I ordered the classic sprinkle cake that was nice but the custard pot you give was so small very disappointing

Lovely atmosphere, tasty food and absolutely amazing staff. Went in with my husband to do a mini gender reveal for ourselves and the brilliant staff read the slip discretely and even managed to hide the coloured sauce for the gender inside the ice-cream! Thank you for creating that moment for us :) x

Absolutely outrageous. I’ve ordered the viral kunafah pistachio pot and got this?? For £10??? This is actually sad…literally robbing people. Just for comparison the spoon doesn’t even go halfway in!! Very disappointing and won’t be ordering again cuz wth is this mockery….and just for the reference, this is what’s advertised on their website.

who is on shift today?????? Ive been ordering from this company over 5 years. Today I ordered the Dubai Loaded Kunafa Pancake Stack and i am extremely disappointed with the portion size. it is literally a stack of 3 mini pancakes . This is not the size of your pancakes. smaller than my daughter’s kids’ pancake stack! Nowhere does it state that these are mini pancakes, so I believe this must be a mistake. I called to express my concerns, and you hang up on me!! And the kunafa is burnt 😡

The food I ordered was absolutely delicious, and came within just over half an hour. Very chocolaty and indulgent, just how I like. The only thing I would not about it is it's the type of dessert which gets a bit stuck around your mouth and makes you chew slowly, you know what I mean? Sadly can not review atmosphere as I did not actually go, but from pictures it looks quite fancy. Overall would order again and they added a free "cookie explosion waffle" to my order, which I did enjoy as well.

i've been having dessert here for a long time, but can i just say the most recent visits have been amazing. The customer service is excellent and they will always make sure you leave happy with your food/ experience. their dubai chocolate selection is so delicious i reccomend it to everyone! 🤎

Really disappointing wrong order sent out

I came across this café’s posts on Instagram, and their desserts looked absolutely amazing. Since Stoke-on-Trent is a relatively small city, I initially thought there wouldn’t be a place like this here—but to my surprise, it was right in the heart of the city! Later, a friend also recommended it to me, so I decided to go with another friend. I ordered the Dubai chocolate & strawberry pot, and my friend had the pistachio sauce brownie. Both were absolutely delicious! I had an Americano, and my friend ordered a cappuccino, but she didn’t really like her coffee. She then switched to an Americano as well. The only downside was that there seemed to be very few staff members, so our coffee took quite a long time to arrive. That being said, the café itself is a lovely place, and I would definitely visit again and again. Just a small suggestion: they could consider increasing the number of staff and making the presentation of the food and drinks a bit more stylish and aesthetic to match the beautiful ambiance of the café. Thank you for the great experience!

Been going here for years but just ordered the signature “Brucey & Matilda” cake and I can’t say I’ve ever been this disappointed at a dessert order IN MY LIFE! STONE COLD. And no option for the restaurant to warm it up! The Bruce cake is almost £18 and there was absolutely no add on option, no custard, cream, ice cream nothing! It arrived almost frozen with no instructions on how to heat it up, same with the Matilda cake. Now I’ve warmed it up its turned extremely dry! The Bruce cake looks NOTHING like its photo. So they really shouldn’t be advertising it at all, it definitely isn’t “12 layers”. In fact you cannot tell the difference between the 2 cakes I wish I could get back every last penny i spent on this. What a SHAME (Believe it or not the BRUCE cake is the one behind on the photo)

Order through Deliveroo waited and hour and a half and the food was freezing cold. They also messed up one of the items covering it with pistachios which was a seasonal variation that was specifically not ordered cause the person couldn't eat them. Tried to ring the store multiple times and couldn't even get the phone to ring at any point and seems the staff left the phone off the hook or unplugged. Horrendous service and can't even make the food correctly. The food that was right was not the best either.

This was a disappointment 😞. The apple tasted soapy. Luke warm and overpriced.

Missed items off order so phoned the shop ,all they can say is go through uber well great ,so unless i pay again for a service that has not delivered i will not get my correct order i must claim off uber ,ridiculous no shop values no making sure the customer is happy farm you off so they do not have to deal with it all your out of pocket with no food and the shop that quickly takes your money does not care

Would not order again Pros - delivery driver from deliveroo gave good service and followed the instructions for delivery - lots of chocolate . I paid for extra but still was pleased they actually did that as I’ve paid extra other places and it’s still been measly - strawberries seemed to have been washed ,clean and of good quality unlike Some other places - came in a nice bag and packaging however I couldn’t care less just mentioning if some ppl are into that for photo purposes Cons - French toast was cold - I ticked the box for cutlery and was not given it so that was annoying when I had to wash cutlery and delay tucking in - packaged with strawberries so when I had to Heat it up in microwave I had to use a plate and separate my food making it a chore . Fast food is meant to be fast and convenient

Ordered via uber. Delivery was over an hour from leaving the restaurant and was given multiple drops on the way. Our desserts arrived cold and ice cream melted. Worst crepe I've ever tasted. Was given a flavour ice-cream that I didn't even pick. Waste of money. Won't be ordering here again

Me and my Partner ordered a little post work treat today. We finished at 11:45 PM and the food arrived at 12:15 AM. Brilliant! I’d also asked for a custom topping on my complementary Waffle half expecting not to get it however we were very pleasantly surprised when they had accommodated our request. Delicious food and outstanding service. 10/10 would recommend! Absolutely brilliant!

Absoutley disgusting! I ordered from their website as i thought it would be quicker delivery and i recieved cold waffles and pancakes! I mean not COLD but frozen food ! I had to put it in the microwave 3 times so it can be hot like commonnn , use better wraping boxes otherwise you will lose customers !!

Always have take away here and Mo is always pleasant and accommodating. Wish I could come in store more often as the take away versions are banging despite not being served straight away cus of waiting for the delivery driver. Their milk chocolate sauce is addictive!! 10/10

Let my £40 order go with an Uber eats driver without swiping it off. 2 hours later, still no food and told that I should’ve ordered off their site instead and I need to go and sort it myself. Very poor service.

Absolutely awful service. Arrived to an empty restaurant and told what seat to in when attempted to choose a seat. Waffle and coffees ordered and then a half hour wait before these actually arrived. Waffles made quickly and left on the side and brought over cold. Had to ask how long our drinks and food would be which then initiated them to start making the coffees over 20 minutes after ordering. Poor service which is a shame as the waffle and coffees were lovely.

Little Dessert Shop has become one of my favorite spots to satisfy a sweet craving. The moment you walk in, the colorful décor and cozy atmosphere make you feel instantly welcome. I recently tried their waffle with strawberries and Nutella, and it was pure indulgence—crispy, sweet, and perfectly balanced. The portions are generous, so it’s definitely a treat to share or to savor slowly. Their milkshakes are thick and rich, almost a dessert in themselves. While it can get a little pricey, the experience and the quality of the desserts make it totally worth it. Perfect for a sweet escape!

Place looked very nice, great atmosphere. Staff were good. Food itself was really good, would deffo recommend.

Terrible service ! Ordered full waffle and half waffle to be delivered . Only two half’s came , despite paying full amount . When I phoned the shop they would not help me . They could see I’d paid for a full and a half but refused to rectify this situation . Disgusting customer service and a complete rip off taking money off people and not providing what was paid for ! i ordered online for a delivery and unfortunately it came with half the order and i called up to get a refund or replacement and i got told i ordered it wrong. however i got the order confirmation up and i paid the amount i should of had but didnt recieve the dessert properly. i am disappointed with this as someone wasnt fed the full amount. we paid £17 but recieved £10 worth of dessert instead. as i said i called up but they wouldnt refund me.

A nice little find on our visit back from Waterworld in Stoke. We ordered two deserts which we shared between the four of us (2 adults, 2 children). They were yummy!

I ordered a collection order for my whole family and when I collected it and got home the cookie dough was burnt I called them up saying it’s burnt they said they will send out a replacement I waited 45 minutes when they told me I will get it in 15 minutes and no driver showed up I tried to call them again and then they didn’t even answer the phone very bad customer service won’t be buying from there again not impressed as I did a big order aswell

I order weekly quite a few times and the amount of disrespect from them I be it in the phone today when I make weekly regular orders is shocking. Clearly don’t care about regular customers. Ordered strawberries and raspberries on my crepe and I don’t even have one strawberry on it. It’s a small strawberry cut into three. And they had the ordacity to blame uber eats for getting into my food. Shocking

Ordered on Uber eats (buy 1 get 1 free cookie explosion waffle). Called up and wasn’t greeted nicely. Just “hello” then silence. I asked if I could sub more strawberries instead of Oreo cookie. I would completely understand if they were like “sorry but we can’t” but instead the girl on the phone just went “WHAT!?😒”. And handed the phone over to another employee. Seen a couple other reviews, I’m guessing about the same employee. Young rude white girl. Defo spends all Her time on social media and trying to live other peoples lives. Also one of my waffles didn’t come with strawberries. Food was alright. Only reason I’m giving 2 stars

Yesterday 11/06/24 I ordered from Little Dessert Shop. The food was delicious and warm, and the ice cream was fantastic. I really enjoy this dessert shop!

I would not waste your time & hard earned money on this place. I’ve ordered prior and had no issues but tonight ordered my usual which was a cookie dough, they had an offer buy one get one free and when they arrived they were both burnt (it then came to my realisation as why they had a deal on) I would’ve preferred pay the full price for the one to receive quality rather than this I have received. I will attach pics as person who answered phone thought it was advisable to get a refund from UBER yet it’s the restaurants problem. Disgusting business

Placed an order to be delivered. Pancake & 2 waffles with all the fruits. Hardly any fruit whatsoever even though you pay for individual portions. I wonder if it was just 1 fruit eg strawberries, we would have got more. Also the raspberries & strawberries were mushy not fresh. I love little dessert & never had this issue in the actual restaurant but extremely poor for delivery. Don’t pay for it, not worth the cost.

Ordered on UberEats The gelato bites were literally stale god knows how long they’ve been sitting there Karak chai milk cake again tasted disgusting 🤮 Gelato that came with the crepe and cookie dough tasted like it had been sat in the freezer for months- was icy and crunchy. With the amount of money the order cost it is an absolute rip off and ridiculous the prices they charge for stale disgusting food

It’s really incredible, I had a great time. Everything I ordered was excellent, from the smoothie to the waffle to the crepe. I have nothing to complain about the service, simply excellent. I strongly advise you to come, it’s among the best places I’ve eaten. LOVE IT!

We all had afternoon tea and it didn't disappoint. It was a different afternoon tea, obviously focusing on the sweeter side of things but I would definitely recommend and the staff were so good and they were very attentive

Hot chocolate was watery and delivered cold, ordered strawberry parfait and recieved stawberries in a horrid chocolate sauce. This place use to be great when it first opened, quality has gone down and prices have gone up. Never again

Poor service and very overpriced desserts. Ordered from them recently and requested a refund, due to one of our desserts being wrong and the other one being a tiny slice of cheesecake that we paid nearly £6 for. Not to mention them charging us for delivery to Hanley, when they’re only based in Hanley themselves! Absolute rip off, poor quality and awful customer service. Have contacted them on several occasions with zero response. AVOID.

We really like this place. The decor is beautiful and lavish. And their desserts are amazing, sad that I am Trying these now after 8 months in stoke and not earlier! I love their milk cakes saffron first and pistachio no2! Ice cream selection is nice and we also Liked their variety of hot chocolates. Service is humble! Coming back to try their special menu/platter and also the waffles/pancakes soon.

friday 23 february at 14:04 had the rudest and weirdest server, this white girl, light hair and eyes, ponytail, eyelashes extensions and full face of make up. she was extremely rude and practically spoke nothing when giving me my table. when she came with my order she literally threw the plates into the table and didnt say a word, weirdo and caveman behaviour. learn to have manners and sorry if ur life is miserable lol

I haven't actually been into the shop, but we've ordered their gelatachinos (cookies and cream) from here quite a few times and they are always so good. The delivery is fast and the flavor is so good. I do need to order some food from here cause the drinks are tasty Update: the last two times we have ordered it's taken 55 mins and 1 hour to arrive just for two milkshakes. Waiting an hour for a milkshake isn't worth it anymore so we probably won't order again.

We loved the desert here, I had the waffle and the other half had the cookie dough, it's a lot to eat so make sure you're ready for a tasty treat! Not overly priced either for what you get, I would recommend.

Actually had our delivered to meir and we always use here. Fresh ice cream still frozen cakes textures spot on just leaves you to want more. I called up to say who made this desert the lady was like I’m not sure is everything ok?? I was like ok it’s the best 🤣🤣

I used to love this dessert shop but it has really gone down bank the food is bland not warm when received the milkshakes are more milk then ice cream now ..if you really want a lovely milkshake go smash on trent absolutely gorgeous will never be using this shop again smash on trent all the way and there bringing more desserts out there too.

Absolute dive. Ordered through just eat found a thick black hair in a custard pot and a beard hair in an ice cream pot. The restaurant refused a refund even though we provided picture's. Clearly are not following standard food hygiene protocol. Save your well earned money AVOID.

I ordered from here not so long ago, I found hairs in my food I called them up to tell them about it and they told me they they were sending out more cake, I then opened my tub of ice cream to find more hair in there, so i called them back and told them I didn’t want any more food and that I wanted a refund, they told me to go through just eat which is what I’ve done, they told me to provide photographic evidence I’ve provided evidence and they’re telling me that they can’t refund me? Absolute joke of a place sort out your hygiene

We placed a large order for the family. The items included chocolate cake, brownie, pancake, crepe, waffles, hot chocolate, ice cream and finally milkshakes. The ONLY decent thing we recieved were the milkshakes. Cakes and brownies are a major disappointment, and not as described on the website. They were extremely dry and therefore impossible to eat. We threw away two full brownies as they were to dry to eat. Waffles/crepes/pancakes were slightly better and definitely more edible. However I can make better pancakes at home for a matter of 50p in comparison to the large amount we spent at this shop. The pancake mix is very gooey and sticky, as if it hadn't been fully cooked. Even being undercooked they tasted better than the brownies and cakes. Hot chocolate was luke warm and had very little flavour. I could've drank warm water and had the same satisfaction. Ice cream is definitely not as advertised. These are chocolate chip ice cream without any brownies or caramel which it falsely advertises on the website. Milkshakes are the one and only good thing about this place. They are lush and come jam packed with delicious flavour. However I'd recommend order a small size as they are very sickly. Another issue is with the shops delivery driver. He left out order on the pavement outside the block of flats we live in. Very poor service, and I can't imagine is manager would be too pleased to learn of this Overpriced is a major understatement. I'm really disappointed with the amount of money we spent and the lack of quality and enjoyment we recieved. Prices are extortionate and products don't live up to expectations. I've had better brownies and cakes from Lidl. Don't waste your money, because I guarantee it will be a waste and it won't be a small some of money either with the outrageous prices.

Checked the just eat app to check if the store had concrete cake in stock (shown it was), walked into the store and greeted by a staff member who looked like she didn’t want to be there. Asked if we could have a slice of concrete cake (it was also in the glass container infront of the till so we know the store had it) to be told “we don’t do this here, we have non in stock”. Customer service was poor!

Just recently ordered spent over 25 pound recieved wrong items when called and explained was advised nothing they can do….. Won’t be ordering again

4 of us Went here tonight for a little treat. Was greeted by a young lad who took us to a table. Went to the till to order. Sat back down to wait for our desserts and drinks. Few minutes later he came to say the drink i had ordered wasnt available and asked if I wanted to choose another, which I did and was £1 cheaper, never offered a refund but i wasnt too fussed as it was only £1. Not too long later, the same young lad came with my order, put it down and slid it across the table to me and did the same with the cutlery. He then bought out the rest of the orders. We all had drinks. He put them all on the end of the table and walked off, we had to ask which was which. Without a word he just dumped mine in front of me and left the other 3. The shop closes at 12am. 11.10pm he starts to hoover around us, we took this as our que to go. We finished and left. After the poor costumer service, I should have asked for the £1 difference back but this may have inconvenienced the poor young lad! No wonder the place was empty. Such a shame the customer service let this place down tonight as the desserts were lovely.

Good little place to eat and nice desserts but on the other hand, the customer service was appalling, the young lad served us didn’t tell us a price just expected us scan our card, didn’t really think anything of it. We ordered a 2 scoop ice cream and it came melted and when he served my crepe he slammed it down on the table and chucked the cutlery on the table with no care. Has nice desserts in general but need to improve customer service.

Best dessert shop in stoke! Since this place has opened I can’t find better tasting waffles or cookie dough anywhere. Always top quality and very fast delivery. Atmosphere is lovely, if you’re celebrating anything, definitely recommend you pop in. 10/10

Just received our order from here. Second time ordering now. 1st time was lovely even though we both received different icereams then what was advertised. 2nd time same thing however they put Nutella all over my malteser waffle. I can't stand Nutella so very let down by this and gave it to my partner instead. Also, suppose I had a nut allergy? Better care needs to be taken when putting the toppings on

Had an order tonight tonight from uber eats and we recieved only 1 tango ice blast when we ordered 2 ...we rang little dessert shop who said they had a checking system in place so know 2 left the shop so the driver had taken it ..which is fine but you would think they would just use tape to tape up the bag if they know this problem exsists
