Loved it! Great service, amazing choice of burgers, everything delicious - will definitely be back. We tried the PJ Boy (peanut butter & jelly - it works!!) and Dirty Boy burger with Parmesan & Truffle fries & Baconaise Fries, patties beautifully cooked, tasty & juicy with plenty of filling! You can add also extras. The truffle fries were very subtle, but I love truffle so prefer a stronger flavour, but were nice nonetheless. Really friendly staff who took the time to explain the concept. Basically you can select the type & number if patties you want so big meat eaters will love it! American diner style booths & tables, with accompanying decor. Clean WC's on the first floor which has further seating. Really great experience.

Good service, too busy for me, didn't like holding a long queue of people while a number of tables are available. Burger is ok , not wow.

Always on the lookout for a great burger place and Beefy Boys is just that! Brilliant service, excellent atmosphere and most importantly impeccable burgers, some of the best in the UK easily - would highly recommend.

We booked lunch here for a family Birthday and we were not disappointed! The food was awesome, the service was ace - just the right combination of attentive but not intrusive and the atmosphere was fab. Thomie and Louie are a credit to your team and we will definitely be back!

Very unhappy with table of 7, 2 meals brought out, these nearly finished without cutlery when part of other orders came , just a complete mess from start to finish but they did take off the table service charge lol .

We travelled some distance to visit the Hereford store, we had to wait outside at the podium for someone to seat us, we waited a few minutes then went inside where we were cut off at the door and told to wait outside and someone would be with us, which they were after another minute or two, it was circa 1C outside so not ideal. we were rushed to our seat so he could get back to the podium for the next customer, it didn’t feel the warmest welcome I’ve ever had. We ordered, the staff member we had didn’t seem particularly knowledgeable about which type of burger ie Oklahoma etc would work best with our meal (as the book does), we ordered our food, had a great milkshake, a good burger (but probably compatible to five guys) and terribly dry shrivelled up chicken wings and there chips were very average pizza shop chips once you’d taken the top layer of seasoning off. It’s a great business from the outside with fantastic marketing but regrettably they failed to deliver to the hype and it was an underwhelming experience. I have to say I’ve had more joy from their book which id thoroughly recommend, if your local to the restaurant, sure give it a go, but don’t travel as I did thinking you’re going somewhere special as my experience just couldn’t let me say it is…

An amazing spot for great burgers. Their burgers are to die for. Amazing taste, great service with a very comforting ambience. Ordered a Chilli cheese boy which had different types of cheeses and the burger was huge. Struggled to finish the burger but was so good that didn’t feel like leaving any bit. Burger at its best!!!

Really good burger place, more expensive than other burger bars but you get what you pay for. Had the hell boy burger as I love spicy food, it's not for the faint hearted as it is very spicy🫠, even had to sign a waiver for it 👿 we also had the pastrami fries which were really good, they cost a lot more than the other fries but there's enough for 2 people so price evens out as the other fries like millionaires fries are only half the portion (but they come with chipotle mayo dip which is really tasty), we also had a dirty burger and a kids baby boy chicken tender burger which was also really good (I had to taste it to see if the Chicken was as good as the beef?) the chicken was excellent but I'm a beef man myself, I had 4 smashed patty's on my burger because I'm a greedy git 🤣 wife had 2 smashed patty's on hers, we didn't eat for the rest of the day (we eat the burgers at 1pm) drinks were reasonable (soft drinks were £4 but refillable at the drinks station you just help yourself) £2 for a fruit shoot for the little one. Some of the milkshakes were expensive but sounded great not sure we would of had room though if we had ordered them. Best to book a table well in advanced as demand is high, there were some walk-ins when we got there but they had to sit at the bar. Staff were all excellent, service charge is automatically added to the bill but I didn't mind as we had great service from various members of the team. Merchandise is also available to buy, I received the cookbook as a present so will attempt to make something at home soon as we had to travel a while to get to our nearest beefy boys so I hope they continue to open more restaurants around the country. I will be going back again whenever I am near a town with one in. Expect to spend around £20-£30 a head so not that expensive in terms of eating, well worth a visit if you're thinking of it, the Cheltenham one also has lots of other shops etc nearby and the brewery quarter which has cinema, bowling, crazy golf and more ideal for birthdays and special occasions.

I’ve been to the Shrewsbury branch twice and it was always great, the first time was a revelation in many ways. Today we got to try the Hereford branch, the OG branch. I was told by some friends who live local that it was better, by some distance too. Is that possible? Yes, basically. By some margin too. I didn’t expect that, but it happened. Pastrami Boy, 4 patties. The pastrami was like butter, and the flavour combinations were perfection. Probably a good thing I live at the arse end of Cornwall, I’d be there every week. Legendary restaurant.

OMG! I felt like I needed to hold a minutes silence for the Herefordshire cow that went into my burger. It was amazing! I am now ruined for “normal” burger eateries.

You may think this is crazy but I caught the train to go here for my birthday. From Manchester. I ate here about 7 years ago and loved it. I've wanted to come back ever since. So I decided this year that would be my present to myself. Now they are all famous and what not you have to book in advance, but it is so worth it. This was the best burger I'd had all year (it's December when I'm writing this.) Added a side of bacon fries, oh so good. I've got their cookbook so I'll have to practice making my own as I'm not going to wait another 7 years for my next Beefy Boys burger.

Had the work christmas meal here for the third time, everything was really good, lots of interesting burgers to choose from, all served in good time. Definitely one of the top attractions in Hereford for food.

Been a fan of the van and finally made the trip to the restaurant. Burger tasted even better. Fries deserve a shout out also and having discovered the ninja chicken too I was in food heaven. Shout out to Hollie who served us. Will definitely be making the drive out again.

Nobody else can beat them for burgers at the moment... I wish they still served their milkshakes in the silver containers instead of the plastic cups though...

Living in the States, I've had the chance to try countless varieties of burgers, but I must say, this place truly stands out as one of the best. Every time I'm in England, it's an absolute must-visit for me. Their burgers are incredible, and their Millionaire’s Fries? Simply unforgettable!

My first time here with wife and decided to see what the fuss is about being 4th best in the world. Yes they are good burgers and piping hot too but theyre small burgers. I thought I ordered a child burger but looking around other tables it was the same . Orderd one portion of fries and they are small portions. I dont eat a lot but didnt fill me up at all. Went home regretting paying £36 for 2burgers ,one fries and one top up coke.

It's got to be rated as the best burger restaurant in the UK.

We live nowhere near but have called in twice when on our travels after trying their smash burger recipe shown on Saturday Kitchen. We've also ordered a burger kit from them online & all that was left to do was visit the restaurant. We've now been twice, both times the service was brilliant and the food was divine. It's definitely worth a visit 👌

My favourite place to grab a burger in Wales - absolutely fantastic 🤤 The food is comparable to that of Hull/Yorkshire based 'Dope Burger' which was voted Britains best takeaway a few years ago. Highly recommend.

We sat outside as we had the dog with us. The burgers were very tasty and we shared some fries which were very tasty and enough for 2. Our dog was offered water by another member of staff not the one who took our order. Food took a while to come and the bill took even longer. The dog was getting restless so I went in and asked for it. Would like to sit inside next time as it looked very nice.

ABSOLUTELY INCREDIBLE! My partner is a burger chef and has been waiting to come here for ages. It was amazing. Everything cooked to perfection. We added extras like a cheese skirt and having the patties Oklahoma style and it was well worth it. The staff were brilliant and noticed when we were low on drinks. Cannot fault a thing, will be back as soon as we can! Shout out to Maz & Louie for being brilliant servers. Especially Maz for giving me loads of little bits to take home for my scrapbook!

Superb experience at the Beefy boys, table of 6 all fed very well, burgers were insane and the staff were attentive!

Food is outstanding and they will try to adapt things eg Gluten free buns, Salad for a low fat option etc plus doggy bags to take excess home. 10% Bluelight discount if you have one.

Arrived for a meal for my daughters birthday 5 of us but my booking wasn’t there, my fault as obviously hadn’t confirmed it properly. Kai who greeted us went above and beyond to find us a table it was outside he gave us blankets and put the heater on. We had amazing food and a wonderful evening. Kai was the kindest person I’ve met in a long time, the world needs more people like him. Fantastic food and phenomenal service, couldn’t recommend this place highly enough. Thank you!

I enjoyed a delightful meal at this establishment, and the burgers were both delicious and met my expectations. Although it was quite busy, the service was prompt. I did not try the desserts, but I found the selection of beers on tap to be satisfactory. Overall, I was very pleased with my experience.

Amazing burgers, but I could feel my veins clogging up with each bite. I understand this isn't diet food, but please tone down the oil/butter for a perfect score. Millionaire fries also had too much truffle oil on them.

Superb yet again! Great food! Great service! Reasonable prices! Only thing that let's it down is the red wine choices and the red wine prices.

Great place. Every table is a booth so feels nice and cosy. Staff were lovely. You don't feel rushed out the door. And the burgers are as good as they say.

Great place for food, excellent burgers and sides. Service from the bar was a little slow, and a few drinks that were asked for never made it to the table (were not on the bill either, so was missed by waiting staff). Food came out quickly and was of excellent quality. Will come back.

Visited last night as a group of 30. This was my first visit to Beefy Boys and was very impressed. The staff are energetic and friendly. The whole layout of the place and the decor is warm and cosy. The burger is probably the best I have ever tasted. I had the dirty boy, poutine fries finished off with a strawberry milkshake and I was left in a food coma. The restaurant was busy and despite us being a group of 30 the staff got our order spot on and nothing was too much trouble for them. We will definitely be returning in the future.

I grew up in Hereford but live in London now… have been coming here whenever I’m back seeing family though as - with a limited selection - it’s always been one of the best places to eat in Hereford. We went tonight and it feels like they’ve got a bit big for their boots. Service was incredibly slow and front of house was just quite un-accommodating. Distinct vibes that they thought we should be grateful to be eating there, which in a burger joint that’s basically only as good as a standard London burger restaurant you find everywhere in the capital, is not really on. Also feels like they’ve changed the buns for dryer ones and burgers were a bit salty. Sorry, but you’re not that good guys… will revert to burger shop rule of tum when I’m back next time.

100/10 You pay for what you get! i would highly recommend beefy boys to any and everyone. I did wait in the same queue to collect my food as people wanting to sit down and eat so better signs could improve this waiting time.

Absolutely amazing "proper" burgers ie. you can tell it's just minced staek). Lots of choices in terms of the type / size of patty, the dressings and add-ons, and just about everything else. Choice of "proper" chips (ie not fries) with various toppings (or none at all). Modern, energetic vibe. Great people and great service. Thank you Simon!!

Had many beefy boys over the last few years and it's always been lovely but they've now changed their roll supplier and it's completely ruined the entire burger. Whole burger completely overwhelmed by bread, almost stale in comparison to the old buns that were used. No shine to them was almost like eating a loaf of bread with the difference in texture between the old and new buns. Tried twice in the same week incase the first one was just a bad day but it was the bun that let it down both times. The fries have also changed and tasted like greasy/chip fat kebab shop cold fries not the high quality crispy fries that were served before and retained the heat. Unfortunately saving a few pence here and there between items by changing bun supplier/fries has ruined it for me and won't be returning again now the food has gone from 10/10 to a 5/10 at best.

We travelled with the purpose of visiting this restaurant. The ambience and service were superb the menu extensive. Personally I felt that the food (burgers and chicken strips) was more deconstructed slop than layers of flavour with an edge; they used processed cheese and the chips were tasteless. We loved the pornstar martinis and milkshakes. The bill didn't reflect our experience. But we are glad to have visited. Thanks for the memories.

Gorgeous food and really caring and attentive staff. We visited here for my son’s 3rd birthday and all loved the food and dining experience. We had booked a table in advance but arrived slightly early due to our two hungry children, however the staff were able to accommodate us without issue (despite it being relatively busy) and were really friendly and attentive. The burgers were incredible and children’s meals generously portioned. We also shared some loaded fries and chicken strips, both highly recommended. The staff were more than happy to provide us with takeaway containers for the leftovers. Thank you all for providing a great birthday meal.

Couldn’t fault the food at Beefy boys! Nice informal atmosphere, very busy for a Monday night. Nice seating and table separation, ask for a booth if there are 3 to 4 of you. Good choice of style of burgers, thick n juicy or smash etc. I had the Smash Blue Boy which was perfect, friends had other options which were the deep patty blue and the bacon one. Plain fries plus bacon fries to accompany them were perfect, we had 2 servings of fries between 3 of us - the bacon ones were our favourite. I am a visitor to Hereford but will definitely go to the Shrewsbury one which is closer to home!

Great burger restaurant. Absolutely brilliant with allergies - their knowledge and attention to this was better than most places. Really can't fault them. The burgers are delicious, the loaded fries also. Great drinks menu too. You probably need to book to get a table but only a day or two in advance for a weekend.

Absolutely amazing food, food arrived within 20 mins it usually takes a lot longer, food was amazing, I got the pizza boy, bacon fries and Mac n cheese balls, and that did fill me right up, I would 100% recommend this restaurant if you want a nice greasy burger 😍, I went here with my colleagues a while ago, and it was very good

We had to sit outside as it was so busy on a Saturday night. We should have booked so learnt from that mistake but they were able to accommodate a walk in. Luckily there were outdoor heaters and lights but it did get cold as the night progressed. We did visit in October! Food was so tasty. We ordered sides, burgers and loaded fries. The refillable soft drinks were appreciated too. Service was slow and the wait on the kitchen was about 30 mins but they were really busy for a Saturday night. As the wrong order came out for us originally, the waitress gave us a discount and also for having to wait in the cold for so long. So not so bad after all. Appreciated some hot food! Definitely coming back in the future and will book a table first!!

Burger nirvana. Perfect Oklahoma-style burger with those elusive just-right lacy edges. Great service. Really good & interesting sides, too. And some great soft-serve at the end. 5 stars, 10/10, 100%, etc. Just go, order a burger & enjoy true happiness in a difficult world.

As newcomers to Hereford, this was our first and eagerly anticipated visit. We received a warm welcome and were shown to our table. There's a huge choice from the menu and I opted for the Dirty Burger. Our server Sunny was lovely, and super friendly. It's not often that the food actually served in a restaurant matches the photos in the menu, but the Beefy Boys burgers do, and the burger tasted amazing - the best burger I've had in living memory! We couldn't resist having a sundae for dessert, and that too was the best I've had for ages. We'll be making a return visit soon!

I ordered for collection over the phone and was told to pickup up 8:50pm, got to the restaurant and ended up waiting another 30 minutes for my order. When I reminded a server of my order, I saw that it had been just sitting there. I understand it can be a busy restaurant but it was near closing at this point. Really disappointed because my food is now cold.

You can always rely on The Beefy Boys - in my experience it's always a consistently great experience.

Order number RQW366J As a business owner myself clients come first… not in beefy boys case! Ordered a collection to take away The Nashville chicken strips where so bad I threw them away. Bland & soggy. Infact they where so soggy the batter coating had peeled off & in the bottom of the tray. Burger was burnt, my partners was dry. The chips we ordered was ok. Missing the ranch dip and baconaise, super rough place I should have put my £50 else where. Crap!

Tried the Beefy Boys van at Malvern Autumn Show. Long queue and then 40 mins wait after that. Amazingly worth it. Never tried them before but the bacon burger was probably the best burger I've ever had. Next year I'll order at 11am rather than queue at 1230. Wish there was a restaurant in Cardiff.

We did have a nice time there. My burger was extremely greasy but was still very tasty. All the staff were happy and friendly so top marks there. Check your receipt as they overcharged us by £12.
