Great place and staff fantastic food good too best mixed grill going sadly I could eat everything as was in a rush but really good value

Visited here with my wife for breakfast, had the Full English Breakfast and it was very nice, quick service and reasonable price, would come again if in the area 👍

We went in for a quick drink before our meal, IDs checked by security guards etc. my partner went to order a pint of Guinness along with drinks for the others part of our group. Straight away the bar staff was rude, refusing service, despite us not being rude or this being our first drink. Another person in our party tried to order a lemonade the gentleman behind the bar was still refusing service. Of course I would understand if we were stumbling in and clearly intoxicated, however this would have been our first drink before our meal, and the gentleman behind the bar was hostile from the moment we stepped in, to the point that the gentleman standing next to us was laughing due to the ridiculousness of the situation. I have been here many times and it is a shame as I will not be returning.

I went in with a group to get a quick drink before a meal out. The Main bar staff refused to serve me and my friends a drink as i was apparently “too drunk”, although this would have been my first drink of the night, after i tried explaining that i have had nothing previously, he became hostile and said that none my party would be served, not even a lemonade. this is a shame as i have been to this establishment several times and had a lovely time, but this time was ridiculous. i will not be returning unfortunately due to the poor customer service.

Love this place. Chris and his team have done an amazing job turning this business around.. and the food is pure lush

We go to The Brasshouse every time we go to Birmingham but on this occasion the Sunday lunch was not up to usual standard. Meat very tough, vegetables virtually raw and cauliflower cheese extra tasteless mush. Very disappointed as we always make The Brasshouse a priority place to visit at least once on a weekend visit to Birmingham.

What a find just down the road from our hotel on Broad Street. Navigating the pavements with a wheelchair is always a challenge however the staff opened the doors for me with such a welcome. Food was lovely as was the wine and service exceptional. The band was an added bonus. Thank you for making today special.

Booked for a pre show meal. Arrived to a clean pub. Well stocked with good beers. Nicely decorated for chrimbo. Ordered the chippy tea, lovely! Good portion size. Well cooked. For a pub meal, spot on!

Cozy place. Pub/brasserie.. serves well-made breakfasts and dishes. Various choice of beers, friendly staff, clean bathrooms. Prices high but in line with the rest of GB. Advised. Visited with family (children in tow)

The food is worth the the wait and tastes good. The service is quick. Great value for money and serviced with decent portions. The staff are friendly and when the atmosphere is quiet, it can be quite relaxing especially after a day out. It's also a nice atmosphere when there are quite a few customers are around. On the opposite side of The Brasshouse restaurant there are different evening entertainment

Had vodka and coke and amaretto and coke tasted very watered down “manager” said tasted fine Would not recommend “manager” with long hair

Myself and a friend popped in for something to eat. We both had the Sunday roast. The food was lovely. I myself have worked in the public house sector sector and know first hand how hard the staff especially the chefs work. We would of like to of tipped the chef that prepared our food but weren't sure if it was aloud or if they would of reseved it. Could you clarify this for us please so we know for future reference. Apart from this we had a lovely day. And well definitely be coming back

The Brasshouse was a short walk from our hotel, but looked very inviting. What a fabulous find! Staff were very welcoming, friendly and efficient. Wide choice of drinks, beers on draught and food was honest ‘pub grub’ fayre. My wife was GF and the chap taking my order was careful to annotate this on the order to the kitchen. Our food was hot, tasty and plenty of it! Cannot recommend The Brasshouse highly enough. There seems to be a growing number of bars and restaurants all over the city centre in Birmingham, but for a decent pint, honest grub and reasonable prices, you’d be hard pressed to find a better place to have dinner! Food was hot and tasty and reasonably priced. The chips were crispy on the outside, fluffy in the middle and piping hot.

The worst Sunday lunch we've ever had in fact inedible complained to management who wernt interested

This is a pub that does food, and it does that well. It's not trying to be a restaurant and it's not a place full of heavy drinkers. The menu was was limited but what they did was well cooked and well presented. The staff were polite, efficient and friendly and the place was clean. Quick meet up for something to eat after work and for that it is perfect.

We only took coffee here but the atmosphere was good and the food looked good. In a lively part of B'ham. The tram runs right by and is useful for commuting around the city and Jewellery Quarter.

Located by the canals on a busy Broad Street. The Brasshouse is an old-fashioned building which brings a unique vibe once you enter. Tried their English breakfast as well as their sunday roast, nothing special, but above average. Overall, a great place to get a pint, breakfast or the sunday roast

We received friendly and welcoming service here. In Particular one of the staff Vicky was helpful and pointed out offers on the menu. Will go back again

Great place to watch sports on your own or with a group. Later in the evening, there are DJ and Karaoke nights, too. Good atmosphere, very lovely staff and foods pretty good too. One of the better option on Broad St all road.

Warm cosy and lots of great atmosphere

Food was mediocre not one I would recommend to anybody for food, service from the staff was good and ordering from the app. Worked well but all in all not one I would rush back to on broad Street.

very poor quality all the dishes very bad we ordered beef chilli topper Doritos they served with only doritos with sauce and jakapenos there is no beef in it not worth for 8£ also there no taste of beef in it , when we asked the stuff she not replied properly. I strongly not recommend this place

Absolute joke of a place!! Travelled all the way from south wales to see the Peter Kay gig! Ordered food at 5:45 at 19:10 still no sign of food even though we had been back to the bar three times and every time they said it would be 10 minutes! Abysmal service! The staff were rude and careless! And it wasn’t even busy!! Absolutely shambles!! Would not recommend!!

Ordered 3 course meal for me and my partner the main came out first so had to wait more for the starter,then another half hour for the main to come out and then the desert was a joke the young girl came and asked us if wanted it we said yes half hour went by and nothing we had to leave because we was going to a show told the girl and all she said was oh ok absolutely shocking service

Flat pint also i had mixed grill and EVERYTHING apart from the egg was cold, same with the wife's gammon and chips. I think they forgot where the food was going as took a while but everything was room temp at best. Egg was hot though so they probably did fresh eggs but forgot about everything else. Used to be good and have used before, I doubt I will use again after this visit

Went in to watch the football and ordered food on the strength of the bar staff saying it would be on. They clearly had no interest in putting it on. So I ate some of my mediocre food and went to Walkabout to watch the game.

Did you not want to be popular anymore? I don't know why you changed things. Oh well, good luck with the new set up

I've popped in this pub quiet often over the years and it's never disappointed. The staff are always friendly and welcoming. The ale is first class. Great for watching sports. Highly recommended

This has been recently refurbished and we thought it had lost a lot of the atmosphere all the nice staff had gone and the menu was more expensive 😕

It's an old drinking place full of many happy memories Right on the edge of all the Broadstreet Nightlife on the cut That's canal in barge terms People noisy and happy and no idiots when I was there in the afternoon chatting up the beautiful wildlife lol

Great place to watch sports, kickback and relax. Chicken wings highly recommend but the mash potato was a let down as it was solid and I lifted it out of the bowl as one solid lump.

We were there for my friends birthday and we had a fantastic time.

Came to see some live music and grab some food. Band were really good and took time to involve the crowd, staff were friendly and we got served quickly even though it was quite busy. I ordered mac and cheese and it was THE CHEESIEST I've ever had !! Tasted amazing, served with garlic bread to soak up any remaining sauce and salad. Loads of drinks options. Clean bathrooms and easy access to buses and trams.

A hearty place that does decent drinks. I didn't have food there but they had on tap cocktails (the strawberry daquiri was strong) and with a bogof deal not bad. The staff that served me was really nice understandable and gave good vibes sat 29th June. Music was good playing 80s 90s soul motown R&B. Free entry. Nice social place to bring friends and bogie past midnight.

Brilliant pub, great atmosphere & fantastic service

I picked this place simply because it was the first restaurant near me to open in the morning, but I had read some reviews and thought it sounded good. I ordered the full breakfast which was only £8.99 and it was very tasty! (I did substitute the mushrooms for more beans since I’m not a mushroom fan.) It was very quiet when I went - I’m pretty sure I was the first customer of the day, but it was nice and clean and the service was great. The only qualm I have about the service, isn’t about the staff, it’s just that there was a QR code I didn’t notice (because it was so small) at the top of the menu so you could order and pay directly from an app, however I was able to just place my order with a staff member. I did however sit there awkwardly waiting for someone to take my order, until I noticed the QR code, but that’s more my incompetence. I don’t know what I was expecting for the washroom, but I was very pleasantly surprised. It appeared newly renovated/decorated and was clean. I’m glad I was able to find this gem!

Don’t advertise and promote the euros when you don’t put the volume on, And £7.20 a pint is expensive. Disappointing.

I visited The Brasshouse with my girlfriend, and unfortunately, our experience was marred by the inappropriate behavior of the staff. Despite clearly knowing our names, the manager repeatedly addressed us with incorrect and inappropriate names, making us feel uncomfortable and disrespected. As an Asian couple, this experience was particularly disheartening. I urge other Asians to reconsider visiting this bar due to their lack of respect and sensitivity towards our community.

What a refreshing change to the oh so common Spoons chain. Proper pub, Proper pint. Great selection of beers. Small bar area but full of atmosphere

Nice pub in good location. Bar staff should pay more attention to customers as there was 5 people waiting at one point and the first one waiting was served last. Food was good and very reasonable priced.

Staff were rude, asked for 3 different foods...all out of stock... then went to use disabled toilet with wheelchair user... its just a normal cubicle with bars! No good for anyone disablesld, cant even fit a wheelchair in the toilet! Disgusting!!

Its been a while since I have been here. Visited on Bank Holiday Monday - the drinks were pricier than I thought. I had the Gammon and my wife had the veggie burger which came with a free drink. I was disappointed with the food, gammon was dry, onion rings and fries were overcooked to the point that u could not chew them. The veggie burger was very tough could barely bite into it and we realised afterwards that we hadnt been asked about the free drink when we ordered it. The atmosphere was good but we won't be eating here again as it was definitely not value for money.
