My band Blacksheep Reloaded had the opportunity to gig here this weekend and it was a great night, all staff and punters were very welcoming and friendly, despite us not being the usual type of band they have there. We’re on the heavier side of rock but It was good to see everyone enjoying themselves, staff and punters alike, including the elderly group that had to take their hearing aids out and rocked along with us. We recommend this pub, there’s always lots of entertainment going on including live bands and karaoke. It was a great night had by all!!

Best pint of Guinness in ages. Staff and landlord very welcoming and friendly. Friday night live entertainment always a good group or solo singer.

Very nice family friendly pub. Good host, Clive and Val. We have visited many times and always had a warm welcome.

Great local pub. Fancy a pint after a cold day at work try this place. Not only is the pub lovely and warm all the time so is the welcome you will receive by the owners and the staff. All draught beers are kept the good old fashioned way by a proper traditional landlord. Good beer, sensibly priced and possibly the best pool table in the town.

Fantastic atmosphere. For the kids Halloween party. Staff very helpful. Entertainment excellent. Night time for the adults also excellent.
