We were a small family group out to celebrate a Birthday. This is an African / English restaurant that specialises in African dishes. This being because the owner / chef is English but with African connections and having spent some considerable time there. We all selected an African dish, the food is amazing and each dish was themed to a particular African Country and is all cooked with fresh ingredients on the premises. The staff are all very efficient, pleasant and friendly which made it great night out. I think this was their 1st opening night since the virus lock down and they ask for advance bookings only which is very sensible at present. It is quite ironic that this restaurant is next door to 99 Station Street, an award winning English Restaurant, I expect that Inspirations will soon follow !

We are soooooo pleased to see that this noodles restaurant has come out of lockdown still serving amazing noodles at a price which is a absolute bargain! Highly recommended!

Ordered for delivery, food came on time and was still hot! Had a good selection of food and could not fault any of it, all tasted amazing. Also, great value for money. Especially recommend the wings and the mac n' cheese.

4 of us went for an lndian night poppadoms and chutneys to start next were onion bhaji and samosas with a vegetable dish and the mains there was a choice 3 of currys with rice and nan bread and fresh fruit with ice cream for dessert all in all a very nice meal and the staff were excellent and polite we have also been for Sunday lunch and would go back again

My wife and I went to The Hourglass , Tutbury,Staffs with friends and family today to mark my wife's birthday. We had pre ordered food and were not disappointed by what we were served. Lovely fresh meals and very tasty, served in a timely manner and with great service.Would definitely recommend this small business establishment. What a fantastic little place. The food was all home made and tasted amazing. Portions were generous and the staff were incredibly friendly. So glad I gave it a try as it has become my new favourite place and I can’t wait to visit again. Treat yourself and give it a try, you absolutely won’t be disappointed.

Delicious great value for money cafe. Speciality is halal breakfast but food is now served all day including British favourite sandwiches and Sunday roast. Check the daily specials!

I'm surprised there is only 1 review for this lovely place. I go with my partner fairly regularly and we love it. It's kind of no frills being where it's situated but the food is ALWAYS so good and so reasonably priced. Service is fast, welcoming and friendly. They don't serve alcohol but there is a Tesco next door and you can take drinks in...perfect! I've got to say the lamb shish tonight was beautiful, PERFECTLY cooked. It's always busy with deliveries and collections and bookings later in the evening so we always book or go early. Just love this place!

This shop has the best cheesecakes in burton and best thing of them is that they are all handmade. The selection of desserts is absolutely fantastic. The shop also offers takeaway and delivery service via there own website and Uber eats. Definitely reccomend this shop.

This is the second time that we have eaten in The Ballroom restaurant at Hoar Cross Hall Like any restaurant, all three of the crucial elements need to be right for it to be considered exceptional, the food, the ambiance and the quality of the service The Ballroom at Hoar Cross Hall cannot be faulted, excellent food, beautifully prepared and presented, served by charming, attentive and knowledgeable staff in a magnificent setting

Un restaurante muy bonito, con un servicio rápido y eficiente, el personal muy amable, la comida y la bebida encantadora y precios muy razonables. Tenía queso en tostadas, que era precioso y fresa era precioso y un batido y con espuma! Definitivamente volveremos! 😀
