Food was not verry nice at all we had full monty mix grill stake was over cooked same for the chicken... we also had the lamb keema stack it was bloody awful it was bland and tasted like spaghetti bolognese poppadoms where soft n floppy... we shall not be coming back as it was awful

Always a nice friendly pub. We meet up with old school friends as the Steam Turbine in central for all of us. Well priced food with some great offers. Look after by Petra always with a great sense of humour and welcoming. Highly recommend a visit if you are in the area.

Ordered the 8 oz rump steak medium/well and it was cooked beautifully. 15oz gammon was also and quite filling. Staff helpful.

4 of us had a mix up it had loads of flavour massive portions couldn’t finish it all will be back again great value for money

Staff not very welcoming didn’t care if we was there or not! we mentioned about the cutlery as they was brought out just before your meal at one time ! But obviously has changed as when we asked about them the member of staff just pointed and said over there! Another thing was we mentioned the table was ringing wet when it had been wiped and the floor was covered in peas crisps and napkins when said this to the member of staff that came around asking if everything was okay she just said I’ve only just started my shift today and I’m not the cleaner so for that experience we will not be going back this is not the first bad customer service in the steam turbines over a year ago we had a problem with the meal and rude service didn’t go back ! Thought we would give them the benefit of the doubt but no never again !

Thought i would pop in here one Sunday afternoon as i was in Rugby for the day. Located only a few minutes walk across from the Junction 21 retail park, it is worth a visit. Good atmosphere, a nice friendly family pub, not too big, but of size, with a outside play area, consisting of a slide etc, and outdoor seating area. This pub is also dog friendly - there is a 'doggie-keg' prior to the entrance door as you enter the establishment, where your pet can get a drink of water. Being part of the Hungry Horse chain, the food is reasonably priced, with deals throughout the week (see photos of the menu i have attached to this review). With good friendly service, this is a nice place to go if you have an hour or so to kill.....or even longer!

Great food and great atmosphere. Ashleigh is brilliant. Great going guys. Mac n chees and chicken wings with peri peri sauce.

Me and my boyfriend came in for a breakfast, he had fried breakfast and I had boiled egg on toast. The egg was so runny, it melted in my mouth. The horseshoe was so tasty, very well presented and the lovely waiter was really friendly and his service was excellent.

Fish and chips for two, fish nice but overcooked and the chips looked like they'd been lying around since lunchtime. When the lady came to take the plates she asked if everything was okay, I said the chips were well overcooked and she said 'sorry'. We should have complained when the lad brought the food but we didn't!

Visited early on Saturday night (9th) and was seated straight away. Chose our food and drinks then ordered at the bar. Transaction was quick and easy. The restaurant was clean, plenty of cutlery in the trays, and sauces on the shelves. Food was brought out in good time, was well presented, and hot. It was very tasty, certainly no complaints. We couldn’t eat it all and were given a box to take what we wanted home. Table was cleared quickly and we chose dessert. Ordered and served quickly. Really enjoyed the dining experience here. Will definitely be returning when we’re visiting Rugby again.

Excellent food and service.James was particularly helpful in changing components of the meal at ordering.We are now regulars for lunch a couple of times a month.

Although the meal was ok, the day was completely ruined because I had booked a table and on arrival someone else was sitting there. I booked it especially because one of my friends was celebrating her 90th birthday. This has happened before and I am very angry about it. We were trialled around the pub and eventually given another table. Not a good experience.

Had a great meal. Food was fantastic, came very quickly to the table. We all enjoyed it. The girl that we had serving us. Ashleigh was very good. Very polite, very friendly Would recommend to other people 😊

This is a terrible place the staff are very unfriendly and the food is not much better sent stuff back because it was over cooked and because of that they banned us because they couldn’t take the criticism of the crap food they gave us terrible food and terrible staff. Take note.

Excellent fish and chips * 2, a pint of Abbott and a large coke for less than £20. Oh, and friendly helpful staff. Highly recommended

Went for a family meal; the service was very friendly and prompt. Most of the meals were good, however I chose the mixed grill and the steak was probably the worst piece of beef I have ever seen on a plate. Even using the steak knife, I was unable to cut through it due to the amount of grissel. I mentioned this to the waiter and even demonstrated how impossible it was to cut. I'm still unsure whether he was seriously or joking when he said 'there's two choices, I can either get you a sharper knife, or get you a new piece of steak '. I selected the replacement steak. The second steak wasn't much better, although I did manage to cut a few pieces off; I had asked for it cooked medium, I would describe it as severely well done and barely edible. The rest of the meals, including deserts were ok; will certainly be avoiding the steak on my next visit.

It is the best food I have had. I had the 12oz steak. It also has the best staff especially Kieran he is always polite and very friendly with me.

Nice venue by the Avon (but sadly blocked by trees) with outside dining if you wish but at this time of year it’s best inside in the warm. Always a friendly welcome from staff who oddly never seem depressed. Kieran looked after us and never rushed us and always with a cheery smile and chat. As for the meal, good food, good value for money in a welcoming environment. Clearly we shall be going again.

I would say as an average cookie cutter hungry horse pub goes, the steam turbine is on the ascending curve of such things. You know what you are expecting to get with these chain pubs and as such theres not to much to surprise you....
