Visited on Friday and dared to question what time the Act was on. Greeted? By the most Angry Agressive Man Ive ever met. I believe he’s the Manager? Michael. Shocking upsetting experience. Avoid at all costs!!! Ive spread the word

I would never go to this place again. Complaint was that the tickets for an act said 7.30pm and we were told act won't start till 9 -9.30 . Only a tribute act. They just want the extra money at the bar. When we complained, the owner was so rude and told us to leave, not good customer service. Avoid this place , who does he think he is talking to older women like that.

Princess tea party event taking my 5 year old granddaughter. Booked tickets in April and friends subsequently booked in May. After being seated in the furthest corner of the venue in pitch darkness, we asked for some light to actually be able to see what the food was we were eating. I then asked to be moved, the events manager lost it, and told me to P off as he’d rather we just left!!! This is a children’s event full of little girls dressed as princess coming to see princess’s and have a tea party. Mike who advised me he is the events manager was rude, aggressive and downright disrespectful swearing to not only myself but at an event like this. Disgusting is an understatement

Hello I just wanted to give you feedback on the Easter party for kids which took place last weekend. Ive given mybfeedback on skiddle and i will also do so on TripAdvisor Firstly, it was a kids party NOT a night club. The lighting was dark kids were hurting themselves dropping drinks on floor adults were tripping wasn't spacious. And who has alcohol and no teas and coffees in a kids bloody party. There wrrr kid's getting confused with their waters amd their parents vodka and lemonade. You should think twice about having a kids party Secondly, which pub in Coventry charges £5 for a can of hooch and £5 for budweiser. That is absolutely nonsense. You will loose custom alot 9f custom with your expensive prices for a HOOCH really? Thirdly, the events organisers were just eneteriners not really what they said in the ad where was the easter egg hunt. Adults had to wait 40 to 50 mins 8n a que to get their kids face painted wat a joke! One person doing balloons and one person doing face paint absolutely nonsense I for sure will never be bringing my kids back to rialto for anything you organise that's for sure. The reply I got see attached. Never going here again. Its a sick Chavy place

The show was great, funny adult humour…. The venue on the other hand was atrocious, the room smelt, the Bar shut with out warning then re opened, we bought drinks then the show finished we were told to leave! £4.05 for a small bottle of calsberg, no food on offer or snacks apart for popcorn .

Came to a comedy night here where most of the acts that were supposed to be on had pulled out but to be fair they had been replaced by other very good comedians. Security and bar staff were very friendly and I nabbed to get served very quickly. Looking forward to the next comedy event here.

Went for a comedy night last November which had been twice postponed, was just the worst night out I've ever had. Aggressive and rude door staff, ruined the entire night for us, never again would I set foot in the place. Management offered us complimentary tickets to come back for the same show because of how we were treated, I declined !

Anything to do with the promotion at Kettering and comedy in the park I wouldn't bother buying tickets in advanced

Went for brunch with 5 friends. The food was delicious and the service impeccable. As they didn't need the table for anyone else we ordered more coffees and chatted for a while.... until they were starting to prep Sunday lunch and that looked and smelled amazing. Would definitely recommend and will return.

Best service around. Food is delicious. Can't complain about music 😊😊😊. Definitely recommend this place

Terrible...never known anything like it. Me and my father in law have been looking forward to to Absolute Bowie tribute for a long time now...we were first on the queue waiting patiently 15 minutes early, we politely let a group of ladies jump in the queue first through the door which my father in law held the door open for...then to be told on entry he wasn’t coming in as he was to drunk! We had previously had 3 pints before hand waiting for doors to open at 7pm so not drunk whatsoever...the group of bouncers said my father in law could not stand up when clearly he could and not intoxicated hardly whatsoever as only just come out 45 minute prior. I asked for a refund which I was told no...I have never been so disappointed with a venue. I would not recommend Rialto to any future customers. I am local to this venue and both big fans of the David Bowie tribute which we came to watch. All things considered also with low volumes of punters due to scares of corona virus it seams bizarre then would turn people away for no good reason apart from the face does not fit. Will never return here, due to poor customer service...feel very let down.

Band was good, however having to wait in foyer as band did sound checks not good. No draught beer, limited bottled beer overpriced . Offer 4 330ml beers for £15 so not good value.A Lady got punched and security staff missed it. Then to add injury to insult... after a room full of people had paid to see a David Bowie night the DJ comes on and first 4 songs a reggae! The one genre Bowie never really visited! Come on know your audience.

Great band good music. Really good night but NO DRAUGHT BEERS GUYS. BOTTLES ONLY AND VERY LIMITED CHOICE. PLASTIC GLASSES and overpriced. Be aware before you go. Very doubtful if I went again.

A group of us have visited Rialto many many times and always have a brilliant night at this great venue. We have always found the staff really nice and helpful and have never felt threatened or seen any trouble. Unfortunately last night was very different ☹️. The night was advertised as a 90’s night but the music was all R&B/Soul and not what we expected. The night was advertised as over 25’s only but many looked far younger. The club have always catered for an older crowd but maybe now looking to change this? The club have removed the pumps so no more draught beer and the prices for drinks is definitely higher!! The removal of the pumps did not go down well with the men in our group. The staff behind the bar were not the usual friendly bunch either. There was obviously a lot of drug taking on the premises which we have never seen before and I was even told by someone in our party that a bouncer was seen taking drugs in the men’s toilets. Women were urinating in the men’s urinals and the atmosphere all round was not good. A friend of mine had to move to avoid two fights whilst waiting for a taxi. We do sincerely hope that this is a one off and not the way forward for this club, which we have always enjoyed and recommended over the last few years. This has always been a great venue and location for our nights out and we will be sad to have to look elsewhere. The removal of the pumps doesn’t help matters but if the club are now aiming to appeal to the younger crowd then we will have no choice but to look elsewhere.

This is the first time I have been here and I was very impressed. I love a comedy night and it’s great that Rialto have started getting some big names in. Seats are a bit close but we managed to spread out onto some empty ones out this could have been really uncomfortable. Great sound and amazing acts for the price. Bar ran smoothly and not too expensive. I will definitely be coming back.

Went to Rialto Plaza, Coventry to watch Martin Kemp behind the decks playing 80's Music, great night.

Went to a comedy gig. The act was epic! But...... the amount of people that stunk of weed (even after being searched on the door). The amount of people drunk and spilling drinks. Oh and the fact that the chairs are so tightly packed together that you can barely sit on your own seat, i think they forgot that people have arms too, couldnt even do shoulder to shoulder sitting because it was that tight. Ended up half on my seat and leaning forwards. Also the gig started an hour later than advertised.....with no updates from anyone.

I read the reviews about the food and music and was expecting it to be rubbish and to be honest apart from the quite rude door staff who could do with some manners it was a good night and no issues at all. I say its all about the company you keep as to the type of night you have but the food was spot on the music was good quality and i never waited too long at the bar at all so all round a very good enjoyable evening. It was a staff xmas do as after reading the views i had no choice than to go but glad i did and would go again.

I visited the venue with my colleagues, for the Xmas Party. The venue itself was not too bad but the food and service was very poor! The soup was so horrible! Too salty and hardly any vegetables in there. The main meal was bland and the potatoes did not taste great either. I know it’s difficult to cater for hundreds of people but a proper catering company should be able to achieve this, with better results. The waiting staff were did not even know if what they was serving was vegan or not.The photo booth on the other hand was well equipped and lots of fun.

Paid premium prices for the dream boys in September!!!!! The whole evening was a shambles!! From seating to drinks to waiter service didn’t get any!!!! A email was sent to the venue & no reply!!!

Bad venue for comedy. You couldn't see the stage. We were so squashed in you were touching people on either side and couldn't move your chair. Also huge queues at the bar.

Went to see Sean Lock 1/62019 and although he was brilliant (for half and hour!) the venue and the way it was set up was shocking! Nearly sat on the laps of the people next to me as was everyone else due to cramming as many people in a they could! Had to stretch neck to see the stage due to the way the tables were set out! To get a drink was near on impossible, very long queues and understaffed. Table service was a joke and with people’s hands up in the air meant you couldn’ see the acts. Hecklers not dealt with by the security staff, of which there were many! Overall would not like to go back which is a shame as they are getting some good acts, but really need to sort the venue.

Start off with the good - Sean Lock was amazing and so were his support acts (what I could hear of them over the constant chatter of other people).

Visited the Rialto Reborn, note it is not a restaurant but is now a night club.

Attended the Rialto on Saturday 30th March to watch the Dreamboys, upgraded my ticket which included a top table and topless waiter service. On arrival had to queue to be seated, looked around for the waiters, seen one tried to grab his attention but he just walked off, eventually went up the bar where the queue was horrendous and not many staff on, asked about the waiter service and was told that the waiters had been stepped down as the demand was too high and they were far to busy. I paid extra for this and upon ringing the Rialto to get a refund they knew nothing of this and after chasing the matter up i have now been told that they have had to take it up with the promoters, i have asked the question if anyone else has enquired about a refund and i have been told i am the only one, i cannot believe out of all the people that attended that i am the only one to ask for a refund after paying for something that i did not get.

Went to see the Dreamboys. Doors opened at 7.30. Had a queue to be seated up the stairs, with people pushing back down to go out for a cigarette. The bar queue was ridiculously large. Spent 45 minutes in the queue as the venue was full , whilst there were only 6 bar staff serving. This resulted in me missing the first dance. We had up graded our tickets to get waiter service but the waiters moved around the room, taking photos. Rialto staff said this was down to the organisers, not them. The toilets were gross. I have never been before and was really looking forward to going but feel disappointed. Speaking to friends who have been before who said events there are usually better managed.

Went rialto for first time drinks very expensive see security/bouncer man handle a women who was drunk security woman grabbed woman by the face and started shakeing her head then the man security grabbed her up and dragged women out no wonder she was sick everywhere although the woman was drunk she was sat quietly at table security came over ......security need to be taught some customer decoriume specially the woman security no manners

Was really looking forward to the works yearly party but we were all squeezed in so tight you couldn't move once you were seated. Food was OK and entertainment was average, when some of our party was standing at the bar they were told to sit back down and move away from the bar lol shame really as great location would not go back.

I have been here a few times now I went dec 2017 for a Christmas dinner which was your normal Christmas dinner. In 2018 been a couple of times for different tribute acts.

We came for the Xmas party night, was told to be there for 7 as food being served at 7:30 what food!!!!! Got our starter at 9pm which was cold soup with a freezing cold roll! Never got the main meal as by 10:15pm we decided to leave I’ve never been so disappointed with a night out especially it costing £35 per person there was no atmosphere no entertainment the disco hadn’t even started when we left, drinks were flat and expensive there was always a queue to the bar, when we asked to speak to someone we were told management not available and told to take it up with showtime live! Very convenient!! RIALTO do the right thing and give everyone who attended the Xmas party night on December 1st there money back! You have seriously just lined your pockets and not thought of the paying customer pure greed comes to mind! I will never return here again and will also be taking it further with showtime live. Anyone who has booked anything here cancel it and get your money back as you will only be disappointed!!!

Went to see Go West last night never having been here before. Check in was ok and body search minimal! Venue was larger than I expected and so was the price of the drinks!!! Taking the mickey or what??? A pint of Strongbow cider and 2 pints lemonade, (would cost around £1 from a supermarket?!), was £10!!!! Come on! That is a joke! We were given a table to sit at, no choice, and the sound was not good at all. Whether this is the acoustics of the venue, the equipment or the inept guy on the sound desk, I don't know, but it did not make the experience what it should have been for the price of the ticket, and drinks. While we're here, who put this venue on Tripadvisor as a restaurant?

Went for the first time to the 80's night. The atmosphere was really good and the music was ok. The place is clean and the bartender friendly.. a good night out..

Fantastic night of entertainment is was Heather at her best. The Rialto venue was really good and the staff made it very safe and friendly.

Attended a private function nice venue,very clean.Nice friendly bar staff only criticism for the gents you needed a route map to find it lol but when you've found it upstairs it was immaculate though freshly painted.

Went to see Heather Small, we were sat on a table with 4 other people who we didn't know but soon became friends! The support act rocked it and then Heather Small was amazing such a great venue to see her, small and intimate! Everybody was so friendly and a great atmosphere, will certainly keep an eye on Whats On as we will definitely go back and would highly recommend!

What an amazing night, myself and 3 friends went to see a Take That tribute act (I have seen them before at the same venue) however, I had the best night, free photo booth, support act and then rule the world, and a fantastic disco, all this for £10, 7.30-2.00am. I will be going back !!!

Food average canteen style stuff soup served from plastic jugs. The tribute act were two of the food servers singing along to laptop music - no expense spent on act. They would be OK as a support but not as the main act which people are being charged for.

Having read some awful reviews before our visit I was concerned as I had organised this for a group of friends so wanted it to be fun. On arrival the security as has been mentioned by other reviewers did seem a bit 1980's as the men were frisked and the womens handbags searched but other than that we got in no problem. There was a problem with our reserved table however, there were people sat on it and despite the young hostess attempting to find out why they were sat on it no progress was made and a table was quickly assembled at the back of the room for us with free warm bubbles for all at the table, a nice gesture but I would have preferred the table we had reserved,

Never been to the Rialto before (in this or any of it's previous guises) even though I've lived in the vicinity all my life and pass the place almost daily - it's just never looked that "inviting".

This place offers a fabulous experience for a fun party night. We visited as a group on a works Christmas Party in December 2016.

I will start with the positive, the room looked lovely when we got in and the band UB42 were very good, the main course turkey dinner was tasty. However it felt like I was going to an eighties nightclub when I was searched going in , there were far too many tables crammed in covering most of the dance floor, what was the point in extending the venue when you tried to get as many people in as possible. Also plastic glasses, really not a good look, sadly won't be rebooking for next year which is a shame as I went on a recommendation from someone who has been for the last 3 years and they won't be returning either.

I will never, ever step foot in this place again.We attended for our works "Christmas Do" on the 8th December for an 80's tribute night. I felt like we were treated like a herd of cattle, there were so many people crammed in, felt very claustrophobic and it was so noisy that I couldn't hear what people on our table were saying. The whole of the meal, in my opinion, was totally inedible, cold soup, turkey too dry, veg too hard and tasteless cheesecake. At £35 per head, this was not a cheap night, felt totally ripped off if I'm honest. I would not recommend this venue to anyone and I think the management need to re-evaluate the whole set up.

Came here for our "Christmas Do" with colleagues from work. I do not want to repeat what other reviewers have said - but I wholeheartedly agree with their comments regarding the "meal" - tasteless lukewarm soup & an unexciting slither of cheesecake. Must have waited nearly an hour between courses. The tribute band eventually started around 10.30pm. Drinks prices were extortionate! Bottle of wine £14 & a jug of "cocktail" £18! We had a good time dancing as we were with good company but sadly some idiots spilt drinks on the dance floor resulting in my colleague slipping and breaking her wrist. Why didn't the security men who were walking about sort out this stupidity by not allowing drinks on the dance floor and getting the floor mopped and a "wet floor" sign put in place....Health & Safety springs to mind. My colleague is in a lot of pain and her Christmas is ruined by this, not to mention the loss of earnings. We'll be going elsewhere next year.

Having attended Rialto on Friday 16th Dec for a work Christmas party I was not impressed.

I have been to the Rialto on a number of occasions, but this is the first time since refurb. I was furious at the way we were searched on the way in, my hand bag was searched fine !!! But Then I was frisked !!! who in the hell do they think they are the Police !!!!!!! In fact I'm considering prosecuting for assault. The soup was served in jugs and was tepid, the Christmas dinner served on tea plates, the pudding cheese cake, the alcohol was served in plastic glasses, Rialto you have got to be having a giraffe !!! Only good thing about the night was UB42 they were brill. Hence to say I shall not be returning unless we are treated with the respect deserved...........

We came here for our staff Christmas party - it wasn't cheap at £35 per head and the room held 450 guests. The information given said arrive at 7 for champagne reception, food would be served at 8 and entertainment would start at 9.30. On our particular night the theme was Motown. We were not let into the venue until 7.15 (all guests were searched) and tables were allocated. We received a glass of something fizzy (definitely not champagne) and were informed that the bar would be closed when food was served.
