is fantastic i use to go old old snobs but this snobs sports bar is exceptional the bar staff are briliant serve with ease and with no attitude and then theres the legend the manager Jules this guy was able to sort out a table for me and my group with no issues and even when we added more this guy sorted us out complete legend hats off to him and the guys and girls that looked after us for those last 4games highly recommended

The African security guard tonight denied my friend entry even though my friend had valid ID. There’s no reason for this. 0/10 - would not recommend !

I've never had a bad time or experience at snobs!! The drinks prices are standard and what you'd expect to pay at every other bar. The bar staff are really friendly and are eager to make conversation with you. The bouncers are fun and never seem to be on a power trip. If you request songs on Saturdays 9/10 your song will get played. We have been coming during the day for the euros and there's been no trouble, everyone has been in good spirits and the atmosphere has been top notch.

Been here for every England game, service has always been great and the atmosphere for every game has been quality.

Neon painting in the dark was a fun and enjoyable experience. Would definitely do it again!

Payed once and had a stamp but they tried to make me pay again after leaving and returning. Genuinely shocking, never experienced such a thing from a club. Only had about 10 people inside too…

I have been to the old Snobs and while everything was great, the new Snobs is impressive. The night had a live band who performed great. The food was amazing and the place was lively. The Estrella was crisp as well

This club is not as good as the old snobs that me and my friends went to and were recommended by my family members who went before us in the past. They are rude and didn’t let my friend get an instant refund and were not polite and were rude to my friend who was served the wrong drink. We were ignored by my other friend and we were asked twice to get their attention in order to ask for their attention. The main problem is that my friend who asked for a drink was not listened to and was charged double what she was supposed to and was left felt ignored and not understood. We will not be going back.

Went Saturday evening arrived about 11pm , it was totally dead inside at that time , so we decided to juts pop to a bar close by and return after as we had a stamp , went up to a bouncer who told us we had to queue again , so we thought just for security check again but nope when at front of the queue we were told we had to pay again and they don't allow re entry , this was not stated anywhere , what the hell is the bpoint of a stamp , no way were we all paying £8. Each again , so we left and went to Heidi's further up , ridiculous, also not good for business as that was 4 people who would have brought several drinks that they missed out on , I feel definitely need to rethink this policy as the point of a stamp is normally o allow you to return to prove u have paid.

Rude staff..very unprofessional and u sould get told you need to pay again If u re enter as I went out to make a call and was told I need pay 5pound to get bk in which is ridiculous..also the security are horrible with no manners...bad attitudes and very offensive to women I will not be revisiting this place and advise others not to worse experience ever...

The staff were great, the deals on drinks are very competitive. The food was excellent value for money.

Lost it's charm I'm afraid. Moving it to Broad Street has meant the club is full of the same clientele that Pryzm had or Rosies currently has. Went on Saturday and entry is way more than worth. £9? Ripoff. Played the same song 3 times within 90 mins. Go to Digbeth or another part of town instead.

Went on a wednesday as advertised student night and amy whinehouse. there was no amy whinehouse music and it was dead. went next door to heidi’s bar and was so much better!! go next door and don’t waste your money at snobs if your looking for wednesday nights (i can’t speak for the weekends)

The vibe was alright and wasn't too rammed, but we got a stamp on the way in, little did we know this did not mean you could re-enter so after popping out for 5 mins we were then told we had to repay to get back in and the stamps were just so people inside knew we had paid... this is rediculouse.. we were not informed of this when we entered or as they let us back out, which is normally the case when you can't re-enter places..

It was good, but I was by myself and I got kicked at the behest of the friend of a girl I was dancing with (after having a nice chat). I liked the different vibes on the different floors.

I personally didn't mind this place, it was open late and was on our way. Was shocking to hear about the spiked drink, I'm hoping this isn't a normal practice as would like to return with friends, but will be more mindfull about watching our drinks

Right hear me out, snobs is known for being iconic and all that but unfortunately me and my friend that went for the first time on Saturday and was genuinely one of the worst experiences we’ve had clubbing drinks were not cheap the whole place stunk of paint and the floor was dusty and ashy! And it states it’s a rock and roll indie place but literally heard Ed sheeran and Taylor swift Ariana grande in the room that’s meant to be (rock and roll/indie) if you’re even slightly emo/alternative I would avoid as the music is not it and it’s full of chavs that pick on you for being alternative! Really not a good place imo but go if you want but unless you want Taylor swift blasting in your ear all night go right ahead to snobs.

Man said they have 1 toilet and have to queue over 30 mins just to take a piss

I feel like they opened the new snobs too early. It’s clearly unfinished. It smelt so strongly of fresh paint I feel like I was gonna get high of the fumes xx There’s only one open toilet which is a women’s but everyone has to go in including men, this meant a 30 minute queue and a horrifically cramped toilet. AND NO CLOAKROOM🙄 but the music was good and it will probably be decent when it’s actually finished.

Please dont play loud music after 10pm as residents of surrounding buildings can’t sleep. Or at least keep your doors shut

We came to Birmingham for a weekend getaway and my girlfriend lost her ticket for the cloakroom in the club. When we informed the cloakroom attendant they told us that there was too many clothes and to come back tomorrow at opening time. When we arrived at opening we was greeted by a lovely gentleman called Nathan who looked multiple times in the cloakroom to find the jacket without the ticket. He came back and forth and showed us if any of the jackets was ours. We thank Nathan for his help I hope management sees this.

Stopped in for a couple of Beers in December 2023. Bar staff were super friendly and really quick to serve. Comfy booths and clean.

Shame about the bad reviews. Worse than anything i had in my youth at old venue.. that said here comes a story When much younger i was out with friends. They suddenly went to the other side of club. I gave up my place in the queue. Did i knock over a watered down drink? Did i accidently elbow a sensitive body area? Did me coming near an entitled couple justify the man shoving me 4 feet across the room without warning? I turn to see the lovely couple and they seemed in good nick.. the only pain being their expressions. I never got the snobs hype but this place was ok in more recent times as i didnt have to feel claustrophobic

I came to this place and the music was good. But as soon as I went outside to get a taxi. Me and my friend got punched in the face outside. I would definitely avoid this place at all costs.

bouncers took my real id off me this will cost be another £20 - i am a student i showed my instagram and apple id and they would not have any of it - rude obnoxious bouncers will not be returning to snobs again

Great give me and my friends had a good time partying it’s cheap and good value for drinks we enjoyed partying on all the floors, staff are all lovely and cheerful

Nice vibe, drinks abit pricey. Cool and different to regular clubs, seating is helpful lol. Annoying how you can’t come back in once out though. Good location.

They stand by thei'r name snobbs !!! As they dont even respond to job applications even though im over qualified for the chef position !!! Snobbs !!! My full application name is gabriel mayor fernandez i applied on indeed but will not apply again as this is the 3rd time

Very fun night out. great music on bottom floor. only issue is a transgender person in the toilet tried watching me use the urinal

Stunning range of VK flavours but drink selection doesn't go much further. If you want to be groped by University of Birmingham Post-Grads to the sound of ABBA I highly recommend the bottom floor. If not, don't bother.

Class place. Definitely a nitty gritty kind of vibe but you're guaranteed a good night if you go there to just have fun and dance and meet new people ! Would call it a don't take yourself too seriously kind of place which I love! Drinks are fairly priced as well and tickets aren't extortionate. I've only gone to the nightclub part of it but definitely a favourite in the area. Never a dull moment !!

Popped in for a drink and the barman tried to give me a pint that had already been pulled 5 minutes before hand. He even admitted to the pint being pulled for another group that was in the pub.

Daughter was physically assaulted by the bouncer who pushed her to the ground leaving a bruise on her chest all because he wanted the crowd to move back but as usual the club was so overcrowded there was no room to move so he thought it was okay to shove her! Despite emailing the management twice I have not received the courtesy of a response. Several people have messaged my daughter asking if she was okay and expressed disgust at the bouncers actions. Never any excuse for physical assault especially by a supposed ‘safe person’ in the club. There was also id checks or any form of track n trace, we now know of at least 6 people who have tested positive since their visit. Not a good image of the club at all!

Not the same as the sadly lost original Snobs, but a really nice place to catch up with friends.

Very disappointed with the rudeness of the staff. Watching football with a friend but felt both management and staff were extremely hostile from start to finish. Despite causing no problems felt like the staff didn't want us there. 100% won't be coming back covid or no covid

I have been going here for many years and I do love it here. Their drink choices are amazing and not bad price. Very lovely and helpful staff

Me fui para el fin de semana porque mi compañero estaba trabajando aquí, así que visité a Snobs para ver fútbol, regresé al día siguiente para desayunar y tomar otra copa. Nice to be able to have an all day breakfast option. Food was good and the music selection was entertaining. Service from Bogdan and Thomas was excellent, very friendly and attentive customer service.

Toilets are grotesque! Beer palatable. Football on good as long as you can hold out for the toilet for 90 mins.

Me encontré un asiento y pronto me pidieron que pidiera una bebida a la que respondí que lo haría "pronto" (ya que estaba lleno de mi comida). 10 minutos más tarde. . . . . ¡Me dijeron que me fuera ya que no había pedido una bebida! La camarera era grosera y completamente irracional! Le ofrecí tomar una copa y ella me dijo que debía irme. ¡Nunca he experimentado un servicio al cliente tan TERRIBLE! ¡Evite este lugar a toda costa! El servicio realmente apesta!

Used to come to watch all the football matches until one Saturday around 4.30pm been almost let in by security until one of them decided that trainers not allowed( even told we won’t be allowed anywhere as it’s Saturday)We were not going to clubbing or for night out as it’s 4.30pm , but simply to watch the match. Done many times before with no issues , but for some reason this time we been to poor looking for this establishment. Never again we will visit this place , there is other sports bar just around the corner with much better screens and staff.

Door staff un reasonable, was chucked out for enjoying a song they played and fizzing some drinks, explained I wasn’t drunk, apologised for fizzing drinks over my friends even though it wasn’t really a problem. Wont be coming back, well done for for the hard work from the bar team, and sorry that was the resolve with the door crew

Llamamos para almorzar antes de ir a una matiné en el Hipódromo, nuestro servidor era Bogdan (espero haberlo escrito correctamente) fue muy amable, educado y servicial. Elegimos el mini fish & chips del menú de especialidades, las comidas estaban muy bien presentó encantador pescado blanco escamoso, papas fritas y guisantes de jardín servidos con salsa tartare. Con un precio extremadamente razonable, fue una comida agradable y sirven una muy buena taza de té.

Visited on Saturday afternoon before going to the o2 academy. Decent prices for the middle of a City. Had the cajun chicken nachos whilst watching the football. Generous on the toppings and very tasty.

Before heading back to London after the T20 finals we wanted a sports bar to watch the England rugby and Snobs worked really well. Good Guinness and big screens and lots of seats. Friendly staff. All you need.

Not as good as the old snobs "obviously" but still a cracking night out ✌️😁 I still feel the oldest in there but that doesn't put me off ha, it feels like when your in year 11 at school and the year 7's turn up for there first day and your like how small are you? Lol The lack of chavs makes me smile 🤙 That's what ruined DV8 back in the day

Relax and enjoy this bar, with good and reasonable prices. They don't serve you at the table, but OK. Food 🍲 is good, not great still it's a pub not a restaurant.

Went as it was a blast from the past. The new snobs doesn't have the feel of the old. It seems to have lost something in its newer location. Music is the same pretty much, but gone are the 50p shots and pound bottled beer. It's a shame as the name Snobs makes me remember an awesome time.

Called in on our way to Hippodrome Theatre for a quick lunch, lovely friendly staff, clean well kept seating/table areas, tasty reasonably priced food and drinks which were served very quickly. Will return again soon.

Came here for the Wednesday Christmas all-nighter and was not impressed. Club is too small. The club should have been a lot darker DJs aren’t great- songs are played for too long, some songs were just cut off and so the transition between songs was pretty poor sometimes. Ridiculously hot and sweaty, not sure why they can’t invest in some air conditioning. Floor was littered with broken glass, cups, drinks etc. The event was completely over subscribed so much so that they had to stop people moving between floors. Certainly won’t be coming here for NYE which I imagine will feature many of the same problems. Clubs like Pryzm and Rosie’s are much better choices for a night out in Birmingham.

He estado en algunas ocasiones para tomar una copa y ver fútbol y la otra parte de Snobs para las noches de club.Estuvimos en la hora del almuerzo del lunes para algunas bebidas y el almuerzo y fue genial. Lugar limpio, personal rápido y agradable. Buen lugar para ver deportes y decente menú de comida / bebida.Nuestro grupo tenía nachos, hamburguesa y hamburguesa de frijoles y todos eran geniales - precio razonable también!

Good atmosphere, great prices. Only problem is unless you go to an event night it does feel like you're listening to the same Spotify "indie" playlist everytime that you go.

Had some time to kill in Birmingham and I decided to pop in, grab a drink and watch some football. Cannot complain about anything regarding my experience. I will be back for another drink

I have eaten here quite a few times, the new menu was a little different but the three of us looked forward to our choices - chilli con carne - scampi - chicken reggae reggae wrap. The staff here are so friendly the bar is comfy and the food very good value for money.

Love how when a girl throws a drink away it’s disruptive. Saw a guy pour a drug into my drink but throwing that is disruptive. Love that snobs supports women getting taken advantage of.

Friendly place go there to watch the sports on tv. Food is fine but fast food quality. Bitter very disappointing as only have one but range of other beers. It's not a place to spend the evening but good for a sports bar.
