Visited on Friday and dared to question what time the Act was on. Greeted? By the most Angry Agressive Man Ive ever met. I believe he’s the Manager? Michael. Shocking upsetting experience. Avoid at all costs!!! Ive spread the word

Cold food, cold plates, the place was grubby and the staff looked so bloody miserable. I will not go again, which is a shame as it was so good. I don’t know what has happened to it. But it’s bye from me.

Held a retirement party in The Lounge, had booked the buffet option done but outside caterers. Was emailed a large & varied menu, I double checked that everything was included for £15 per head - when it was served there was about 8 platters & no where near the full amount of food off the menu. Certainly not worth the money, it was fresh & looked nice but terrible quantity!! The manager was no help at all, she kept saying she’d come back to me with an answer, I’m still waiting 😡😡

I have visited this establishment on a couple of occasions and both times the staff has been very friendly, coming to the table to take the order, but the food has been very slow to arrive and was of a poor standard, not hot (just tepid). The staff didn't come to check if everything was OK and when I commented on the food I was told "well if you had let us know we would have done something about it"> Come on Guys, how about you check with your customers if everything is OK and then act on it if not. I will not go back.

Local pub Friendly good atmosphere

Lovely hotel with quality bedrooms and high quality bathrooms, our stay was one night as we had a wedding in the area. Breakfast whilst acceptable the service left us a little underwhelmed, the coffee whilst in demand wasn’t replenished with any urgency the bread the yogurts not replenished and neither was the butter. At times the milk was empty too The staff seemed oblivious to the problem so i respectfully approached one of the team and offered constructive criticism highlighting the issue, whilst the lady listened she seemed confused, I asked her is the continental offering was first come first served , another lady took control and disappeared into the kitchen and a few mins later came out with all of the missing items, followed by coffee and milk and clean cups and saucers Problem solved! The staff need to keep an eye on replenishment of the produce Would have given full marks but this review if representative of the weakness in the breakfast offering

We have experienced some poor meals out this year but lunch today at The Grazing Cow[ was possibly the worst to date. No welcome at all. Immediately noticed that staff looked as if they had collectively received bad news. If the quality of the food served today is their usual standard, then bad news re redundancy should be in the offing. My wife had the Sunday roast, with dried out turkey and - God help us, mange tout. Really - a pathetic veg at its best, a few peas, small pieces of potato [no sign of roast ones]. Dreadful. My Hunters chicken schnitzel may be the worst meal I have ever had out.. I thought I was chewing a re-fried bagel. There was an awful sauce - well a dab of it. And even my wife, a practiced exponent of constructive feedback, could not face what might have been the Massacre of the Innocents. I'm not going to add any positive feedback now. Except to say that the manager and owner should take action.

We visited The Steam Turbine and was not disappointed. Clean tables,friendly atmosphere ,lots of food and drinks to choose from ,the man who served us gets a 10 out of 10 from me so helpful .was well impressed with how clean the toilets were,will definitely be calling back 5 stars +

I planned my journey down the M6 to stop into these services to charge my car for the remainder of our trip home. BAD mistake, only 3 chargers serving both North bound and South bound drivers, I had to wait 30 minutes for a chager, and it was only a medium speed, almost had an argument with another driver whilst I waited to drive into one of the bays. I won't EVER revisit these services again, and strongly reconmmend other EV drivers to use other services instead.

Este país se está volviendo rápidamente fuera de lugar con sus reglas patéticas. ¡Ahora vivimos en una época en la que apenas existimos y mucho menos vivimos!

Dobbies has destroyed this once lovely garden centre. They’ve reduced it to an eclectic expensive soulless warehouse. Checkout women was miserable! Cafe is more like a canteen and I found it almost impossible to find a clean plate in the pile of illegally clean plates. There was no ambiance or atmosphere of any kind! The management respond to the criticism by way of acknowledgement but they’ve done nothing about it. I should have read the reviews before going as I could have saved myself a journey! What a flea pit! Surprised at Waitrose!

Spent two nights there and had a room overlooking the entrance/reception which initially I thought was a good thing. However below our window the smokers congregated resulting in plumes is cigarette smoke rising up into the room so we had to keep the window shut. What made things worse was a private function was taking place over the same weekend and on the two nights we were there people gathered below our room talking and occasionally singing through the early hours. The phone in the room didn’t work to call the night porter, when I rang “externally” I had no answer and for over two hours on Saturday night/Sunday morning we had no sleep at all. Night staff must have just decided not to do anything about the noise as there is no way they would not have heard the noise as it was directly outside the entrance door. On leaving the hotel the floor outside the reception was littered by loads of cigarette ends making a terrible mess.

shambollick - dirty seats all stained, paper cups even though there were pottery cups on the counter and dreadful service taking over 15 minutes to get a coffee ridiculous. the store looks very run down too and no staff around. no wonder places close down what happened to customer service - will not be going again.
