Excellent chip shop, lovely food and friendly staff, what more could you ask for.

Long-standing business serving great food. Very friendly staff and reasonable prices too. Definitely my favourite chip shop.

Lovely fresh cooked meal deal and not too much batter on the fish so not at all greasy, just like it should be.

Had a lovely tea from here last night fresh cod and generous sizes lovely friendly staff ,we will definitely be returning when we are in the area again .

My last visit when I got it home wasn't so good which is a first as usually it's very good

Just been in this dump, was one person in front of me he had ordered and was paying so I'm expecting to be next so I wait patiently to be asked for my order. Then our of nowhere some random guy walks into the shop bowls straight up to the counter directly in front of me and proceeds to blurt out his order to the woman who to my surprise actually takes the order. They tried to justify it but obviously they've got they're favorites/ mates. If you expect even a basic level of customer service then you would be better off having lunch in a prison canteen. What a hole!

Fish cooked to perfection lots of chips even for a small portion. Very clean.

Always a warm welcome to this takeaway. The staff are always polite and chatty with customers, and the food is excellent. There is a pre-order service available for those who want to just collect on arrival, rather than queue, as can get busy due to its popularity with locals. There is a wide selection of food available and also kids menus too. There is parking in front and a car park over the road, opposite. There is a little step to get in, and I am sure if you were in a wheelchair the staff would help as much as possible. Overall, it's a must visit if you haven't already.

Very good food, for being called a fish store they have a lot more than fish, from fried chicken to kebabs they have a lot and you can get you food in a round 5-15 minutes.

Great food & great prices to match. I've been coming to this chippy since I was a young kid, the quality food and staff has remained top tier for all of that time! I wouldn't go anywhere else in Burton for fish & chips 👍🏻

Still the best chip shop I’ve ever visited

I have been short changed again by Queens fish bar tonight (3/2/23). I realised about a minute after receiving my change, but as I'm not a confrontational person, chose not to speak up. However, this is the second time this has happened now, so I'm getting the impression that someone could potentially be on the fiddle. Nevertheless, the chips were nice, and £2 over the 2 occasions I've been short changed isn't a life changing amount of money, hence the 3 star review.

I’ve been three times so far with slow service each time. The third time, four people ordered after us, yet were served their food before us. Some ordered the same food as us, so this wasn’t a case of some orders take longer. It was apparent that when we were the only ones left waiting, they had forgotten our order. When we finally got handed our food, no apology for the wait. Last time I’ll be coming here. 👎

Always a nice greeting. A traditional fish and chip shop. Well cooked food in clean environment. Only take away. Be aware this is a small very popular shop so sometimes queues form.

I have been going to queens fish bar for a good while now and not once was I unsatisfied with there food, the staff are always friendly and the food is always hot and fresh. I highly recommend eating here.

Great chipshop. Love that you can now preorder, chips are always great, not oily like some chippies. Fish is nice, not overcooked. Kebabs are one of the best in town. Plus the staff are awesome. I would recommend this chipshop 100%.

I must say the best place to have quality fish and chip. They also even have kebab what a bonus. Food is delicious. Everything that you’re looking for a cheeky take away is all under one roof. The customer service is very efficient, they’re very welcoming and friendly. If you head to Winshill or Burton you must make a stop here.

Usually ok but recently ordered a pie which was cooked in the microwave without asking. Was totally inedible, when rang to complain was essentially my fault for not saying in advance. No offer of any recompense.

Just had chicken and chips and baked beans hubby had mixed meat kebab it was beautiful best chips I have had in a long time and hubby said said kebab was lovely

Very decent chippy. I've never seen a bigger portion of chips anywhere. Ordered medium and enough for about 3 people. Heaven knows what large chips looks like 🤣

We have fish and chips from the queens every Friday. The fish 🐠 is always fresh, the chips are yummy and the staff are brill. Love the queens and would recommend them. Well worth a visit

I've justed this chip shop a few times but never again. At approximately 4.30 I called in, asked for Small fish, chips and peas. Got home.. Very disappointed.. Soggy batter with mushed up fish ontop of soggy chips and dried up mushy peas, and what little bits of fish were hidden in the sog.. Rang them, the excuses were... Changed oil, different potatoes. So I took it back.. Lol, it was my fault because I asked for it on a tray... Which I didn't. £5.25 down the drain. The attitude of the manager was discusting, blaming a customer for not saying to put it all separately.
