Lovely setting and pleasant staff. Priced reasonable. We chose a double afternoon tea. The sandwich were really delicious and fresh. Lots of filling. The scone was hard, but I asked to change and got a delicious warm soft scone as a replacement. Lots of tea and moist light cake. Sensible afternoon tea, not too much cake.

Staff and food was the problem. The waitress got the order totally wrong and what she actually brought was a disgusting cremated bun with unrecognisable substance with what looked like a tomato paste. This was supposed to be a bacon roll. I’m not a fussy eater I can assure you but this was the absolute pits. Very poor experience. Beware.

We found this lovely cafe tucked away near the cathedral. The food is amazing lots of choice and so fresh and my sis said the chips were the best she had ever eaten. We have been back again today for the full English and it was perfect we will most definitely continue to visit. One of the main attraction is the fabulous staff they are welcoming and so very nice.

I have always found Swan good value , good pub grub. Went for Xmas Fayre menu at £30.95 this was expensive for the quality of the meal! Cold . Hard sprouts no parsnips undercooked pigs in blankets … no very good at all . Not sure if there’s been a change of cooks but not a patch on what it was!

We've been coming to The Atrium for over 6 months now, every month. The coffee and cake are fab, the lunch is delicious and the team there are so friendly and helpful, we love coming! There's loads of places to have a sit down and a bite to eat in Bridgnorth, but the Atrium is something you won't get anywhere else. Everyone walks in and just says "wow, what an amazing venue" - and it is!

We were being treated to a meal as a late Christmas present and were really looking forward to trying the Acton under new management ...how disappointed were we. Firstly, we waited absolutely ages for both our starters and mains. I had the monk fish, which was delicious but miniscule for the price. The others had the asparagus, which came as small slithers of asparagus on peas with a duck egg, which had the taste of being fried in old oil. The two gluten-free friends were unable to have an egg as it came in bread crumbs, and the kitchen wasn't able to poach one. I chose the burger main, and to be fair, it was tasty and filling. Two of the others had the sea bass, and one fish came undercooked and cold. We mentioned this to the waiter who said that he'd "have a word" with the kitchen, but no one came back to us. The puddings were nice, but like the rest of the meal (except my burger) were small. The bill came with two bottles of wine to over £200 ! A vastly disappointing evening

although the decor inside could be nicer. Was lovely to learn of its history & to sit in the area outside. Limited basic (vegan) menu & only filter coffee.! The toilets were filthy, & had no paper. Steep incline to reach the cafe, fine for buggys & wheelchairs. Parking in the main town and about a 10-15min walk.

We booked for a special 70th birthday celebration for my mother. We pre informed the team on the phone of our special dietary requirements, 5* vegan, and were extremely disappointed to be told when we arrived and ordered that our special requirements could not be met as they didnt have a record. We were offered vegan sandwiches but as most will appreciate, you dont have an afternoon tea for the sandwiches! Whilst we appreciate it wasnt the servers fault, the customer service was poor and we felt like we were the ones in the wrong! Even though we could see the drinks had been made and we asked to have those complimentary (given our wasted 30 minute drive), we were told they weren't ready! It ruined our special day - our toddler was crying all the way home - and we wont be returning.
