Okey food, average service,went for for a birthday meal.what a disappointment.booked a table for 6.when we arrived no table war available.and end up waiting 30 minutes

We have been here a number of times both for their fixed menu Sunday lunch as well as a la carte. Every time we go we end up leaving disappointed. The food is expensive and never quite hits the mark. It is often dry or has weird food combinations that just don't quite work. For the money, you expect more. In addition to this, after you order, they bring you bread and olives which are Devine, then at the end of the meal you discover on your bill that they charged you £6 for it without asking you if you even wanted it in the first place. The surroundings are wonderful though. I suspect the majority of customers are single non returning business clients rather than locals looking for a good meal. You are paying for the setting rather than the good food.

Take Notice.. Burgers were possibly smaller than McDonald's, thin and tasted plain. Handful of chips. Coffee, tried all types and all tasted horrid. Never again. Will return for beer but not food..

Brownsover RoadThe visit was very nice and the food and staff were both amazing as always. The restaurant was clean and neat overall and the sitting was comfy as well. I would mention our server Sophie for the evening. Very friendly and professional, spoke with our kids as well in very comforting manner, full points for her. Lovely visit as always

8-10 Castle StTreated my son to breakfast before the train back to uni. What arrived on my plate info kit know but it cannot be described as Bacon ?! Didn’t even try to eat it, no meat just fat.

1 KingswayUnless your a regular don't bother , came at Christmas, noticed for the kids entertainment regulars n main characters made sure regular children won prizes, did not help a local woman who was half drunk made it obviously clear while choosing the best 🙄. Was angry at time but was not worth arguing over a toy , but unless your face is regular will not bother , food was small but ok

Sawbridge RoadSaw a hunt meet there, so they clearly support fox hunting - which really put me off and also food wasn't great - have told friends, family and neighbours to avoid this place.
