The bar staff here are unbelievably welcoming. Had a bad day and they were lovely and welcoming. I would highly reccomend this pub for a friendly pint

Stumbled across this place recently whilst doing the Melbourne arts trail. Its easy to miss but well worth a visit if you're a fan of tea and cake !. Being gluten free I am used to cafes offering one / two options, but tea at three had five or six (spoilt for choice - all looked delicious !), plus probably a dozen other non GF options to tempt you. The coffee was good too. They have a small seating area indoors and more seating in the courtyard outside. I will be back next time I am in Melbourne - many thanks !.

Very friendly and the food is great. Good portion sizes for the price. I personally like the chicken shawarma but the mixed grills are also good. Definitely worth trying.

Stopped here on our way to Chester and, although it is only a small establishment, it had a good choice, including the infamous vegan sausage roll. Staff were continually cleaning the shelves and floor, and appeared to be taking pride in the place.

Good gestures go a long way! I was holding on to a parcel for a neighbour and just got told he’s dying after giving it into the pub. I got a free pint to say thanks and the room here is being named after him🥹🥲🤍

Mums 80th Birthday party, the staff couldn’t do enough for us, the food was great, the staff were extremely professional, would highly recommend, for either a party or a night out.

Great Food, authentic Italian at a reasonable price. Excellent service, venue is extremely clean and cheerful. Fantistico!

This is one of the nicest places I've been in a long time, lovely food, amazing venue and the staff are really lovely. Fantastic range whether it be cake and coffee or something a little stronger, you won't be disappointed!

The pub is what you would expect if not a little expensive. Landlord is a strange fellow. Best idea is to try not to speak to him as unless you are ready for a long chat about how great he is. Also, I would suggest only ever buying half a pint at a time just in case he decides your time has come. We have only been in a couple of times but on both occasions someone has been barred for a trivial problem or disagreement.

Great food and slightly overenthusiastic service. But it's a college cafeterium. People are learning the craft, so cut them some slack.

Stop for a coffee few weeks ago . Great coffee with whipped cream float . We also ate a well prepared sandwich & croissant . Before we left we bought a box of the gorgeous chocolates , nicely boxed with a bow .grest for gifts . Been few times now . Highly recommend great staff very friendly !
