I have visited this establishment on a couple of occasions and both times the staff has been very friendly, coming to the table to take the order, but the food has been very slow to arrive and was of a poor standard, not hot (just tepid). The staff didn't come to check if everything was OK and when I commented on the food I was told "well if you had let us know we would have done something about it"> Come on Guys, how about you check with your customers if everything is OK and then act on it if not. I will not go back.

He tenido mejores cenas del colegio! En verdad, ¡no lo hagas!

escondido en un rincón acogedor en Worcester, podría ser una pequeña joya. Pero en realidad es cansado, sucio, mala comida y un servicio pobre. No te molestes.

The Art House Cafe has been upgraded and now under new management and it now offers a theatre / pre show service so before booking a table for 4 I decided to give it a preview and went in for lunch. The decor is greatly improved and the food was very good although a little pricey. The wine is very expensive. £22.00 for a cheap bottle of Chilean Red, £7.50 for a large glass and the service was pretty dreadful. We were left hanging about at the door until we decided to take a seat and I had to go up to the bar to find out what service they provided. It is table service but the waitress had no idea how to serve a table, she forgot to bring us cutlery, didn't know what the specials were and was more interested in chatting to her colleague behind the bar. So we won't be booking a pre show table there and if management want this to be a success and compete with other local outlets they need to train their staff and review their prices.

Used to love this place but it is now tatty and grubby. The service is slow to non existent . I walked out last time because food never appeared. This time I thought give a second go only to watch others leave because food did not appear - could be because the 'chef' was chatting at the bar. Come on buck your ideas up ! There are 2 alternatives at the foot of your stairs!

We had been here 2 years ago and really liked the food and the atmosphere. This visit was just the opposite! Asked for a glass of Sauvignon Blanc, was told they had no white or rose at all, as the order had not arrived. I wish we had left at that point - but we ordered food. The baked potato was ok, not great, but the so-called butchers' Cumberland sausages were skinny little things out of a packet or tin. The food took ages to arrive and we heard other customers being told that their choice from the menu was not available. The staff were not at all interested in serving the customers and the only response to our disappointment was " I don't eat meat so I don't know about the sausages"! We won't be going back!

Stopped in here for lunch when I was in Worcester with my partner. We had walked past the chalkboard downstairs and thought the menu and prices looked very reasonable so gave it a go. Walking in we were immediately struck by the relaxed atmosphere and cafe feeling (small tables and bohemian decor). The staff were really friendly and the food proved to be well prepared and carefully put together. We had a Niçoise salad which had the tuna as a tuna steak and a great selection of different salad items included. Both the tuna steak and the steak (beef) that my partner had were well cooked. We did have a bit of an issue paying at the end as the member of staff didn't yet know the price of food on the menu and undercharged us (we put him right because he'd undercharged us so significantly). The tables were also a bit sticky, reminiscent of nightclub floors - unfortunate but most likely a result of the fact that in the evenings we understand from the staff that it becomes the main bar for the theatre next door. Sticky tables aside, this was a lovely find for a simple but tasty lunch and I would certainly go there again if I find myself back in Worcester.

Nice food at reasonable prices. Shame some of the staff seemed to be more interested in talking to each other than serving the customers.

The Art House Cafe, next door to Huntingdon Hall in Worcester is a great little cafe. With a good selection of drinks, even alcoholic, and tea and coffee, we were pleasantly surprised that Chai Latte was on the menu, my companion's favourite drink! We ordered 2 sandwiches (other, more substantial meals, were available), BBQ Breaded Chicken and Cheddar and Chicken and Salsa, both on Ciabatta bread. They were very nice and tasty. We also ordered fries to share, maybe it would be a nice touch to include the fries with the meal. At £6.50 for a sandwich, it isn't cheap, but the quality was very good. Total bill £18.90, for 2 sanwiches, fries and a tea and a soft drink. A very good lunch venue in Worcester. Will definitely go back and sample other sandwiches and for shoppers, it is a must try!

We had a birthday party at no 35 and it was the perfect venue. Really well made drinks and cocktails, great food and the service was excellent; nothing was too much trouble Highly recommend for popping in for a drink too

Horrendous - put two orders in for next day delivery £20 in delivery fees. One order wasn’t processed at all the other wasn’t delivered! Huge waste of time and money 3-5 days for a refund even though they didn’t supply a single thing promised. The first one it took 5 attempts to contact customer service to get a response and the second quicker to get through but still highly inconvenient sitting on online chat.

Super accommodation at a great price. We had the feature room, great size, comfy bed and loved the nods to Elgar including the carpet 😀

Very disappointed, large pasty very bland, filling was very mushy & lacking in flavour. Not very good customer service: shop was empty but staff were busy chatting/socialising with each other..would not recommend. Very expensive for the quality of items purchased. will not use again
