Take Notice.. Burgers were possibly smaller than McDonald's, thin and tasted plain. Handful of chips. Coffee, tried all types and all tasted horrid. Never again. Will return for beer but not food..

Absolutely f*****g awful one particular staff member was extremely rude to me and my friends and for some reason just simply didn't want to do their job I asked what their problem was and in return I got death threats by the girl . Will never come back here again what awful customer service.

Wow. Went for drinks at way past my bedtime. Young crowd, love to get in fights and drink copious amount of booze. Loved it

Security guards are extremely agressive, rude and touchy and try to offer anyone they can out to a fight for no apparent reason they turn you away without any information as to why and just not worth the time at all

Probably the sleeziest bar in rugby, only worth going if you are a student. It feels like drinking in an abandoned wetherspoons

Terrible troglodyte bouncer immediately used an aggressive tone with us for no apparent reason, and turned our group away on a Friday night, and wouldn’t give a reason, saying ‘I don’t have to tell you why,’ despite all of us living near enough to change any clothing to meet the requirements of the place, which was, on a side note, completely deserted. Awful power abuser and won’t be coming back.

Food ok it is what it is , some members of staff very very rude and un welcoming. Will be avoiding this like covid.

Went out without a reservation during eat out to help out and the only empty establishment was this, (a warning I should of heeded). Beer tasted sweet and tangy; this is when a beer line has not been cleaned properly for a long time. I ordered steak which came uncompleted. My partner ordered macaroni, which comically consisted of penne pasta with watery white sauce poured over...I mean a joke. Its supposed to be baked in the oven. Overall the place has a 1970s soviet bloc ambience and tired decor.

Food is always good, service too however the pub is very scruffy, needs a good clean or/and need to be refurbished

Interior is in minging condition, loos ok but staff polite and food ordered were just fine.

Great food & drinks, you will need to ask for your table to be wiped on arrival though. I find this to be a constant complaint of mine. Otherwise great drink selection ad friendly staff.

This place is ok. Went here with 3 others on a Saturday evening 6pm, generally a nice place with TVs on the wall and a long bar, it's nice and warm in there as well which was nice. The foods not the best but it's affordable so that's good, I had a burger and it was not the great, the meat was hard for some reason but the rest of the burger and the chips were nice. If you want somewhere quite and affordable then why not pop in and see for yourself😎

Because the food reasonably priced but the ladies toilets weren't in a very good state. A couple didn't have any toilet seats or a lock on the door and some of them didn't have any toilet paper.

Music was rubbish and there was no atmosphere at all, only thing going for it was the cheap booze!

Normal Lloyds bar really, can be very slow service when busy with food. But affordable and quality is ok. Could do with one or two more staff to keep on top of the clearing and cleaning at busy times

Good beer but the pub is tired. Smell of old beer around the place like the carpets haven't been cleaned. The place was pretty empty when I went (early evening) but yet there was urine all over the gents floor. It appeared to be leaking from one of the urinals. I'll not be going back.

Smelly. Not busy and some lady sat alone singing. But the drinks were decent. A bit dear. Should have stayed as a Wetherspoon

Finished work early and decided to have a quick pint after long day at work but unfortunately the staff told me that they were closed! Was only 22:00 and the website says that they are open till 23:00! Should change the open times at the website if this is really true!

Came in for drinks with friends. Waited at the bar while the only staff member on duty ate dinner right in front of us and was visibly frustrated that they had to do their job and serve us. The floor is sticky all over the building. We played pool on the worst pool table in history. It was slanted, it didn't have all the balls, had marks and wet patches all over the cloth. We left after one drink realising our mistake. I will never come here again

It has changed hands. From Wetherspoons to something else. The ale was there but not kept well as my pint tasted tainted. It was cold & a bit gloomy inside. I wont be returning.

This place should now be condemned it's obismal really dire recently gone totally down hill disgraceful manager and unprofessional staff needs to be turned into a respectful rugby pub not a seedy dive and horrible venue

I quickly came in for a quick bite to eat, I ordered a steak and cheese wrap. I asked what it came with told me it was on the menu it’s wasnt and he had designed the menu. I showed him that it wasn’t on there. I asked for garlic mayo sauce no garlic mayo charged me 50p extra for mustard that you can help yourself too.. I ordered a side of garlic bread that didn’t come. The manager that was working told me it had cheese inside of the wrap clearly wasn’t any cheese. The man behind the bar didn’t really care about anything I’d said about. Said he would sort it. When my food came the second time I had half an onion on my salad. My garlic bread was soggy and was undercooked. I get you pay for value of money but this is disgusting no customer service. No apologies. Nothing. Sort yourself out!!!!

Another great breakfast! Value for money is superb. One lovely sausage, 2 meaty rashers of bacon, beans, 2 hash browns, tomato, 1egg and a slice of toast £2.99!!! A big mug of tea is 99p. All was DELICIOUS.

We decided to try as normally Weather-spoons is generally ok. The food was ok, although our starters came the same time as our mains, plus over cooked. The place was smelly and dirty, and in need of a good scrub. Staff were pleasant, just a shame about the place.

Decided to visit following the change from Wetherspoons. Planned on eating. Decided against it. The place is filthy and falling apart. Hence not eating. The carpets are black with dirt upto the toilets. The toilets are less than clean. Chairs have a lot of damage to them and are going threadbare. Topped off by the staff with some choice words overheard, quite blue language. Really unfortunately we won’t be back. :(

The places stinks, stale piss, damp and just generally revolting, the burger was horrible, I ordered one for me and my brother his came out pink, uncooked, the 2 members of staff that were there that day were great, helpful welcoming, they could better than work in a dive, should of stayed wetherspoons it's been awful since the takeover

There was a lot of people I get it but there should be more staff.

We came here again last week as food before was ok but really good now.most disappointing thing is the horrible gross carpet which is off putting to diners,please get rid of the carpet it smells awful.....

Typical Wetherspoons pub. Quite popular among locals. I was before midday an was quire busy - pension age ladies enjoying their coffies an socializing and on the other spectrum men in working age having tbeir ususl pints.

Beef burgers are back on the menu folk (About time too) Staff to be trained up properly ? And no running out of beer ? And get the carpet down the tip (F+"king Disgusting)

I stopped by for lunch on Easter weekend (Saturday) as I wasn't keen on taking my mother to Wetherspoons. It was a lovely sunny day & as I'm not local, I didn't know that what was previously Lloyds Bank, had changed into a pub. Thankfully there weren't many customers & we could eat chatter and take our time. That said, the food wasn't brilliant,sevice was slightly slow but on a positive note,the young girl serving behind the bar was cheerful & freindly. As was the young lad that cleared our table. Not amazing but not awful either.

Poor man's Weatherspoons, though it looks like they might be doing some limited redecorating. Clientele mainly smokers when I visited. The one star is because the food was ok and the staff friendly.

We called here for lunch whilst on a shopping trip to Rugby. The pub was virtually empty so we got our lunch order in quick time. We ordered ham, eggs and chips which was very tasty and well presented and for a reasonable price. It was good to see that the menu had plenty of choice of vegan meals.

Free entrance, carpet on the floor is glued by alkohol. Over than those. Quiet good

Went in for lunch on Saturday had classic burger very good big portions and nicely cooked. Service was poor staff chatting to each other constantly rather than serving customers.

Went for breakfasts with family on Sunday we all had a traditional and large breakfasts the food was hot,service was good and a lot quicker than wetherspoons will return for sure

Spent 20 minutes waiting to order breakfast just before 12am Saturday morning. Found a table full of dirty plates and took a seat whilst waiting for partner to order. Loads of tables full of dirty plates and no one clearing up. Eventually left after a man came in and got served even though My partner had been stood there 20 minutes.

It's amazing to see how this once vibrant Wetherspoons has changed since they sold it. The place was closed for refurbishment for weeks after Wetherspoons sold it. They appear to have installed the worst echoey sound system I've ever heard in a pub, put up a dart board, and made the carpets even dirtier and stickier. I've never been a massive fan of Wetherspoons, but seeing how this place has gone downhill, I now appreciate they at least know how to run a pub. On the plus side the food here is great (better than Wetherspoons), and the staff are friendly (if a little inexperienced). My advice to the new owners... improve the atmosphere, get the sound system and lighting sorted, and setup a better cleaning regime.

Severely understaffed for a Sunday afternoon

Went in this pm to watch England v South Africa. Place was empty. Why? Because you were only showing Wales v Scotland. You are a pub in Rugby which is England. No surprise you were devoid of customers. Other pubs packed. Why? Have a guess.

Tables was dirty even thoe it was nearly empty food was rubbish

as far as spoons go, this is a good spoons.

Gone down hill since Wetherspoons ceased ownership. No atmosphere, but the staff are pleasant. A good place to meet for coffee but certainly not a place I would go to for food or (alcoholic) drinks.

Where do I start ? No peas left, not enough popcorn chicken for 2 children's meals, ( which we were informed about 30 minutes after ordering and had to change our order ). Food took over 40 minutes to arrive, Chips were cold. Most of these would have been slightly acceptable if it were a busy weekend time but it was a quiet Tuesday lunch time. I counted 4 customers order food the entire time we were there. On a very lightly positive note. The bar staff were friendly and apologetic and the toilets were clean. I shall not be returning any time soon.

Cheap booze. Got to be a good thing
