This is the third time we have visited here and we received a lovely welcome as always . The meal was beautiful and the staff were very friendly and helpful .
To round of the evening George came out and spoke to everyone at the tables to make sure everything was OK with meals etc.
A lovely touch to actually the chef/ owner .
Lovely evening. Will be going again.
Really flavoursome and interesting food. A cut above the usual Indian restaurant ! Would highly recommend to anyone in the area. Also, they deliver takeaway in a radius of 8 miles too
Restaurant or Conference centre? Possibly spreading themselves too thin to achieve either, to a level of excellence. We arrived for our reservation to a little confusion of where we should be seated. After advising we were unhappy to be sitting in the thoroughfare of plated food exiting the kitchen, this issue was resolved straight away. Well done! A later reservation lead us to fall foul to the reduced portion (scallops sliced horizontally, etc) scenario. The bacon and black pudding was dry, but moistened by the saturated lettuce. The roast dinner was very tasty, but was a far cry from the beautifully plated photo on your website. Disappointing.
We went here for the first time for a family Christmas meal and we were so impressed. The food was outstanding. I can honestly say it was better than alot of places I have eaten. I had the pumpkin veloute, turkey and Christmas pudding. Every course was really tasty and well cooked. Everything is cooked on site by the students. All of our plates were empty!
Our main server Jack was very friendly, professional, attentive and knowledgeable when we asked about the food. He also sorted it for my son to have some ice-cream as he didn't like any of the puddings on the menu.
Well done to all of the students, staff and tutors both kitchen and front of house. It was a lovely evening and we will definitely be returning. We would all highly recommend eating here. Definitely worthy of their 2 Rosettes.
Great food and service, the Chicken Tikki Masala was lovely, looks to have opened recently as we were the only ones there, don’t let that put you off as the service was very quick and the food was great. No alcohol services so bring your own, not an issue as there is an Asda nearby.
Lovely staff, lovely cakes, lovely atmosphere - nothing else needs saying.
Can get busy with cyclists sometimes but always somewhere to sit.
Just a delight.
The Caribbean night was great with friendly fun staff. They had an issue with one of the dishes, but to me it was the first night, so bound to be teething issues. Looking forward to going back again today because the food was actually really tasty. 👌
Omg forgot to say never tried Goat before, but wow so soft. So excited today.
One of the best meals we’ve had in a long time! For starters, I had Goats cheese wrapped in pancetta, my husband had tandoori lamb cutlets and we both had venison for mains. I asked for my venison to be cooked “no blood” and it was perfectly done.
An accident at the table was dealt with quickly and efficiently, thank you, and we all thoroughly enjoyed our evening despite the incident. My husband and I are already planning a return visit with some other friends.
Went today with my daughter and baby grandson
For breakfast , I had the full English and it was first class.
The atmosphere is lovely and calm with a classic background piano music .
The staff were welcoming , thank you Chefs table
For a lovely start to the weekend .
We visited GiZli Buryon for the second time, the food was all cooked fresh, not OILY most importantly.
Portion sizes were generous, sauces were homemade and amazing, given for free.
Highly recommended the cheesy Spring rolls, and Mac & Cheese, (BIG CHEESE FAN), my son had the panini he loved it, 100% spot on.
The staff were super friendly and helpful, genuinely cared about your meal and experience.
The atmosphere had a good homely vibe, It was clean and inviting, lots of seating available downstairs and upstairs.
I would highly recommend giving this place a visit.
