Quoted time 11/2 hours late, collected ourselves.

I've never had a bad meal from here until today and the chips were disgusting, I'm so disappointed, usually they're delicious, best in Hereford but today hard and undercooked.

Just had a delivery from Oceans. Cost over £30 and it was absolute junk. The fish and chips tasted like they had been lying around for a while. Ocean's used to be one of my favourites but the only good thing was the curry sauce.....

my sausage was missing from my order. Fishcakes were vile and had a weird flavour like something you would get from the supermarket. Not ordering from here in a hurry again.

Wonderful traditional shop. Went with a few friends and we all enjoyed our meals thoroughly ! They have gherkins too!! Would highly recommend

We have just had the 2x gluten free fish and chips 1x gluten free battered sausage and chips 1x battered sausage and chips 1xfish cake and chips One word amazing and the portion size of chips are very generous as well.. We will definitely be back

The best fish and chips in Hereford by a mile. The chips are always fresh and the batter is beautifully crisp. The staff, especially the owner are so friendly and speedy. Proper fast food.

Food was ok staff couldn’t understand what you ordered

Went here last night after searching all reviews on local shops. I'm glad I went. It has to be the freshest fish ever had so far from coast. Staff were great. 1 review moaned over price but you pay for what you get and it's probably 2£ dearer on a fish meal but worth every penny to get fresh. Will be going here as a regular

Not the cheapest place, but the fish is amazing. They cook it fresh for you. If you have a big order, I recommend calling first to save waiting around.

The fish was freshly fried. The portions were also good. Friendly service.

Great gluten free chips and chicken, with good friendly service too.

The prices have sky rocketed. Sad. Lovely people but rather spend a couple of quid more and have an Indian takeaway. Oh well, good luck. Hope it one day becomes reasonable again, until then - toodle pip.

Nice fish and chips and big portions. It isn't the cheapest, however the quality is good. Worth noting, grilled fish is not available here, battered only. 🐟🍟

Oceans is a traditional fish and chips shop located in hereford. Today is the first time i am trying a fish and chips after coming to UK. I told the owner about this, he looked at me and told me that they do give the fish and chips in the traditional way. He gave me a cod and chips which was topped with vinegar and salt. I must say that the food was so delicious and properly cooked. I also took a pork sausage as well and that too was finger licking. The food was given to me in a nicely packed box as shown in the photo and the owner was so nice and told me to consume the food as soon as possible to feel the authentic taste of the dish. I do highly recommend this shop who likes to try fish and chips in hereford.

So hard to find Gluten free chips that actually taste nice. When I said I was gluten intolerant the young lad serving me was able to inform me of the menu items that contained gluten. Wish I had ordered thirds xD. Would definitely reccomend this plaice to anyone seeking a good bag of chips.

The very best Fish and chips with yummy mushy peas. The chef is amazing and the kindest person you'll ever meet. The whole staff are tremendously friendly and grear at their job. I highly recommend Oceans. The best I've ever had !

This place is amazing!! The food is so good, tasty and fresh. They cater for Gluten Free as well which is a bonus! The staff were so friendly and helpful, answering questions and chatting away while getting the food ready. Will definitely be returning!!

Family run business. In my humble opinion the best chippy ever. Most of the fare is homemade daily. The cod is generous and the steak and onion pies are the bees knees 👍
