I LOVE ALI BABA COFFEE HOUSE!! I am a uni student and study here all the time, coffee is unreal, you can vape inside YAY and food is so good. Such nice staff, always got the tunes on 🔥 not a bad word to say literally going there today can’t wait, unreal environment literally gonna miss this place so much when I leave uni :(

This is where the locals go for a quick bite to eat. Breakfast was hot and filling and the coffee was good. The prices were quite low in comparison with other breakfast places around. Just make sure you bring cash!

This place is a gem - amazing food and an absolute bargain! We went for Sunday lunch and had the hit pork scratching from the bar with a pint. Then roast beef with the thickest gravy (gets thicker the later you eat apparently) crispy roast potatoes and a huge Yorkshire pudding. Lots of sides (cauliflower cheese was amazing) and finished with the sticky toffee pudding. We will definitely be back!

I recently had the pleasure of dining at Pickels, and I must say, it was an outstanding experience from start to finish. The moment I walked in, I was welcomed with warm hospitality and a cozy ambiance that set the perfect tone for a great meal. The menu offers an incredible variety of Indian dishes, each packed with rich, authentic flavors. I tried the butter chicken, which was perfectly creamy with just the right balance of spice, and the lamb Rogan Josh, which was melt-in-your-mouth tender. The freshly baked garlic naan was the perfect companion to soak up the delicious sauces. Beyond the food, the service was top-notch—attentive, friendly, and efficient. The staff took the time to explain the dishes and even recommended pairings that enhanced the experience. Whether you're a fan of Indian cuisine or trying it for the first time, Pickels is a must-visit. I’ll definitely be coming back to explore more of their menu!

Absolutely incredible customer service, made to feel very welcome, food was excellent though there was some confusion on my order I didn't leave disappointed regardless. Would highly recommend for groups or families.

Had a Sunday lunch here whilst on holiday, 5 of us including 3 very hungry children and a dog. Phoned ahead and reserved a table. Food was excellent, service very good and helpful. Chef catered for veggie kids with a veggie sausage roast, and thoughtfully sent out extra veggie gravy for us. The roast potatoes were amazing. Puddings all round were great. Great stuff, would definitely visit again.

A proper old-fashioned pub. 5 stars for food because lovely Michelle let us order a food delivery and provided plates and cutlery. Highly recommended, especially to any boaters passing on the Caldon Canal.

It is a small but lovely desert place. The staff serving was quite new so he made my crepe a bit hard(over cooked) but I only informed him. Otherwise it was lovely

i could not recommend a better curry place, food is always well packaged and hot , very tasty, and the delivery driver is so helpful and friendly

Fantastic menu item, good tasting food. Momos, Burgers, Sandwiches, Pani Puri, Chaat, Chaii and Boba tea were all great. Definitely recommended!! 👌
