My wife and I treat ourselves sometimes to a breakfast at the Ango and it never disappoints! Great food service and people, we shall return.

Amazing staff incredibly welcoming. Food was excellent very good price for portions and lovely and hot. Great atmosphere between customers would definitely recommend and will be visiting again.

Food is spot on pizza is amazing chips are bang on the staff kept us up to date on our order and made us feel welcome great place got a kids park nice benches outside

Phil and the team's Sunday lunch was always amazing. The launch of Phil's new oven today sent the food into a different league altogether. As always 3 roasts, mash and roast potatoes, 6 freshly cooked veg and Yorkies to die for. Absolutely beautiful is an understatement. The Anglesey at Winshill is not to be missed, for breakfast, weekday lunch or the ultimate Sunday lunch. Thanks all

Carvery is 10/10, unfortunately unable to offer this currently but the other food they offer is lovely! Landlord & landlady really welcoming. Bar staff also very nice. Abi was particularly friendly when we came in. Will be back soon

Lovely experience. Heating was on, clean and friendly pub. Even though they seem to be working on a limited menu me and my partner really enjoyed our food. I had liver and onions and my partner had the Ango Bonkers burger and honestly it was 10/10. Decent portion size, piping hot food.

Came for a carvery with the family, excellent choice in meat, vegetables and different types of potatoes which accommodated my children as they all eat different types, good portion sizes for price paid. Great atmosphere and polite and welcoming staff. Very pleased thank you.

Had sunday carvery here today, food was excellent, 3 choices of meat, loads of veg , was delicious, excellent value for money, with good home cooked food, Yorkshire puddings were massive. 3 choices of size meals, we chose medium, plenty . There was beef Turkey and gammon, plus roast new and mash pots. Peas, carrots, stuffing ball , giant yorkie, green beans, parsnips and cauliflower cheese plus a nice gravy. Roast beef was so tender . We saved room for pud , cheesecake, chocolate brownie, apple pie all served with icecream, delicious 😋 we will definitely be back 😀 staff are very friendly and welcoming.

We went here for a wake for my mums funeral. Brilliant place, fantastic buffet, amazing service. Would I recommend, without a doubt. Thank you for everything you did for her on the day.

Staff were so lovely and inviting really made me feel at ease with coming on my own. Food was amazing, well cooked and hot also changed some items on the breakfast as I didn’t like some items, very well presented. Very good price for what you get.

Thank you Phil and Nikki for a lovely night for my 65th birthday party. It was a great night enjoyed by all my family and friends. I would have another party in this lovely local establishment xx

Through these rough times it’s been fantastic to see Phil and Nicky again. Even though it’s tough for them they have done everything in there power to make all there customers happy again. Hats off to them for still smiling and giving us all a fantastic service as always! :)

I love this pub!!! Have recently rediscovered it .. a new landlord and landlady who are superb !Very clean, well organised and so friendly!The breakfast is fantastic and such good value for money !This evening I took part in the regular quiz night... what great fun! Thanks Phil you did a great job as host and thanks to all the lovely customers ... such a laugh !! Me dieron la última habitación individual, que era muy agradable, con un poco de ducha y baño. La ducha era un poco angosto como la puerta no deslice hacia atrás completamente. Mi habitación estaba limpia y la cama era cómoda. La habitación tenía todo lo necesario de un hotel moderno, incluso un poco cafetière. Aunque yo era consciente del ruido del tráfico y también el bar ocupado por debajo, no dormir bien.El desayuno era bueno. Me pareció que el personal era muy amable y servicial, incluso recomendar un paseo local que he seguido y fue encantador.Sin duda volveremos.

Como un ciudadano que visite este increíble pub. Este pub es increíble el viernes por la noche; el parque significa su niño/niños tener aire fresco y llega a socializar con otros niños locales. Lo único negativo que puedo decir es acerca de límite de tiempo de los niños, como todo el mundo es amable con gran mutuamente y nadie empuja o empujar y todo el mundo se pone a lo largo y hay un parque en miniatura en la parte superior de la hierba más mesas afuera si soleado.Además, en el verano tienen barbacoas, castillo hinchable y muchos más!La comida es una maravilla una vez tuve una cena con asado y proporcionan salsas y sal, pimienta y más siempre llevarlo buscando increíble y son muy serviciales.Los baños están limpios y tienen buen aspecto, pero el único inconveniente es que sólo hay dos baños y hay baños para mujeres y para hombres, así que no los aseos para ambos sexos.

We went here for a pre wedding meal there was 12 of us and they catered for all of us..food was excellent staff very friendly cheap food prices compared to some places.All in all its a good place to eat.

Wonderful pub, great real ales, even mild! Good atmosphere friendly locals to converse with. But best part although I believe only do food on a Sunday it is wonderful. I remember as a kid when I used to have Sunday dinner at home. My mother's fantastic cooking, meat cooked to perfection bit burnt on the outside, cut in wedges rather than very thin insipid slices, seasonal fresh vegatables ( she wont buy it unless its perfect) with so much flavour and wondeful gravy, and oh yes pork with hard crackling, or lamb so tender. Well go here because that's exactly what you will get.

Vimos esto caminando por el paseo marítimo. Metimos en un almuerzo ligero. Ambos tuvimos baguettes con una orden de patatas fritas. Dios mío era las mejores patatas fritas que he tenido en mucho tiempo. Big cortes pero crujientes por fuera y suaves y esponjosas en el interior. La comida se sirve con un servicio amable. Se hará una parada para probar algo nuevo en el menú.
