Great homely atmosphere with friendly service. The food is excellent for a food style restruant would recommend it to all my friends. The burgers are juicy and full of flavour and the fries are always crispy can't fault it. Drinks perfectly priced and sweet. Would recommend to everyone.

Fantastic pub, fantastic atmosphere and fantastic food. We come here regularly for food and drinks, the land lady is lovely and dog friendly too.

We've been a few times and now think it's fair to leave a review - the food is poor quality, especially the steaks. They're always grissley and the chef can never never manage to cook them correctly. He/she generally undercooks them... A lack of food on your plate and it never reflects what you see on the menu's photos. Very sparce portions. Not worth the money paid. This is a perfect place as a small pub for very blokey men, though. They play football games on their TVs, which would appeal to a lot of pug goers, I imagine. Not a family-friendly place, unfortunately, although kids are allowed in here. There are nicer places to eat in Boldmere, which don't cost too much more. I'd recommend others to go to one of those restaurants instead of here, unless this place was your only option.

The Manager is so nice and she always makes sure I'm fed properly, even with my food allergy. The pub always looks great and the staff and the food are always nice.

Serive was great and much improved from the last time we visited. Tvs with all the sport on. Live music which was a great suprise

After boking at The Horse and Jockey for a family meal on Boxing Day, and them telling us that they hadn't got our pre order ( although it was dropped off on person ) . So they we're unable to accommodate us. We contacted The Sutton Park Hotel who were able to accommodate us , at short notice . Food and Customer Service were impeccable. The Sutton Park Absolutely saved the day. We were able to treat out parents as we had promised. Thankyou so much to all the staff.

Average food to be honest to be topped off that not one of the 4 family members I was with knew we had to pay for parking so got sent a bill for a 100 pounds when we thought what we had paid for the food was taking the mickey

I can’t rate this pub enough!! Chelsea, Charlotte and Sharon were fabulous and so accommodating. The fish is beautifully cooked!! Deserves more than 5 stars

We booked a table for 3 people to eat and drink, we had the best experience ever! The food was amazing and we didn’t have to wait long for it to arrive.. we were really looked after by all of the staff everyone was so friendly and welcoming and they made us feel so welcome. I honestly can’t wait to return again. Thank you so much for the opportunity to experience your establishment!

My visit was on early Sat eve when an England soccer match was on. Busy but fast service. Pub is one of "Sizzling pub" chain with standard drink and food menu. There is a crown green bowling club affiliated.

Always a great meal speedy service and good quity food. Good coice despite heading forca 3 week refurb and running down stock. Always value for money and nice and chilled

Great staff... Chelsea was an excellent host as I completed my work... The Sutton Park is a large family eatery with ample free carparking but you must put your registration in on the machine. Photos show this is a bright, clean and inviting place to come and enjoy the food and sports on multiple large screens... Great outside space for the warmer weather. 😎

Have to highly commend the staff in putting right a wrong, Charlotte could not do enough for my friend and I when we visited for a meal and drinks. Checked on us constantly and made friendly conversation, another colleague Louise was just as helpful & friendly throughout. Meal was lovely, well cooked, not a long wait and a good size. Worth recommending, thank you.

This is our local and I couldn't fault the staff, the food or the service. All team members are so friendly, they chat to our child and love the dog. Always go out of their way to chat to everyone. Would highly recommend!

The staff and manager at the Sutton Park are very welcoming and it’s obvious that the staff are well trained and enjoy their jobs. The bar is kept clean and there is always quick service no matter how busy they are. Food as always was amazing value for money. I would highly recommend popping in if you are ever in Boldmere. George and Charlotte thank you for going the extra mile and making the evening enjoyable

Beautiful food great atmosphere if if your on your own

Overall not really got problem with the venue or manager. But lately getting alot attitude towards me from afew staff. Don't really care who likes dislike me but is wat it is.. sadly wen told u barred. After supporting venue over the yrs ok. 😥

8 of us Visited on a busy Sunday lunchtime and food was excellent value. All meals came out at the same time,piping hot on nicely warmed plates. Good range of beers and spirits, with sky TV discreetly placed so as not to be a distraction.

Had a lovely meal, fish was beautiful, staff were amazing especially Daniel he went out of his way to make sure everything was ok. Will definitely be returning to this lovely pub very soon.

Recently visited with friends for lunch. Lovely atmosphere. Ordered food served by Jack. Very professional checked if we had any dietary/allergy requirements, really friendly and chatty. Service to our table was great food piping hot, checked if we had everything we needed. Really impressed with the service. We will all be back again soon. Well done amazing team.

Came for lunch with my little boy and the service was amazing, lunch was lovely as always! The food is always served hot and how I’ve asked for it. I go to the Sutton park hotel often for food and it’s just such a lovely friendly atmosphere, the bar staff are friendly and offer great service every time, very accommodating for children too which is a plus! Can’t wait for next time!

We pre booked for a party of 28 on Sunday afternoon. Charlotte who looked after us was absolutely amazing she couldn't do enough for us. All the staff were polite and friendly. Couldn't recommend this pub enough. Food is great too we are regular users of pub. Nikki has really improved this pub since taking over. Thank you for helping me celebrate my 50th birthday. X

From start to finish, the staff were very friendly and helpful, nothing was too much for them to deal with. Very dog friendly, with lots of dogs in the venue (fantastic to see). Very family oriented, children were engaged with by the staff, they were spoken too, given colouring activities. For was fabulous, very hot and tasteful, cutlery provided specifically with children in mind. I have nothing that I think could improve the visit.

Lovely traditional pub. Staff are awesome. We’ve been in a few times with a fussy toddler and they’re so lovely. He had a fall off his chair and one of the staff members put extra chocolate buttons and flakes on his ice cream to “cheer him up” and they asked us twice is he was feeling better now (he was absolutely fine after, just a clumsy toddler) and the one bloke kept playing with him/getting him to put his thumbs up to say he was good :) they’re lovely staff and lovely food. So much better than most sizzlers we’ve been to! Always bang on. Reccomend!

Just popped in as we were driving past had a really nice meal, friendly staff and good service.

Booked table 6pm was clean and ready for us but pub was rammed and incredibly noisy with children running around. Sorry we had to leave. It was Saturday so probably not a good night to have a meal and chat.

Bar staff pleasant but food not so good ordered 2 all day breakfast and chicken sizzler. Breakfast -sausages ,toasted clabatton came out burnt tomato not cooked it was hard and mushroom cold. As for chicken sizzler, top of chicken burnt

My parents-in-law had lunch here today and left very disappointed. They had fish and chips which was acceptable but also had the chicken and chorizo skewers which were so overcooked that they were black and stuck to the skillet. My Mother in law spoke to the girl at the bar and she said that it happens because they have to keep the skillet so hot. No apology, just asked if they wanted to order some dessert! It's a shame because they are local and love to eat out in Boldmere. They were very impressed by how the pub has been done up but said they really felt let down by their meal.

The small plate fish and chips were the perfect size and really hot throughout the meal which I particularly enjoyed. Aid was so attentive checking in and served drinks to our table, amazing visit can’t wait to come back.

We eat here regularly because the food is always good and the staff are very helpful ( especially as our mum has to use two crutches to walk). Always good value for money. Mum has even started going on her own now because she knows she will be well looked after. When my children were younger this became the pub to always go for special occasions. Can’t recommend the place highly enough if you want a decent lunch and to be helped by friendly, considerate staff 👍

Service was fine but the quality of the meal was not so hot. I had the 10 oz steak which was quite grissly and not very warm, overall the size of the meal was rather small with a tiny bowl of over cooked chips. and some small button mushrooms on a bed of fried onion.with a few garden peas. The meal was on offer with 40 per cent discount so i did not complain but glad i did not pay full price. My sons meal was better he had the large mixed grill which he said he enjoyed.

Living in Coventry always go for Breakfast either at the Wallace or the Counden Hotel every Saturday but thought for a change would take my motorbike out for a ride over here. As soon as I walked in the first impression I got was that the place needed a dam good clean especially behind the bar, I ordered the full works bab and asked if they did the top up coffee like they do at the Wallace and the Counden in Coventry, was told they don’t and the ones in Coventry should not be doing that. The coffee was brought over to me was cold and weak, don’t think there was any coffee in it, the bab arrived sausage was burnt, hardly any bacon very disappointed visit won’t be taking a trip over here again.

First visit last night after the refurbishment. Food and service was exceptional. Really lovely friendly atmosphere. Well done to Charlotte who was so helpful and very accommodating. Will certainly be returning soon!
