Amazing service from staff very polite food comes out hot and always lovely. Absolutely love coming here for food or drinks.

We called in for a quick tea. It was very busy but we were told if we wanted a table it would be about a 10 minute wait, so we got a drink and sat outside, by the time we had sat down they came to get us. We ordered a mixed grill and a salmon, both were hot and tasty. My husband likes his steak rare and it was cooked perfectly. The staff were very busy but always cheerful. We come often and this is the reason why.

Nice place, nice staff, nice food, nice prices. Only downer was their app/site. One of our orders didn't show up and we have to let the bar know after 50 minutes. Their system struggled with QR codes from the app, and another order came out wrong from what was ordered

As I walked me and my family were greeted by the rudest concierge I have ever encountered in my life (the bald gentleman) who without greeting us exclaimed that he had no tables for my family and wasn't going to join tables and we didn't want this anyways I mind you all of this was assumed by him again in a tone as if he didn't even want us here. Overall if you have a front of house maybe they should be a bit more polite to PAYING patrons. Maybe try a hello next time mate

Great afternoon meal and drinks outside in the nice weather, great friendly staff.

Came to celebrate both my and my best friends 60th birthday with our 2 sisters. It was a great afternoon, a warm welcome, great food and good company, thoroughly enjoyed our visit Staff are always brilliant whenever we visit. Thank you.

Our first time in this pub, lovely food but the service was next level, we were served by a lovely lady called Lynne, she was so accommodating and caring as we had a disabled girl with us, she really made an effort and made sure everything was good. Thankyou for your kindness, we will definitely be back

We were staying close by and saw this pub which we decided to try. I booked a table for 6 as I wasn’t sure if they would be busy as it was the bank holiday weekend. The prices are so cheap for the food and drinks you get! We had 6 large food orders and 6 drinks (mostly alcohol) and paid around £110 which was brilliant. The food was lovely and so much choice I struggle to choose what to have! Food was fresh and tasty. Staff all friendly and we ordered more drinks afterwards too. Would highly recommend if you are staying around this area!

Don’t rely on this food pub if you want food. They randomly stop serving when they feel like it. Tried to order meals at 7 PM on a Tuesday and they told us they were not taking any more orders for the night. Pub was half empty. Really gone downhill over the years. Don’t forget to enter your registration plate number if you want to park your car on the car park.

Always love going here, it's cheap food but done well. The service is always quick and attentive. The Guinness is also always on point. Well done to all the staff there!

New menu very misleading, leading to paying more than we wished, Garlic bread starter way overpriced, fish overcooked and dry, normally very good but disappointed last night.

Food was decent and came out quite quickly. Good pint of Guinness. Complete lack of Spacemen tho 🤣

Alcohol free wine not available here ,disappointing.

Just had food for the first time here, the staff were really friendly. We were asked if everything was ok with the meal which is a novelty these days. Will definitely be coming back, thank you 😃

This is the first time I’ve been to this pub and it certainly won’t be the last. The food was great, seven of us in our party for Father’s Day and everyone of us really enjoyed our food. I must mention the staff too, they were really nice, so friendly and welcoming and nothing was too much trouble. I think they deserve a raise 😊 Thank you for making our day special.

Very very surprised at this place First visit tonight. Find a table and order at the bar or on your phone The food was very good. However, my sizzling tandoori chicken wasn't quite sizzling and wasn't very hot, but everything else was spot on, and service was great, very food prices

Will never go this pub again used to live in the area so used to come here regularly,I was passing so thought I would come in for a drink while waiting for friends.today got a parking ticket didn't realise you at to pay to use not one member of staff mentioned it.beaware in future about parking

very bad idea to be able to reserve a table for drinks only .have not been able to get a seat for a meal even though 4 or 5 tables were empty and do not fill up until just before 9 when the quiz starts. also a lot of people who were in for meals finished and went home so there would have been plenty of tables for the quizers to use with out leaving tables empy for 2 hours when you could have had people using these seats for meals

Update 13 April 2024. We visited Satuday lunchtiime and it was busy with diners. I had fish & chips which was excellent. The fish was tasty and beautifully cooked as were the chips. Peas were good too. Only quibble was that the chip portion was on the small side and, for the price, should've been bigger. My partner had a veggie option, vegan ribs, which she enjoyed.

Busy on a Friday night as to be expected. Really nice cheap food and lovely staff. My family love eating here.

Great atmosphere! We went for tea with friends. Food was delicious, service was quick and staff were lovely and helpful! I thought the drinks were very reasonably priced considering it was a pub ! Totally recommend it!

The only thing to let the pub down was the outside. Around the entrance was strewn with cigarette butts which was off putting. We actually wondered whether to be bothered to go in but decided to give it a chance. Food was well cooked and staff were pleasant.

Just had yet another wonderful experience at The Man in Space last night with family and friends. The food as usual was tasty, the service friendly and efficient and just a great atmosphere to get together for a few drinks. Just be sure to book early as evenings (especially Fridays) are very popular

The service is super friendly. Bubblegum and passion fruit syrup from France is the first time I’ve seen Teisseire selection in the UK

I would like to thank all staff from last night, as we got moved from table 2 to 3 as the other people demanded that table, but you know what we found the table 3 better as we had more room. We where happy anyway and the food came quicker than expected so that was good too. Beautiful food as always. The man on the bar is always very cheerful and always very chatty, love it makes you feel very welcome.

Had fish and chips the fish was perfectly cooked the batter was thin and crispy and not raw inside but beautifully cooked and you could have the same meal for two people for £11.75 . It was a busy place service was quite quick considering how busy it was. Very enjoyable 😉

A great meal served fast and all hot. All offerings were lovely and tasty. Not a bad vegetarian selection. The app worked but it was impossible to select your options and so was easier just to go to the bar to order it. We will go again

We were seated on a reserved table for 2 where it faced the corner of the room! Literally sitting facing 2 walls?! Absolutely horrendous so I asked to be moved and was given a table for 4 space that was In a very dark area but better than facing a wall. The service was great at the bar the barman was very friendly and helpful as I'd never visited a sizzling pub before. Food took 35 minutes to arrive for starters and another 15 minutes for mains so we were hungry but we bad been warned it was a 45 minute wait and it was lovely food. Had 2 starters and 2 sizzling plates both cooked very well and delivered to our table hot. Used the app ordering to buy another drink and found the prices to be very good value. Enjoyed our visit and was pleasantly surprised after the bad start with the table. Will definitely revisit.

One of the best steaks I have had in a chain pub/restaurant. Great service and value. Just remember to log your car registration when you arrive, to avoid a parking fine.

Food is always good. But alot of the time will have a few screaming kids in the restaurant area. When i walked in today the restaurant was mostly empty but all the tables were prebooked with 3 hours in advance so we went toby carvery instead.

The service was friendly and accommodating, however a couple of our meals weren't right 1 was burnt and one was undercooked the chicken was slimely and rubbery, I told my daughter not to eat it didn't report this as staff were busy and didn't come back to see if meals were OK

We went on christmas eve, it was busy which wasn't necessarily for us but the staff were great and service was quick considering how busy they were.

It is really the best salad in town-chopped with bulgar wheat & broad beans- you can add Cajun chicken or salmon so delicious- second to none! Order salad bowl ! Yummy

I came for my birthday but i forgot my phone with a email for 25% off drinks, the staff couldn't help with this, also we had a burger offer buy one get one free but they didn't give us the stamps on the app cause we used the offer which i don't think is right

Breakfast with Santa experience was perfect. We had a lovely, relaxed family breakfast followed by a visit to Santa. . Best Santa ever. He was so authentic and no time restraints. Grandchildren could have spent as long as they wanted talking to him. Well done Santa ( and Stella) .

All the staff are really friendly, willing to help with anything and give great service. The food was amazing, again making changes to the the food wasn't a problem. We've have never had a bad meal here. We've been visiting for 16years. This time we went to celebrate my daughter's birthday and again the staff were incredibly polite, friendly and helpful. Even helping with the cake! It was such a fabulous evening.

Went following my dad's funeral. Asked to set up 'tab' as mourners would be coming for a drink. Member of staff was extremely rude and told would need to speak to manager, he didn't know how to do it. I heard manger say there was no funeral booked. This was not what I asked. When he set up tab was told there may be a wait for drinks, no staff. I also heard him ask if he could go for break; told no, the car had just turned up. It was stressful enough today, without this attitude. ? Customer service. Will not go to the man in space again

The order had food missing had to ask for 3 items off 1 meal,corn on the cob was freezing cold the butter sat on it and never melted,the gravy had lumps in it was that thick,chips were crunchy like the dreg ends of the bag,probably been reheated

Food potion is a lot smaller the menu is all over the place the food was over cooked and the staff weren’t interested
