Great night, great service and great company

Wonderful atmosphere, Staff very pleasant, took the time to make conversation, which is not what you get in many Wetherspoons... Great selection of real ales and kept perfectly.

Found one member of staff made me feel uncomfortable and I don't know why I keep coming back

Refused entry of 17 year old away fan on his own. 10am, game not until 3pm. Was first told he was refused because he was an away fan. Then staff proceeded to tell me he wouldn't have been served to breakfast because he was under 18 knowing he was 17?! When i phoned back staff denied all knowledge of my son being refused. Was then told by manager he could catch taxi to one of their other venues. Told them he would rather walk the 2miles to mcds.

Lovely good value food and drink

The worst Spoons I've ever stepped foot in. They messed up my entire group's orders, whether cold food, an incorrect meal, or a messed up pint. Staff were rude to me and refused to exchange my pint for a replacement drink. Rough crowd, frequented by day drunks and aggressive types.

Disappointing. Smokers are gathered directly outside the door so their fumes waft in. The staff and service were friendly and professional. It was not overly busy, more drinkers than diners. Medium & medium rare steaks were ordered. All were thin cut ( probably correct weight ) and well done, dry & disappointing. We visit Wetherspoons regularly all over the country - if this had been a first visit it did not leave a good impression.

Met me and my work mates here to have some much needed drink and food...Firstly gotta say I did like the Atmosphere lively and busy.....My mate talked me into down loading the app to order and Jesus!....After I navigated the app (Dead easy and clear) I ordered a Bangers n mash (Which ill admit I ate in about 3mins) and kopperberg which came to table so so fast! Very very kind and lovely service from the lovely girl (We was Table 30) reference purposes lol. Great place and highly recommend it for a good catch up and I'm defo going back! Great staff! The fish was cooked to perfection and lots of fish too.

surprisingly good food and good prices!. try the pizza. sometimes they are out of many things on the menu but the pizza deal is a good fallback. good pints and good prices.

All because I had my head on table we got cut off not even had much alcohol but because apparently I was drunk they cut us off bollolks mate

Service was appalling we order 4 meals and two people had finished there's before the last two came out after having to go back up and ask. One of the burger buns was so hard you could not eat it. Disgusting just wanted a cheap meal while shopping. Never again!!!

Used to be a good music back in the day. First time in it as a Weatherspoons. Had a half then went. People F'ing and jeffing in front of children gets right on me nerves. Not a place for kids really, but folk should behave.

More like an old fashioned boozer than a wetherspoons but I enjoyed my visit and there was a great selection of cask ales

Popped in here for breakfast, and having had breakfast in other spoons was expecting something good. What a massive letdown. I definitely won't be using this for breakfast. Very low quality.

Tables and menus are sticky, but the food has always been tasty and it's a chilled vibe. Edit: as soon as I posted this review they refurbished the pub, so they must have read it and I can't promise that my review still stands as I've not yet returned

Usually go to Spoons at Stone..£1.95 for large lemonade and fresh oj..that's bad enough🙄, Same drink is spoons at Stoke is 60p dearer..Why?? 🤔🤔

Lovely friendly pub with great staff. Usual pub grub, good selection for vegetarians. Nice ales.

Manager can come across as miserable. The beer is constantly flat or tastes like its on the turn. Food is nothing to write home about.Poor quality. I suppose you get what you pay for.

A single vodka with cranberry juice4 19 pence the cranberry is free so a single vodka .use be 4 19 pence this a miss conception shocking in wethers Thursday. In other pub 2 20 plus 1 00

I ordered Sausages, Chips and Beans. According to the menu the sausages were supposed to be Lancashire Sausages. But I got plain sausages. Also the quantity of baked beans was very small.

Went on 17th March for a takeaway coffee. They had no coffee cup lids. The coffee machine had no coffee beans left in it. Instead I attempted to make a tea, but no milk was left in the jug. The whole place was a mess with tables not cleared. I just walked out in the end without a hot drink.

Like all Weatherspoonns, it is great value for money, both food and drink. This was a friendly pub and very busy. The food was great pre football lunch. The only problem is that it is normally a home fans only.

Went for breakfast at weatherstones stoke-on-trent, and the woman serving was the most miserable person that has ever served me. I didn't want hash browns and asked if i could swap them for something else and she was very abrupt like i shoud have known. Eggs had to go back cos they were snotty on the top. Same eggs came back and i had a tiny cold single mushroom. My friend got shouted at by another assistent for saying 'thanks for that' because they must have assumed she was saying some else. The best thing was the free coffee refills. I wont be going again.

We go to Wetherspoons often. They had run out of some items. Kids had pasta with mascarpone sauce - yes kids meal - but it was tiny and microwaved within an inch of its life. I had all day breakfast - egg was cooked until it was completely rubberised. My beans were also well microwaved.

Didnt eat there just a Sat night out..seems like they have more staff on which is good although they could smile a bit more

Served prity quick found a pint that was ok. But have to say it's one of the first spoons but needs a complete renovation, Mr Martin buck your ideas up and spend some money on this pub. Urgently.

Great prices for beers and lager. Had a triple American cheese burger and was very satisfied with the quality. Really nice place. Really enjoyed my first visit.

Cheap and cheerful. You'll struggle to beat their drinks prices and the food is very reasonable. Ideal pub if you prefer something without music playing and if you're on a budget but the lack of music/entertainment can bring down the atmosphere

Waited half an hour for two paninis, when they arrived the chicken inside was stone cold so I asked for a refund. The lady at the bar was nice enough but the manager was blunt and rude. He brought a new panini to me which was still cold in the middle but I'd given up by this point, and no refund was given either.

We had mixed grill it was appalling!! We couldn't make out what some of the meat was it was only luke warm and so was the chips never again!

I ordered a meal with added extras paid in advance on the app. When the meal was served I was told sorry we are out of stock of the extras. No refund was offered or given. The lady who I presume was the manageress simply said "your meal looks lovely" and promptly walked away before I could say anything. To me that was the same as being short changed.

Small place, always crowded, but atmospheric. An ordinary pub, like everywhere else, with pretty flowers outside in the summer.

The food was very poor.gammom was tough ,egg was burnt. Chips and peas were cold. The chicken meal was dry , And I could have soled my shoes with the steak , I asked for fruit salad , Advertised as apple,strawberry, banana, and blueberries, What I got was one strawberry and a banana. Also the lady thought it was a better idea to give us a fork each for our pudding. Which would have been hard with the ice cream . I can honestly say this has been the worst witherspoon we have used . Did I mention that we All wanted fish originally. But they didn't have any. Never again we were really disappointed 😥

This pub is bucking the trend, great staff and service. It's like a pub should be a lot of good natured banter, all the other pubs in Stoke are dead. I have never tried the food

One of the restaurants I like to visit in the UK is the Wetherspoon chain. Delicious food at good prices. This time I wanted to try the Katsu Grilled Chiken Curry. A simple dish but full of flavor, low in calories but enough to be satisfied. The presentation is appetizing: Grilled chicken breast slices on a bed of rice, accompanied by parsley and a few pieces of chili pepper. Tucked in a delicious curry sauce. An indü taste well achieved. I recommend this delicious dish if you like to try new flavors.

It's a spoons and I love a breakfast. Just as well I don't mind burnt toast. Because that's what I got hope that's not the norm

Can't go wrong with this Wetherspoons. Staff always friendly whenever I visit and seem to remember faces well. Food is good and reasonable price but the ales never disappoint. Sometimes it can get a bit busy in there but that's to be expected. The wait times are never excessive.

Ordered Scampi and Chips from the app, looks like a Childs portion. Shocking not value for money at all

Great place to eat and drink. Has clean and up to date restrooms. It can get overcrowded on a hot day but the staff are lovely.

Visited for much of the Saturday 6th May before and after an app guided walk. All the staff seemed friendly and helpful even though we were painted blue smurfs. Food was nice and drinks a good price

Usual quality of Wetherspoons, no music so you can hear yourselves speak, prices very reasonable.

Stopped off for breakfast and have to say was well impressed. It was quite busy but the food arrived pretty fast and it was lovely. The staff were so friendly and attentive and this is one of the cleanest spoons we have ever been in 😁

Authentic, keeping in line with it being an old cinema house, staff friendly. Large outdoor area for smokig and non smoking. Very clean....toilets immaculate....cant fault anything....will definately return

Ordered Ribeye Steak and Chips, Medium, with a Punk IPA on the side. The steak smelt and tasted like donner meat from a kebab shop and was greyer than my nan. Absolute pure lack of actual beef on the 10oz, got left with about 6oz of unrendered fat. The saving grace was the ketchup, the pint and the mostly cooked chips. Absolutely useless, wouldn't recommend for a steak, even for the cheap price.

called in for a coffee got a refill mug however coffee machine wasn't working properly told a staff member that wasn't busy mumbled under her breath that she would look at it and that's a she did was look i ended up paying for a mug and no drink just wanted to grab a coffee at 8.30am before I started work the place wasn't even busy, I will go a cafe next time

super super busy on a match day and our food got with us within 8 minutes and even checked back up on us! amazing service

Went for breakfast Not good at all beans cold,eggs overdone and crispy round the edges ,bacon over cooked yet cold.What has happened the breakfasts were always excellent value for money and good ,this was a very poor offering. How can they get it so wrong when its the same menu in all JDs. Also place not clean and cobwebs above our table. Better value for money in the cafe over the road. Do the area mangers not check the food anymore ??

Staff very rude over charging for drinks and when I said about the over charge the manger was very rude to me asked him why he was being the way he was with me I was told me and my friend were barred and not to come back drinks taken off our table so we left absolutedisgus
