Lunchtime at 12.45 pm they had run out of soup, jacket potatoes, sausage and bacon. We had to have sandwiches at £4.75 each which were extremely poor and probably only worth half the price. Will not be eating there again.

Siendo una de las pocas tiendas en la ciudad que vende papas fritas reales de papas reales, ahora comeré en la tienda turca de papas fritas a la vuelta de la esquina. . . . . . así es como se puede decir que solo sirven para personas borrachas que no saben qué día es menos que estén comiendo papas fritas, lástima porque el tipo de la tienda era un buen hombre.

Entramos solo para echar un vistazo rápido, pero disfrutamos de una taza y un pastel en la cafetería de la planta baja. Los muebles estaban un poco gastados, pero todos los demás aspectos eran una delicia. Grandes pasteles que incluyen opciones veganas. ?

We went as a group of 12 for a family birthday, we pre-booked a table and surprised they didn’t ask for the food order in advance as some places have before for us but… They took the order and the food came out in good time and was fresh and hot. Everyone cleaned the plates and that’s a good sign of good food. Large portions and tasted great with no complaints, not even off the kids and teenagers! Would absolutely recommend the Podge and Tim for the service, good quality and portions, and the atmosphere. Prices very reasonable for the quality 👍 We all said we would go again

We had a birthday party at no 35 and it was the perfect venue. Really well made drinks and cocktails, great food and the service was excellent; nothing was too much trouble Highly recommend for popping in for a drink too

Absolutely love The Vale! The staff are incredibly friendly and go out of their way to make everyone feel welcome. The food is always spot on, and the community vibe is second to none. We’ve been coming for a while and the events they host are brilliant—truly above and beyond. Highly recommend!

I came yesterday with my friends for afternoon tea, it was by far the worst afternoon tea experience we’ve ever had!! I was so shocked that this awful experience came from such reputable hotel! Very unexpected! I was so looking forward for a traditional afternoon tea and I choose the hotel based on reputation and location and invited my friends to come along, I’ve initially booked for 7 and two cancelled on the day for emergency reasons, the afternoon tea was then served, it didn’t look appetising or inviting, tea cups arrived with no saucers underneath, no cups for water for water bottles!! The food was served on one of these wooden blocks which was unexpected and unappealing for the traditional afternoon tea style we were expecting, those blocks were ugly and made it hard to access the items desolated inside and made it hard to communicate with ont another as there in ur face kind of thing!! The whole desolate looked like anything but a traditional afternoon tea style! Coming to the food itself We had soggy couple of sandwiche sliced each, unappealing purple dyed salmon setting on densed pastry (why would u dye the beautiful salmon colour in that unappealing appetising way, it was awfull, we also had arancini balls with meat in the middle despite me telling them we dont want anything containing meat or pork or alcohol when I booked, they apologised and replaced it later with vege version, Scones where ice cold, not fresh and it looked and tasted like what you get in these prepackaged scones from supermarkets,, we also had runny icecrem with few diced pieces of strawberries swimming in the middle, At this point we were off and didn’t want to complete the couple of items left in the sweet section because they also looked like something u just opened from packaging and placed on a plate in a rush!! When we’re ready to pay I was told I need to pay for seven although five came and I asked for afternoon for five on arrival as two cancelled due to emergency happened at the time, no one mentioned this when I booked and it didnt sound right that I have to pay for two extra when they didn’t turn up, The restaurant manager came and told me that he had to prepare for seven and I have to pay for seven because of this, at this point I flipped and wasn’t sure what exactly was pre prepared as everything there looked like ready made supermarket quality food not a top hotel restaurant quality food, and he can see they that there was food left over which shows that wr didn’t enjoy what wr had!! He the. Said I don’t know what’s ur explanation from an afternoon trea, I then Stopped him and said I’ve been to so many in my life most in hotels and I never received this below average experince, food in other place looked artisan, made for you, prepared, inviting, appetising, opposite to what we had! He then apologised and ask me to pay for the five wr had! I’ll never come back again nor my friends will, worst food and very unprofessional restaurant manager, he’s got zero customer service and satisfaction experince!! What a shame…

Was here for the NEC Home building and renovation show. I got the buffalo chicken burger which was alright but no blue cheese or much flavour as it’s advertised as a gourmet burger. Lovely waitress and not long to wait so was sufficient enough for 4 stars.

Only Sunday roast is available but it’s amazing! friendly staff and locals, felt welcome considering I’m not from around these parts

Visted here a few times this year and love the oldy woldy café. The menu has a good selection at great prices. A Lovely place to stop and have light refreshment. You can only pay via cash not card.

Ordered for delivery two fish, chips & sausage in a tray. On 3 occasions stated NO salt & Vinegar, when we received them they were covered in vinegar, which the kids wouldn't eat. Tried calling numerous times, the phone just constantly rings out. Waste of money and still have hungry kids.

It was an older building but absolutely spotless and well maintained.

I’m a childminder and for many years have visited the wacky warehouse on a weekly basis with the children . I’m always greeted by friendly staff but in particular I would like to mention a member of staff by the name of Becky who myself and the children always look forward to seeing . She goes above and beyond to make us feel welcome always interacting with the children , making us a a coffee .Not only is she always on the go but the wacky warehouse is always spotless and organized when we visit . The children know her by name and always look forward to seeing her . This is one of the reasons we enjoy coming weekly .
