Probably the best burger I've had. Staff were also very accommodating given that we hadn't booked and it was a busy Saturday.

We live nowhere near but have called in twice when on our travels after trying their smash burger recipe shown on Saturday Kitchen. We've also ordered a burger kit from them online & all that was left to do was visit the restaurant. We've now been twice, both times the service was brilliant and the food was divine. It's definitely worth a visit 👌

My favourite place to grab a burger in Wales - absolutely fantastic 🤤 The food is comparable to that of Hull/Yorkshire based 'Dope Burger' which was voted Britains best takeaway a few years ago. Highly recommend.

We sat outside as we had the dog with us. The burgers were very tasty and we shared some fries which were very tasty and enough for 2. Our dog was offered water by another member of staff not the one who took our order. Food took a while to come and the bill took even longer. The dog was getting restless so I went in and asked for it. Would like to sit inside next time as it looked very nice.

ABSOLUTELY INCREDIBLE! My partner is a burger chef and has been waiting to come here for ages. It was amazing. Everything cooked to perfection. We added extras like a cheese skirt and having the patties Oklahoma style and it was well worth it. The staff were brilliant and noticed when we were low on drinks. Cannot fault a thing, will be back as soon as we can! Shout out to Maz & Louie for being brilliant servers. Especially Maz for giving me loads of little bits to take home for my scrapbook!

Superb experience at the Beefy boys, table of 6 all fed very well, burgers were insane and the staff were attentive!

Arrived for a meal for my daughters birthday 5 of us but my booking wasn’t there, my fault as obviously hadn’t confirmed it properly. Kai who greeted us went above and beyond to find us a table it was outside he gave us blankets and put the heater on. We had amazing food and a wonderful evening. Kai was the kindest person I’ve met in a long time, the world needs more people like him. Fantastic food and phenomenal service, couldn’t recommend this place highly enough. Thank you!

Food is outstanding and they will try to adapt things eg Gluten free buns, Salad for a low fat option etc plus doggy bags to take excess home. 10% Bluelight discount if you have one.

I enjoyed a delightful meal at this establishment, and the burgers were both delicious and met my expectations. Although it was quite busy, the service was prompt. I did not try the desserts, but I found the selection of beers on tap to be satisfactory. Overall, I was very pleased with my experience.

Amazing burgers, but I could feel my veins clogging up with each bite. I understand this isn't diet food, but please tone down the oil/butter for a perfect score. Millionaire fries also had too much truffle oil on them.

Visited last night as a group of 30. This was my first visit to Beefy Boys and was very impressed. The staff are energetic and friendly. The whole layout of the place and the decor is warm and cosy. The burger is probably the best I have ever tasted. I had the dirty boy, poutine fries finished off with a strawberry milkshake and I was left in a food coma. The restaurant was busy and despite us being a group of 30 the staff got our order spot on and nothing was too much trouble for them. We will definitely be returning in the future.

I grew up in Hereford but live in London now… have been coming here whenever I’m back seeing family though as - with a limited selection - it’s always been one of the best places to eat in Hereford. We went tonight and it feels like they’ve got a bit big for their boots. Service was incredibly slow and front of house was just quite un-accommodating. Distinct vibes that they thought we should be grateful to be eating there, which in a burger joint that’s basically only as good as a standard London burger restaurant you find everywhere in the capital, is not really on. Also feels like they’ve changed the buns for dryer ones and burgers were a bit salty. Sorry, but you’re not that good guys… will revert to burger shop rule of tum when I’m back next time.

Great place for food, excellent burgers and sides. Service from the bar was a little slow, and a few drinks that were asked for never made it to the table (were not on the bill either, so was missed by waiting staff). Food came out quickly and was of excellent quality. Will come back.

100/10 You pay for what you get! i would highly recommend beefy boys to any and everyone. I did wait in the same queue to collect my food as people wanting to sit down and eat so better signs could improve this waiting time.

Absolutely amazing "proper" burgers ie. you can tell it's just minced staek). Lots of choices in terms of the type / size of patty, the dressings and add-ons, and just about everything else. Choice of "proper" chips (ie not fries) with various toppings (or none at all). Modern, energetic vibe. Great people and great service. Thank you Simon!!

Had many beefy boys over the last few years and it's always been lovely but they've now changed their roll supplier and it's completely ruined the entire burger. Whole burger completely overwhelmed by bread, almost stale in comparison to the old buns that were used. No shine to them was almost like eating a loaf of bread with the difference in texture between the old and new buns. Tried twice in the same week incase the first one was just a bad day but it was the bun that let it down both times. The fries have also changed and tasted like greasy/chip fat kebab shop cold fries not the high quality crispy fries that were served before and retained the heat. Unfortunately saving a few pence here and there between items by changing bun supplier/fries has ruined it for me and won't be returning again now the food has gone from 10/10 to a 5/10 at best.

We travelled with the purpose of visiting this restaurant. The ambience and service were superb the menu extensive. Personally I felt that the food (burgers and chicken strips) was more deconstructed slop than layers of flavour with an edge; they used processed cheese and the chips were tasteless. We loved the pornstar martinis and milkshakes. The bill didn't reflect our experience. But we are glad to have visited. Thanks for the memories.

Gorgeous food and really caring and attentive staff. We visited here for my son’s 3rd birthday and all loved the food and dining experience. We had booked a table in advance but arrived slightly early due to our two hungry children, however the staff were able to accommodate us without issue (despite it being relatively busy) and were really friendly and attentive. The burgers were incredible and children’s meals generously portioned. We also shared some loaded fries and chicken strips, both highly recommended. The staff were more than happy to provide us with takeaway containers for the leftovers. Thank you all for providing a great birthday meal.

I heard a lot about BB's , and went after going to the Light show at Hereford Cathedral . Martyn was very good as it was our 1stb time he explained this that and the other. Enjoyed what we had, will probably be back again . Thanks once again. Ken🏴󠁧󠁢󠁳󠁣󠁴󠁿

Great burger restaurant. Absolutely brilliant with allergies - their knowledge and attention to this was better than most places. Really can't fault them. The burgers are delicious, the loaded fries also. Great drinks menu too. You probably need to book to get a table but only a day or two in advance for a weekend.

Couldn’t fault the food at Beefy boys! Nice informal atmosphere, very busy for a Monday night. Nice seating and table separation, ask for a booth if there are 3 to 4 of you. Good choice of style of burgers, thick n juicy or smash etc. I had the Smash Blue Boy which was perfect, friends had other options which were the deep patty blue and the bacon one. Plain fries plus bacon fries to accompany them were perfect, we had 2 servings of fries between 3 of us - the bacon ones were our favourite. I am a visitor to Hereford but will definitely go to the Shrewsbury one which is closer to home!

Absolutely amazing food, food arrived within 20 mins it usually takes a lot longer, food was amazing, I got the pizza boy, bacon fries and Mac n cheese balls, and that did fill me right up, I would 100% recommend this restaurant if you want a nice greasy burger 😍, I went here with my colleagues a while ago, and it was very good

We had to sit outside as it was so busy on a Saturday night. We should have booked so learnt from that mistake but they were able to accommodate a walk in. Luckily there were outdoor heaters and lights but it did get cold as the night progressed. We did visit in October! Food was so tasty. We ordered sides, burgers and loaded fries. The refillable soft drinks were appreciated too. Service was slow and the wait on the kitchen was about 30 mins but they were really busy for a Saturday night. As the wrong order came out for us originally, the waitress gave us a discount and also for having to wait in the cold for so long. So not so bad after all. Appreciated some hot food! Definitely coming back in the future and will book a table first!!

Burger nirvana. Perfect Oklahoma-style burger with those elusive just-right lacy edges. Great service. Really good & interesting sides, too. And some great soft-serve at the end. 5 stars, 10/10, 100%, etc. Just go, order a burger & enjoy true happiness in a difficult world.

Amazing Every time. Worth the Drive

As newcomers to Hereford, this was our first and eagerly anticipated visit. We received a warm welcome and were shown to our table. There's a huge choice from the menu and I opted for the Dirty Burger. Our server Sunny was lovely, and super friendly. It's not often that the food actually served in a restaurant matches the photos in the menu, but the Beefy Boys burgers do, and the burger tasted amazing - the best burger I've had in living memory! We couldn't resist having a sundae for dessert, and that too was the best I've had for ages. We'll be making a return visit soon!

Best Burger you're ever eat, good variety of ingredients to fulfil every taste. Knowledgeable helpful staff, great atmosphere and reasonably priced, also accept Bluelight card, result.

I ordered for collection over the phone and was told to pickup up 8:50pm, got to the restaurant and ended up waiting another 30 minutes for my order. When I reminded a server of my order, I saw that it had been just sitting there. I understand it can be a busy restaurant but it was near closing at this point. Really disappointed because my food is now cold.

You can always rely on The Beefy Boys - in my experience it's always a consistently great experience.

Order number RQW366J As a business owner myself clients come first… not in beefy boys case! Ordered a collection to take away The Nashville chicken strips where so bad I threw them away. Bland & soggy. Infact they where so soggy the batter coating had peeled off & in the bottom of the tray. Burger was burnt, my partners was dry. The chips we ordered was ok. Missing the ranch dip and baconaise, super rough place I should have put my £50 else where. Crap!

Tried the Beefy Boys van at Malvern Autumn Show. Long queue and then 40 mins wait after that. Amazingly worth it. Never tried them before but the bacon burger was probably the best burger I've ever had. Next year I'll order at 11am rather than queue at 1230. Wish there was a restaurant in Cardiff.

We did have a nice time there. My burger was extremely greasy but was still very tasty. All the staff were happy and friendly so top marks there. Check your receipt as they overcharged us by £12.

Doesn't get much better than this place, our first time trying it and the quality was stupendous. Really reccomend going without any extras, the burgers are tailored so that all the ingredients go together, the service was super friendly and there's a real feel good factor about the place. Will 100% be coming back.

Heartbreaking for me to have to write this review of what was always my favourite restaurant, not just in the world of burgers, but tonight's visit is as bitterly disappointing. We've been visiting beefy boys since they opened in Hereford all those years ago and have enjoyed watching the brand flourish. We've always been consistent in our orders, albeit encompassing various changes the business has made over the years, but essentially, the bulk of the order always remained the same. Double thick blue boy for me, smashed beefy boy for the Mrs, bacon fries and Mac and cheese balls for a change and, god only knows why, ninja chicken strips in place of our firm favourite chicken wings. The burgers were salty, and absolutely dripping in grease. The bacon fries were changed up from the quality we used to expect, bacon dust replaced with some minced bacon?? I don't get that change at all. The Mac and cheese balls were decent , but those chicken strips? Massive disappoinment. I hear they are to bring back the wings though, I'm assuming due to the upheaval they faced from die hard beefy boy fans like us. Service was okay, if not a little slow. Kids eating free was a great bonus and the nipper enjoyed her food. I'm very aware that I'm being a tad bit harsh here, but that's only because I know how great beefy boys used to be, and could be again

Two burgers and chips for £30. They were nice. No complaints.

We stopped overnight in Hereford en route elsewhere specifically to eat at Beefy Boys and booked well in advance. Quite a disappointment. The greeting at the front desk was bored. We were shown to a terrible dark table stuck between two waiter stations. The room was half empty at this point. I should have requested another table. Unfortunately this spoiled the experience hugely. The food was very good, as expected. Despite being in close proximity to two waiter stations we struggled to get the attention of staff for further drinks orders. They spend a lot of time chatting to each other rather than scanning the room. Good food, below-average dining experience.

First visit a couple of weeks ago with a party of 5. We selected a range of Burgers from Lonely to Chilli Boy. Delicious. Millionaire fries also excellent. Lives up to the hype. Will return!

After the slight altercation with allergens they have taken great care of the situation and made sure it will not happen again, which I am very happy with. On another note, the food was brilliant and amazing service from all the staff. :) thank you for such a good deal and evening. And bigger thank you to all the staff!

Great great place. Amazing quality food, not even just their burgers which they are known for but their fries and sides as well. Especially recommend the Mac and cheese balls. Service is nice enough, the do get very busy so sometimes have to wait for servers to come back around to check on you. Prices are somewhat high but you pay for the quality and experience.

I've had some amazing burgers in my time, but as they have become pretty mainstream these days it's rare to find somewhere that really impresses. Beefy Boys is an exception to this, literally one of the best burgers I've ever had, and excellent service too.

Was in Hereford for a parent visit to the college, an hour away from home. Popped there on the off-chance they had a table. Even though we hadn't booked and they were really busy (even though it was a Wednesday evening) they found us a table. Burgers were excellent, juicy and full of flavour and the millionaire fries were excellent. Service was great and the front of house host was really friendly and chatted with us as we were leaving. Will definitely be going back.

Living in London, I’ve had my fair share of burgers, I got this as a takeaway with family half cold when I eat it (we took too long to get home) and it was honestly one of the best burgers I’ve ever had. Will be back for a sit down burger experience, totally worth every penny

Cold food served by miserable staff. We were hungry so ate and left. We were there for a birthday which is why we booked and the booking asked specifically about why you are visiting. No one welcomed us properly or mentioned the reason for the visit. Even though they clearly had requested this information. Crap.

Was driving from Northern Ireland to South Wales so took the opportunity to drop in for our first ever visit to The Beefy Boys and we weren't disappointed. Burgers were excellent as were the loaded fries, free refills on the soft drinks and great service. Highly recommend.

Excellent place to get a burger. Very good service and environment as well. Simple but intriguing menu and options. Make a reservation as this place is very popular. Walk- ins are usually not successful during weekends. Price is slightly high but worth the premium.

Cheese Burger was so salty I couldn’t taste what was in it. It took 25 minutes after order not including the previous 12 minutes to prepare a table “without a menu” . The restaurant wasn’t busy (approximately 15% clients) staff numbered more than clients. My reason for visiting was I read an article that Beefy Boys won a business award. In my experience this was born out in the product or service which incident I was charged 8% extra service charge.The Resterant aesthetics were quite impressive though which I guess was rendered in the bill for £21.06 for one small cheese burger and a strawberry milkshake. If the Beefy Boys review this my message is “go back to basics” and carry out a mystery client audit. If you review my TripAdvisor Reviews, I think I’m qualified to give some friendly advice. Went here for the first time honestly was so delicious brilliant food good quality lots of bacon fries it had lots of flavour, salted caramel sundae was tasty lovely staff and well worth the money

Not what it used to be since the expansion into the old frankie and bennys. Slightly too commercialised now almost too big, so the food isn't what it was when the guys first started with the smaller shop.

Booked a table there for Bank Holiday Monday (26th August) back almost a week beforehand. Tried to call several times before arriving to confirm the booking and then found out when I got there that there was no table booked in my name. We did get a table (for 2) but the menu font was so small could barely read the font and couldn't see specific prices. Not very suitable for visually impaired people like me! Left before we ordered. I had been there before pre COVID and wasn't overly impressed with them back in 2018 in terms of quality. Not worth the effort despite their "reputation".... never going back there again!

This place was highly recommended to us. When we got in we were sat quickly (we had booked). The staff gave us the menu and explained it as our was our first visit. Within about 20 seconds they were back asking for drinks and certainly before we had a chance to pick up the menus. We asked for mire time and must have had much less than 1 minute before they were back. Again asking for more time. Felt they were in a rush to sit us and get us out. Food. This was generally good. Between us we had 4 burgers both beef and chicken and four types of chips. The chips with truffle oil were poor. Rest fine. However, given the cost I have had equally good and better with more food for less. It feels like they are costing and coasting on reputation. It was also the only place I have been to in the last few years to add a service charge. Again, it appears money on reputation is focused on. Overall, all food was good but overpriced, and service was on the poor side.
