brilliant serving by all staff , i’d like to say a huge thank you to poppy for her service today really made me and my friends feel welcome

To the bar staff that didn't believe me about starting a tab taking money, please see screenshot. Made to feel like an idiot when paying. Food was tasty but small portions. Soft play shuts at 6 so no point going with your kids for an evening meal. They even have a bar section for over 18s only, which you walk through from the carpark. Wouldn't go back.

The Unicorn is a good public house to go to for eats and drinks. There is a good selection of beers wines and spirits to choose from and the menu has a big selection of food to cater for most people's tastes. The Unicorn is a spacious public house with plenty of tables and seating options. There is a reasonably large car park and a pleasant outdoor and lawn area for eats and drinks. It's a good idea to phone and book a table if you intend to have a meal.

We visited the wacky warehouse. It was a really nice atmosphere in there. Then we had a meal in the restaurant This was a brilliant pub. Great staff. Very friendly Service was great.

Went in over Christmas and they got our order wrong. Also, they did not charge for one meal and therefore it did not come out. This was raised to the managers attention but they were happy to just refund our payment and did not offer a resolution to the mistakes they had made regardless of the fact that we had waited so long for the food. I would have understood if the place was full but it wasn't even half full. We took the refund and went to the Penny Farthing where we had a lovely meal. We eat out regularly and normally I would rate the the place highter but the customer service was a farce.

Came for a meal (Sunday dinner) today 26/1/25 at 4 o’clock must say it was very very nice meal was excellent. I would like to thank the chefs Tom, Corey and Jake and our server poppy would recommend it to anyone to come for a meal

Sunday football. Came in to watch Norwich city v QPR on Sunday 29/12/24. Nobody knew or could be BO to change the channels to allow me to view the scheduled advertised game. IE; Norwich city. Ellis tried but MANAGEMENT not bothered. Disgraceful

What an absolute disaster order taken wrong, wrong meals came out a meal forgotten or not taken down properly there were three of us it can't be that difficult, The Manager came over was not very helpful and then told us that we interrupted her that much that she couldn't offer us a free meal trying to gaslight us that we were the problem. Terrible service don't know what the food was like we'll never go there for a meal again. One out of the three of us had a meal we left and went to the Penny farthing.

Came in for a meal with my family the other day. Ive recently moved to the area and thought I would pop in. Phoebe made me feel very comfortable and made my experience enjoyable. She was very confident and polite. She also made sure my family was attended too. Will definitely come back.

Lovely festive meal yesterday Suzy the manager was very attentive Table laid out lovely , with Christmas crackers included . Food was on time and lovely and hot . Chef Tom did a great job

I ordered grilled Seabass here. Should have known better lol. Seabass was raw and soggy. Garlic mash was like it was powdered mash and well over done the greens were also cold. The whole meal was inedible. If you go here stick to the basics like burgers and you can’t go wrong. Shame as on the menu the Seabass looks good just a waste of £13.50

Food is not so good. Burgers are awful, dry, and overcooked burnt meat. Slow service.

Visited for lunch today with my friend. We meet up every couple of months. Very friendly staff & so welcoming. We had the 2 meals for £8.99. Absolutely lovely, so well presented & brilliant value. Service was great. All in all a fabulous afternoon. Will always return.

Great member of staff in the wacky. She made us feel comfortable during the 2 hour play. her name was Celine

Celine welcomed us very warmly. It was an extremely busy time, but Celine had time for everyone, ensuring that families were sat together, suggesting where we sat and ensured tables were clean. Food was served promptly. I noticed a little girl in front of me chose crisps that wasn't what she thought they were - and Celine invited her to take a closer look at what was available and served her very kindly once her selection had been chosen. Celine is a star and if there were "extra brownie points" to be awarded she would recieve those! Oh, she also sold me a month entrance card for my grandaughter so she us also doing you a good job!

Celine in the soft play here is absolutely fabulous like spinning plates she was helping everyone with everything a real fantastic asset to wacky warehouse and multi tasker to the business. And she is fabulous with the children so patient kind and caring.

I have allergies and they have a tablet which is easy to use Food very good would recommend

Just went for drinks nice and quiet during the workdays. Staff are friendly and helpful. This is a regular of mine when I’m in the UK.

Group of us went, the staff were welcoming and friendly if a little stretched..the food was really good. It did get busy but on the whole for my first visit there really good... tried to book for Christmas eve in the daytime for a group of us.. shame no availability online

The food was edible but nothing that would encourage me to go back any time soon. The place was empty on a Friday night, just a couple of other tables with diners. Good food deals.

Our plans changed and We arrived 2 hours early for our booked table . They were great And managed to fit us in . Great staff and amazing food . Kids love this place

I held my daughter’s 5th birthday party in the wacky and the staff was amazing I didn’t have to do anything all was done for me Ellie was a darling and the staff behind the bar after was all great.

Although not busy, service was very slow. My wife's seabass was good but although two attempts were made at the green beans, they were inedible. The flatbread served with my meal was like concrete but the rest was tasty and fine.

I took my family out for dinner and was I was served by a lovely young lady Phoebe who looked after us all evening she made us feel very feel very welcome and catered to are needs will 100% be coming back

It's a chain pub so the food is as all the others in that chain I guess, but its great value and it's always a decent meal. We go in the morning as a halfway meet with some friends and stay till past lunchtime, it's never too busy and they don't mind us taking our time. There are some quieter seating areas which we prefer. Always a pleasure to come here.

I go here whenever possible for the quiz on a Wednesday and it's absolutely brilliant it's never a dull experience and the food OMG it's incredible

Went to the Unicorn with family over the weekend. Staff incredibly kind and helpful, especially Lisa, and bent over backwards to accommodate one of our kids who had additional medical needs. Good basic food for about a quarter of the price of what most pubs charge these days! Will definitely be back

Came in for food on Tuesday and are sever Celine was really polite and bubbly she came over and check on us after we got are food to make sure all was all ok it was delicious and well cooked

I had a lovely time bringing me and my family for a nice weekend meal , atmosphere and food were great with some great choices for kids , I have to say one server in particular Phoebe was amazing and so kind and helping to make us feel welcomed , great night overall will be back soon !

I visited the unicorn wacky warehouse with my daughter, it was our first time visiting and she was a little shy. We were greeted by katie who was super friendly and made my daughter feel at ease, she interacted with her and made her laugh Before leaving my daughter gave katie a cuddle and said she will see her soon. Really nice staff at the bar and our server Celine really polite and checked in to see if our food was okay which it was really good! Nice steak and chips with egg which the egg was runny which I preferred so 10/10 thank you to chef Jake!

Took my two children down to the wacky warehouse and had a lovely visit. Katie was super friendly and helpful. She was great with my two boys helping them with the crafts. We enjoyed our lunch too. Food was piping hot and perfectly cooked.

We popped in on a Monday for an inpromtude meal. We had a smothered steak, the steak was cooked well , we have it rare, but the mushrooms were raw. They had obviously just been warmed up in the pepper sauce and not pre cooked prior to being added. We also had a child's pizza which was exactly as described, a child's jacket which unfortunately had been microwaved so the skin was soft and a kids katsu curry, the rice still resembled the shape of what ever it was cooked in (and not intentionally) and the chicken was cooked to within an inch of its life. The sauce had been heated but not stirred so had a nice skin on top . All in all the food was perfectly edible and cheap but there was clearly no care or pride put into it presentation.

My neice booked a large booking was told couldn't book by phone then had to do online. When got there was told only five was booked, we booked for around 20 people, attitude from manager was argesive and unhappful, we finally got seated then the food was mediocre at best. Overall don't think I would go back in future

No more coming here anymore.I make order for a rumb steak medium they give me rare so when i complain they take the first one and the second one give me a medium rare. I don't know who cooking here but him need to take more experience how need to make any steak 🫣 Don't waste your money in this place.

I had a wonderful experience at The Unicorn recently. The food was delicious, but what really impressed me was the service. My server, Ellie, was fantastic. She was friendly and attentive, making sure my experience was enjoyable. Thanks to Ellie, I had a truly enjoyable meal at The Unicorn. I'll definitely be back!

Always been a regular at the unicorn and seen a lot of changes over the years, but the unicorn has definitely been at its best I’ve seen, credit to the team and management. Bring the grandchild to use the wacky warehouse occasionally and again staff in there are so helpful. There’s something for everyone.

We visited on the 30th May with our little boy to have some lunch then visit the wacky warehouse. The food deal was amazing £15 for two main meals & a free kids meal. We then paid for drinks and a dessert for our little one. £26 !! Bargain. Great staff great food & great atmosphere. Be back soon!!

Food was mid. The Korean burger was very sickly and had too much sauce, the app is awful to navigate and has drinks listed that are not actually sold here.

I'm biased as I grew up in the area and spent so much time here with my family. I grew up and. Moved to uni and now live some distance away but when I'm home visiting I often take the time to meet here with family as we used to. So.. that's got to speak volumes. A solid pub very family friendly serves good food. Try it.

Visited the unicorn last night with family. We were really impressed and service was brilliant, a young girl called Brooke was there to greet us and make sure we were happy with everything. We will definitely be returning.

I regularly attend the wacky warehouse as a childminder and have always been greeted so warmly and made so welcome by Becky who works there . Nothing is too much trouble and she always keeps a high standard of cleanliness . We enjoy a lovely cappuccino every time we come . The children in my care always look forward to seeing her .

A very family friendly place, very lovely atmosphere. Very friendly staff . We went there for a few drinks and some food for our sons 18th birthday with some family and friends. Plus our son Ethan also works there . The food was lovely and there was a verity of drinks .

I am leaving this review for The Unicorn but especially for the waitress Taya for the outstanding service she provided us with, she seems such a bubbly, smiley and happy lady and the job she does is amazing. Oh the puddings she makes are absolutely delicious too.
