Very accomodating staff transferring our tables for 15 to a single table on the patio outside allowing us to enjoy the sun. Excellent cuisine similarly accomodating our various requests for menu alterations. Great food and very friendly service. A real find.

Fab evening, wonderful food, fantastic service and great atmosphere for a relaxing eve that was quite special. I had the confit duck curry which was delicious and the rhubarb ice cream / custard pud which was possibly the most surprising but lovely desert. This place is one to keep coming back too.

What a fabulous time we had to celebrate our 25th wedding anniversary, sublime, great food, wine , music, ambience, staff great, perfect. AJ and Vince ❤️

Another outstanding meal at Lowe’s - this time we tried the Sunday lunch menu and can confirm this WAS the best roast in Staffordshire, in fact the best roast we have ever had! Exceptional yet again and already cannot wait to return!

We dined at Lowes for anniversary lunch as been for brunch and dinner several times before. Lovely sunday roast and service ambience. Great to see local business in town and would recommend.

We visited Lowe’s for my partner’s 30th, there were 12 of us all together and we sat in the back room for a Sunday lunch. We had the most incredible meal, everyone commented on how great the food was and the staff couldn’t have done more for us. Luke and his colleague put up with all my fussing beforehand with ease and grace and were wonderfully accommodating. Would highly recommend both the Sunday lunch itself and the team at Lowes. Will be returning for many a meal in the future!

Fantastic meal as always. The Eton mess was amazing! Everything was delicious. The staff are so friendly. So glad we have this lovely place in Uttoxeter.

Post our Bramshall Road Parkrun we were recommended to have a breakfast at Lowes by a friendly fellow Parkrunner, wh also mentioned that if you say you did the Parkrun on the Saturday that you’d get a free coffee with the breakfast so it seemed too good to be true…we took the short walk from the leisure and were given a very warm welcome and seated in a cosy spot by the window. We were served by Luke who was fantastic in making us feel comfortable and welcome and able to be relaxed in choosing exactly what we wanted. For the quality of the food, service and atmosphere we would give Lowes 5 stars as it will top your morning after a hard run. Highly recommended for a delicious breakfast and artisan coffee!

Really nice to find a quality local restaurant. Nothing is cheap anymore so it seems more important to make sure your getting good quality for your money and great food. Lowes was excellent for quality food and service.

We stopped at Lowe's on our way to the the Lake District from Kent. A lucky find on Google Maps that lived up to and beyond our expectations. The food was delicious and the staff wonderful. I wish Lowe's was closer to home! If you live in Uttoxeter or close by, and you enjoy good food and excellent service, go!

Our fourth visit today on the request of my mother-in-law for her 80th Birthday. As always the food was amazing and George sad his team made it another memorable visit and gave us all a glass of fizz complimentary and George came to the table to chat to my mother-in-law to wish her a Happy Birthday. George your roasts are the best and your candy floss eton mess was just so yummy. See you all again soon. We cannot recommend Lowes highly enough the food and team make every visit special x

Loved the cute restaurant. Came here from a recommendation and the food did not disappoint. Delicious Lobster bisque pasta and the Eton Candy Mess dessert was light and scrumptious. Definitely coming back!

This was mine and my husbands first visit to Lowe’s to celebrate our Anniversary. We found the restaurant so relaxing. Everything is so neat and clean. The outside courtyard looked very pretty and one we will visit soon. We chose to have a starter, mains and dessert, all of which were absolutely perfect in both the presentation and taste. The staff were very attentive and offered a complimentary small glass of ‘fiz’, in acknowledging our little celebration. We most certainly will be back to sample more from the menu and cannot recommend this ‘gem’ in Uttoxeter enough. If peak times are required to eat, a booking is essential! In summary an all round excellent dining experience.

We came based on a recommendation by foodie friends- wow! So glad we did! Everything was incredible! Ingredient quality, excellent service from all the staff, subservient cookery and a really lovely ambiance! Can’t recommend it enough. Icing on the cake is the chef coming out at the end of your meal to have a chat, what a personal touch. Can’t wait to come back! I’d give it 6 stars if I could.

George & his team just simply get everything right. Tonight was our second visit & was absolutely outstanding again We were served by Luke who like all the front of house staff are friendly & knowledgeable. The service is attentive without being intrusive. The food here is first class, all fresh & carefully sourced. The Tuna Tostado was out of this world. We are so lucky to have such a high quality venue in out little town Will without doubt be returning for a 3rd visit

Father’s Day meal treat, we had the English breakfast, wild mushrooms, and the kids had the wheel barrow croissants….all incredible and super tasty, service friendly and warm.

I’m still dreaming about my meal at Lowes on Carter Street. Each bite was a delight, and the presentation just blew us away. Don’t miss out on trying their Lobster and crab mac & cheese bites….or their Buttermilk fried chicken, chilli glaze & hazelnuts…in fact everything they do is utterly perfect. Everyone is amazing and so welcoming. It’s been years since we have had an actual conversation with a chef who obviously delights in the food they create. Lowes is how restaurants Should be run and it’s in a class on its own.

Chose this venue due to the reviews and they are right! Fantastic food, lovely service and a really nice venue. Menu changes each week and they were very accommodating not only to my large group but dietary issues one member of my party had. Great wine and cocktail menu, after dinner coffees were tasty, even the music playing was great! Could not fault Lowe’s, excellent all around, I will be certainly be back! 🫶🏻

We were visiting Uttoxeter for the weekend and saw the lovely reviews for this place. The menu changes regularly apparently so there's always something new to try. Everything was freshly prepared and even the pasta was homemade! Staff were so incredibly nice and the Chef even came out to speak to us (he had so much patience because my mum WENT ON AND ON about Tiramisu and how she always had it in Italy when she was a child). They were offering a RASBERRY Tiramisu (a twist to the traditional one) so we decided to give it a try and it was amazing! Would absolutely recommend this place!

Amazing menu choice this week! The baby calamari was a particular highlight. Service was also amazing as usual!!

And all the reviews reflect the amazing meal and service that we received today. Fantastic Sunday lunch. I am adding some feedback to my original review. I returned many times after my initial visit and I received consistent excellent service and most importantly the food is consistently delicious. The menu is updated regularly. I love good food and good service and I definitely get both every time. Well done to the chef and the amazing team. I booked Sunday Lunch for my sisters 60th birthday celebration for 4 diners. What a find!! Lovely staff, shown to our table and a balloon and a birthday card has been placed which was a very thoughtful touch. Food was fabulous, nothing was too much trouble (a dessert was adapted for an allergy). We thoroughly enjoyed our visit and will definitely be recommending you all to our friends. Can’t wait to return soon. Thank you all 😊

Lowe's- The food is great! Me and my wife thought that the starter main and sweet were brilliant! The steak is one of the best we've had at a restaurant for quite a while and cooked perfectly! (Medium) everything was a nice size portion not too big or to small! Service is friendly and prompt but relaxed at the same time and efficient but not overwhelming and very professional! Chef even gave his time to check in with the guests! The atmosphere is great too you feel welcomed and appreciated, all in a very well run intimate little restaurant with amazing food great staff, and a brilliant chef / chefs? 10/10 we will definitely vist again and will rave about our visit to our friends!! Well done well done...🤌

I would eat here every day if I could. Food is just stunning. Service and atmosphere are outstanding. Definitely the best restaurant in Staffordshire.

This restaurant deserves no less than 5 stars. We’ve eaten here on a few occasions for breakfast, brunch and dinner and each visit has been consistently as good as the last. Always something new to try, the menu is innovative and varied, something for everyone to enjoy! You can really tell that a lot of heart, soul and hard work goes in to this place. Service has also always been excellent, everyone’s so welcoming and friendly. Can’t really fault it!

Another visit to Lowes and yet again a fabulous meal. Have now experienced dinner, brunch, Sunday lunch and bar snacks. All superb. Great atmosphere, very friendly staff and always feel welcome.

The best breakfast for miles! Great fresh produce, beautifully cooked with passion and attentive service. We went out for a special birthday treat on Saturday morning and were bowled over by how good everything was on the plate. We wanted to feed this back to the chef, who came out for a quick chat. Bonus glass of fizz, which was such a lovely touch to a perfect morning! Thanks George! We will definitely be back very soon.

12 of us visited here for a hen dinner. The food, drink and cocktails were all delicious as was the atmosphere. The owner was such a genuine caring person who contributes to his local community, he even came to thank us for eating at his establishment, his staff were amazing professional and friendly.

What an absolutely amazing welcome from George and the team. A fantastic combination of unbelievable friendly welcome and amazing food. We had a family breakfast for 6 and all chose differently. Every choice was excellent quality taste and presentation. I cannot recommend enough and we will be back to try Sunday lunch very soon.

Exceptional Sunday Roast and excellent attentive staff.

We visited Lowes for breakfast today and everything was perfect, the food was amazing and the staff are so friendly and attentive. We tried the full English breakfast and the ice cream and chocolate pancakes, great portions, so tasty and we thought really good value for money. Looking forward to my next visit on Saturday😊

Looking for a late dinner in Uttoxeter and came across this gem of a restaurant who made us very welcome on entry and just got better and better. Food freshly cooked and served by keen and dedicated staff. Can highly recommend.

10s across the board for this little restaurant-cafe! Stopped in for breakfast and had the wild mushrooms on toast and it was to die for - worth noting that the menu is very limited, but I felt that there was something for everyone. Family have also recommended them for an evening meal - tapas style! So will be back shortly for round two! Amazing service from the chefs and the waiter! Came out to check if it was okay to cook my mushrooms in butter on the off chance I was vegan (I’m not but appreciated the conscientiousness and sure others would too!)
