10/10 place to go for a group lunch, it wasn’t busy, the food was absolutely amazing and the service was great - i would definitely recommend

We were on vacation from the States touring the UK and stopped here after visiting the Wye Valley. We found this amazing gluten free place and were very impressed by the staff and the food.

Only went in for cocktails, staff lovely cocktails amazing. Will return as food looked really good too.

Amazing experience and food is delicious and presented beautifully. John was very helpful teaching us how to use the grill and welcoming to an older generation too!

there’s a lot of options on the menu so i picked the ramen and shared the edamame and gimbap. i don’t think the gimbap was really authentic nor was the ramen, but im also just critical. my friend ordered the thai tea boba and she said it was too sweet and you could barely taste the thai tea. the service was overly prettier good, the waiters were friendly except we weren’t allowed to sit in the back even though no one was there? i think the barbecue is what people normally go for but i couldn’t say how hey are.

Our experience was spoiled by the fact we were sat on a huge table so far apart we couldn’t speak to each other, make sure your not sat on this table unless your party is over 15 , no fun at all

We came here last year for our annual Christmas family meal. It was so good, we came again this year. Staff were so lovely, very helpful and happy to explain the menu. Food was superb, you could really tell the high quality of ingredients, the beef was Herefordshire! Kids adored the mock-tails. I really hope more people support this independent restaurant, it’s one of our favourite restaurants. Thank you for a lovely evening 👌🏻

Lovely place and great people but if I’m honest, I’m not keen on the super small portions. we ordered the £50ish sharer for 2 and a side. I didn’t know the Ribeye steak came out frozen and wafer thin. taste was lovely but it just wasn’t my cup of tea.

Have been meaning to come for a few months. It did not disappoint. Had a selection from the bbq, sushi and small plates and everything was really tasty and special. Great atmosphere and friendly staff. Can’t wait come back, we really enjoyed our visit. Made even better that it’s proudly independent!

On a school break from Bristol, it was our first time Korean dining. The Manager and Staff were amazing guiding us through the BBQ process and the food was fantastic. We both loved the whole experience and evening. Although we were early evening walk in's I strongly recommend booking as we were lucky to get a vacated table. Thank you. 10/10 👏😋

Again a wonderful evening out, we hadn't booked so was lucky to get a table, recommend booking, it was busy, the staff were friendly and told us that there was a little wait on any Sushi, we saw food coming over the pass looking fresh full of colour, a good sine of good food, when our came we were not disappointed. I recommend you give it a try, were the Land of the rising sun, has found a home in Hereford.

Edit: The manager has been in touch to refund our deposit. He kindly apologised for the error and for the fact they were short staffed due to sickness. I would happily eat here again. Food was excellent and we had several different servers who were all very pleasant, however service was very slow. When ordering extra drinks they took a long time to come. When requesting to see the dessert menu they eventually brought 3 menus over for our party of 8. When we asked to order dessert we were told they would have to check with the kitchen since they were very busy. The restaurant was about as busy as you would expect for a Saturday evening but seems they didn’t have enough staff. Deposit was £10 per head so we were already at £80 on arrival and you do not get that taken off the bill.

The food and service were excellent. Never tried a Korean BBQ before and was delighted. We were in Hereford for the day and this dining experience was the highlight. Would highly recommend thus restaurant pity there is not one nearer to where we live.

We had an awesome experience at En BBQ. Lovely atmosphere, the staff were very friendly and the food was amazing. The chocolate fondant dessert was so delicious we went back the next evening for dessert.

Called in with my family for lunch on Friday 09/06/23. It was our first visit. Initial impressions were good; the restaurant is nicely decorated, very clean and tables had been cleared / set ready for customers arriving. Service was prompt and efficient. Our server, named Gee, was excellent. The food was well prepared, nicely presented and tasty. I have dropped one point only because the food is a little pricey. I would return and can recommend.

Korean BBQ has no business being this expensive. Everything you see on this table adds up about 90 pounds and it wasn’t enough for 4 people. We had to order 2 more dishes and it added to about 170 total, which is 40 pounds per person and is ridiculous. Most Korean BBQs I’ve been to across multiple countries would offer the same for half the price if not a third. The 2 people menu bbq has a really small portion size. I wouldn’t come here again. However the staff are super nice and that’s the only reason I’d give 2 stars

The price:portion size ratio is pretty poor on the bbq. The fried rice bowl was a decent size for the cost. Nice staff.

Really enjoyed our meal here. The Korean dumplings were fluffy and crispy, the K-Pop chicken and yasai salad were delicious, and the bibimbap super tasty. We also had the coconut chocolate tart, which I particularly appreciated as I can't do dairy and it was vegan - also delicious. Great service and all in all we're really glad we chose to eat here on our one night in Hereford. Thanks, En!

Best birthday for hubby! We loved this place! It was clean, the service from John was perfect. Everything regarding cooking the food was explained and the cocktails were divine! It was a cold, wet day and crispy cauliflower florets cheered me up! All of the food was super fresh and it was a brilliant experience! Highly Recommend! x

Attended for a work function and couldn’t be happier. The whole experience from start to finish was fantastic. The food was out of this world, only topped by the friendliness, politeness and top notch service from all staff members. An independent asset to Hereford!

My fiancée and I have eaten at the restaurant many times. Each meal has been fantastic, fresh tasting produce and great variety. We have just ordered our first sushi takeaway from them too - again so fresh, so tasty! Perfect, as usual. Couldn’t recommend more!!

First time visiting here and we booked last minute for our wedding anniversary on a Friday night, the staff were so friendly and helpful explaining the menu. We went for the first class meat platter to cook on the hot plate which was so different and sociable, the wagyu beef was like butter! We also had sushi on the side which we could tell was super fresh and well made! A perfect dining experience and we left merry and full, will definitely be back soon!

We have made a very fond acquaintance with Peyman, and all of the team at EN BBQ. We popped by this afternoon whilst shopping in town, and the food that we received was of the absolute highest standard. Every element of the dishes we received were impeccable. This stretches from the speed of service, to the freshness, presentation, and temperature of the dishes. You will struggle to find a more welcoming establishment in the whole of Hereford. Hats off to you, EN BBQ!

Great cocktails and fantastic food. Thankfully, the menu has fries for our little fussy eater. We felt looked after, the staff were attentive but had that perfect balance with giving us space. Also noted a very good communication skills, staff accommodated us without reservation and made clear that we weren't under time pressure

I love the food here! We were a large party and they accommodated us well. Service is very friendly. The only thing was we wasn't offered deserts as the kitchen had closed by the time we had finished our meal. So with that in mind if you are not eating until late the kitchen is shut by 9.30.

One of Hereford’s treasures - the food is incredible, the staff are attentive and super friendly and the drinks (cocktails in particular) are delicious! It was very busy on a Saturday night when we went, yet there wasn’t a long wait for the food. Couldn’t of asked for a better experience. We will be returning soon, and soon after that!

Service was excellent, friendly and all on time and polite. Cocktails were fabulous we all enjoyed them. Loved the food and Sushi was great and fresh and BBQ was also just excellent quality and freshness and tasty. Not cheap but well worth a visit for a special occasion. Matcha tirimisu was also yummy 😋

My husband and I LOVE coming here. We are vegan, so unfortunately, we can't partake in the BBQ side of things. However, the vegan options they have are fantastic and plenty! They update and change their menu often so there is always something new to try. We are coming for Xmas Eve dinner and loved the look of the festive menu they have on. I can't wait to try it all! The staff are always so friendly and helpful and the restaurant has a great atmosphere. The restaurant itself is nicely presented and always clean and comfortable, highly recommend!

“Best meal I have ever had”. Where do I start… the flavours and spices were absolutely amazing. Great selection of meats and sushi. Staff were very friendly and went above and beyond. We came from London on our holiday and only wish we had something similar local.

First time visiting and this place was amazing! The staff were so friendly and attentive. The food was really tasty and beautifully presented. We had a mixture of sushi and the bbq and we couldn’t fault anything! Can’t wait to go again.

Food was beautiful, delicious and well presented. Staff were attentive and helpful when asked. Our only gripe as first time customers is they did initially assume we knew how to order and what to expect. But its hardly a fault as we should definitely have asked also!

Amazing, attentive service. Food was delicious. Wagu beef was especially yummy and it was just a really fun way to eat and enjoy a night out. Well looked after and had great fun in a lovely atmosphere. Owners were chatty and informative about the food but the whole team were friendly and helpful. Thanks En BBQ. We will be back. We've really enjoyed takeaways from En Sushi in the past and have now visited En BBQ a couple of times. The food has been excellent - we've tried the Korean BBQ, some sushi and other items off the menu. They have a good number of Gluten Free options too, but I'm always keen for more :) The staff are a great bunch - friendly and attentive. They were busy both times we visited, but they set expectations with regards to speed of food and drinks, so we just relaxed and enjoyed the ambience until the food arrived. We'll definitely be back to the restaurant and for takeaway.

Excellent night - it was our first visit and all the staff were both friendly and helpful. We opted for the BBQ menu and they explained the BBQ ( built in to the table) and the options for the food we ordered. We will definitely return.

Omg what can I say. Amazing place. I took my girlfriend (Her birthday) and her 13 year old son. The food was out of this world and worth every penny. My step son love the fact that he could cook his own beef at the table. The staff were unbelievably friendly and very knowledgeable which put us at ease. This place has to be one off the best places to eat at the moment. A big well done to all at En sushi / En BBQ 👏 👍😁 one happy family.

Had a really great time and a great meal here. Staff are absolutely brilliant, decor and ambiance are both excellent too. Food is really fresh and tastes good. Prices are high though, and not sure it warrants it as whilst it's good, I wouldn't say it's totally "authentic" (한국에서 5년동안 살았습니다). Like a small bowl of watery, unmatured kimchi at £4.95 is a bit much, £9 for a small can of makgeolli, etc. I get that good food doesn't come cheap, but there should be a balance. 앞으로 또 헤레포드에 가게 되면 한번 다시 방문하갰습나다^^

First time visiting En BBQ after regularly getting takeaways from En Shushi before they moved. We didn't try the BBQ but instead had sushi which was delicious and tried a few new items especially enjoyed the pancake starter. Cocktails were great and friendly quick service.

Delicious Korean food, nice atmosphere and superb service.

I went alone and the owner sat me in the big table with initially was ok but then a big group sat in the table as well. I was very uncomfortable to be seated alone with a big group of people around and all watched me eating. For solo customer is always better to have a small table for yourself. The food was good but I wanted to try the Korean BBQ. But the only option is to order 2 meats which is far too much food for one person. I think that is a point of improvement because I came for work so I was traveling alone so should be a better options for one person. Finally the waiter was really nice and did a good demonstration of how the bbq works Hope that the owner can take this tips for next time accommodate better solo customers

Lovely ambience. It was a shame that you had to order 2 meals to use the BBQ - I'm vegetarian and there were no veggie BBQ options when I went. I ordered the vegetarian bibimbap and it really wasn't anything to write home about, unfortunately. Will try this restaurant again and try other things from the menu.

Best meal I’ve had in a long time! The meat was tender and incredibly flavoured, all of the food was absolutely delicious and the service was fantastic! It isn’t a cheap option but definitely somewhere we will visit again for special occasions and in my opinion worth every penny!
