A decent public house, roomy with a nice outside area. I didn't eat, so cannot comment on the cuisine. As I was riding my scooter I only had soft drinks. The atmosphere was friendly. A karaoke was on as it was a bank holiday.

We spent £45 between the three of us, each with a meal and a drink. The staff were pleasant enough, but the food was absolutely awful both in taste and quantity. All of us left feeling completely robbed and had to go elsewhere for food afterwards as we were all still hungry, one of us had a microwaved lasagne that had a wilted salad and no garlic on the garlic bread, so just bread. I had some " fried tacos" that were effectively two spring rolls, alongside some flavourless microwaved packet rice. Definitely won't be returning, looked like the place hadn't been cleaned in years

Haven't actually beennin there we went there for the fireworks show and had an amazing time!!

Went to a 60th birthday bash in the function room. The pub arranged it by putting on a finger buffet decorations & supplying the DJ all for a very reasonable price. We had an absolutely fantastic night & the staff were polite & friendly. Definitely recommend for that special occasion.

I came for for about an hour late at night and got a few drinks, seems to be a nice place to bring a small group of friends. And they have darts there so that's always a plus

The Raven is a good old fashioned working class public house, I know most of the people who frequents this establishment and I always comfortable here because the patrons are down to earth unpretentious salt of the earth folk who I have grown up with. It is one of four public houses that I use in the Birmingham 8/34//36 postcodes.

We had a wake in the function room here - would highly recommend. Staff all very helpful, supportive and efficient. Particular thanks to Charli for all her help.

Good atmosphere and very friendly staff

Gig house gives false impression of what's inside. On Sunday evening almost all tables was occupied by regulars. There is separate entry for private party/tables (not sure if that space is used for not private events). Fast service.

Not been here is some twenty years and was a regular from the late nineties. Wow what a difference two decades make. Good to know that trac is still there. Will deffo swing by again when am in the area.

I was visiting and came into the pub for dinner, it was a great experience mainly thanks to Grant, who helped me decide what to order, and just made me feel at home, I ended up going with the steak thanks to his recommendation and I couldn't be more happy with how it came out he was a phenomenal cook and really took the time to make sure it was how I liked it, extremely friendly and professional.

Me and my family came for a meal here last week and the food was brilliant! There was alot of us and food came out hot and quick and cooked to perfection by the lovely chef Grant who went out of his way for us to ensure we were all happy! Great management and lovely family environment Also a great night on a Thursday for bingo!

Went back to The Raven tonight for a meal (with the Wife) Grant was our chef for the evening and the service was 100% so attentive and helpful, the meals(a rump steak & a gammon steak) were cooked to perfection 👌 a Big Thank You from Dave & Jan, ps, see you again soon

Visited this pub wanting a nice atmosphere and a good meal. Ordered a kids' meal, a chicken curry, and two of the classic hunters chickens. Food came after about 10 minutes' wait and was reasonable quick for the food prepared. Once received, the naan bread was as solid as a bullet, and we asked for another one, even though we hate to complain. The hunters chickens were dry and unflavoured, and the kids' meal was a joke. The pizza looks like something you wouldn't even give to the homeless. After such a bad food experience, we will not be visiting again, and if you are reading this, I would recommend you visit somewhere else, such as the Tyburn.

Lovely meal. Good service. Would recomend to everyone. I've been for many meals at the raven.and I will be going again.

Description says warm friendly welcome and beer garden great for dogs. Lies. We just went to sit in the garden with our small, well behaved dog and were then subjected to the 'warm friendly welcome' by a very rude, brusque woman stating that dogs aren't allowed on the premises. We went there because of their description of being dog friendly. We were made to leave. Couple on next table were disgusted too and told us never to go back...we certainly wont

Been here before and sat in the garden with our very well behaved dog, who lay quietly under the table..no problem. Went today and sat in the garden and were told to go as dogs are now not even allowed in the garden. Behind the times I think. Won't go again. Clever managers know that there is money in dog friendly establishments...obviously not in this case. Avoid...

“Warm welcoming pub, with a fantastic dog friendly beer garden”…. I don’t think so…!!! We went into the garden with our small well behaved dog (that usually lies under the table..), only to be told by a rude woman that dogs were not allowed on the premises..!!! This pub is a friendly welcoming pub, but the brewery need to prioritise their funds. They have built a lovely wooden gazebo, but are missing the little things such as soap and toilet roll holder in the gents, broken speakers and missing amp in the function room. I can’t praise the efforts of the managers and staff enough. I look forward to the changes required.

It’s hard to come by a real family friendly pub with a decent beer garden for the kids to run around whilst also catering for people without kids…. A proper community pub not many of these left now keep up the good work all the staff.

Been to the Raven for a quick pint and a meal, staff great as usual the new menu looks appetising. I had the Cod & Chips with mushy peas . Absolutely gorgeous decor, the refurb has done wonders for the atmosphere. Lovely beer garden and enquired about renting the function room as this would be great for summer. Bar staff are very friendly, great with kids too. Can't wait to go back!

Love this place, great hospitality and great food and looks amazing after the refurb. The staff in particular, Katy, Nikky, Sam, Charlotte and Charlie are always so welcoming.

All I can say is just above average!!! Lounge a little too small for an open mic evening!!!

Have always enjoyed going here. Foods lovely staff are polite. Wheelchair accessible. Great outdoor space for seating and kids to play. There's also a function room that I've only just got to know. Good size and bar.

It's a nice easy going pub to relax with a friend or two. The garden is is a great place to sit on a nice day, especially as the seats and tables are spaced out, which is important to help with social distancing. Besides all this I fancy the barmaid!.

Following a recent review which raised concerns from a loyal customer. The issue remains to continue So what i feel the need to say is Why do customers bother writing reviews Because our concerns Obviously DO NOT MATTER. CUSTOMER CARE OBVIOUSLY DOES NOT EXIST.

Absolutely horrendous. Certain female blonde member of Staff are obviously allowed to treat paying customers with pure disrespect. With a unprofessional disgusting attitude. In regards to pouring my drink. She feels it is acceptable to verbally shout Thats how you get it Tough !!! I enjoy this pub, it is friendly and welcoming, it serves food and children are welcome. It has a large outdoor area, great for children and a crown green bowling club.

Great family pub - food is pretty good, though not perfect - good garden with children's play area - even has a bowling green - BT Sport's and events some nights (see photos).

Played a gig here , everyone is so friendly .Superb atmosphere.

Bit of a scary pub this one, luckily I was wearing a gum shield, I sat in the corner and avoided eye contact with the locals. The views of the area are superb and great to watch the sunset over Shard End, maybe splash out nine quid on a burger for those gourmet people. I probably won't visit again. It's very popular with people on day release and has it's own dartboard, which is quite risky.

Bar qui ne paye pas de mine vue de l'extérieur mais avec une très bonne ambiance à l'intérieur. Déco et mobilier un peu ancienne. Musique, match, serveur qui chantent et dansent. Bar agréable 😁
