The Mill Brasserie & Bar in Coventry

Ordered a cajun chicken burger and It came undercooked. Just not to get salmonella, I showed it to one of the waiters and he said thats not looking good and ordered another one for me. Second one arrived with batter is all over in my plate and not looking appetizing. Bun was not fresh either. If i need to mention anything good that would be potato wedges.

All staffs are friendly, food were tasty but it was sooooo slow... wait for more than 20 minutes to get my lunch and don't know why it was served on a takeaway bowl...

Great place for pre and post match drinks, very nice atmosphere and bar staff are very friendly and welcoming

The service was atrocious. Food was not served to everyone at the same time and while some finished the meal, others were still waiting for their food. 1 person got their desert first instead of main. Someone was waiting on their drink for nearly 20 minutes. It would have been quicker if we were allowed to go behind the bar and help ourselves. Hilton should be embarrassed. Surely staff training is still a thing, right?

Terrible service, literally the worst service I've ever experienced, food was average, portion size was pathetic. Avoid if you can, unless you like sitting around waiting for entirety for massively overpriced average food and drink to show up. Hilton should be embarrassed, this does no favours for the brand.

Attended an event at the Ricoh Arena - there are limited places to eat. Annoying to have to order at the bar rather than table service, however the staff was very friendly and the service very good. The menu was the ‘events lunch’. Limited options. Lasagne was good, although a small portion. The superfood salad with chicken was excellent and a large portion. On the whole, pretty good for a captive audience and not over the top expensive.

Decent eatery. Decent beer. Limited menu. I gave it 4 stars because it's in a stadium/convention facility. I had the cheeseburger. It is not bad. My friends had the chicken sandwich which everyone thought was very good. The bar has a few basic spirits.

Good food on offer here, I had several meals here from the cottage pie to a steak all where good size potions and very tasty. Worth a tree if your staying in the hotel.

Lovely food, especially the Chickpea & Sweetcorn Veggie burger.. delicious. Only let down was the disappointing level of service in the actual bar. Less than helpful and not too friendly. I expected more from a Hilton hotel bar. But many Thanks for the nice food.

Had a Barnsley chop that was well-cooked and presented. Service is OK. It was very quiet when we were there.

The food, I had a lasagna, was perfectly acceptable but in small quantities and relatively expensive. Allied to a room like a barn complete with wholly unnecessary piped music, and a group at the far end making a lot of noise, and this was a fairly irritating experience. I was staying at the hotel, it was easy to eat here, but it was not a particularly pleasurable experience and certain pretty poor value. As an counter argument, And looking at earlier reviews, the wait staff were perfectly pleasant and things came pretty quickly.

Had the burger and fries before wasps v Northampton game , had food here before and it was always very expensive but ok . Today the food was truly awful the brioche bun the burger was served in was very cold. Like it had been kept in a fridge and forgot to be reheated ?? The burger itself was tough and over cooked yet also cold , as were the skin on fries it came with , literally no warmth in the entire meal , it also came out within 3 mins of me ordering it , which Is very suspicious !! After trying to return the food to the bar and make a complaint , after ten mins the staff could see I was waiting to return food and would not even make eye contact !!! Gave up in the end , what’s the point !! To say it was busy is an understatement , they need more staff on here , the only one who smiles and says please and thank you is a girl called Autumn . The rest are of the bar staff , are rude . Maybe this was a bad day for the team here , but every match day you can expect at least a 20 min wait to get served !!! And when your paying £8 a pint ! You would expect more !!

The restaurant looks great, really nice atmosphere. The food was served quickly and tasted great. I had a main and dessert and enjoyed both. Unfortunately the staff just let the place down. Upon arrival I asked the waitress a question about the menu. She answered my question and then as walking off said “I’ll be right back with you”. So we all sat at our table and decided on what we wanted and waited, and waited and eventually gave up and went to the bar. Turns out you order there. So no idea why she said that. I wait at the bar to be served after my colleagues and the guy who worked there totally ignored me and served someone else who just walked up to the bar. Was eventually served but the whole feel of the staff was not warm and welcoming. Also a medium glass of wine was £7. Very over priced if you ask me

The food was good but as is the case with many venue based operations, the prices are overly inflated. Of course, again due to the location, anyone attending a show/event at the Ricoh will be looking to lunch at a similar time. As a result, getting a seat and the time it takes for the food to arrive suffer. To their credit, they do well under the circumstances and the waitress who served us was very professional and friendly.

Why work with the public if you can barely raise a welcoming sentence? We popped in during a recent show which was being held in the hall, the Lady who dealt with us was to say the least unhelpful and borderline rude. £14 for a sandwich I guess is standard practice at places like this so a Brie and Bacon seemed fairly safe to go with, can I have the bacon well done please? No was the reply! Really? Yes, it's already made! at £14 a go I would expect something half decent and freshly prepared with perhaps a flicker of a smile. I didn't bother in the end, I'll take my business elsewhere.

We have our meal here every time we come and watch Wasps play (season ticket holders) The food is excellent and the table service is great, always with a smile. Sometimes, I’m told, the bar service can be a little slow but it does get very busy on match days and some people need to be patient. I like it here and the match day food choices are excellent.

Just off reception in the Doubletree hotel, is a great place to stop and eat. Warm welcome and quickly seated, with wine arriving equally promptly. Good selection of dishes but the 2 courses and drink is a great deal and my Pate and steak were really enjoyable.

We ate at this restaurant on our first night, the food was well cooked, staff excellent and friendly. The deserts portions are small for what they cost. Would only use this restaurant for convience and not ambience.

Stopped here for lunch, good enough and the service was efficient. The place was clean and tidy. The table we sat on hadn't been cleaned to well but it was very busy.

As I was staying at the Doubletree Hotel Ricoh Stadium, I took the time out to have a beer, whilst being a guest at the Hotel. Served with a smile and a great beer with good atmosphere for a business-style hotel.

Five of us had an evening meal. Service for us was fine. No delays, but they weren't busy. Each one of us had something different and all plates looked good. I had vegetable curry which was properly spicy. Good. We all chose from the £20.00 two-course menu.

Not busy, staff friendly but inexperienced, bartender’s first day. Took ages to get served and I was amazed that several tables were left with empty glasses and no one seemed to think approaching clients and offering them refills may be good for business ? Don’t be in a hurry !!

El restaurante se encuentra dentro del Ricoh Arena. Es cómodo y esta limpio. Carta de alimentos tipo fast food, sin nada que destacar.

Called in for warm up and drink whilst waiting for the match to start. Very busy and just managed to get a seat. Local beer great, sausage rolls stunning.

I use this bar every wasps home game, the atmosphere is great with home and away fans e enjoying the game and facilities, beer is good food is good.

Having spent a long day attending and covering an event at the arena, I was not looking forward to go out to find something to eat on the evening.Having booked into the Hilton, myself and a few colleagues decided on a light meal and a few drinks. The selection wasn't extensive but a good mixed choice, and when the food arrived was very tasty. Nice friendly staff and cozy surroundings, and a great way to relax after a busy day. Only slight gripe, I know it's attached to an arena, but I don't think plastic pint glasses are needed all the time.

Plenty large enough portions, nice bar area and the staff all friendly. Some of the items were a bit on the pricey side but all good quality.

I ate here a couple of times while stopping at the Doubletree at the arena. I tried the mushrooms on toast and they were excellent. I had the grilled salmon one night and it was cooked to perfection. The portion size was great and you don't need any additional sides with it. On the second I had the pork belly. Now I did have an issue as the first piece as it was very fatty. I told the waitress who took it away. The chef cooked a fresh piece and came out to apologise. I've eaten in far more expensive restaurants and ended up having a debate with the chef. Not in the Mill bar. The chef agreed and apologised. The fresh piece was cooked to perfection and never touched the sides. Great customer service and great food. Spot on.
